Update: I thought it should be known for those considering to use this Veterinary BEWARE! they use intimidation tactics when you leave a negative review. I have been going to the clinic for years (over five), with multiple pets and countless visits and not once have I ever complained about their practices or wait times, even when my appointments got pushed. On our about 10 days ago I brought all of my pets in for various services and among the animals was my cat. She has had an inner ear issue so tests were ran and it came back as a bacteria infection. After 10 days of administering the medication, the issue persisted. I called back and asked if I could schedule a follow up and was told the appointment would be discounted by $15, but the fee to look at my cat again was going to be $60 Ish dollars (again saw my cat about 10 days prior, same issue). I mentioned that it seemed weird that I would have to pay again, but said okay and scheduled to have her come in later that day (today) for anther exam. Since I was unhappy with the billing practices, I posted the review above and specified that it was not due to issue with services, but rather the billing practices, especially for long time customer. A few hours later I get a call regarding the review and ranking, the female indicated that the staff felt uncomfortable seeing my cat based off the review and that “trust” needed to be established to move forward with their clients. I questioned why trust was being questioned as I simply posted regarding a billing practice I disagreed with. She explained that the situation should have been addressed prior to writing the review (which I did via the phone) and that they are able to make exceptions, however, I guess in my case they were unwilling to do so. She then pressed again trust was needed in order for me to remain a client, I pointed out several times that I brought the fee issue up at the time of call and I felt I was brushed off, even so, I should be allowed to post a review about billing practices I disagree with; again, I have never once had an issue with the Vet. She compared it to medical insurance – you wouldn’t go into the Dr. again and not expect to pay a cop pay right? I explained I was not looking to get anything for free, I was fully willing to pay for any additional tests needed, however, why should I have to pay another $60 dollars if it’s regarding the same issue less than 10 days ago? Seems like your getting paid to just mis diagnose (I also paid extra for lab testing on the visit to ensure the course of treatment was correct). Co pays are between $10- $25 dollars (based on insurance), not the $60 they are asking for just to see my cat. Rather than refilling the antibiotic or re prescribing another, I was simply told to come in again for more tests. Once I could see the true purpose of the call (wants me to change my review/experience) I asked if they would see my cat, given the fact I still made the appointment and have never refused to pay my bill, and alas the trust issue was brought into the picture again. I said “it seems like you are threatening to drop me if I don’t change my review” in which she replied there was another undisclosed party on the line listening to our conversation that could support she did not say that exact verbiage per say, I questioned the trust on having an undisclosed party in the line (again TRUST) and they determined to drop me as a client. Again, I have been with them for years, always paid my bill and the one time I disagreed with the way their billing practices I was dropped and spoken down to for disagreeing with the way they conduct their billing practices.I would also like to point out I was to be called about my dogs heartworm test and was never contacted with a follow up, shocking how they forgot to do that. You may choose to stay with them or become a client, however, I strongly caution you don't do business with this company as they use intimidation tactics and mask it as establishing trust. If you have had similar issues please leave review!
I have been taking my two pups to this place for a little over a year and have always had great experiences from the very first person I'd be greeted by to the veterinarian himself. To my surprise, this was not the experience I had last visit. I took my almost 2 year old German shepherd in because she hasn't been feeling well. On top of this, she has always had a bit of nervousness with people she doesn't recognize. Her go to reaction to being forced around people she isn't familiar with is squirminess along with feeling the urge to flee the area. Because of this, the vet tech was having a very hard time getting a temperature from her and became frustrated. Just to add, she was not very friendly right off the top. She suggested muzzling my girl which confused me because she was showing no sign of aggression, only squirming around in fear. Is a muzzle the best option to correct this? I'm not sure because no explanation was given for this suggestion. A second tech is brought in who is also tiny in stature as I am so the two obviously struggle. They tell me they need to take her back to get a temperature from her and I can hear them continue to struggle and tell my dog that she's being ridiculous and just sound so frustrated in the words they're sharing with her. I can hear my dog crying and then she's brought back to me. Later in the visit they have to take her back a second time to give her a shot. I can tell the tech is already dreading having to take her again. When my dog comes back to me, she shakes the way a dog does after a bath and sprinkles alcohol on me. I ask myself, what method of application was used to get this alcohol onto her shot sight that she has so much left on her coat that she can then shake off onto me. Needless to say, very unhappy and traumatizing visit for my already anxious girl. The doctor, Jeff Jenkins, was excellent as always but because of how my dog was treated by the techs I will not be back with either of my girls.
