Dr. Roderick and staff are great. They all do a wonderful job and are highly competent which puts me at ease. I trust them and I know I am getting good care. I recently went through the Invisilign experience and I am VERY happy with the results. My teeth have been shifting over the years, causing my bite to change, resulting in my gums receding. It caused a lot of sensitivity issues and I was constantly getting bonding done along the gum line to fight it. It got to the point where I hated going to the dentist because of the discomfort that I experienced during even routine cleaning, not to mention the need for more bonding. Dr. Roderick helped me understand what was happening and recommended the Invisilign treatment to fix my bite, which would in turn stop the recession. IT DID! I am glad I put the waiting to an end because I am so much more comfortable. Now, dental visits are no big deal...no more sensitivity, bonding, pain, or anxiety! The difference is night and day and I am thrilled that I did it. I feel like I added years of good life to my teeth and that is worth every penny. I used the finance option available through Care Credit and paid it off within the interest free time frame. The office helped me sign up for that. I am really glad I invested in my teeth and if you are on the fence about it, jump off and get it done. As far as the Invisalign experience, it is mostly good. I liked that I could take it out when I wanted to. But you really need to be good about wearing it, otherwise you will waste your time and money. They are clear so be careful not to accidentally throw them away. (It helps to use the case they give you and bring it with you, like when you eat out, so you have somewhere to put them besides a napkin, that gets tossed!) I didn't like the little buttons that had to be placed on some teeth so that the trays would grab on but they were necessary, and a lot less annoying than braces I am sure. I got used to them. Also, my teeth were pretty tight so he had to file the spaces in between some teeth on multiple occasions, which was really weird, but again, necessary for the best outcome. This did not cause any damage of course. It took a little over 6 months and I wear a retainer at night when I go to bed to maintain the results. It acts as a bit of a night guard too. It doesn't bother me one bit. I actually kind of like it. He also helped my husband with an anti-snore mouthpiece. Prior to this, we were actually considering a CPAP because I noticed he would stop breathing at night and his snoring was bad, unless he slept a certain way, which was causing chronic shoulder pain....that he also had physical therapy for! The problem was snowballing! Instead of a CPAP machine, we asked Dr. Roderick some questions about the mouthpiece and opted for that. Now he can sleep in multiple, comfortable positions. It positioned his jaw so that he could breath AND his shoulder is fine! So glad we didn't go down the CPAP route, which would have been more expensive, cumbersome, and totally unnecessary at this time in our lives. Hope this helps somebody! — Julie Cailliet

This is the most kind, patient, thorough, knowledgeable and helpful experience I have ever had with a dental practice! You will notice the difference from even your first phone call with them! After a truly disappointing experience with a different dental practice, I am relieved and grateful to have found the wonderful dentist and his wonderful team that I can trust!...UPDATE -- After having root planing/under the gum cleaning and antibiotic treatment completed, I want to share that this practice exceeded my expectations in every way! First, all costs and challenging dealings with my insurance company were patiently and thoroughly handled by Christina for my benefit and explained to me thoroughly. Then, the actual treatment itself, which I've heard from others is commonly a painful experience, was absolutely not painful and I had no anesthetic! Michelle is gifted and genuinely cared about me and made certain I was comfortable through every step of the treatment! Then, Dr. Roderick took his personal time later that evening to call me just to check on how my gums were feeling that evening! Which they weren't hurting me or bothering me even one bit! You MUST switch to Dr. Roderick and his awesome team!!! You will be impressed and thankful you did!!

The minute you walk into Dr. Roderick's office you are greeted with warmth and friendliness from head to toe. Not only is Dr. Roderick outstanding, thorough, and direct. He actually spends the time to go over concerns he wants to treat going forward. Michelle the hygienest is excellent and very pleasant. Holly the office coordinator is bubbly and fun she certainly takes the edge off going to the dentist. Last but not least Priscilla Dr. Roderick's assistant is super and very personable. This dental practice is Top Notch you won't find one better in the valley!! I also want to add that Dr. Roderick saved my husband from some bad dental work that gave him a terrible infection two months ago. He truly was caring in responding to me reaching out on an emergency situation on a Sunday. He even went as far as setting him set up with an Oral surgeon that was all set up for Monday he was spot on with diagnosis. We really appreciate you Dr. Roderick and your amazing staff. Going to the dentist has always been something that I typically do not enjoy. Fear not because Dr. Roderick and his team will actually make you enjoy going to the dentist. From the moment you walk in the door, Holly makes you feel welcome and right at home with her friendly, warm, and professional manner. Furthermore, Michelle is a sweet, calm, and patient person and is the most gentle hygienist I have ever had! Michelle would check in with me often to make sure the water temperature was just right with my extremely sensitive teeth and that I was comfortable. She even took the time to show me how to properly floss using two different methods. Lastly, Dr. Roderick is excellent and makes you feel very welcome as a new patient in his office. He has a vast amount of knowledge in his profession and it shows. I can promise you that you will be in great hands if you choose Dr. Roderick and his team for your dental care. They put patient comfort as their top priority! Five stars and an A+! Thank you Dr. Roderick and team!

