I was referred to American Knights by a third party broker. I worked with the broker to find a company that fit my needs. The information the broker gave me did not match what actually has happened. I spoke with the dispatch person about 6 different times. The first few times were to solidify everything for my move. Not once did I hear anything beyond they will pick it up on August 22nd and deliver it on August 28th. The movers showed up 3 hours late to load our stuff. (They showed up at 9pm) The estimation of our cubic footage was WAY under what we quoted. They did not remove any charges for us not using that space and wouldn't add more stuff on the truck to fill up that space. They have had my stuff for a full month already. It wasn't until 2 days before my listed drop off date that they told me my stuff could be delivered anywhere between 6-14 days AFTER the delivery date. I never received any word beyond that. I called on the 17th day (It was after a weekend) after deliver and they told me it was 6-14 BUSINESS days Today is the 15th business day and they still haven't called me to set up delivery. I will be calling this afternoon to inquire about my belongings. I have been in a foreign state for 3 weeks with a 3/4 empty house. . I've had to buy several things for my home that are with my stuff that is STILL IN HOUSTON. I'm out about $1,000 extra dollars on all the stuff we had to buy to make life here possible. Every time I call the dispatch, the person seems really unfazed by my situation and keeps citing DIFFERENT rules that were never discussed previously. I called and told them almost 2 weeks ago that a semi wouldn't fit where I live and they said they will charge me an extra $350 to rent another smaller truck locally. Even thought I gave them notice. We were supposed to be saving money using these people and with all the extra charges and stuff I've had to buy, I could have afforded a more expensive moving company. I was, honestly, kind of concerned they would keep my belongings. If it weren't for all the other good reviews, I would have thought this company was a scam. I wouldn't suggest using American Knights. If you do, ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS. When they will pick it up, when they will drop it off, SPECIFIC TIME LINES. Had they been up front with me about all of this, I would have planned differently or not used them at all.

Unprofessional sums up the interaction I’ve had with this moving company. Let me start by saying I’ve had a few less than ideal moving company experiences in the past, so I did a fair amount of research into moving companies. I chose to go with International Van Lines because of their customer service rating. Little did I know that in the days of the pandemic, they subcontract out to other companies, which unfortunately for me, American Knights was subcontracted to do my move. I scheduled my pick up dates for 1/2 and 1/3 as a backup over a month in advance. I was moving long distance domestically and renting out my place several days after I moved. I received a call a week prior from someone who identified himself as from “the moving company.” He asked if instead of 1/3, he could pickup my things on 1/4. I explained our circumstances, and told him I would check with my wife because she was coordinating cleaning the place and getting it ready for our tenants. After touching base with my wife, she had already booked cleaning and handymen services for 1/4 with tenants to move in on 1/5, and these appts were non-refundable. I googled the number that this “moving company” man had called me from and found out it was actually American Knights’ Houston branch, which has numerous horrific reviews. I called back and spoke with the same “moving company” representative who told me that he wasn’t going to “send my guys out to New Mexico on a holiday weekend. You need to be flexible, and your tenants need to be flexible too.” Shocked by such a display of terrible customer service—and courtesy, I called International Van Lines and told them about my experience. They offered to contract to another company, but I told them if it wasn’t going to be them transporting my things, I would rather hire someone who could guarantee they could do the job. I ultimately went with Two Guys and a Truck which was an amazing experience. Stay away from American Knights. They wouldn’t know customer service if it bit them in the a$$. In the end, their guys in Houston get to enjoy the holiday weekend and my 8k in moving expenses went to someone who actually treated me with respect.

Overall, my experience with American Knights Moving was terrible. I moved from Texas to North Carolina in November 2021. I got a job offer to NC and had to move quickly. The move was booked through Safeway Moving Company, who didn't tell me that they would be outsourcing to American Knights Moving. The movers who picked up my things were extremely professional and communicated well with me before arriving at the apartment. From that point on, it was a headache getting any kind of information from the company. When I booked with Safeway Moving company, I was told my things would be delivered within 14 days. Then when my things were picked up, I was told within 21 days. And then when I called for an update, I was told within 21 business days. Long story short, after calling numerous times to get an update, my things came almost 2 months after being picked up. In all fairness, part of the delay is due to my being out of town for Christmas and unable to be available to accept the delivery. The delivery driver was extremely unprofessional. I was told he would be at my apartment Monday afternoon. All Monday evening, he told me he was 'on his way' but refused to tell me when he would arrive. I found out from a lady in dispatch that the dropoffs on Sunday ran behind, meaning he knew he wouldn't be dropping off on Monday and left me waiting for 10 hours. Keep in mind, I just started a new job and had to reschedule patients to accommodate the moving company. He didn't get there until Tuesday evening. I had to call and ask for management multiple times before speaking to someone who could give me answers. When he got to the apartment, he was upset that the company reduced the price to compensate for missing work the day before. He informed me that the money comes out of his cut and 'he has mouths to feed'. In addition, he was working by himself because he said his partner was 'rude to a customer' and he fired him. We only got things unloaded in a timely manner because my friend came over to help. In the future, I will not use a moving company again. It's not worth the money or stress.

