While checking in our bags we unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with Hilda from Alaska Airlines. We have been traveling with Alaska for years now, at least twice a year and we have always had an excellent experience. Today unfortunately I had a horrible experience with Hilda from Alaska airlines. While checking in our bags she was very rude and sarcastic with all of her comments. What upset us the most was when Steve, also from Alaska airlines joined Hilda at the front to help her with our bags. That was when the side comments began where I heard comments regarding us and laughing amongst themselves while whispering to shush. When we had questions, Hilda seemed very annoyed to have to answer them and explain certain things to us. It was very clear that she does not like her job or at-least have enough respect for her job to provide decent customer service. Same goes with Steve who did not help and instead made us feel horrible by making fun of us. I hope that no one has to go through this again with them as it is the perfect way to ruin someone’s trip.

The return flight was a bit better and smoother, however 2 hours into that flight the bathrooms had no water, this airline is a joke with it's broken down planes!

Encountered the most helpful staff member this morning. I had a separate flight from my family, but went to the airport super early with them. Carlos, he was the sweetest ever. Instantly approached us with the kiosk to assist us with any questions. Quickly guided us as we struggled with 4 kids. There was 8 of us and he was very patient as we scrambled to get everyone checked in. Mind you, it was at 4am and he was so pleasant and professional, not moody/angry at all as you would expect from someone in the early A.M. Thank you kindly Carlos. You’re the best! It gets three stars only because the gate agents are very nice. Aside from that, the airline itself is no different than any other. If your flight is canceled, don't expect anyone to go even a little out of their way to help you out. I had to stay overnight in Seattle because a canceled flight forced me to miss my final destination flight. I was told that if the airline was out of hotle vouchers when I arrived, that I had to pay for the room myself and then get reimbursed up to "$100". Ever try to get a walk-in reservation at SEATAC for $100? You've probably seen more unicorns.

It’s not a coincidence that the airlines would charge you for the seat and for seat upgrades which is they call it business class. I have not been able to get my seat instead I have given new seat all the way to the back (21c). I am so disappointed by the the service I received from the lady at the gate right before I board the plane. That’s insane and not even close to get a value response from the lady. Well over all it’s last minute ticket that I found but not happy that I was thrown all the way at the back next to the closet.

I think this airline its staff is racist. she was carrying a normal suitcase that she had already paid for. but they made me feel sorry for stopping me and saying that my suitcase was wrong, I had to wait for all the passengers to pass and let me pass at the end. Where in the end my carry-on bag was able to fit into the compartments. What a disappointment. I do not recommend this airline for Cultures in the midst of whites...

Boarding gate for Honolulu destination. The travelling season heading to the paradise is starting. There are several families with small children. The flight is pretty full as announced by Alaska Airlines staffs. We love Alaska Airlines with their mileage program and its One World alliance. We always book Alaska Airlines first whenever we go.

Had a direct flight to Puerto Vallarta which was great! On way back had a long layover in San Diego. Alaska Airlines does NOT have a skybar which made for a lousy trip back from a good vacation.

The worst customer service! They cancelled our flight, then rescheduled it a day early, then delayed the flight and then agent at the airport yelled at us!
