"Super friendly and very happy staff at this Caltex service station, diesel fuel and the good Foodary coffee machine makes it another regular stop on my journey around Sydney"
Trying to save money as fuel quite expensive today. I was charged mistakenly. Almost double the price I supposed to pay. I tried to call the number their website provided but didn’t received good costumer service. I don’t want to waste my time & effort to undergo long process just for the refund but leaving my honest feedback would atleast give me the right to express my disappointment. Please! Whoever this staff on the morning shift in Ampol Old Windsor, Parklea. do the job properly next time! We are all working hard to pay our daily expenses, to save and to survive. I hope no other will experience the same.
Avoid. Avoid . Avoid if you can. I just left 10 mins ago and i wS told no any discount is allowed from Ampol app, Woolworths rewards or NRMA as it is independent. I was very disappointed of Ampol not to advertise that there is some petrol stations not accepting any of thier rewards as Ampol claiming that it is at any location the discount will be applied. Alsothe recipt says Ampol Parklea not Sunrise .There are alot of petrol stations around the area so I would recommend to avoid Ampol Parklea as they misleading.
I only go here because it is always open and convenient and the female staff are so friendly and fun and courteous. For the first time ever the only man at the counter was not courteous, gave a face like I was an inconvenience and there was not a single action I would call 'customer service'. Now to be fair, it was just after 5am, so he may have been at the end of a long shift, but I still was not comfortable being alone in the shop with him.
I had the NRMA 15 cents dicount voucher which I tried to use for fule at this Ampol location. The person at the counter refused to honour it and said they are not Ampol but a local independent business. I pointed that the big signs in the petrol pump mention Ampol very clearly and are very prominently displayed. He pointed me to a very small 10 cm signage in the store which has some local business name. Stay away from this store if you can.
Super friendly and very happy staff at this Caltex service station, diesel fuel and the good Foodary coffee machine makes it another regular stop on my journey around Sydney. There are a few restaurant's around this service station and a McDonald's... The service station is huge and a great place for trucks to stop as there is plenty of room for trucks to park, grab a feed, rest if needed and get going again. Cheers!
The shop and service is good but this is it. There is something wrong with petrol quality and equipment at this Caltex. My car fuel consumption is higher with this petrol compare to BP or Shell. I dont know if this is specific to this Caltex or all of them. In my opinion Costco is the best if you live close by. If not BP and then Shell. This is all in case if the prices are similar. Do your research first.
This Ampol is always more expensive than other Ampol and major servo's and during the Everyday Rewards promotion periods, I've spent almost $150 on fuel and drinks, only to realise that they don't do everyday rewards on diesel. Seriously!? Should've gone to Ampol Kellyville or others on my way back home from work. Will NOT go there again.
About to pay I tell the guy serving me “Sorry I’m getting my rewards card up” and he nods. After a minute of struggling to show my card on my phone, I go to show the guy my rewards card he has his arms crossed and just smirks “We don’t do that here” Like you couldn’t have told me that when I was telling you I was getting the card up?
Very disappointed in the blatant lies and then getting caught out on the lies. I asked why there were no price tickets for the car products and before the lady could answer me a young man jumped in and said that the products were new when I asked about the products that are older he just apologised. Not very nice to be lied to.
Poor customer experience and they also don't accept any rewards card or discounts. So you go to the fuel because of the Ampol brand name but they don't honor any of it . Plus the management is rude and doesn't treat customers respectfully. AVOID this unless you're driving with the last few drops of fuel and need to fill asap.
The petrol is always at least 20 cents per litre more expensive than the surrounding petrol stations. The cigarettes cost an absolute fortune in this petrol station. Don't buy petrol or cigarettes from this petrol station.. Clean your windows, fill up with water and air in your tyres then leave. They are absolute thieves !
No longer accepting Woolworths rewards for discounts. Had I known, I would have drive 1km up the road to the other Caltex that provides the rewards discount. To be fair the petrol was 2¢ a litre cheaper but I still would have been better off getting 4¢ a litre discount with my rewards. Saving 2¢ per litre.
charged me twice for the same transaction, talked to the manger last week but no response and no refund is issued. Bad experience with them and look carefully at your bills, this place is dodgy. When I talked to the manager today, I was advised 'whatever you talk to ombudsman' but no refund still.
Expect the usual service from another efficient Caltex garage in the north west. Diesel petrol, lots of lollies and other great stuff in thewell stocked shop fast service at the counter many pumps lots of spare parking and right next door to a car wash what more could you ask?
* local * good range of basic essentials to grab on my way home * be nice if they'd a gift section, nice to grab small gifts for family friends on the way to their house or quick gift while filling fuel. * would like it if the stocked more chicken pies , always sold out *
Paying customer for fuel for over 66 dollars. Asked to get money out and she outright said no and to use the ATM even though I was a paying customer. Will not be returning to this service station as the female was so rude. Very disappointed.
Worst coffee to ever get is from this servo. Bought a mocha that didn't have neither coffee nor chocolate in it!! 600ml water bottle for $4.70!! No generic brand bottles as if they force you to buy this one if you're desperate!
The young man that works on early mornings is awesome.Really helpful and Friendly .we get our petrol thursday or Friday mornings between 5.30 and 5.40 hes such a nice guy .Please thank him for me
Totally rubbish service, a man has an attitude never talk polite if u ask him twice, rply badly, refuse to give me milk, coz I ask him how much for 2 bottles, and it was 3:20 in the morning.
Interesting to see they don’t accept @NRMA discounts !! Sounded bit fishy as it is not listed or published on any hoardings there! @NRMA.. please check with your participating fuel stations.
Extremely poor service. The guy in particular with glasses was very rude and didn't seem to have any courtesy. Despite being regular customer, the staff was very unprofessional.
Well located next to Hungry Jack's, KFC and Outback Steakhouse. Also next to a terrific car wash Cafe. Do object to the additional 2.5% surcharge imposed for paying with Amex.
I have graced the forecourt of this petrol station many times and once brought 2 litres of milk. The fuel comes in classic flavours plus an old skool fav....Leaded super!
Easy entry from main road or back street in Glenwood. Easy exit back onto main in either direction. Clean, well lit, efficient & friendly. Also got a well stocked store.
They don't accept discounts from Ampol partners because they allegedly are independently owned. Such rubbish! Rebrand yourself then... Also, they are not friendly.
Always easy and smooth to deal with. Great selection in store. I like that it is not s super chain and I can support more locally.
Service is fine. Doesn't accept Woolworth Points. In and out is fine from Old Windsor Road. Petrol price similar as Hills Shire.
Fairly quick service. Lots of pumps. Air hose usually not working. Doesn't give extra discount for purchases over $5.
Convenient shop for me just up the road beware of them trying to convince you to buy a chocolate bar …
Lots of room if you have a trailer etc. LPG is not squeezed between other pumps and has it's own section.
I’ve had no problems there but I have seen cheaper petrol elsewhere. I’d only go with the discount.
Great Gas Station With Great Service! Love Getting Gas Here! Very Nice Car Wash Next Door As Well!
Great service, always friendly even when you're stopping in late at night/early morning
Very good our singhs social motorcycle club meeting point and always as good as before
Good priced fuel but $4.50 for a can of Coca-Cola , c'mon boss Coke is cheaper …
Always open. Local, Friendly staff. With great selection of snacks, drinks etc
Good the staff member helped me out
The best Ampol station in Sydney.
Ok can be better organised.