I have used professional movers 5 times to make long-distance moves. This was hands-down THE worst moving company I have ever dealt with. 1. The crew for the pick up did not arrive until 4 PM and did not finish packing until 12 midnight. They sent too few people and a truck that was too small. Thankfully the crew was good, but company cut corners and we suffered. 2. It took two weeks for AK to deliver our home goods. And when they came it was a second disaster. Many pieces of furniture nicked, scraped, dented, and or worse. Box after box of items was broken and crushed. The items inside suffered damage. But what was worse was the many boxes and items had been completely soaked in water, sat in the warehouse, and were covered by mold. SHOES, CLOTHING, KITCHEN ITEMS, BOXES WERE WET AND COVERED BY MOLD. Many of these items we simply had to throw out. Others, we are removing the mold, but now our new house smells of mold. How does something like this even happen? The deliver crew was the worst I have ever seen. They were rude, late, slow, and unprofessional. They left dents and nicks in our house by careless handling of items. They moved our mattress upstairs by folding it in half and pushing it way too roughly. The mattress now is filled with lumps and needs to be replaced. They stopped carrying items up the stairs towards the end and would hide them in the garage instead. After they told us they were done with the unloading, I walked into the garage and found over 20 boxes/items sitting there, undelivered to rooms. The crew arrived late in the day, around 5 PM, and did not finish unloading until 3 AM. I urge everyone to avoid this company.

EDITED FOR CLARITY AND UPDATES: Do not use American Knights or International Van Lines. I was reassured when booking my move that my items would arrive within a matter of days of my requested delivery date. Based on the conversation with the sales associate, we intentionally had our items picked up two weeks before our requested delivery date, because he indicated this would mean our items would arrive on time. The sales associate further led me to be concerned that if I did not book then, my dates may no longer be available. Having only his reassurances to go off of, I paid a nearly $2000 deposit over the phone before being able to review any official contract. When picking up my items, American Knights had a contract which stated that they would deliver my items within 21 BUSINESS DAYS. We felt pressure to sign this contract, having already paid the nearly $2000 deposit. Since picking up our items, they have been inconsistent in this messaging, repeatedly indicating that the delivery would occur in 4 to 14 business days. My wife, our two dogs, and I are going to be in an empty apartment for up to five weeks now. I’ve been told multiple times in the past month that American Knights are waiting for the “next available driver,” but I simply cannot believe this is true as their customer service agent told me that it’s still “very early in the delivery window.” American Knights has repeatedly claimed that there are variables beyond their control, but they have my money and my items while I spend weeks in an empty apartment. International Van Lines and American Knights need a better analysis of their capacity and of their sales practices.

I am editing my review since American Knights just called me, but the below review was our impression of the move, not knowing that Trinity Movers is just a booking company. It was nice of American Knights to call us and offer any help they may be able to give. Original review, 1 star changed to 2: Trinity Movers hired American Knights, I am assuming because we moved out of Texas. We didn't know initially that our belongings would be loaded, unloaded and stored, then reloaded to go from Austin to Buffalo, NY area, including my 6'3" piano. The time table was unclear and it was hard to get an answer about when our belongings would arrive. I needed a clearer answer to be able to coordinate with a piano mover. The piano ended up being stored in our garage over a few days (after 10 or us rolled it carefully in there) until the piano mover could come. Only 2 men were on the truck when it did arrive, and luckily my family of 5 had 3 friends available to help unload. It was very nerve-wracking to use this company, and a few of our possessions were destroyed, so far our crock pot and some ceramic items, but we packed ourselves, they just loaded. Chair legs were going through the boxes by the time we got everything. My husband packed and moved us from Seattle to Austin with nothing broken. The 2 men on the truck were very nice and helpful, but it was an uneasy experience for which we were charged extra after already paying almost 10K. Thankfully, my piano is okay.

A truly professional moving service. I think one of the main questions people have when selecting movers is "will my stuff be safe?" With American Knights, your stuff will absolutely be safe. Every single item of ours is in the exact condition it was before the move, including the fragile things, and the moving team even offered for us to come check their moving truck when they were finished to make sure they did not take any of our stuff. We did not feel the need to check it, but genuinely appreciated that they offered. We were moved by Jesus Aguilar, Jesus Aguilar Jr., and Manuel MA. They were incredibly kind, courteous, and respectful. They arrived right on time, worked VERY quickly, were extremely careful (both with our stuff and with the walls), made sure every item was packed safely and each piece of furniture was protected, and even went out of their way to help me get a desk out of my sister's apartment. I have a set of old wooden golf clubs that I didn't pack up because I figured it would be inconvenient for movers due to their shape and size, but Jesus was happy to move them without question. I really can't commend Jesus and his team enough. I will be recommending American Knights, and only American Knights, to everyone I know who is moving. Jesus, Jesus Jr., and Manuel - thank you for making our move so smooth and easy. We couldn't have done it without you. The value of the service you provide far exceeds the cost.