I am writing this review with a heart filled with compassion and gratitude. I am grateful for the care and consideration Dr. Jenkins and his staff provided to my dog over the years. I want to share my experience with having to say goodbye to my best friend. It is one that still brings me to tears when I think about it, but I am grateful for the way me and my pet were treated. Monday morning, I brought my dog in to be euthanized. They were ready for me as I rushed her into the hospital. I was heartbroken and sobbing uncontrollably as I said goodbye to my pet. Dr. Jenkins and his staff provided excellent care in her final minutes and treated me with compassion. They were gentle with her and made this difficult process bearable. I cried in the room for an hour after the procedure was over and was checked on multiple times by different employees that had grown to love her too over the years. Lexus was my best friend for 15 years and she always enjoyed our visits to the vet. Everyone there knew her by name. Thank you for everything you have done for us over the years, I am so appreciative.
Heads up, this is going to be part review part me gushing over how amazing the team is. I've had several wonderful experiences from start to finish with A.A.C.H. and honestly this review is overdue. My fiancé has been going to A.A.C.H. since Dr. Jenkins worked there. Dr. Jenkins had been the one vet to actually understand my cat's dietary needs after several years of trial and error, he got it right the first time. Now, I'm really here to talk about Dr. Velazquez. She is an incredible and extremely compassionate Doctor. We recently had a scary situation with one of our babies and she treated him just as if he were her own. She understood the urgency of the situation and took time out of her own day to help us. When my fiancé and I were struggling with at home care, Dr. V and the team took time to show us how to properly handle some essentials. I cannot properly express how safe I feel when taking one... or all four... of our cats over there. Everyone that works at A.A.C.H. is truly an animal lover and it shows.
This is the second time that this clinic has given a price quote far below what they actually charge for service. This time, they quoted $70 for blood work. When I brought my dog in, to get the blood work done, the price suddenly ballooned to $280.20! I was forced to pay quadruple what they quoted me, because the blood work is necessary for surgery that is scheduled in a week. I could not reschedule the blood work and they knew it, so they decided to do a bait and switch. DO NOT request a quote and expect them to honor their quote. THEY WILL NOT. Their service as a vet is decent, but their business practices are horrendous and thus deserving of only one star. UPDATE: After speaking with their management, they credited $109 back to me (so I still ended up paying $161.20 for what they quoted as being $70), so I'll add a star, since they put forth some effort to partially resolve the issue. I am still not happy with them not honoring the original quote for the blood work.
I’m a first time pet owner so I don’t really know the ins and outs of the vet but everyone seemed to be friendly and they were nice during the visit but I don’t appreciate that my visit was paid in full and as I’m leaving was charged extra for services I never asked for and given medication for my dog I never agreed to pay for. Had I been aware of the charges before hand I would of denied. After all was said and done I called to express my issues with this and the staff was rude and offered no solution to the problem. Stating that maybe if you brought it up at check out I could have done something.... excuse me! My visit was paid in full paid in advance your company dropped the ball and was very unprofessional about a solution. Pet owners should be aware of what you are doing before you decide to charge them without notice. I will not be returning to this location.
My lizard is now spending the night in a different animal hospital and near death because of Dr. Jenkins. I took him in a week and a half ago with a bad upper respiratory infection, paid for testing, etc. Never got the results of the tests that I paid for and the treatment Dr Jenkins prescribed was not enough, after several phone calls from me stating that he was worse and him obviously not caring. It is bordering illegal to claim to be an exotic vet when he obviously doesn’t have a clue. I am absolutely devastated. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LIZARD HERE. Update: my lizard has now died and I know for a fact that had he gotten the right treatment he would still be here. All because of the complete negligence of Dr. Jenkins. I am absolutely heartbroken. My experience here was the worst of any vet I’ve ever been to and now I have lost my child.
They are pretty friendly there, but one thing that’s is very bothering is that they are forgetful. I had taken one of my kitties to get surgery, and had asked them to cut her nails because they were a pain to cut, said they would then they didn’t do it. I’ve taken another one of my cats there for her ear infection, I noticed there was stuff on her skin and the doctor told me she’d shave that part of her head to see what was going on, she didn’t do that either. Only cleaned her ears. Spent over $300 on that visit. And you can hear animals from other rooms. I understand this may be hard to avoid but it makes the animals more anxious. You also spend majority of your visit waiting. It’s just hurtful, I care about my kitties and spend so much money just for them to forget simple requests. Ive decided to changed vets. Do better please.
