I want to preface this feedback with we absolutely love the vets here and have been bringing our 3 cats here religiously for the past 4 years. We brought our cat Bandit in for a routine annual wellness exam because it’s required for us to continue purchasing his medication through you. We have spent thousands of dollars on medication for Bandit over the past 2 years through you. I requested for a blood test during the exam because he needs his kidney’s checked for his restrictive cardiomyopathy and had his 6 month check up next week with his cardiologist. I even mentioned to Ashley, our tech, that I liked getting it done with you because it’s much cheaper than at the cardiologist. Dr. Lee mentioned Bandit could have pancreatitis, due to the fact I said he had been drinking more water lately. He said they could check for pancreatitis with the blood test. I am very frustrated by the fact it was not relayed to me that it would be roughly $200 more for that test. For an annual exam, urine specimen, and blood test… I was not expecting it would be $470. $200 more than what I paid last year? I end up spending $500 at the cardiologist every 6 months for his echo, so a “$1000 spend on my cat in a week” realization wasn’t fun. Amanda (I’m assuming it was her when I spoke with her on the phone and recognized her voice) said lab prices have increased and that checking for pancreatitis cost more. I told her my feedback is being more transparent about pricing, because I was honestly shocked at that price. And I never said I wanted a full senior work up for his blood test. To add to the experience, a very rude man was yelling at one of the front desk assistants when I was trying to pay. He was frustrated because the front desk did not communicate that their appt was going to be delayed due to an emergency appt coming in. Another example of poor communication from staff. Because of Bandit’s heart condition I hate to sever this relationship, because you are 2 mins away and it’s very convenient for medication, and I truly love most of the staff. This, unfortunately, left such a horrible impression for me.

I can’t speak more highly of AMCDV. We recently had a surgical emergency with our dog. He was not an established pt at this practice. But we called in the morning and Becky and Amanda were so great at getting us the paperwork and squeezing us in first thing in the morning. Dr. Bower and his tech Alex were excellent. He has impressive assessment skills that speak to his experience. Very thoroughly went over our options and the risks and benefits of each choice. Dr. Lannen ended up performing his surgery, after an impressive coordinated effort by the whole office staff, to shuffle appointments and accommodate my pup’s procedure into an already full schedule. She has many years of experience, and I trusted her skills, and was grateful for these, when his foreign body removal wasn’t super straightforward. Not only it did they save Nimbus from a condition that was likely to have fatal consequences if not addressed, they handled it within their facility, saving my family thousands of dollars compared to what it would have cost us to treat him at a 24 hr vet hospital. Heather (Dr L’s) tech very thoroughly reviewed my pups stay and aftercare plans with me. We are indebted to this office and highly recommend the entire practice.

This place is TERRIBLE. The Vet Michael Lee is REFUSES PAIN MEDS. What comes with cancer? PAIN! He keeps saying my dog isn’t in pain. He wants my dog to die in pain. He gave me anti inflammatory medicine, which does not help with pain. I took her to two other vets and they and IMMEDIATELY they told me my dog was likely in pain and prescribed pain medicine at both locations. They tell you to make your pet comfortable before putting them down but they want your dog to be in pain. How can you make a dog comfortable if they are in pain. My dogs is showing signs of pain, licking lips, panting, and limping but she is still active. I would not recommend taking any animal here. Go to West vet clinic or Acoma Animal hospital. I picked up pain meds from the both vets and my dog is more comfortable. Those vets actually care about the condition of your pet and not money. Hopefully none of you find yourself in my position with them. Be warned.

I would recommend this office without reservation! The doctors have impressive credentials and are conservative in their treatment. They are always cost-conscious and up front with the charges. In addition, communication with the pet parents is thorough and understandable. Affinity for the pets on the part of the doctors and the veterinary assistants is immediately obvious; they handle the pets with care. The services provided go beyond what the usual vet's office does. Believe it or not, they even make house calls! Let's not forget the front office! The office staff is capable, friendly, efficient and made us feel comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. Their scheduling process is such that waiting time, if any, is short. They also do a great job of follow-up. Take a look at their website. You'll be impressed!

