We used Taylor Roofing after Peter knocked on our door while driving by and advised of some slipped tiles and ridge in need of repointing. He wasn't pushy, but quickly gave a quote and said he was able to come back that afternoon and weekend to get it done. He came back as promised on both occasions, with a heads-up text of when he was on his way. Jobs were done in a timely manner and the driveway was cleaned up. He was even able to block up a gap where pigeons had been nesting in the roof and clean the gutters while he was up there. We've had a number of roofers and tradesmen in general needing to be constantly chased or completely ghosting us. Peter's communication was friendly, proactive, and he took the time to explain the work being done. He was even able to complete a non-roofing job to dismantle and remove two large sheds from the garden, saving us the cost of a skip. All of the work he did for us was during an insane heatwave!! Peter didn't moan and was courteous the whole time, even though we were asking for it to be done ASAP. Will definitely use him again when needed.

**read update below** So glad I came across Peter! I'd been let down by 2 other "reputable" roofers for weeks and been messed around for ages before I found Taylor Roofing and wish I'd just come here first! Came out within a few days to assess the works (leaks coming through the ceilings in 2 bedrooms) and facetimed me to walk me through all the repairs (chimney and ridge repointing, replacing tiles, new eaves) sent a price over and within a few days it had all been done incl. scaffolding. Super responsive and seems really honest, which after being messed around for so long was such a relief to get someone genuine. He videoed the finished works too which was great. Has reassured me it's all watertight now so all will be good, highly recommend and would definitely come back for any future work. 5 month update - roof has started leaking again in the same place and can't get in touch with Peter. Seems to have vanished off the face of the earth, very disappointing.

Peter came to repair my leaking roof and advised that I needed various things doing at the charge of £700. Whilst repairing the roof he found another problem with the veluxs that cost me £450 . Stupidly I paid him up front by cash and bank transfer.The night he left my roof leak was as bad as ever and I tried to ring him to come back . He made various excuses and lied that he would be there next day on about five occasions.he ignored my calls and texts.Three weeks later still waiting for him to return I have had to get someone else to look at my roof and he repaired it properly at a fraction of the cost and told me I'd been very overcharged. So no I'd not recommend this company and sorry I ever got in touch with them and he was definitely not local to l18 as apparently he listed as mather avenue but didn't know where booker avenue was. Total fraud stay clear.

Awesome Lad! Had issues with my gutters and saw Peter's van parked across my driveway sorting out my neighbour's roof/gutters. Was a bit sceptical at first to approach him because like they say, most of these contractors just want to take your money and do a rubbish job. To cut the long story short, Peter sorted out my leaking gutters and even cleaned the gutters as well. I had paid my window cleaner to clean the gutters 2 weeks earlier but did rubbish. Many thanks Peter, you did an awesome job and I will definitively recommend you to friends. My gutters are no longer leaking. Keep up the quality service mate!

They did a great job of a general summer roof overhaul and repointing of brickwork. Replaced about 8m of badly installed flashing, replaced missing flashings, reseated the ridge tiles, sealed a section of flat roof, repointed the chimney and patched up a lot of missing pointing around the walls. The bill for three days work by a team of three or four people was very reasonable. Peter is very knowlegable about his work and is a strong team manager which inspires confidence. The team were all very polite and cleaned up immaculately.

Brilliant service, Peter came round on the same day I called and gave me friendly advice with no pressure. We needed ventilation tiles fitting in the roof to stop damp, the ridges repointing plus a few broken tiles changing. In the space of a few days Taylor Roofing had arranged the scaffolding, carried out all the needed work and arranged to have the scaffolding removed. Quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend this team for any roof repair. We had quite significant repairs needing to be dealt with. Taylor roofing came out within a day, took videos of all issues so we could see what was needed and then provided a very reasonable quote. Two men arrived, on time, to repair gutters in a most difficult position over my conservatory. They tried to use ladders and eventually succeeded with a set of long ones. Nothing was easy and they persevered for a considerable time. They eventually executed a thorough repair with a water test at a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends

We employed these clowns to repair a leaking flat roof. Talked the talk left us with more leaks than before. Tried numerous phone calls,text messages and voice mail. He kept promising to come back when the weather dried up. I've now had to replace two ceilings and get the shoddy roof replaced again. Stay well away. I would not recommend these at all

A flat roof at high level was letting in water. Peter came at quite short notice and carried out repairs with another worker. He kept us informed about progress, sending us videos of before (dreadful; holes, loose pointing and flashing and even a small tree) and after (wonderful; all repaired and sealed). I would definitely use this company again.