I will NOT be going back. The vet tech (she never told me her name, blonde) was cold, offered no introduction of who she was even though this was our first time in and clearly have options when choosing vets, no one ever told me how old my dog is when I said I'd love to know her age... I wasn't warned when she swabbed my dogs ear with a q tip that it would result in a 34 dollar fee.... I left feeling sad that I just gave them 250 dollars for what felt like a DMV veterinary experience. I will say the front desk person was the highlight. She was kind and compassionate. The rest dismal. Our dog saw Dr. Ray. I also could hear every conversation going on behind our room door. To what other pet owners let their dogs eat to conversations about the cost of scrubs and office changes. Very unprofessional. It's too bad.
Our dog had a wound that got infected. Almost immediately he wasn't eating and in tremendous pain. Our vet wasn't open and the Animal Hospital got great reviews on line. AACH got us in right away and got Boomer out of pain immediately. They cleaned the wound and were extremely loving towards him. They let us know everything that was happening step by step. They also did not try to up sell us on any unnecessary procedures. The Doctor was extraordinary. The front office ladies are always so happy and kind every time you visit and they always love on the animals. Because of how warm, kind, and resonable they are we switched our vet and now only go to Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital. We highly recommend them!
This is our go to resort and Vet needs for our German Shepard Sarge! He gets excited when we bring him here and they are very caring and loving towards or dog. If you Drop off on Friday expect a pickup on Monday because they are closed on the weekends but pricing I say “Can’t be beat!”… You don’t have to bring food and it is included in your stay at but if your pet has a sensitive stomach then you will want to bring them their own food, also a toy and whatever else to make their stay comfy. Choose this pace for your pet resort needs and care! They are truly top customer service for you and your pet! Been using them for 2 yrs now and will continue to do so! We’ll deserved 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We've been taking Max to Dr. Jenkins since I moved here nine years ago. He, and everyone at the clinic, are very pleasant, professional, and kind. They explain things very well, and treat our geriatric dog with tender loving care. You can tell they really are in the business because they love animals and have the innate ability to relate to them. Recently we had to take our dog there for an emergency after a bad experience with a groomer. They got us right in, calmed our fears and treated him so gently. Whenever he's been ill, they always call the next day to check on him. We're moving out-of-state and I hope we can find another vet clinic that equals this one!
I recently moved to Phoenix with my three dogs. They have all had to be seen by a vet for various reasons and I did not care for any of the vets I tried. They seemed more concerned about payment, rather than the health of my furry loved ones. A new neighbor of mine told me that he takes his fur babies to Ahwahtukee Animal Care, so I went. I was so happy with all the love and attention they got from all the staff, from the front desk to the vet tech to the vets. They are my permanent doggie doctors now! Oh! I called ahead on two occasions for a quote, when my visits were done, they were both cheaper than the quote. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
I have 3 dogs, 1 cat and 2 birds and have been coming here the last 20 years. This place is great. I almost always can be seen same day if there is something going on with one of my pets, which I appreciate. I have a very busy work schedule and there have been many times I have called with questions and am always called back promptly. My pet's health and well-being are my priority and are treated as such when they are here. I have also boarded my dogs on many occasions and the experience I have had is always good. I know I can leave my dogs here for as long as I need, and they are well cared for, enjoy activities and have their meds given on time.
I took my cat in for a check up. I loved the service and care of all staff there. My cat needs some dental work done. The medical assistant to the vet could not spell "allergy" correctly, which is concerning. They claim to be an animal care hospital, but on the bottom of the paperwork that was given to me, it states that they are not staffed 24 hours a day. I'm not leaving my cat unattended after dental surgery. It's not responsible. I'm going elsewhere and paying more, to have the respectful amount of care for my animal. The office did call after my appointment to check on the cat, which was very sweet but it's not enough to risk anything.
