Beautiful park located in Currie Barracks. Lots of open area for kids to run around and the whole park is on a soft rubber floor, no gravel or wood chips. There are several play structures; the aircraft control tower, climbing structure, airplane, and a lot of smaller play items like a 4 person teeter totter, small airplane rockers and a spinning platform. All of which are pretty easy to use, even for little tots. There are also 2 large swing sets and los of nice benches surrounding the park to sit on. There are also a few shaded areas because of the beautiful trees in the park itself. Parking is streetside and there is plenty of parking. There are no washroom facilities however. Overall a great place to spend a few hours with the family.

The central part of the playground is still roped off due to Covid19. The rest of the playground is open though. The airport theme is always popular with the kids. The parking here is ok. It can take some time to find a decent spot but at least it is free. A cool feature is the solar powered seating area that has a plug in for phones or laptops. That is a pretty nifty feature for parents waiting at the table while their kids play.

This playground is awesome. It is open concept in that everything is quite spread out and allows space for kids to run between each section. There's also no gravel! Huge win! There are baby swings, slides and a fun spinning seated-go-round. The park also has fencing to keep kids from running into the neighborhood. Great design!

Fun airplane themed park with slides, swings, airplane looking rocking horses, a teeter totter, and even a merry go round. Rubber squishy ground which is soft in case of a fall. Plenty of seating with some of it in the shade. Sign says for ages 5 to 12, but younger kids have a great time too.

I use to take the kids here often. It is more suitable, and fun for my 4 year old. Not alot of options for older kids. At the moment there is alot of construction looks like they are expanding Limited parking near the park. You can find parking down the road . …

Pretty fun place. Great for our 3 yr old. Benches could be found to sit. Very busy on wknd. Parking difficult. Area has very narrow streets so be careful driving. Some cranky parents and kids. Weird. Its play time ppl. Just chill and enjoy. Maybe that was a one off.

One of Calgary's better playgrounds. Lots of older kid structures, lots of jiggly stuff for toddlers. Lots of free on street parking. Plenty of mature trees and benches for shade as well. Currently in a construction zone. Really recommend.

So much fun!! We never know which thing to start on. The awesome steep slide, the climbing airplane, one of the multiple spinners, or the plane wobblers. I enjoy so much my kids running from one thing to the other with extreme excitement!

Fantastic playground with an airport theme. Lots of interesting areas for kids to play and a great central climbing/sliding area. Some accessible swings and an accessible merry-go-round type thing that kids can sit on.

Nice hidden little playground for nearby families. You won't drive by it, but locals of the surrounding few streets enjoy it. Worth the walk past the other nearby playgrounds in the area.

Great playground, nicely airplane themed. There are a few picnic tables and benches. Nice green space surrounding the area. Plenty of shade areas. Limited parking and no public washroom.

This park is amazing for kids between 3 and 6. It's a very original concept with the slides coming from the tower. They feel like the are in the control tower from Paw Patrol

Themed playground, everything is new, has a good variety of play things and a tower structure with different types of slides. This playground is worth travelling to.

What a really nice playground. They even have a merry-go-round! It's slow but fun for the small ones. I can see this as a nice place to picnic when summer comes.

My boys love this playground! It is big and open. Easy to spot them from any point. Parking is right there so i can even see them while i unload the car.

Main tower is still closed off. Not sure when it'll be fully open. Unattended older kids having trouble being socially distant. But the park is great.

As of June 18, 2020 the slide tower is still closed! Ridiculous, come on Canada Lands. Get this playground fully opened!

Took my toddler here for a fun summer afternoon. Safe playground with ample space for the little one to run around.

The kids love this playground. There are nearby bike paths, swings for big kids and little kids and a huge slide!

Excellent playground especially for toddlers things to touch and do as well as climb, swing, spin, and slide on.