Wanted to share my experience in hopes of helping others use another company to save worry, expenses and just a very unsettling and disappointing. I committed to move from Texas to Wisconsin and my company paid for the move. I chose this company which as I've found has been proven to not be a legit company. I fault myself for selecting this company especially since my company was covering the costs. The movers arrived late and cursed us when they finally arrived because they believed we were unhappy due to their tardiness. They collected our furniture on 6/25 and it arrived in Wisconsin on 8/17/21. This happened after several calls, threatening emails and follow up. The contract stated it would arrive in 10 -14 business days. When they arrived as you can see from the photos our clothes and pieces of furniture including clothes were ruined. We are still missing a whole suitcase and my husband is missing a speaker and a computer printer that was never furnished, we believe the moves took our items. As you also notice, the company had rented a rental truck to move our things, which further proves the company is not legit. I am pursuing a law suit against the company and plan to rectify. I was still required to pay expenses and was deceived and has the worst experience imaginable. I hope this helps save someone the trouble and disappointment we went through. Good luck to you all.

The guys from American Knights Moving showed up to my home in TN on 2/1. When they were halfway through loading the driver informed me the truck was full because they had another person stuff on the truck. He proceeded to tell me he rented a storage unit a mile down from my home in TN and would drop everything off there and return for the rest of my things. A few hours later he returned. They loaded the rest of my furniture and told me he would drop everything off at the storage so another truck could pick it up on Monday. He also raised the price of my delivery $1450 but said he would only charge me an extra $1000. The driver told me the office would contact me on Monday to go over everything. I never received a call. On Tuesday I called to find out if my things had been picked up. I found out half my stuff was in TN at the storage and half was brought to TX. They told me they were waiting on a truck to pick up my stuff in TN but couldn't tell me anything about why my stuff went to TX. I called every day last week and was told the same thing, she would talk to her supervisor and call me back. Well I never got a call back. My things are to be delivered to Navada but I have no idea when are where my things are at . I have moved 4 times in the last few years and over several states for my job and I have to say this has been the most stressful and unperfssional experience ever.

Never use them, here is the This is a non professional fake and fraud service. When you call their office number to get a quote based on your stuff to be moved. The Ladies over the phone will promise you so many things and will sound very professional and generous. When they will show up on the day (which is generally the last day before you move). Then they will give you the quote of 4x the original estimated price and then threaten you by saying that they will leave if you don't pay them 50% of the new price . And if you try to call the office number and try to reach out to the lady you had been speaking with, she will not pick up the phone ever. Because of them I had to discard my $3000 pool table because they promised $400 for move and upon coming, they asked $1500 for the same. Upon asking and negotiating about the same, they will threaten you also and talk very rudely. On top of this, they will charge you for even trivial things like pillow, comforter, bed sheets etc. Then upon delivering they will charge extra by saying you have more than 10 steps in your stairs. During the move, they broke many of my stuffs like my cross trainer, my glass dinning table, my console table etc. and after chasing down for more than 6 months, they offered $84 as compensation. NEVER GET IN THEIR TRAP

My name is not used in the paperwork, I have the right company! I will not disclose the name used until my partner and I get our things back. 27 days ago, this ‘moving company’ came to my house in Baton Rouge, LA and packed up 99% of my things for my move to Nashville. I was told that if I gave the company a 48 hour heads up, my stuff would be at my new house, no worries and no problem. My move date was set for Jan 8th but I was told by this company that they couldn’t move my belongings for a few more days. I postpone the trip up to Nashville for another week, mind you I’m sleeping on an air mattress and living out of a suitcase. Finally get to my new house, expecting the delivery of my belongings, only to be told they have no clue when they can start the trip up to finally give me back my belongings. It is now January 23rd and I was just told my belongings are ‘still in staging’ and couldn’t even get a date on when they could leave or when my belongings would get here… the best answer I could get was 21 days is the latest it will arrive. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but at this point almost everything I own is being held hostage and no one on the other side of the phone can help in the slightest. Thousands of dollars spent, only to be bullied and ignored by a ‘moving company’

Recently moved a large home from Kingwood to Austin. I did alot of research on moving companies, ratings, and I got 6 quotes. i could not be more happy with choosing American Knight, every aspect was great. The estimator, Jesus, came to my house, evaluated my move, quoted me a "very fair" price and how he would recommend moving some difficult piece, they built crates for some items, and other heavy pieces were carefully wrapped in blankets and secured. EVERY time I called them, Jennifer was responsive, when i emailed with questions, she got back with me within minutes. Jesus's quote was spot on the amount of room my belongings would fit onto truck and the price never varied. He was excellent, and very concerned about me being happy with their work. Morning of move, 6 very polite/strong guys showed up at my house on time with clean blankets, all the supplies they needed, and never stopped for 6-7 hours til we were completely loaded. The trucks were parked overnight in their secure lot/warehouse. Four of the same guys got to Austin the next morning around 9AM, with a smile and the same excellent service. I was SO SURPRISED how easy American Knight helped make this move, it was truly stress free, I had NO problems. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone moving.

