From the initial communication to the video conference with the selected assessor (Rachel in WA) to the supply of two offers and the follow up with her until a final selection was so easy. The quote was well below another well known packer / mover, so a no brainer. Insurance is just a huge headache regardless of which company is chosen. The only time I felt nervous was when the parent company contacted me with an invoice and requested payment. To avoid this unecessary nervous situation it would be better to clarify the financial situation prior to the parent company contacting the customer, and explain that they are based in Manila, or at least outside Australia. Another issue that was unecessary was the attitude of some man passing through your Wingfield office when I was picking up packing material. He rudely pointed to his Hi Vi vest and asked where mine was. I assume he believed I was either an Allied team member or a contractor. Why did he simply just ask me politely if I was a customer. Very rude and unecessary. The scheduler was great as were the packers, movers and unpackers. The timing was very early and as a 73 year old I was completely exhausted after two very early and long days, possibly Allied could give Seniors a bit of a break with the hours. At tge same time I appreciate that you have to run your business as efficently as possible. As I am still unpacking I hope that the final stage of picking up empty packing material will go efficiently. I also assume that I will be sent a final report comparing the estimated volume compared to actual?

The entire process from start to finish went smoothly. All staff that we dealt with were friendly and professional. Having to do my own packing, was something that has really put me off moving in the past away from Adelaide, so having someone else do the packing for me was a huge relief. The packing was done on the Thursday with everything then loaded in a container and taken away on the Friday. All we had to worry about was what we needed to transport with us in the car to keep us going until everything arrived two weeks later in Palm Cove, Qld. Allied Pickford could also arrange transportation of our cats! We had previously been told some horror stories regarding how much it would cost us to transport our household across Australia. When we received our quote for the move, it came back at almost half what we had been told by other people. It worked out a lot less expensive than leaving everything behind and buying all new furniture. The biggest worry I faced was that our delivery was planned for Friday 23rd December, so if anything went wrong, we could face the Christmas holiday break with no furniture. As promised our container of furniture arrived and was unpacked on the 23rd. December. I would highly recommend Allied Pickford to anyone contemplating a hassle free move.

The Allied guys did a super job moving us over a recent 2 day weekend transfer, being efficient, helpful, and friendly. Nothing was too hard for them, they were just the best! lm so glad we chose Allied Pickfords starting with their total professionalism quoting, and follow through to get us started. heyall made this very stressful lifechanging event so much more manageable and easier! In a huge move of our home contents in siburban Adelaide, to delivering into a city apartment, luckily with easy access outside truck parking l'd reserved a close proximity lift near our apartment door, the team worked like a "6 team delivery conveyor belt"! Not one item was damaged! Luckily they only had to use the fire escape once or so for carrying up our larger long sofa up on flight of stairs! They were great, nothing broken whatsover and all done in timely manner. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again and recommend them to my family and friends! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Please cascade this to the guys for us. We moved with Allied in January 2023. The uplift removalists were rude, complained about the weight of the furniture and dropped our brand-new TV through lack of care. When our furniture arrived, there was damage to a number of items, again clearly through lack of care, that required a claim on our moving insurance provided by Allied. While our claim was eventually approved in mid-February, it is now mid-April and the payment is yet to be processed. No-one will respond to our emails or phone calls and when we do catch one of the team off-guard, they blame technical issues and are told they will have to look into it and get back to us...but never do. The whole process has been stressful and extremely time consuming. I am not one to write bad reviews, in fact I try to celebrate great service as much as possible, however we have been shocked with how poor the service has been and still have no resolution... I hope this review provides constructive feedback that assists Allied with improving the customer service for future customers. I also hope our insurance claim is settled expediently from here...

We relocated from a 4 bedroom home in Auckland back to Adelaide. The move commenced in November 2020 and after 6.5 months in their opinion it is now completed. In the process we have lost a carton of clothes and they have destroyed a BBQ that was in a near new condition. After under quoting for our move from Auckland in November last year, once we had arrived in Australia we were told they underestimated the volume of our goods; we were told to pay an increased fee or they couldn't guarantee a quick transfer of our goods. We promptly paid and here we are 6.5 months later as described above. Their National Operations Manager doesn't want to know, in fact when I emailed him today he mistakenly copied me in to an email to his team saying "If he contacts anyone again, refer him to me". I was simply seeking compensation for the lost and damaged goods. I wasn't rude in anyway. In short this business treats its customers with contempt. This is the 2nd time I have used them for an international move; my mistake for giving them a second chance. Avoid!!!

