It blows my mind the prices these volunteers are putting on items. What’s meant to be an opportunity for low income people to purchase clothing and homewares has turned into a profitable scam. With the rising cost of living how are they meant to come in and afford these prices that are on par with retail. Get it together it’s disgusting. Stop filling the pockets of CEOs and start helping the community like you’re meant to. To make matters worse when in the store the volunteers were pricing items and literally laughing at each other about the high prices they are putting on the items. These ladies didn’t even have knowledge on the items worth they said “oh that’s heavy can get a lot for that” then proceeded to put a $60 price tag on the jacket making a mockery and boasting aloud. When did op shops turn into ripping off low income earners and not helping the community. Disgusting behaviour from these staff.

Disgustingly outrageously overpriced op shop meant for people on a low income ….low income poor people couldn’t afford to shop here !!! Clothes donated free with NEW PRICES on them ! I suppose the Christian idea of charity no longer exists for Anglicare it all has to do with ripping people off and PROFITS DISGRACE !!! I work for a living and can’t afford a used second hand shirt here $40 … I saw a used shirt for $40 not even a brand name . Is this shop aimed at high income people? It’s certainly not aimed at the poor and needy it’s just disgusting …. Jesus would be insulted this organisation claims to be Christian !

Good quality and good range of products. Prices have become more reasonable when visited in late March 2023. A good quality t shirt was $9. Dresses were generally $ 15-25. Store was recently relocated to a new location not far from previous one. Staff were friendly and patient on Saturday. There was more space to walk around in store. Easy to get there by public transport. Flat walk from Penrith station. Happy with new location and prices.

I went to look for mens sweaters. I found they are expensive keeping in mind that it is not for profit organization ,getting donated goods. Sweaters if woolen were of 25 to 40 dollars range. We can buy a new woolen sweater on sale for almost this price from market . I guess the mission of the shop is to make profit rather then helping the low income people.

What a wonderful place! I come here every week. There is something for everyone. The items are always good quality and the staff is fabulous. Here are some of the beautiful things I have bought:

Staffed by homophobic bogan. I don't assume Christian charity = bigot so maybe you should warn folks whose $ isn't good enough. A rainbow sticker with a big red X on it in the window maybe ....

This little shop is small in size but expensive on price when did second hand clothing become almost as expensive as the actual retail price. Save your time and money.

This is my favourite Op Shop in Penrith. They always stock good quality items and clothing but more importantly, the staff are super friendly and helpful.