I was anxious and apprehensive, as I went through the process of trying to find a reputable moving company to move our belongings from Houston to Boston. After lots of googling and then numerous calls to potential companies, I called American Knights Moving and Storage. Almost immediately they made me feel at ease. Needless to say, moving accross country can be a stressful time. From my initial call, to my follow up calls, to the gentleman that came to our home to pack things up and remove our belongings and to the deliver of our belongings to Boston, in all honesty, it could not have gone any smoother. They did exactly what we agreed upon. They were all very professional and helpful. To the day, they arrived when they told me they would be over to pack up our belongings and our belongings were delivered in the agreed upon window time frame. All of our boxes and other personal belongings arrived in the same condition as they left. Not a single item was missing or broken. I could not not have been any happier. The entire staff was very professional, helpful, pleasant and their price was very competitive. Recently, I enjoyed the services of American Knights Moving and Storage INC in handling my move from Texas all the way to Washington State. I was immediately impressed by their website and, once in touch with Jennifer about pricing and coordination, was more impressed and ready to go. The crew arrived promptly for pick-up of my goods, as scheduled. They were fast, efficient, and professional during this effort. Many of my goods were already boxed, but the crew quickly packaged odd-sized goods and furniture using their company materials. Once I moved to Washington, I was pleased that American Knights kept to the schedule for delivering my goods. This crew provided the same level of efficiency and professionalism that I originally experienced in Texas. Once I had time to unpackage my goods, I was very happy to see that everything was in good shape--no damage whatsoever. In closing out this job, I was also pleased to see that there were no hidden residual charges for the services. I am grateful to American Knights Moving and Storage INC for their great work and recommend them to anyone currently looking for movers they can depend upon in all respects. The experience began very well. The person who I worked with initially was very responsive and informative. The gentlemen picked up my things and worked very hard. HOWEVER, it now feels like my furniture has disappeared. It has been two weeks and the scheduler/dispatch has yet to reach out to me and when I call to inquire I'm told they don't have drivers. I drove myself 18+ hours by myself but I can't get this company to even give me an estimate as to when my things will even begin the journey to me. I'm very disappointed and uncomfortable in my new home...and losing hope that my furniture will get to me anytime soon. I would have been better off maybe driving it myself or paying a little more with another company. UPDATE: I got my furniture close to a month later. The costs to live in a new city for 4 weeks added up. It would have been better to pay more and work with a company that was more conscientious about scheduling and saw their clients as people. Also, look out for unexpected fees upon delivery. Buyer beware.

When I searched for a moving company to move all our things in a 10x30 storage unit in Texas to Idaho to our new home, Jennifer contacted me & was so helpful with my needs & concerns on this move. She made me feel I could trust American Knights for this long distant move. The day came to meet the movers at the storage unit. The crew assigned to our move were absolutely the best moving crew I’ve had in 4 moves I’ve done over the past 30 years. They were very professional & truly treated all my items as if they were moving their personal items. Everything was wrapped appropriately for the long move to arrive safely. They even put my refrigerator back together that the moving company I had move everything to storage took apart to get it out of the front door & didn’t put back together. Pieces of it were scattered in the unit. Thank you Francisco, Carlos, Joel, & Edwin for all your hard work! And thank you Jennifer for being so helpful! I’m confident that when I do get all my things in Idaho, everything will be okay.

I would give these thieves a zero if I could. Our delivery still has not happened 3 weeks after the delivery date, and I've been given nothing but excuses as to why. There is no timetable for delivery as they "don't have any drivers available." I hired International Van Lines for this move and they subcontracted American Knights Moving. I would have never hired them. They just told me that they can deliver my move whenever, per their contract. These people are liars and crooks. I expect that IF I get my things they're going to be damaged. They didn't send enough people to pack the house, they sent a truck that was too small, they billed my $2000+ more after they finished packing and loading, and now they're holding my things hostage. They won't even let me pay them in full, rent my own truck, and actually move the items myself. They clearly do not care, they cannot be trusted, and there is a reason they will only take cash or a cashier's check: because their services are a complete scam.

Gilly and his team of three guys were excellent!! We did a cross-state move from NY to GA, and used a broker that hired two separate moving companies on either end of our move. We had a nightmare experience with the company that moved us out of our place in NY, so we were nervous about how our stuff would arrive in GA and what to expect. But Gilly showed up with a great attitude and really came through. He and his team were so professional and extremely fast and efficient. They repaired a couch leg that had broken off (no doubt it happened during our move out experience in NY), set up our bed frame/bed and placed all our furniture in the rooms for us. There were no hidden charges or fees, and they communicated very well so we knew exactly when they were going to arrive. They also showed up right on time as planned. Anyone who has moved before knows how rare this is. I would absolutely use this moving company again and recommend them to anyone!