Ahwatukee animal care hospital is the best ever ! Staffing is absolutely amazing Dr V , and Dr S are both very kind and want nothing but the best when it comes to customers and the furry friends . Stephanie and Zabrina are incredible people they always go out of their way and have excellent customer service ! My family and I have been going to them for over 20 years now . I will never go to any other vet , they are loyal , truthful and honest . Any bad reviews on here may not be true . Highly highly recommend them . My family and pets are loyal to Awhatukke animal care hospital. We thank you all for your hospitality and love . - Tori ❤️
Too bad I have to give them a one star. Had to get my puppy's blood test done. They got the blood, and only minutes later told me that their machines are not working. Worse still they want me to get my puppy subjected to it again with them still not knowing if their machines are fine. I understand things break down, but to ask someone to get their pets blood drawn again just so that they can test if their machines are working is CRIMINAL. What kind of a place subjects animals to unnecessary tests and calls itself an Animal Care facility? SHAME ON THEM. They should be reported. Filing a case against them.
I have to call every month for refills and it takes forever. Went in and spent $300+ dollars in the physical and blood work to know everything is fine. That I understand, but the vet never called in our refills to prevent seizures and now they are not answering their phone on a Friday mid-day Update: I am updating my review to include that Hannah called me the next day and quickly took care of what needed to happen. I was pleasantly surprised that she knew exactly what I was talking about and took into account all information before requesting the new prescription. Thank you Hannah.
This place is unacceptable. to people who have pets. We had an appointment to have 2 cats taken in for euthanasia. A Handy capped person and her daughter brought them in. Many words were exchanged arguing against the Handy capped person. The establishment declined to fill there obligations by saying "we can't euthanize these cats. Even though you can't take them with you. Basically they said your on your own." They gave some very vague information of where they can go. But still I think that this place would be a lot more helpful to there customers. We will never return there again.
They got me and my sick kitty in right way as a walk-in. The vet-tech was fantastic I have never seen my cat respond to a "stranger" the way she did to the very gentle tech. The Vet was the same way, very gentile and caring. They took her back and got her started on treatment and even trimmed her nails for me (she won't let me touch her feet). The vet called me promptly the next day with the results of her test and that what he did the previous day should take care of the problem. She is feeling and acting like her normal self. I will be going there again with all my animals.
Dr. Jenkins is amazing. I live in California and I have a cat that needed to have an ultrasound done. The ultrasound came back that he may have cancer. I was having a hard time understanding the results. I reached out to one of his staff members Stephanie to see if he would be willing to review the ultrasound. Not only did he review the ultrasound, he went above and beyond and answered all my questions and concerns . He was more helpful and responsive then my local vet here in California. I would highly recommend Dr. Jenkins. Thanks again Dr. Jenkins and Stephanie!
First off when I took my dog and last week I still had to stay in the car and a doctor call me from inside I don't want do have to talk to a doctor like I want to see that doctor in person months ago this would have been fine but the CDC has now made several modifications to their policies and this vet clinic is not following the science. Next off every time I go there I feel that they're trying to oversell their services rather than taking the animals care as their first priority I don't feel that this is the case
They take such good care of my Doggos! Moved here a year ago..wouldn't go to ANYBODY else! My dogs need vet care due to chronic issues and the 40 minute drive ( I live in Maricopa) is well worth it! The front office is always prompt and very professional...Samantha is fantastic...and Dr.Valazquez is by far the BEST VET EVER! Always caring...Thank you all for the wonderful care you give my babies! I don't have kids my dogs are my Children! Lol...and they are in the very best care with Ahwatukee Animal Hospital!
Today I took my little kitten Suzy to be seen for what turned out to be a serious respiratory infection and fever. They were able to get us in right away. Let me just say I LOVED how kind and generous the staff was. They were very professional and made the process smooth. I did not feel rushed and they were so good to my baby...it just felt like family. Super friendly. I truly recommend it! they just loved Suzy and got to hold her and give her loves. Thank you so much, y'all are amazing.
Extremely caring people work here. Always paying attention to my dog Sedona before me as it should be. Sedona cracked her left lower canine tooth in half. I didn't hesitate to call and take her to AACH to have her treated. They got her in that morning to have her tooth extracted. They called right when she was out of surgery. Upon picking her up the Vet and Tech went over all of her discharge information with me in a manner I could understand. AACH is the only place for our Sedona.
I always feel comfortable and happy to bring my dogs here for care and have for a number of years now. The Vets and Vet Techs on site are great with my dogs and always communicate all options and what is going on clearly so we can make the best decisions. They also helped bring in a surgical specialist for my dog when he needed knee surgery. Always willing to work with me as well to find a time to get my pups in that works best for me. Highly recommend these guys!