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Lee and now Dr. Ford for probably 10 years. They used be located just down the block and now are in my daughter's old Pediatrician's office. The staff is always friendly and courteous even when my older dog had an accident on the scale. When it was time to put down Guinness Dr. Ford was very kind and helpful for my daughter and I. We did not hesitate to bring our new pup in immediately after adoption and the result has been fantastic. The new pup had a few issues that Dr. Ford diagnosed and treated quickly. You look for someone who is knowledgeable, kind, and that will take the time required with you and your pet. These guys and gals do that. I moved farther away from the office and have many more vets closer to me now, but I will travel the extra time just to speak with Dr. Ford.

We just wanted to write and thank Dr. Lee and his staff for taking such good care of us today as we brought our dog Beauty into your office to be put down. It was a very emotional time for all of us as we had Beauty in our family for the past 17 years, esp hard on my son who was 1 when we got her. You all went above and beyond and got us an early appointment as soon as my husband called. You were very kind to us and took us into a private room, so we could grieve in private and gave us our space to make the tough decisions that we needed to make. Dr. Lee was never pushy and let us make up our own minds and then told us how it would work. I just wanted you to know how much we appreciated the way we were treated in such a tough time for our family. Again Thank-You-

I have been going to Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley for close to 20 years – that should speak for itself. Everyone there LOVES each one of our ‘kids’ for who they are! Our ‘kids’ do have their fair share of concerns. The team always makes sure our little ones feel safe and secure while being handled. I appreciate that I am always given options with quotes that are accurate when something needs to be done. While I recommend this location for annual checkups and vaccinations, the majority of the staff is kind and this is a convenient location - they are unable to help my dog when he needs it. This is an important factor for the veterinarian team that I choose and I think it would be important for many potential clients as well. There have been too many times that I am unable to be seen in a timely manner and with a veterinarian report so low I might as well go to a Banfield. There are simply too many other options in Phoenix to recommend this location. Despite any potential growth/new-hires to potentially help availability, it seems like the mission and value here don't align with what I'm looking for.

Dr. Lee performed major surgery on our 14+ yr old dog this week. This is her 4th surgery since she was 4 months old and all have been performed by Dr. Lee. He worked his magic once again and did a terrific job on Sahara, we are very pleased with the results. Excellent work! Abby, Dr. Lee's Vet Tech, is a great asset to his practice. She is very thorough, caring, patient and understanding. It made us even all the more comfortable knowing that Abby was going to be working with Dr. Lee and taking care of our Sahara. You couldn't ask for a better team. The office staff are friendly and helpful. Many thanks to AMCODV for over 20 years of great service. We always recommend them.

Our two large elderly male yellow Labs have been patients at AMCDV since we moved to the area in Nov. 2016. The guys have always had top care, and that's continued at AMCDV on routine, complicated and difficult treatment issues. The professionalism, from front desk to techs and vets, is most impressive, reassuring and helpful, as is the consistent high quality of service, from equipment and lab capabilities to treatment rechecks and phone followups. In their visits to AMCDV, the dogs definitely know they're in friendly, capable and caring hands, as do we. AMCDV's an outstanding, truly personal practice, which we've not hesitated to strongly recommend.

I would recommend Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley . I have been taking my Kitties there since 2010.. Dr .Bower and his staff are friendly, compassionate, and take get pride in helping our animals . I Really appreciate DR.Bower , he goes out of his way to make sure my kitties get the best care needed and is always there to answer any questions or concerns I may have.. Will always give that phone call back if needed.. Dr. Bower will always be the veterinarian For my kitties, I appreciate his honesty and the compassion he has for my kitties.. This office had an amazing team of people caring for animals. The Dr.'s take the time to explain all possible causes of issues with an animal and the treatments, going into depth work possible side affects of both the conditions and treatments. The office is open to you buying supplies elsewhere, even if it's a prescription or another item that they carry, lots of vets do not do this. Many payment options are available, the options are extensive. They truly care at this office and call you to follow up repeatedly to ensure your pretty is in good condition and you're able to reach your goals in their care, no matter how minor.

We are very happy with the care our older dog with a history of some serious health issues receives at Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley. We live part of the year in Arizona and our Iowa provider recommended finding an animal clinic that is AAHA certified. This helped narrow down our search. We also found reviews on the Nextdoor app we decided on Animal Medical Care of Deer Valley and Dr. Lee. Everyone there, the doctor, the vet techs and the front desk staff have been kind and caring and great with our dog and explaining things to us. Feeling lucky to have found this clinic when we moved here.

