"Will give 3"
"It has been a very good experience for me so far"
"Amazing facility with great instructors! Altea has definitely taken my workouts to the next level and the classes I have taken so far (Pilates/Hot Yoga) have been incredibly fun"
"I would like to start with I understand it’s busy to be opening a new gym/business and giving over 3000 people the same access/trial period for the first 10 days"
"Beautiful space, amenities are great"
Will give 3.5 stars. Class booking is horrendous! I need to refresh 6 to 12 times to book or cancel a class. Not enough showers especially during busy times, Towels left lint when I dried myself. However, good classes with knowledgeable instructors. Friendly staff from what I experienced. Need long and short resistant bands.
It has been a very good experience for me so far. Definitely enjoy going to classes and trying different exercises. All instructors are energized and staffs are very friendly. The cleaning staffs are always coming around to wipe the equipments and keep things clean. Spin and Boxing classes are a must try!
Amazing facility with great instructors! Altea has definitely taken my workouts to the next level and the classes I have taken so far (Pilates/Hot Yoga) have been incredibly fun. The Dyson hair dryers include many great attachments (one for
I would like to start with I understand it’s busy to be opening a new gym/business and giving over 3000 people the same access/trial period for the first 10 days. However, I am really bummed about my experience with Altea. I was only able
Beautiful space, amenities are great. Love the changing rooms and the sauna and steam room although steam room still not open (they sent an email saying it was open which was not true as I was there when I received it) and sauna not very
Altea is the epitome of wellness club in Vancouver. Today’s grand opening left me speechless: THE SPACE: a place that has been carefully planned and designed to be easy to navigate, machines and equipment perfectly placed and designed in
I have been homeless (gymless) for quite some time now and I’ve been waiting a long time for a fitness facility like this to open. At first I thought the renderings were too ambitious, but I’m shocked to find the facilities look exactly
Altea is an outstanding new addition to Vancouver's gym scene. From my initial tour of the facility to my first training sessions I am totally impressed and very excited to be a member at Altea West 6th. The eucalyptus steam room is an
Been here since it's grand opening. The gym is new, is beautiful and "fancy". But they don't really care about details: smelly towels still get ur face and hair full of fuzz, contact methods are decorative: always voicemail or just no
No more room! Popular classes fill up on the booking system (which is frustratingly full of bugs and glitches). The parking lot and the four showers in the ladies room are completely full on Saturday morning and during the afterwork
Great facilities and class options. Boxing coaches are killing it despite the bags still not being in place. It would be great if there was any information around this timeline rather than hoping to see them hanging one day.
This is the best gym EVER!!! Altea has an amazing gym with every single piece of equipment you’ll need, sauna, steam room, lockers and Dyson hairdryers!! By far the best gym in Vancouver - I highly recommend coming here!
Beautiful gym, the weight area is too warm though especially when the fans aren’t on. The Classes are awesome! Love the yoga classes and I love that they offer dance classes! Danielle’s Wednesday dance class is AMAZING!
The space is Incredible - the ambience, equipment and layout is all flawless. The dark setting, the lighting - I love it! Most gyms have a bright light beaming down in your eyes when you’re using the bench press!
Is the best gym I have ever been! The facilites are top class, generous spaces and top of the line equipment. You can choose a very wide array of classes and times. Instructors are very engaging.
I’ve waited 2 months to give a review as I assumed there would be some kinks needing to be worked out. Some have gotten resolved but it seems new ones have also sprung up.
It’s great to have so many classes in one place and gives you lots of variety to keep your work out fresh. The space is always kept clean and very aesthetically pleasing.
I've been going since the grand opening, and so far it's been pretty good. The gym is beautifully designed, the amenities are nice, and the variety of classes is great.
I’ve been waiting for this location to open after touring some of there facilities in Toronto. Although not as big, I gotta say this opening did not disappoint!
I am a member and when I ask a question through emails I never get a response. Edit: the customer service is terrible when they do reply. The gym is overpriced
After spending some time at Altea Active, I find myself inclined to give it a 3 out of 5-star rating, though I'd prefer a 3.5 if half ratings were an option.
The gym/ equipment is fantastic. However, there are many things that need to be refined before I would consider this to be a "boutique" gym.
The best way to describe this place is an "influencer gym." They delayed their opening by at least a month but there's still a lot that's
Love this gym! While there are some small adjustments that can be done, the club does a great job at keeping it clean and high tech!
If you want fancy this is your gym, below is a breakdown of pros & cons PROS: - Nice new build with beautiful finishing
Did Altea oversell their membership? Most classes get booked out in minutes, if you didn’t jump on booking a class
UPDATE: So I thought I’d give them a 2nd chance by allowing them to reach out to me as
Nice facility, great equipment, nice changing rooms. A few changes and could be great.
3 weeks exp.. I’m enjoying my experience so far as a diamond member. However, I almost
I’ve been training at Altea since day 1, so here’s my honest review. PROS