Beware! Unfortunately we found out the hard way they are not in any network for insurance. In fact, we were told that we need to pay up front and then our insurance reimburses us and that's the way they always do it - not at any point in time did they ever say that they were not in ANY network and there was absolutely no guarantee we would ever be reimbursed. So after my $700 out-of-pocket filings, I was reimbursed $75. Little did I know it would have been covered 50 to 60% by my insurance had I gone to a different dentist. In my opinion this is predatory business practice. Patients should be told upfront that they are not in network and that patients will be paying out of pocket. Had I known this, I certainly would not have stayed with this practice, I would have found someone that Delta Dental would have been working with. They lost three patients because of this and they seemed to not care in any way.

I went here last year and was very pleased with the staff and the care. HOWEVER, my appointment this week was a big disappointment. Dr began by telling me the Delta Dental is changing how they do their billing, Delta will now reimburse me and I would have to pay the dental office. I know insurance and what that means and I said to him so you are no longer a contracted provider, to which he replied he is a provider. Big difference. His choice of words were what ticked me off the most. Delta Dental isn't changing how they do billing, he just isn't contracted with them anymore. That's his choice, but his not owning up to the fact that he isn't a contracted provider and that this will cost me more in out of pocket expenses really got to me. I left and now have an appointment with a highly recommend dentist who is a contracted provider.

Hope you like waiting. I went to this dentist for a 12pm appointment. I had to work at 1:30pm so the hour would have conveniently allowed me to go to work after. I even showed up 15 minutes before my appointment to be responsible. Little did I know that all my efforts were worthless, as Aestheticil Family Dentistry did not care at all. I waited for an HOUR. Reason? They let some lady who was 30 minutes late for her appointment skip me. She came in 15 minutes into my appointment schedule (I was there for 30 minutes at this point). They gave some lame apology about why I wasn't going into my appointment despite me being on time. They finally were gracious enough to tell me they were ready...at 12:50pm. I will never be going back, and I will forever warn others against this incompetent establishment.

This dental office is far above any I have ever been to. The entire staff is professional and welcoming. Dr. Roderick is up to date on the latest technology and free with information. On my first visit, I received a complete exam and consultation with Dr. Roderick and went away feeling informed and confident that all my concerns could be addressed. Highly recommended. I wanted to update my post to show how happy I am after my second visit. I received a follow up call the same night from Dr. Roderick to see how I was after my procedure that day. As always, the staff was very courteous and patient in explaining procedures and I went away with no stress. I can't believe the contrast in this dental office and all others I have been to.

I moved to the area about 4 years ago now and I’ve been to several different dentist offices to find my favorite one, and this one is absolutely it. Every single employee there is extremely kind and actually cares about you rather than just your wallet. Also, earlier this year I had to get a cavity filled (which is my nightmare situation since I absolutely freak out with needles and shots) and I simply told Dr. Roderick about my fears which was all he needed to ensure my experience was as pleasant as humanly possible. My dental hygienist (I sadly can’t remember her name) is absolutely the best and she’s very very gentle but also super thorough with whatever I’m getting done. I will never change dentist offices!!

I am very happy i found Doctor Roderick and his Team. I called based on a friend's reference and was extremely pleased with how fast they got me in to resolve my "root canal and crown" issue. i received help to get rid of the pain and they got me in within 24 hours. They have highly trained partner dental offices who represent experts in things like root canals, etc. This is really important. it's like the cardiologist who thinks he can be an expert in blood clots, valve issues, rhythm issues, etc. I like using "experts". Doctor Roderick also has a great manner when speaking to you. And his office staff seems to really care about me as an individual, not a number for billing.