I brought in my cat almost 5 years ago. I had to get her euthanized because These people were too busy treating dogs that got hit by cars to help me. They charged me a stupid amount for her ashes and then spelled our name wrong on all the memorial stuff. I'm still getting emails from these people. You try to opt out and it's some arduous process. I wouldn't bring my animal here again even if she didn't die because they were too busy to treat her.
We took all our pets there for many years, but my husband recently got pet insurance through his employer so we had to switch Vets to use it. Unfortunately, during a hard time with our dog who needed surgery and we didn't have the $1300. we needed a payment plan or a deferred payment for a couple of weeks. ..they under no circumstances, will help in that way. However, the Vets and staff there are wonderful and took good care of my pets.
What would we ever do without Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital and Boarding!?! You feel like your precious fur baby, and yourself, are in the best hands from the moment you walk in the front door. The receptionists, Vet Techs, and the Doctors are friendly, professional, and are there for your pet and you! The boarding area is spotless, with professional care! I highly recommend Ahwatukee Care Hospital and Boarding!
We had an emergency situation with our dog today. We took her over to the vet and they took her in immediately. Mind you we hadn't seen this vet for a few years since we had moved from ahwatukee and they had been seen by another vet, and then we moved back here. They were so wonderful. Our dog had to have emergency surgery and the vet and staff were truly wonderful. I give them five stars plus
We just lost our chihuahua of 12 years and Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital was so caring and quick to help relieve her pain and make her as comfortable as possible. The vet seemed just as upset as we were about the passing of our pet. We will be bringing the rest of our pets to Ahwatukee Animal Care from now on since their availability and prices are better than our last vet clinic.
I personally wouldn't go here again. The place isn't that bad, however they should have been honest with me. My cat was 17 years old, he had high levels of kidney and pancreas, the only options I had were to prolong his life with no guarantee he would make it. I ended up taking him to Petco where they didn't sugar coat it for me. They said he probably only had a few days to live.
I needed to get my dog in quickly after a move due to pain. Shortly after I filled the online form out, I got a call from them. They were able to see him the same day. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. They addressed the problem as well as gave me a plan forward. They also provided me quotes for other animals, which was helpful. A positive experience all around.
Dr. Ray and Dr. Jenkins are wonderful. When I was really worried about my dog they were very caring and sincere, and helped me through the whole process. They even had custom medication made just for my dog. Thanks to their care, my boy is feeling much better! Nothing but the best for my best friend. I would highly recommend AACH to my friends and family.
Absolutely the best staff and Dr.. I had an emergency situation and my regular vets were overbooked.. Dr Jenkins got her right in and operated the following day. She spent the night and he personally went back in at midnight to check on her and update me.. Everyone was outstanding and reassuring and supportive...Thank you for taking care of my Little Emmy
Highly professional and supernice vet doctor and staff. They got us in right away when our dog fell ill and was in great pain. They treated her with the greatest proficiency and sweetest care you could ever hope for, and even gave us a call after 24 hours to see how the dog is doing. This clinic deserves the highest recommendations. Thank you so much!
I was as able to get an appointment in a couple days. I am already an established client. We have four other family members (fur babies) they tend to. Always pleased with the entire experience. Highly recommend. If you get a new family member. I would get in as soon as available so you get established and your pet gets great attention like I have
We went on a longer than normal vacation and wanted to ensure our cats could be seen if they needed anything. Stefanie helped out and took notes on all 3 of our cats. One of which is 21 yes old. She made sure we had everything covered. We have had 5 cats total and you won’t find another more caring Dr in Dr Jenkins or a better staff. Thank you.
We love this vet. We've been coming here for several years now as our primary vet. All the doctors have been very nice and our pups seem to like them. They also have a boarding option in case you're traveling. We haven't used it but have had friends that have and they like it. We will continue coming here since they beat the vet in PetSmart!
Great experience here! My dog needed to get vaccines so he could use the pet resort. The vet was friendly and informative and actually took time to call a couple days later to check up on us. We will be using the resort—you can ask for a full tour of the facility beforehand. Also, very reasonably priced for the vet and the resort. Thanks!!
I am very impressed with Dr. Jenkins and his staff especially his office manager Stephanie. They took very good care of my dog Poppy. They gave me their opinion of what should be done along with all the information I need to make an informed decision. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
My experience here was outstanding. My 17 year old cat was miserable and declining fast, and I came in to have her checked and to consider the worst. The staff was so caring, kind and gentle. The end came for my sweet cat, and it was done with such care and professionalism. We won't go anywhere else for our future vet needs.