Phew, man this was a great experience. After reading all the reviews online about moving companies, I was seriously considering starting over in the new city. Either you pay an insane amount that is worth more than your stuff, or you pay a cheap broker that loses your belongings. Luckily, I had a friend recommend American Knights after using them a few months back. They not only were cost effective, they completely underpromised and over delivered. They gave a time estimate of 14 to 21 days, and got my stuff across the country in five days. Additionally, I definitely went over the amount of boxes and stuff that I had estimated when getting a quote, and they did not charge me for anymore. Lastly, the apartment I moved into did not have a moving elevator, and they did not even charge me for the additional distance it took to get to the other elevator. I would highly recommend using them, and using Jennifer as your point of contact!

The team who handled our move was very responsive, diligent , professional and punctual. Jennifer Perigen, our relocation specialist, provided in a timely fashion all the information I requested to plan our move, and the outcome was accordingly; estimating visit pointed to details I had not accounted for and helped define our cost estimate more accurately, moving material was delivered in time, moving day started timely, was done effectively and efficiently. Our belongings were to be moved to our own storage for a period of time so I asked the moving team to follow certain instructions to ensure we could locate and access things easily and they followed instructions accordingly. After a year, they moved our things out of the storage onto our new house with the same level of professionalism, all belongings intact; furniture, TVs, Lamps and all sort of fragile and breakable belongings included. Thank you for a great job!

Do NOT use this company. Took nearly 45 days for my belongings to get here and the entire time I tried to get an update on where my stuff was I’d be told I’d get a call later and then never get a call. A lot of hidden aspects of the move that they don’t tell you and that you won’t fine out about until it becomes a problem. When my stuff did finally get here I got a call at 7 AM saying they were ready to drop my stuff off, no where even remotely close to the 48 hour window I was told I would receive (after a move I was told would take 4 days turned into 45). My computer desk was also broken and despite not delivering my stuff within the agreed upon time frame per the contract I’ve received no compensation for either and my complaint to the BBB was ignored by American Knights Moving so I’ll have to take them to small claims court to hold them accountable for their negligence. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I tried to call and sent an email this morning but no one has contacted me. The movers arrived and reeked of alcohol. My boxes are so damaged to the point things have fallen out, have broken and they aren't even half finished bringing everything in. I gave them the money order for $2474 but I'm so upset right now. After using moving company's for the past 7 years ,moving across country this has to be the worst EVER! I have never had to write a Google review or send a email like these before. I also have before pictures of all my boxes. These were new boxes. I'm extremely scared to see what the rest of my things are going to look like. Especially sence they only sent 2 guys . They are having a hard time moving my furniture. It's all made of sold wood not cheap board. I will never use this company again. What a great moving experience! They were courteous, communicative, and flexible throughout the process. The guys who moved our belonging were kind, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. What I was most impressed by, though, was how they honored their word. When I signed the contract the representative told me that it was a binding agreement, and that it would cost me that much and that much only. I didn't pay much attention to that until on moving day we discovered that they'd underestimated how much truck space and manpower they'd need. So they sent another mover with a second truck to help get all our stuff loaded and out of the house on our timetable. And even with the extra labor and extra truck moving our stuff 5 hours away, they did not charge us one penny more. I was most impressed with the service I received - 5 stars for sure!

American Knights Moving & Storage provided us with excellent service and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish, everyone was friendly, professional, and responsive. Our communication with Uri to coordinate the move was great. He responded to every email immediately and answered all of our many questions. Despite the fact that we had to change our moving date, everything went perfectly. American Knights certainly lives up to their excellent reputation, and they exceeded all of our expectations for this move. Jesus, the foreman, and his moving team were absolutely wonderful to work with. I wouldn’t consider using any other moving company but American Knights Moving in the future! I wish I could leave more than just five stars, because they deserve a full sky of stars! Thank you, American Knights, you are highly recommended!!!

My items were picked up 1 month ago and for some reason they still haven't found a driver that can accommodate my move from Houston to New York. They have had plenty of time to coordinate this move and now we are stuck sleeping in an empty apartment for weeks. I have moved many times before this and have never encountered a company that is this terrible at communication with its customers. **** Update (1 week after original post, now approaching 5 weeks after pick up of my items): I have now been told multiple different things about when to expect my items. Some employees have emailed me telling me I will receive them by this week (or weekend), and now they are telling me it might not be until next week?! The company continues to be disorganized with communicating expectations.

I just moved from Austin, TX, to Washington, DC, and I am overall satisfied with my move with American Knights Moving & Storage. The movers were courteous and tried their best to take care of my belongings. I had some damages and am currently in touch with customer service. Will update with the outcome regarding damages, but they have been very considerate so far and actually initiated the contact to ask if anything had been damaged. They have been very helpful in making sure I am satisfied and have been very accommodating. Update: They were helpful in giving me a nice offer for concessions pertaining to my damaged items. This was also nice because I was 215 in the queue through the third-party claims service, which would have likely taken months. Very appreciative!