Really disappointing billing experience. This office does not take dental insurance which was misrepresented to me when I called to make an appointment and provided my insurance information. Other dental offices will clearly state they are out of network or that they do not take insurance when asked - instead Aesthetic Family Dentistry simply said they accepted my insurance. When I called about the large bill I received, the front office said they don't tell anyone making an appointment that the office is out of network for all insurances. The misrepresentation in regards to insurance coverage feels untrustworthy & leaves a very bad taste - I won't be going back.

I have accompanied my sister, but this was my first visit as a patient. Dr. R took time to thoroughly understand my dental history and current medical Rx’s. He explained a course of treatment and then proceeded to execute it. Often, during my time “in the chair” I was asked if I had any questions, needed a break or was OK. A sense of caring permeates this office. Everyone I encountered was professional. Their care does not stop when you leave the office. I had what I would consider a simple procedure (no Novocain) but still received a call from Dr. R that evening to check that all was well. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr Roderick and his staff are always professional and helpful. No matter what needs to be done, from a simple cleaning to a crown - going to the dentist at Aesthetic Family Dentistry is always pleasant. Dr. Roderick keeps up with the times: getting a Text Message for your appointment, to signing in on an I-Pad when you arrive at the office, and quickly receiving a text and / or e-mail following your appointment to make sure things went well. The evening of your appointment you will receive a personal call from Dr. Roderick to check on how you are feeling. How many dentists can say that and truly exceed the bar that he has set?

I LOVE THIS DENTIST AND STAFF. I am writing this in support of what I know for a fact, due to a lifetime of experiences with dentists, they actually do care about their patients. They have done more than I could ever thank them enough for offering in good and bad times. I get it, reviews do not persuade you. I rarely give them, but I had to take an early retirement, have no medical or dental insurance due to the loss of income, but I know that I will figure out how to continue going to Doc. Roderick and his supportive staff. Thank you for everything.

Dr Roderick is the follow through dentist! Always making sure your comfortable and explains very well what he is doing so you understand. Staff is top notch as well. What makes his office a 5 star experience is their willingness to cooperate and help you and your family with all your needs anyway possible. I love Dr. Roderick and his staff! Michelle always does a through cleaning and lets me know how I am doing on my at home care. Dr. Roderick is the most awesome dentist I have ever been too see, he always takes his time to speak to you and let you know exactly what is going on with your care. First time patient. The staff was amazing. The DDS was very thorough. I went in for a regular cleaning... and Xray showed I had an infection under a crown. DDS explained the importance of getting that addressed immediately. They got me into see an Endodontic Specialist the same day. I had to have an immediate Root Canal. I’ll be going back in a few weeks to see Dr Roderick to get the crown replaced. Dr Roderick called me at home that night to see how I was doing after the Root Canal. Wow! You couldn’t ask for better care.

Everything is true what you hear and see about these reviews. Dr Roderick is a great guy and I got a good feeling about him the moment I shook his hand (that and he's from the Midwest like me). Went in for a 2nd opinion for my cavity diagnosis. Dr Roderick examed me, used a cavity solution as a test and even had an X-ray done and he said there was NO CAVITIES! Just to think, I could've had my mouth drilled for nothing! I'm not only satisfied w my experience but I'm now a patient of Dr Roderick's. Highly recommend!

The best dentist I have been to! They don’t make you feel bad at all, they give you optimistic solutions. All of the staff is very personable and really friendly! They make the experiences as comfortable as possible. I love that they get right to business. My first appointment they determined I needed a deep cleaning for gum infection. And then we scheduled other work that day! I am finally getting my dental health under control. I’m also pregnant and they are very sensitive and careful! 10/10 recommend

I am a first timer at Aesthetic Family Dentistry. Dr. Roderick is amazing!! I always had horrible experiences at the dentist and for that reason, I avoided them at all cost. Dr. Roderick and the entire team made sure I was comfortable and made my apointment amazing. They were so gently and made sure I was in no pain during my visit. One of the best dentists in the area. I called him at the spur of the moment because one of my crowns fell off (and it wasn't one that he even did), but he had me come in, re-cemented it and made an appointment to get it taken care of the proper way and followed it up with regular visits and cleaning as well as for my daughter. Things were going great till he told me his practice would no longer take Delta Dental insurance. He'd still bill them, but I'd have to make up the difference.