Recently relocated to Ahwatukee area, practically next to clinic. Lola has had 2 Vet visits, September & December, had UTI? both visits to my satisfaction! Staff very approachable, friendly, good eye contact, informative, & professional. Very friendly with lola. Highly recommend this clinic, plus a Vet discount.
Pretty pissed that I paid just under $500 to be told that my cat has allergies. They played on my desperation and being a new cat mom. They saw $$ signs when they saw me, and even when I expressed my financial concerns they still manipulated me into a ridiculously large bill. Be careful when going here.
Really can't recommend enough. Everyone is really friendly. Every time I visit I really get the feeling that the whole staff cares for the well-being of my dog. The boarding service is great as well. My dog doesn't want to leave when I pick her up. It's also very reasonable for the level of service.
One of my dogs is actually thrilled every time she gets to go here because she loves the staff so much. My other dog, much more cautious about strangers, isn’t as excited but is no longer afraid. Every single person who works here is great and seems to love their job and every pet that’s part of it.
Beyond 5 stars!! Staff is always friendly, kind and courteous. My two Rottweilers always have all their needs meet, if they are there for a check up or boarding. Ask for Stephanie, she’ll make you feel welcome, no matter what you and your animal are going through. Best animal hospital!!
Hands down the best veterinarians ever! I'd never take my furbabies anywhere else. They are always treated with so much love, care, and patience. I've been bringing them here for years and one of the reasons we bought our house in Ahwatukee was to be close to their doc.
Absolutely love this clinic and staff! Dr. Velazquez Lugo is always so nice and caring with me and my animals, and answers all my questions very thoroughly. Thank you all so much for the great care, would definitely recommend Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital!!
Welcoming, competent and compassionate. I am thankful to the helpful team who aided me in the very hard decision I had to make regarding my animal. Profesional and courteous, I couldn’t have asked for a better staff during this difficult visit. Much thanks.
The doctors are truly caring people. They spend the time to talk with you and even called me twice to see how my beagle was doing. We live in Chandler but we drive the 10 miles to this vet because of the quality of the service and knowledge of the doctors.
Full-service facility with vets, long-term boarding, and short-term day-care. On our fourth dog with these folks, so they have earned our trust. Compassionate high quality vets, techs, and front desk. Their web site contains useful pet care information.
My family and I have been bringing our pets here for over a decade, they literally could not care less- made no effort to fit my very sick cat in. I know it's short notice, but why have a family vet you are committed to for no accomodation whatsoever?
The staff here is amazing. Always so friendly and our dogs love coming here because the people are so friendly to them. Dr. Herzegh and Dr. Jenkins are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Very happy to have these folks care for my puppies.
Jeff jenkins is more concerned with selling you special creams and overpriced sprays and pointless visits than giving your animal what it actually needs. Used to be a great place but everyone who was originally here is gone now. Shady place.
Pathetic place for animal care. Took blood out of my animal when they knew their equipment is faulty and worse still expected to take more blood without any assurance that the equipment is fixed. What kind of a place engaged in such
This is a great vet - nice people who clearly care about their jobs, clean rooms, reasonable prices. They're consistently transparent about prices before doing anything, which is great. They also have on-site boarding and a pharmacy.
Dr. Jenkins and his staff are amazing. They really go out of their way to provide affordable care for your pet, and truly love animals. They are the best veterinary office I've ever visted, and are super friendly every time we go in.
Dr. Ray is great! Got us in quickly, thanks to a cancellation and really took care of my pup. I also find this place is reasonably priced. You can tell they truly care about you and your pets. I am so glad I switched to this place!
We have been going there for 20+ years. Now they will administrator shots you tell them not to and give you wrong meds but will charge you anyways. This used to be a great place when Dr Jenkins was there but it sucks now.
Such loving care of my furbaby Luke. Dr. Velasquez treated him & gave me more orecious time with him. Then when it was time to say goodbye they were so caring & loving. I will forever be thankful to the staff there.
My husband and I went their today with our dog Bella and had the best experience! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions! I'll will definitely be coming here from now on …
This place is awesome. Everyone is an Angel in my opinion. When nobody would even see my pup because of covid-19 these people made the exception. They saved my dogs life. I can't say enough good about them.
My wife and I took our chow chow here to be seen by Dr Jenkins for his ear ache, on 1/16/19. The staff and the Doctor were courteous and professional. I highly recommend taking your pet/family member here
We have been taking our pets here for their care for years. We have continued to use this facility even after moving to a town further away. It is worth the drive for the level of quality and care.