The move was excellent the team arrived on time and they deliver everything on the agreed day and time in the new state. (1,286 miles) They packed everything perfectly in their truck, protected everything, and all the big furniture that they diassemble and later assemble in the new house, arrived without a scratch! Both teams were very respectful, helpful and super organized. They prepare a list of all the packages they are taking with them and check every box when they arrive to the destination. I have move many times out of state and this was the best moving company We have ever had. If we need to move again we will definitely hire them. And No surprises with the quote. What they quoted was what they charged us!

My families experience with this company was shady on the front end, great on the delivery and pick up end. My mother originally got an estimate which turned out to be incorrect by the company and the fees doubled. So imagine thinking $1700 and then finding out $3000 as a mistake on their side. Then it took them almost the whole 3 weeks to make the delivery. When the office called about a date they side mentioned that if an 18 wheeler can't access the storage space safely that moving stuff in would be additional. How convenient. I will say the pick and delivery guys were A++ but they were not American Knights, likely contract. So if you look at it at that, they probably deserve 1 or 2 stars.

"Buyer Beware" They showed up late and reviewed the terms and conditions of the contract after the truck was completely packed at 1:00AM in the morning. They claimed I chose the insurance option where I was covered on the "weight" of my items. This was never explained to me. When they were scheduled to unpack the truck in Florida, they hired general labor men from Craigslist the same day. These men were not qualified movers and they damaged several items of furniture. Now they are pointing fingers to the broker company they were involved with and will not cover the damage when all I asked for was to cover the furniture repair bill. Also, many pieces were unrepairable. Terrible Company!

I just recently used American Knights for the second time for my move from Houston to Dallas. My new place in Dallas is on the third floor with no elevator and to see these guys get all my stuff delivered with no damages and quickly was awesome! Elmer, Fernando and Arturo did an amazing job and were super friendly and made this process stress free! Maria and Tanya in the office made the booking process and follow up so simple and helpful. The other reason I give them 5 stars is the price I received on the quote was 100% accurate not like some moving companies that try to charge you way more after the fact. Thank you to the AK team for getting me moved safely, quickly and efficiently.

A total joke! Totally unprofessional! They gave me a 10 day window, ok… but they started counting the 10 day on Dec 6, instead of the day they picked up my stuff on Dec 1. It’s now Dec 13, and when I called, they are saying the 10 day mark is the 19th. That’s 3 weeks delivery time from Houston to Atlanta! I’m sleeping on the floor waiting for my stuff and at this point I’m not even sure if my belongings are stored properly or if I’ll get everything in good condition. Whats even more shocking to me is their careless attitude, not even making a curtesy call to provide me with updates. No, I have to call them a couple of times with one voice message that was never returned!

I had a wonderful experience with American Knights Moving and Storage. Here are some highlights: 1. I received a quote at the beginning and then got rid of stuff, so they returned to give me a second quote. 2. I changed my move date with no hassle. 3. Movers on both ends (pick up and drop off) were responsible and friendly. 4. The manager came to check on how the move was going during the moving day. 5. I got extremely lucky and my stuff arrived within 6 days from shipping from Houston, TX to Seattle, WA in June! 6. I got a call after the final drop off to make sure everything went smoothly. All in all, a wonderful experience and I highly recommend.

The absolute worst. Bait and Switch on pricing. Horrible customer service. Storage fees that are borderline highway robbery and a straight up ransom to get your possessions from them. You'd be better off hiring day laborers to load your stuff up in a U-Haul and drive it yourself, you'd save about $12K. The customer service woman gives attitude and is about the worst I've ever seen. Gives you a call less than 24 hours before the arrival date and expects you to be available. Zero communication and constantly charging you for "unforeseen" expenses. I would not use this company ever again, stick with a national company or do it yourself.

Should have taken 1 truck to move me from one city to another and one day. The brother a 10 footer to move a 2 bedroom home. And I had already sold my house. It took 2 trips and 2 trucks. When the second truck got there a week later. The driver made all kind of excuses not to move they couldn't understand English or speak it very well at all. I had to find someone to come and translate for the both of us. They also tried to make me pay for the second trip. I was so angry, they even had the wrong address to deliver my furniture to. I don't ever plan on using them ever again, nor would I recommend anyone to use them.

American Knights Moving and Storage were great. From Kayla always taking my calls when I would add things to the list to the guys who showed up on time and were very careful with wrapping all my antiques to moving heavy furniture, they didn't break or damage anything. When they arrived in Louisiana, there were only 3 of them and they had the truck unloaded, furniture put together and were courteous. They had the truck empty and were gone in 3 hours which was amazing. Kayla even texted me to see that everything was to my satisfaction. Don't plan on moving again but if I did, it would be with them if at all possible.

American Knights Moving and Storage helped me out when I had a big move from Texas to Oregon. They presented me with a wide variety of options and advice. After looking into other potential moving companies I decided to go with them because of the phone call I had with Ms. Rosa at the office. She made it seem like they actually care about my personal belongings getting to the destination, and that it wasn't just another job. No company came close to being as friendly and trustworthy. Overall great experience and would recommend 10/10. I will be using them again shortly for another big trip.

