I’ve now used Advanced Plumbing & Drain several times. Most recently, a multipart project to spruce up 2 bathrooms that included a very difficult removal of an old faucet (without damaging the countertop), replacement of old sink faucet valves, and planning and installation of a new faucet. Things I really like include: their booking process that includes reminders and updates, very good communication and helpful insights that improved my plans for the project. In researching earthquake readiness, I learned that you can retrofit your house’s gas supply with an automatic shut-off valve that detects seismic shaking greater than 5.0. This means if there’s an earthquake emergency you don’t have to think about shutting off the gas. I contacted Advanced Plumbing & Drain for an appointment. The team arrived on time, assessed the situation and completed the retrofit within the hour. Prompt and professional. Good communication. I highly recommend them.

Tim made my appointment and was very good about texting me of expected arrival time. Alex was friendly and knowledgeable. He ran water down the backup/cleanout drain and it seems the drain had unclogged itself. He told me it happens when the p-trap is dry, the dust and dried gunk may cause clogging…told me to run water through the drain periodically and that should prevent future clogging. He did not charge me for coming over to look at it. I really appreciated that he didn’t try to upswell me on anything I didn’t need. It’s hard to find a good, honest plumber like Alex and I will certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing needs.

I had a problem with a dishwasher, it started to leak and called this company, many companies were closed for the weekend but this company answered my phone call pretty late at Friday night, next day, on Saturday the technician Alex Fernandez came and fixed all the problems like magic. He explained every detail of the problems so I understand completely. He was super friendly and very nice! When our water heater stopped working we called a number of potential vendors and Advanced Plumbing & Drain stood out starting with the person answering the phone's willingness to walking through relighting the pilot light. Even though we were unsuccessful at that effort (because the old controller was defective), we were able to schedule Alex, the tech, to come the following morning to install a new unit. Things went well. Alex said exactly what he was going to do and then did it on time, and at a reasonable price. I endorse Advanced.

On a Friday night over a holiday weekend our toilet overflowed. I called Advance Plumbing and was able to secure an appointment on Saturday morning. Alex was super professional, called when he was on his way and arrived during the agreed upon window. He clearly explained the issue, solution and cost. Alex performed the work quickly and efficiently and with such a pleasant demeanor. We plan on calling Advanced Plumbing, and specifically Alex to replace our current toilet.

Jeremy did an awesome job replacing our old disposal. He explained the issue (it was old and had rusted through) and provided us with a few different options for replacements. He luckily had all of the parts with him and was able to complete the job in about an hour, and showed us that everything was working well. Much appreciate for Alex's work. He is so kindly and professional. He provided a reasonable estimate for replacing all my pipe and reset the kitchen pipe. He had the job done perfectly and efficiency. He even works on weekend and the labor day. He use his holiday time to save my time and money. I can't thank him more than I want. Jeremy arrived, assessed the situation, and cleared a clogged kitchen sink drain in less than 15 min using an "air plunger". Not only was it fast and efficient, it did a "clean" job leaving no trace of dirt & grease. Jeremy put on his shoe covers on which is much appreciated by the resident and owner in maintaining a clean environment. Totally satisfied and will ask for Jeremy in the future.

Superb service. Alex was very professional and polite, did the job (disposal replacement) quickly and efficiently, and even recommended a very wise short pipe replacement (which had previously leaked as indicated by some tape on it) that was very cheap and easy. He also shared tips with me for how to deal with small issues down the road. We would definitely call them again.

Jeremy came out within a few hours of our call, diagnosed the problem, and came back the next day to install a new hot water heater. Our old one wouldn’t fit down the side of the building so he came back in two days, with another guy, and they spent 2 hours cutting the old heater apart to be transported away. Had to have a garbage disposal installed and to leverage the visit, also a water valve replacement. Installer was professional, helpful (did some troubleshooting to try to avoid other costs) and provided fair estimates. My mom has used these folks before and always fair, honest, clean up after work and I feel we are treated respectfully.

Came and sorted an emergency brilliantly. He needed other items to get before tackling several other jobs. When the item i needed to order I called back as instructed. The receptionist said she would have him call Monday after the weekend it is Thursday. Still no call back. Will have to get another plumber.