Staff and Dr. H. amazing!!! My dogs have been patient's of theirs for 5 years and have been nothing but amazing with my fur babies!!! They truly care about their patients. Bebe, Scruffy, and Gizmo.
The people at Awatukee Animal Care Hospital take care of your pet like it was their own. They treat pets with all the love and care you could ever ask for, I would never take my dog anywhere else.
I've been using Ahwatukee Animal Care for over 32 yrs. Since they were on 51st & Elliott! "Dr Tanya Geisbush", Dr Herczegh & Dr Jenkins were the ONLY Veterinarians I'd allow to treat my animals!
We have been taking our dog to Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital for years. The team is knowledgeable, direct, compassionate and helpful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a vet in the area.
They are amazing and so sweet. They took great care of my baby girl when she needed emergency surgery. We will definitely continue to go back to this animal hospital. 10/10 would recommend.
My cat was the patient today. The staff and the Doctor took excellent care of him and were very thorough. We worked out a treatment plan for my cat's health issues to my satisfaction.
This place is awesome and actually really helpful. I previously wrote a review that I meant to post about “Ahwatukee Commons Veterinary Hospital” not “Ahwatukke Animal Care Hospital”.
Very reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable and good with the pets and the owners! They kept us informed during the surgery and followed up the next day to make sure our pup was okay.
The service is great..I would recommend you take your dog there. Very caring staff and the Vet that saw my Cloe was very caring and also his assistant. I will take her there again.
The staff is friendly and have helped us on numerous occasions with our husky. Very professional and don’t pressure you into unnecessary procedures or tests. Definitely recommend!
They treat animals well, are friendly and don't gouge you. Free follow up visits. Good staff and pretty convenient. This place DOES have services for exotics. Call ahead though.
Dr. Jenkins is very professional, caring, and fair. I've been taking my pets for over 7 years and have always experienced excellent service from everyone at this practice.
Was in town visiting, dog had issues and they were able to get her in quickly, schedule surgery and take care of my little girl....even called to follow up the next day.
Over the years and many dogs the Vets and Staff here have cared for our family members with compassion and expertise! We are so grateful to have them in our community!
I can’t explain how grateful I am with the staff and Veterinarian that attended Scruffy! They truly care for their fur-baby patients! Thank you for saving my Scruffy!
Nice place with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Only passing through the area or I would consider making this out permanent vet for our friendly dog and grumpy cat
We're happy with the care provided to our chihuahua. Friendly people and they communicate well. They took their time and allowed me to ask the questions I had.
After being with Dr. Jenkins for last 20 years, I was skeptical bc I don’t like change but Amazing new doc and staff!! Definitely are new home!! Thank you!!
Absolutely love this animal hospital. The entire staff is so helpful, caring, and patient. Thank you for taking care of my pets as if they were your own!
Great people, friendly, caring, and thoughtful. They took care of my dog and gave him his shots. They did well and had plenty of treats for my fur baby.
This vet is malicious. Will give you bad advice if it helps them sell product. Beware. Dont believe the fake reviews they are leaving for themselves
The best vet around!!! Staff is friendly, doctors are competent and kind. Your pet will be well taken care of!!! My pup thinks they're the best!!!
We have been bringing our two dogs here for over a year and we couldn’t be happier! The vet truly cares and the staff is very helpful and kind.
The staff and support team are amazing there. Always do their best to help and support the needs of the pet family. Thank you for all you do.
Staff is super friendly and welcoming! The staff here is very accommodating. Everyone should come here! By far the best vet ive been too!
They are very caring! Everyone treats you with smiles and like you are family. They were amazing with our precious puppy. A+ to infinity!
I take my guinea pig here to get a nail trim. Every visit is quick and pleasant. Staff is very friendly.
We love Dr. Jenkins and the Ahwatukee Animal Care Hopital. We have been going there for years.
They are so nice to my dogs...one had a tumor removed from her eyelid and she had great care.
The best people, giving the best animal care and boarding, in AZ. TY from Carol and Andy.
Staff is always professional, polite and listens to your concerns. Very passionate staff.
Everyone is very nice there! I recommend this place for all your veterinarian needs.
Very friendly and very helpful. Got us in quick and my pup liked them too!
Excellent staff and facilities. They really care about my dog!