The best moving company ever!!! Their customer service is the best I’ve ever had with any company that I’ve ever dealt with. They packed everything and had my mess organized and ready to go. They left things in better condition than they had found it. Jesus explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. And what he said was true and accurate. I knew then I could trust them getting my moms fragile belongings to her without any mishaps. He even stopped me from accidentally throwing away something very important. I will never use another moving company again!

The Woman (Tanya Paz) who set up my appointment was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Answered all the questions I had and was extremely through. She definitely knows the ins and out of the company and policy’s and procedures. The movers were extremely friendly too. Professional and very careful with our stuff. If I knew that moving would be this easy and affordable Id never move myself again. Let me rephrase. I will never move myself again and will always use American Knights. I definitely will be recommending Tanya and the company to all my friends.

HORRIBLE!!! It’s been 21 days since all my furniture and moving boxes were picked up and no deliver ETA yet. They claim delivery is 7-14 days but can take up to 21 in rare instances. They have NOT been able to tell why my stuff is late. Just “it will be loaded on the weekend.” I’ve moved states several times and have never had an issue before until now. This has been a huge inconvenience; as you all may understand, living off of a suitcase for nearly a month is horrible. There is no apology whatsoever, just “it will be loaded this weekend.” For the last three!!!

Was an absolute horrible experience. They did not adequately share the schedule prior to me signing. Then picked up my items from Dallas and brought them to Houston for storage “until a driver and truck became available”. Had no sense of urgency or care to get me my items in a timely manner. Took OVER 30 days before I received my stuff for my out-of-state move. Lived without my items for a month. Finally got my things, with NO discount and some of the boxes were beat up and only 2 people were sent to unload and move my stuff in... Would not recommend!

This is not based on a move, because when I received quote over the phone… all I can say was, “Wow.” I was in total shock! For move from a one bedroom apartment to local PODS facility…. $1000!!!! I repeated what was quoted to make sure I understood, and I understood correctly. Again, Wow! I did not give the lady time to tell me what was included, but it has to be “white glove service” for that price. I only paid about $300 when I moved to my current location three years ago. I know everything has gone up, but this was a price I could not handle.

I moved from the Dallas-Fort Worth area to Houston. I selected American Knights for my move due to good reviews and low cost. The moving coordinator was clear on the requirements and fees for the move. The movers arrived at the provided time window, and also called ahead of time to confirm what time they would arrive. I had American Knights do the packing and storage for me. All my furniture was moved intact. Since storage was in Houston, I was able to get my furniture from storage within 2 days. Overall very happy with the service.

American knights did a phenomenal job moving my things safely and efficiently across the state. I had never used a moving company before, but after looking up a few different local places, I chose them as their reviews online were great. The moving team was awesome, and were even able to have my things unloaded earlier than I was previously quoted. Jennifer was also great, and was always there to answer any questions I had throughout the process. I will only be using American Knights for any future moves. Great job guys.

I moved from out of state a couple of months ago and used American Knights Moving and Storage. Our experience with them was phenomenal the staff was extremely respectful and careful with all our household items. I usually dread moving but they made my experience moving a million times easier. We had no issues at all everyone was on top of it every step of the way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving and not wanting to deal with the headache. I wasn't sure if I was putting my stuff on the right hands but these moves confirmed me that they were the correct company to hire at the end of the day. They got all my stuff moved from a 5th floor apartment in just 3 hours. My moving consultant Tanya was very caring throughout the entire move. She promised to deliver in 10-11 working days and ended up delivering in just 8 days. I was always treated with respect and honesty. They are trustworthy and I would hire them again if needed.

We had an excellent experience with American Knights Moving! We were given a fair price (the price didn't change) and the service was well worth the money. The movers went above and beyond to make sure all of our items were protected, loaded, and unloaded - nothing was lost or damaged during our cross-country move. We were given an unload window of 2-14 business days, but our items arrived at our new home one week after pickup. We definitely recommend American Knights Moving.

Everything about working with this company was easy. The transaction, scheduling, move, all of it. They went over the quote and expenses very carefully. My job was reimbursing me for relocation costs so it was nice to be able to give them clear information. They ended up doing the move much faster than expected and at a very fair price. This is one of the best, if not the best moving company I have ever dealt with and I have moved several times. Highly recommended.

I’m so happy we were lucky enough to find American Knights. We had to move across the US and it’s so hard to single out someone communicative you can trust with everything you own. These guys delivered, literally! One truck with three pros was all it took. They wrapped everything diligently and stacked the truck efficiently so we didn’t have to pay for wasted space. Would definitely recommend if you want some peace of mind :) and accommodating customer service.

