Gas station
"Ever since Caltex head office took over and then became Ampol, this westbound side has fallen well below"
"Plenty of Diesel pumps but all at front pumps"
"This petrol station is on the western side of the M4, so if your heading to the mountains it is easy to fill up or buy supplies or even have your car washed"
"A giant Caltex service station on the M4 heading out West"
"Disgraceful customer service"
Ever since Caltex head office took over and then became Ampol, this westbound side has fallen well below. Toilets are either always out of order or they are absolutely putrid and the smell is horrid. The truck diesel pump area used to be clean, neat & tidy. Now is always filthy and pumps out of order constantly and no adBlue pretty frequently. I have been a LONG-TERM customer (6+ years of stopping here for fuel before heading over the mountains atleast 5 nights a week) and have seen this site go from having spotless amenities, spotless pump areas, shelves always stocked, hot pies etc always ready, awesome nightshift staff & pumps always working. To now atrocious everything. If it wasnt so convenient for me to get fuel i would not come here since Ampol has taken over!
Plenty of Diesel pumps but all at front pumps. Bit inconvenient and time consuming waiting to get to a front pump. Plenty of bins, watering cans, squeegees and paper towels. Touchless Car wash is not as good as soft brush type they used to have. High pressure water misses in patches. Just doesnt cut the mustard. Wont use it again. Great, smiling, quick, friendly service from counter staff, plenty of parking, 2 bays where you pump up tyres. Well maintained toilets & tyre pressure fittings- thank God no tyre guns to fight with!!!
This petrol station is on the western side of the M4, so if your heading to the mountains it is easy to fill up or buy supplies or even have your car washed. There is no mechanical work done here, but if you want a break from driving and or get some fast-food from McDonald's or Red Rooster or from the Caltex Store onsite. Be aware that the fuel here is usually more expensive but it is a great place if you need to fully top up if you have forgotten. Bring your wallet if you do.
A giant Caltex service station on the M4 heading out West. The usual can be expected from this Caltex, clean store, great customer service, friendly staff, diesel fuel, good coffee and a car wash. The coffee machine is one of the good ones that delivers awesome coffee and for the right price, cafe coffee is more expensive and most of the time it's pretty average but can't go wrong with Caltex Foodary's coffees... Cheers!
Disgraceful customer service. There was one long line at one register. A second server called out anyone not buying cigarettes. Three or four of us moved over to this new line. They served the first gentleman and then told the rest of us to join the back of the original line as they only serve one line. I left my purchase there and went to BP down the road. Disgusting customer service.
Just wanted to raise a concern about Karen ant calte M4 westbound…..she is one of the rudest customer service staff I’ve ever met…she should lucky that she’s still got a job with caltex, otherwise If she worked with me should would have been fired ages ago….Caltex look into Karen’s behaviour as she needs to be audited if not stood down or trained on how to speak or deal with customers.
Bought a packet of Peter Jackson 20's here today for $69.80. I can get the same brand in 25's for under $40 at a tobacconist. I understand that there will be a price hike due to the convenience but this is price gouging at its finest. Can't get us on fuel so attack the average struggling Joe with smokes. I will never go here again even if I am out of fuel. I'd rather walk.
A bit expensive in terms of fuel prices, but love the easy access and cleanliness. I do not know of any other fuel stations that put the windscreen cleaning liquid in the cleaning buckets, although it costs mere cents and adds a lot of value to customer experience but for some reason all other fuel outlets do not simply care
!WARNING! They haven't been showing their petrol prices for months, this is simply because everyone else in the area including the station opposite is charging much less. Without the sign people are driving in in the hope to get similar to near by and being scammed with much higher price for fuel.
I go there usually to fill my truck diesel. Every time i go there 2 old staff’s behaviour is not gud. If u ask any queries there reactions is not gud angry reactions. customer service is not gud. Its gud if they treat a gud smile on any queries. But other things like eatable guds are gud.
Generally the prices here are not good, it's more a "So you're running out of petrol on the M4 like an idiot, are you?" kind of petrol station. Still probably cheaper than diverting to somewhere with better prices and spending 10 minutes getting back on the motorway.
The only petrol station on the M4. Good for a stop before a trip up the mountains - next petrol is Springwood if you're going that way. Get in the left lane immediately after the Prospect Highway on-ramp or you'll miss the off-ramp/entrance
Good petrol. Only problem I have is I carry a ride on mower on a trailer and can't refuel my Ute, jerry cans and mower at the one pump cause the diesel pumps are located closest to the station and you would block access to all.
Great fuel and food shop conveniently placed on M4 westbound. All the usual convenience food range of the shelf, chilled, frozen goods, and plenty of hot food and drinks. Store and forecourt are clean and tidy.
a minute agoNEW First of all staff is not friendly and never have hand towels paper not water for cleaning. When pump is not working they never put signs also toilet is very dirty and smelly.
Plenty of pumps. Separate pumps for trucks. Car Wash. Air pumps for tyres etc. Toilets are mostly always clean. Plenty of snack food in store to choose from. Its a service station!
This has to be the most expensive place to but 98 oct. fuel. The price of 98 unleaded is 40 cents higher than our local service station. Deserves no stars but staff was friendly.
Some of the staff need to exercise a little more courtesy, given the Price of Fuel these days, it doesn't cost anything for respect or maybe it does at A Caltex service centre!