After reading a number of reviews online and comparing the prices of a few removal companies Alison and I decided to relocate using the services of Allied Pickfords. We were relocating from Adelaide to the Mid North Coast of NSW and we had an estimated 2 shipping containers. All of the staff from Allied Pickfords were so helpful and very accommodating. The consultants, the admin staff the onsite removalists were brilliant. We were kept informed of progress and everything went so smoothly. This is our tree change as we transitioned to retirement. Allied Pickfords made the transition easier. We are still unpacking boxes as I write this review but we have only been here 2 weeks. We used the crews from Wingfield SA for the uplift and Toormina for the drop off. Very happy and I highly recommend Allied Pickfords

Allied pickfords is great and made my move from SA to QLD super easy and stress free. Both removal teams (Adelaide & Brisbane) were great to deal with, professional and efficient. The sales rep (Jeremy) came to our unit twice to make sure we were quoted accurately which was really appreciated! most of the other companies ask you to provide a self estimate which can be grossly inaccurate. All our belongings arrived on time and absolutely nothing was damaged! These guys are very competitively priced (rung around to get a few quotes, they had the best prices).They also have a cardboard collection service at destination which is an added bonus! Moved from Adelaide to Brisbane end of July/early August! Would definitely recommend and use them again!

They damaged our screen door and refused to take responsibility. According to the operations manager - at some stage between the movers moving heavy objects passed the door for a few hours and us noticing the damage, some nefarious stranger came up and kicked the door so hard that it damaged it. This strange evil doer didn't vandalise anything else - just the corner of the screen door. This stranger also had a really pointy foot that finished at about a right angle. It couldn't have accidentally been any of the guys moving heavy objects back and forth past the door all day because that would make too much sense and then the office would probably have to stamp a piece of paper or something.

First, if I go back to October 2020, Allied did my removal from to South Australia and in short they were great. Most recently I reallocated to Victoria from South Australia. The quote consult process was good. Whilst Allied did a virtual inspection there cubic metre quote was just as accurate as the sales people who physically attended from other removalist. Allied were flexible in meeting my pick up & delivery times and the sales team worked with Operations to confirm they could achieve my needs. Pick went well and they were able to accomodate delivering a day earlier than scheduled at my request. Nothing lost or broken. Great service and good value for money.

Allied were constantly in contact whilst trying to book our move, and sadly continued calling us to finalise payment even though we already had, using the link they had supplied and we had sent a receipt of payment. The movers were friendly enough but we had several items broken and escalated it to insurance claim and they haven’t even bothered to reply. We’ve also requested repeatedly that they collect the boxes they supplied and they are also ignoring that request. Seems they’re only professional when they want your business but not when it comes to holding up their end of the agreement. Very disappointing and sadly won’t be using Allied again

Moved interstate with Allied this week (April 2022). Uplift was good but reassembly and drop off service poor. They did a half job and told me another team would come the next day to complete the job. This 2nd team never came and there was no communication to update from Operations despite my multiple calls to my move manager. The result was around 80 boxes unpacked and furniture not completely assembled. All this while having to juggle 3 young kids. This was the reason I paid for the all inclusive package but never got full value. I will be requesting for a refund for services not provided in full. Poor moving experience and very disappointing.

This is the second time we have utilised Allied to move house and couldn't recommend them more highly. Matt came out to give us an on-site quote within 24 hours and always responded promptly to my emails moving forward. Today our movers arrived early and were ready to begin packing before the estimated arrival time which was great. We really appreciate that our bed was disassembled and reassembled to a high standard, as well as our washing machine being connected at the other end. All of our items arrived in the same condition as they had been packed which I expected from our previous transit. Highly recommend!

I had a small amount(2cubic metres) of household goods moved from SA to Qld. Right from my initial phone enquiry to having the goods delivered I have been extremely impressed with the customer service I experienced. Communication was by far the best I have experienced in a long, long time. All goods arrived in excellent condition, no breakages and arrived in less time than predicted. I would highly recommend Allied without any hesitation. Thankyou Allied. You made it so easy right from the start and as I said I am extremely impressed with service I received, something that doesn’t happen very often these days.

Customer service wise, allied were amazing from the get go. Unfortunately though my 55inch tv was broken beyond repair even though it was heavily wrapped in bubble wrap, cardboard, airbags and wrapped with "Fragile" packing tape. Also packed just as tight was my dogs ashes which were spilled inside of a box somehow. My only other gripe is with the contractor CEVA who Allied contracted for carrying my car. It was dropped off 2.5 weeks prior to us moving and it still took a week after my arrival for me to have my car which ended up costing me hundreds in ubers whilst in a new city.