AMERICAN KNIGHTS moving company is a dirty company. They will give you one price, then once your stuff is packed up and loaded they will change the price. We accepted the price change because we were stuck. They moved us from PA to TX. Once alot of our things go delivered, alot of thing were broken or stolen. Also do not fall for that bogus insurance. We received $80 for thousands of dollars worth of damage and stolen goods. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

I loved everything about this company. The workers were very punctual, actually came a little earlier than expected which was nice, they were quick and very good with directions. I highly recommend this company, pricing is very reasonable, they set up my furniture, who doesn’t like these qualities in a moving company? Just saying.. it’s hard to find people who don’t break things and who don’t drag when it comes to getting the job done.

At first, they are nice, once you sign the contract, they are different. They sent a driver to pick up our stuff, rude person, smoking cigarette and puff it to my face during the conversation. They gave me the quote for 7000, they came and changed the price to 10600, they said they will deliver 3 to 7 days, but our stuff was sitting in a warehouse for 20 days. They lie easily, they are rude, and unprofessional, our ladder went missing.

I currently moved to Florida for my new job and had to hire a moving company for the first time. I don't usually do reviews but in this case I do appreciate the communication and the care of my things that was given . The crew was great at my pickup location and delivery too. Great since of humor. And Rosa was really helpful answering all my questions from the begging that I booked the job to the end of my move. I will recommend .

My 85 year old mother’s home was demolished by a tornado- we needed to get her remaining possessions (a lot of them) out quickly to avoid water damage. Tanya at American Knights was so responsive and so patient every step of the way. Jesus and his team were efficient and professional. Every element of the move went smoothly. It was such a difficult situation and I’m so grateful for the service American Knights provided.

From the beginning Jeny was extremely helpful. She helped answer all my questions and concerns. The day of the move was quick and easy! The service provided by American Knights was excellent. They took the job seriously and made great efforts to avoid damages or losses. The movers were kind and respectful. They helped me pack and wrap everything, they brought all kinds of packing materials. The insurance policy is very reliable since my dining table got damaged and the insurance company paid for it. I definitely had the best experience with them.

This is the second time that I move with this company and this time I used their storage service at a very fair price. They took their time to move everything preventing damages. The movers were kind and respectful. They packed and wrapped everything with the materials they brought. I did not have any damaged items not even the ones that were on storage. I don’t have any complaints at all and I’m satisfied.

Went there a brokerage company Be aware that using this company for long distance moves your stuff will be in storage for a whole month until they get driver coming to your state I moved from Texas February 24th and got my stuff March 24th and they send it in the 18 wheeler vehicle , the guys were good with our stuff I’m just not a fan of the length of time you have to wait for your personal belongings

From the moment of our first inquiry to the placement of our last piece of furniture, every aspect of dealing with this company was excellent. Each person we dealt with was polite, efficient and able to answer any of our questions while explaining the process. Moving is no fun and often traumatic. American Knights makes it as smooth as possible. I'd never use another company after our experience.

My company had a employee moving from one location to our location in League City. Tanya Paz gave us a quote for packing, moving from New Braunfels to League City and unloading that we couldn't believe! Drivers were early, fast and treated all of my employee's objects carefully! They are the most efficient mode of transportation. They will look after you as if you were their own child and will not let you down. The movers know how to transfer everything without destroying anything. They are reliable, active, industrious, and productive. I received my products on schedule and in perfect condition. I really couldn’t find a more helpful company. They came to pick up just in time in neat uniforms and with all the needed equipment, tools and packing. They were very polite to me and my family. Everything ran smoothly and they went that extra mile disassembling and assembling all the big items. They provide an outstanding service.

Don’t use this company for your move. I have a close friend of mines who moved almost a month ago from Texas to Ohio. Company still has all his property sitting in Houston. It’s going on 2 months without any resolution this is unacceptable. It is now that he is getting an attorney involved. Don’t use this company!

I will not disclose the name we used on the paperwork as we have already received terrible service from you guys and don't need to be contacted by the company again as you will never be utilized again. I have used other movers in the past and I have not had good experiences. However, this company was really amazing!!! The movers were friendly, quick and most importantly they were very careful not to scratch anything. They went out of their way to make sure that I was happy. Would highly recommend to use them!

I don't move often. It was nerve-racking but this company made it tolerable. They bent over backwards to get my heirloom stuff from San Antonio to Starkville Mississippi in the heat of summer. They got it unwrapped and in. From Dony in SAT, to Khalil on delivery, to Rosa at dispatch, I was very impressed.

This moving company is very responsive and professional. All my calls were answered and requests addressed in a timely manner. My things from TX came intact, nothing missing or broken. Customer service was exceptional (my agent was Tanya). Final price was in line with quote. Arrival times of movers were accurate. It did take a month to deliver my household goods, but I wasn’t in a hurry, so it was okay for me personally. I would recommend & use them again.

On March 7th, I moved from Pearland, TX to Dallas, TX. American Knights came to my home, carefully wrapped and moved my furniture and they drove to Dallas and delivered it, all in one day! They were professional and courteous and I enjoyed working with them.

I had to move from League City to Cypress area. Tanya Paz was my moving representative. She was professional and made things go smooth. They have great costumer service and just an amazing company overall! Will for sure be using them again if I ever need to.
