as the owner has not read or is choosing to ignore an amendment in my recent review i've decided to do the whole thing again with a few more add ons. booked aintree roofing to replace one broken tile, add approx 3 square ft of roofing felt & approx a 3ft length of batten at a cost of £150. the lads duly arrived at the alloted time 10-55am, they were finished & gone by 11-10am as is shown on the outdoor security camera, a total of 15minutes. this equates to £10 per minute which i find quite extortionate as the materials used were not gold plated. needless to say i won,t be recommending aintree roofing to family & friends. hi Arthur, further to your response. yes we did agree a price. but we also agreed on a few other things, A- broken tile replacement, B- felt renewal & C batten to be replaced removing the rotting part of said batten. on inspecting my camera further i seen no evidence of the lads bringing a length of batten from the van, so just to be sure i asked my next door neighbour to check his camera. on both cams it shows the lad bringing the felt & tile but no batten or tenon saw to remove rotted part of batten although he did get a hammer, this i presume was used to partly lift the rotting batten so he could get the felt underneath as he would'nt have been able to saw the rotting batten out with a hammer. also it shows him taking the old tile to your van but again no length of rotted batten. AS I'M NOW 99.9% CERTAIN THE ROTTING SECTION OF BATTEN WAS NOT RENEWED I INVITE THE OWNER TO COME AND INSPECT THE REPAIR HIMSELF. WE'LL DO THIS WITHOUT REMOVING ANY ROOF TILES AS WE'LL INSPECT FROM THE LOFT SPACE WHICH IS BOARDED. I WILL GET A STANLEY KNIFE & CUT THE FELT TO EXPOSE THE BATTEN. IF THE BATTEN HAS BEEN REPLACED THEN I WILL JUST REPAIR THE CUT WITH FLASHING TAPE. I WILL ALSO RETRACT MY REVIEW & APOLOGISE TO AINTREE ROOFING. IF IT HAS'NT THEN I EXPECT AINTREE ROOFING TO RETURN & DO THE JOB I PAID FOR.

After experiencing poor advice and service from another local roofer and continued problems with our roof we came across Aintree Roofing Services on Google. Arthur came out the following day, he took photos of the issues and explained them thoroughly. He sent us a quote for the work which we were very happy with so we booked in for the following week. Everything was confirmed via email including the cost, date and time of the booking. On the day, Arthur and his team arrived early, they completed the work efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. After experiencing poor customer service elsewhere, we were very impressed. We have already recommended Aintree Roofing to family and wouldn't hesitate to use them again should we have any other problems. Thank you for such a great service!!

Following the recent heavy rain i had an leak from my ceiling into my living room. I rang Aintree roofing who came out the next day and did their best to fix the dorma roof temporarily while sorting out a quote. I was not charged a callout fee and they did not have to try to sort a temporary fix but they did. Arthur rang me with the quote the next day, it was a very reasonable quote considering what they had to do to fix the damage. The work is now done, the team arrived at 8am this morning and did not stop working, they were friendly and professional. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends. I would not hesitate to contact them again, thank you Arthur and team!

Contacted 7 Roofing Companies to undertake the repairs to our Chimney Stacks, Roof and Ridge Tiles 4 didn,t bother to get back to me, 2 turned up and had a look from ground level and only 1 of those gave a quote. Arthurs Lads turned up and actually got on the Roof to see what the problem was which in itself goes a long way as its always baffled me how you can give a quote when you haven,t looked at the problem. Arthur provided a very competative price and undertook the works. The lads worked in horrible conditions but got on with it and completed the works in more than good order. More than happy to recommend Arthur and his team. Alan

My Roof had done it's job since the 1930s but it was now more economic to replace rather than repair. I called Arthur who came promptly to do an Inspection, he gave me several options including a complete roof replacement, I went for that option. He gave me a start date and a very reasonable price. The team turned up on time and got straight into the job. They worked hard and did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. The communication throughout was great .I was Impressed and would highly recommend them .

Not sure who they're paying for these reviews, far from the standard they're making out. 3times work was meant to start without anyone showing at my home. Not once was I called or messaged to inform me of any delays to starting, each time I had to email and call myself multiple times to get a response. Awful customer service, if you need work done in a reasonable time or think you should be notified of changes to timescales at the very least I'd definitely keep looking. 1star is too good a rating really.

ARS replaced our large clay-tile roof last winter. Some other firms had found the task too big to quote for, but Arthur (the owner) wasn't fazed by the scale and provided a very fair quote. The finished work was excellent - we were very pleased indeed. The key to this firm's reliability is Arthur himself, who made sure that everything was done, and all problems sorted out, to his and our complete satisfaction. We learned about ARS from a personal recommendation, and would now recommend them ourselves.

Had Aintree Roofing Services come in to put right what so many other roofers had got wrong. Had a chimney stack removed and retiled also had a dry verge system renewed. The quality of work is spot on really pleased with the end result and competitively priced. All the lads that worked on the job were lovely and really hard working, they left everywhere spotless. Would use again and i highly recommend Aintree Roofing Services.

Had repairs done on my roof by these guys and was made up with them. From the initial inspection to completing the repairs they were nothing but professional. I had a few quotes for the works and was impressed by the reasonable price and mainly the feedback and info about the issues with my roof. I have recommended this company to a couple of friends since.

I would highly recommend! Arthur come out inspected and come back with what was required! Lads on time and after the job was completed came back himself to make sure I was happy with the standard! Arthur and his team were fantastic. He gave me a reasonable quote for replacing 3 skylights. They also carried out a couple of extra jobs at no extra cost. They cleaned up after them and took away all detritus. All the lads and Arthur were really friendly and very polite. I would highly recommend them.

Phoned Aintree Roofing just before Christmas as we had a leak in the roof above the main bedroom, came out within a couple of days, told me it was only a small job, did it in no time, good lads, minimal charge, really well pleased, would certainly recommend.