It's a petrol station on a motorway.... You buy expensive petrol here when you are about to run out... Otherwise you would have got some earlier... So it's great for that, 5*
Hands down best butter crossaint in Australia. Didn't think this was possible at a servo. Who is your supplier???!!! Also, great fuel and service every time I have used!
The service is ok. The girl that works there is not really customer friendly. No thank you at the end of transaction no hi nothing just blank stares sometimes
Please fix your air compressors - one completely broken and the other missing lever and broken hose. Otherwise this is convenient but fuel is pricey
Staff are a bit rude and short with customers. It could have been a long shift. But still the staff are the front end and represent the business.
Dont use this servo much but they do have truck fuelung and lpg in thw truck bowsers which.i find handy. Also a McDonald's and red rooster here.
Very helpful especially the manager.Mr Ford was cordial well informed and went above and beyond to make a customer happy and gained our loyalty.
Do yourself and favour and download the Caltex App. It’s so convenient to stop and pay via the app and you’re back on the road within minutes.
We often use it as a rest/meeting spot when on long drives as a big group in multiple vehicles, refill on petrol, get icecream and we are off
Good store, has services for trucks i.e stopping area etc. I had car trouble and was able to pull in here and had space to work on my car.
A necessary stop..at times on the M4..Only issue is you cannot see the Price West Bound until it's too late. So I sometimes miss stopping.
Hard to rate a petrol station high in these times of crazy fuel prices but staff friendly and helpful and a good range of items …
Average service here. The Ampol app doesn't work and the till operator looked like she would rather be at home watching bread rise .
Little bit rude customer service. I think staff think we go there to buy stuff for free and they doing charity work, not a business
BEST SERVO EVER!!!! Ok. That's a lie. It's like every other service station. It does the job. It has Dare iced coffees so it's ok.
Wonderful environment, big station . At night you can have a cup of coffee while you can watch traffuc running on motor way
Always pricey with fuel but when it is always clean and nice people manning the registers so that makes up for a lot
Convenient place to stop for petrol, if not too expensive, a pee (gents' toilets are merely usable), or a quick feed
Worst place I will make sure never to pump or Park my truck here, no toilet service and angry attitude of service.
Never any issues. Plenty of pumps good quality fuel with a good selection of items inside. Always served quickly.
Plenty of pumps and reasonable price. Guy behind the counter had 2 registers going at once. He did a great job.
Fuel stop. Inside has all necessary road stop amenities and fast food. Crispy Kreams are my kryptonite. Dangit
Its a big petrol station. Consistently maintained. The flow of people is quick so there isn't much waiting.
Good for a quick splash-and-dash. Pick up a few grocery essentials to save time, or snacks for a roadtrip
Good, clean, with lots of space for your car. Also has good bathrooms, and you can watch people go kart.
Well located rest stop along the m4. Obe of the very few service stations with decently clean amenities.
I hate having to fill up here only because they are always so much more expensive than every where else.
It's a petrol station and only dropped in as my EV is getting serviced and needed to use the ice car.
Great staff, make sure you are nice to them.. might be busy but it's a long day next to the highway..
Local people supporting local businesses. We owe it to support these franchises. Highly recommend
We always drop in for a fill up the car and 1 self as I say shop with a smile even if it's masked
Like the staff there and the food they have inside. Yummy pies, donuts and great coffee machine.
Just went once when their fuel was the cheapest. The staff that served me was pretty friendly.
Everyone be careful, guys. The toilet door has sharp Niall and make big scratches on my hand .
Expensive But still love not having to go inside with their pay at the pump a game changer
Been to worse although parking is pretty ordinary for trucks if you can get one at times
Great place to grab a bite to eat, stretch your legs. Nice atmosphere friendly people..
Just a heads up wonderful service by the Macca's team, served by a spectacular manger.
HOW !!!??? is this petrol station still allowed to operate ? this place is dispicable
Definitely not a Service Station, toilets never work, no rubbish bins always filthy.
Every browser head every product staff friendly prices were good premises were clean
Typical of Ampol service centers . Clean tidy well stocked and ice cold drinks
Just another fuel stop, but at least the facilities were very clean and tidy.
Good filling station , less waiting times due to more no of filling points.
Convenient. Good to put air in your tires. Expensive products in store.
Good servo. Plenty of items on shelves, ATM, toilets, friendly staff.
Good position for a rest along the m4. Reasonable price fuel as well
Plenty of bowsers but usally little more expensive then other places
Convenient for truck or if you're heading to the blue mountains.
Very convenient got my petrol before the trip to the mountains
petrol price was high and then they charged a credit card fee.
Good, clean, toilet facilities available, good in store prices
Has a vide variety of food and excellent customer service.
They have all the flavours of the new Shine+ energy drink
Ok place. Very hard to get a truck park most of the time.
Don't stop for air here, their tyre pumps never works.
Convenient fuel stop. Cold drinks and friendly staff.
Petrol price ok. Clean toilet. Nice convenient shop.
Ampol service station off M4 easy access and foodary
Not the cheapest, but convenient and lots of pumps
Good clean service station but never have any pies
Great place to get fuel. Lots of different types.
Very large station so dont have to wait in queue.
Very handy location with plenty of fuel pumps.
Quick stop the pay at the pump option is good.
