Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other bad reviews: having visited this post office a handful of times, it does seem like a customer is the worst thing that can happen to the employees. And the inconvenience of having to answer a question or do the job seems to cause physical pain. The eye rolls and sighs remind me of a 13 year old having to work at their dads shop when their friends are at the beach having fun. The second star is as I did get my parcels posted so the job was done but only after making me feel like the biggest inconvenient idiot in the world.
They are very unpleasant, uncomfortable if you ask me. They made a few mistakes with me and from what i find out on the other end, one was a photocopy that had a third of the page out of the frame so it was pushed back and i had to go again, carrying my children, so very inconvenient mistake. The other mistake was a missing stamp in one copy out of the 2!! how bad you have to be :( again, pushed back and had to go again. All because is closed to my house and i have toddlers.
Unfortunately the worst post office in the whole country of Ireland. It's one member of staff ruining it, shutting down the post office early (e.g. they should be open until 5.30pm but she closes at 4pm, you get there at 5.20pm when they close at 5.30pm but she tells you she cannot serve you because they are closed), being unhelpful, unfriendly and rude and getting annoyed to do her job in the first place. Absolutely awful service.
Understaffed. Waiting in a giant queue outside the door and I can see only one desk is open inside. It's after lunchtime on a Friday in December, surely the busiest time of year. Complete and utter disgrace, especially as prices have continued to rise. Pathetic service.
Routinely shuts their doors way before the stated closing time (in my experience 10-15 mins, but for others up to 30 mins). The opening hours are already narrow enough, this kind of behaviour only worsens it and for a state-owned service this is unacceptable.
Most An Post offices have really helpful and friendly staff. Not this one. Not only is this An Post very shabby and run down but the staff are very rude. Disappointing when compared to the usual An Post standard
Very rundown post office, some staff are lovely and helpful, others not so much. They also for some reason seem to all charge different prices for the same item including weight and diameter which is strange.
Amazing service. I required a last minute same day visa to travel to India. The team at the embassy were very helpful and got me sorted in time to make my flight! Thanks so much for your help
I was there few times, I'm not sure if they are qualified for their jobs.Very bad experiences with them. Ballsbridge the "fancy" area of Dublin, with the worst anPost of the county.
Acceptable, albeit not exactly pleasant during the year, but in December surly and downright rude. I was appalled today. HINT: the giant queues are NOT OUR FAULT
One of the cutest Post Offices in the world, for sure! Staff is very friendly and is very used to the people who needs to pay fees from the embassies around.
Severely understaffed at peak times, queue out the door most Lunch times with only one stall opened. Will be forced to take my business elsewhere
The person attending me was texting all the time and didn’t speak loud enough so I had to make her repeat everything again. Rude service.
the assistant was very rude to me and unwilling to explain how the post worked, it was as if I should know, always without patience.
They won't answer the phone when I was trying to organise to get a package picked up for Christmas. I tried at least 10 time
Local post office we use with my work place. They meet my criteria that I expect from a post office
Extremely rude, unfriendly and unhelpful blond staff member. No customer service skills whatsoever.
Incredibly rude staff. Unfortunately nothing positive to say about my experience here.
So happy with the service. Friendly staff so patient to answer queries
Girls in this post office are lovely always smiling and friendly
It's a post office, exactly what I expected
No wheelchair access
Friendly staff
Nice Guy