When moving house, you pay for what you get. Allied really took care of me and were extremely mindful of the fact that I was really stressed and anxious about moving. The removalists assigned to my job were professional and friendly. They were also reassuring and kind and I felt really safe and confident during the move. They put all the cartons in the correct areas. More importantly, Matthew Thompson who deals with sales has excellent customer service. He reassured me every step of the way and was incredibly communicative.

I moved my all home stuff from Adelaide to Tasmania Adelaide team is excellent . Tasmanian team was highly unprofessional, didn't fixed or partially fixed some furniture and they get a angry and become frustrated when highlight. They are using lot of vulgar world inside the house to communicate to each other while job going on and very unpleasant to stay inside They leave the house even without formal notice with incomplete jobs. Not recommending to get Tasmanian service at all.

First time using allied to move interstate and I couldn't recommend them enough! Friendly helpful service. Special thanks to Matt from Adelaide, what an amazing guy, his packing skills are awesome. Very polite professional and careful with all our items. On the other end, on the Gold Coast, the crew that came to unpack the truck were fabulous, went above and beyond. Hopefully I'll not be moving again but if I do, I'll definitely be using Allied Pickfords.

Brilliant, fast working and polite. We have now had two containers go with Allied Pickfords in the last few months and the staff packing container were very quick and careful. Equally the Allied Pickford staff unpacking the containers the other end were equally quick and careful. The cost was very competitive to other carriers. A big thanks to Allied Pickford and I would certainly recommend them for any interstate transport to family and friends.

They were a bit disorganised from our point of veiw and the packers used way more packing material than was required which meant we paid 15 percent or more volume than I feel we should have. An example is 5 sheets of packing paper for a single 1.5m power lead !!. Several boxes were half full then topped up with packing paper and I was left wondering if the packers were paid a commission on volume !!. Pack as much of your own stuff as you can.

Prices are unbeatable, always cheaper than others. I had a whole full interstate service with them from moving a 1br furniture + car + storage. The car arrive so quick and in original conditions. The packing and unpacking team was super careful, helpful and friendly. Would recommend to everyone even for a small job. P/s: to avoid disappointment always ask (in written) for every single fees they are about to charge before signing the contract.

Poor communication. I had to keep following up on the move date and delivery date. Paying 8.400 I thought we would have a better service. They sent the wrong truck on the move day that was requested on the job sheet. So we had to use our Ute to transfer all our belongings to the truck .Marble Table that we paid to be crated wasn't and was broken on arrival. We have used Allied before but won't be again.

We found the Allied Pickfords guys very professional, punctual, friendly and well organised. We moved from Adelaide to Brisbane and the teams from both cities were great to deal with. Our goods were packaged very well and were delivered on time. I also like that they come and pick up the boxes once we finish unpacking. Overall a really great experience. We would use them again.

We were highly impressed with the service we received from start to finish. The service was faultless and took a lot of stress out of the day of the actual move. I have used smaller independently owned companies before but never again.... We also used Pickfords to transport our cat and really happy with the handling and care our cat received. Allied Pickfords is a very professional company that makes moving stress free. I moved from SA to Qld taking all furniture and belongings; they also took care of organising my car and cat transport. They were very quick to respond to all questions and kept to the timings they organised. I was extremely impressed and would highly recommend Allied Pickfords.

I had a load to pick up in Adelaide and one in Port Melbourne both to be shipped to Mackay in QLD. The back office organisation took care of everything, they were quick, efficient and very friendly. Absolutely useless company. Won't even answer phone calls. Have left 3 messages since 9am this morning, it is now 3pm and no one has gotten back to me. Emails sent last week haven't been answered. What sort of business are they running when they apparently don't want any business? Ridiculous.

I asked Allied to come and quote on a removal, they requested 7.30am but no one turned up. Needless to say, I will not be using this company. I would not be able to rely on them keeping their word. They were highly recommended to me too. Very disappointing. No stars if that were an option.

These people broke almost a fifth of all my items during my relocation. I moved from Adelaide to Malaysia. Till today, over 6 months after the event, no one from the Adelaide, South Australia office has acknowledged this disaster or bothered to apologize for the distress caused.

Both the packer and the guys who came to load up all of my belongings were courteous, friendly and professional. I couldn't be happier with the service and was glad that I had the option (last minute) to put my stuff in storage for a reas price due to issues at my new address.

Rang for a quote, and I was impressed with Jeremy who came the next day and gave a good estimate and had lots of helpful hints. The company chose another removalist - Allied are not the cheapest, but I think it would be excellent for people with newer and more complex items.