I have been taking my dog to this vet since 2003. It had always been a great place to take your pet until recently. The staff is very knowledgeable and has always seemed nice especially Dr.Lee. Our oldest dog was given 2-3 weeks to live and 2-3 months on an expensive group of meds. We opted to buy a month supply at vet to see if it helped, it did great. When it came time for another month of meds we found them for half price online. We requested vet to call in the prescription and they told us we now need an expensive blood test before they will call in the prescription. :( disappointed

We've taken our cats to Dr. Lee and Dr. Ford since we moved to Phoenix. If we moved across town, I'd still consider bringing them here regardless of the distrance. Both doctors are great and the staff is wonderful. Our former cat had kidney failure and they did everything they could to find a way to help her survive. Unfortunately, she wasn't responding to the treatment. So, we finally had to "say goodbye." They were extremely supportive and even sent us a sympathy card. I've recommended them to several friends and neighbors and will continue to.

Fantastic experience with this vet! Got my 5 month kittens fixed at a different clinic and one of them started showing signs of irritation 5 days later. The clinic that did the spaying was closed for the weekend and so I called Animal Medical Center of DV and they got me in same day, despite the fact that they were fully booked and I was a new client. I was very impressed with the staff and the service and very happy with the care Dr. Lee provided. Prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend this place for animal care!!

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Lee and Dr. Bower for over 6 years and have always been very happy with the doctors and staff. They have taken really good care of our pets. They are compassionate, professional and truly seem to care about their patients. Due to the pandemic we are unable at this time to accompany our pets in the office for their visits which is something that I miss very much expecially with a new puppy! I look forward to being able to have in person appointments with the doctors in the near future.

Absolutely the best vet office around. We live near downtown Phoenix and it's about a 30 minute drive, but well worth the commute. My dog had an accident and her tooth was jutting out of her mouth. We must have called 15 different vets that Saturday morning and no one could get us in for almost a full month, but the amazing staff at Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley squeezed us in the next Monday. I am always so impressed with Dr. Lee and all of the techs at how caring and professional they are. We love AMC of DV!

I have been going to Dr. Lee as long as I have lived in AZ. I moved here 10 years ago with two dogs and a cat and the transition was hard as both dogs were a bit older. Dr. Lee cared for my pets as if he had been with them all their lives. He always provided the best care possible, along with great advice. He show not only his patient great care, but compassion, empathy and concern for you, the owner. His love for animals and the pride he takes in running a great establishment shines through as soon as you meet him.

We have been with Dr Lee since he first moved to Pinnacle Peak. He is THE BEST! Our 1.5 year old hound dog was close to dying because he ate something he should not have. Dr Lee came in on his day off to do emergency surgery on him. Today less than a week later our Buddy is almost back to normal. We’ve also had two other vets in Dr Lees office treat us and our animals in such a caring way. Everyone is helpful and care so much about the pets and the families. We cannot say enough good things about every one there.

Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley has really impressed me! I've had dogs all my life, and over the decades, have seen many different veterinary offices. The staff here is very dedicated to all. I am especially appreciative of Dr. Bower who is such a straight shooter and honest about my boxer, who has cancer. He has performed surgery on my Jax, and has guided me in realistic future treatment options. Every appointment has been thorough and never feel rushed. I have recommended this place to many friends!

I have a small dog and take him to Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley. When I moved to AZ, I started taking my former little dog there (more than eight years ago) because my daughter had taken her three cats to them for many years. She now has two dogs and continues to praise them highly and I do also. In addition to being excellent veterinarians, the doctors and staff are very good people ~~ sensitive, patient, engaging, and genuinely interested in our welfare...friendly, warm and very efficient.

I take all of my pets (both dogs and cats) to Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley. I love Dr. Lee, Dr. Ford, and all of the staff. They remember all of my pets and are compassionate and sensible. I have a cat that needed medication every day for 2 weeks and I could not handle it alone. So every day, I would take him to the office and they would administer it for me. I feel very fortunate to have found them and if I moved further away from the office, I would travel to keep my pets in their care.

Dr. Lee has been my vet for many years and I know him to be skilled, compassionate and just a wonderful vet and an equally wonderful man. He keeps up to date on changes in methods of caring for various illnesses. My dogs love him. I have not had any experience as yet with Dr. Berman. I no longer allow Dr. Ford to care for my dogs for reasons that I will not discuss. Despite issues with dr. Ford I give this facility 5 stars because of Dr. Lee and the rest of his staff. They are wonderful.

So happy I found this place! The staff is very professional and compassionate! Went to a pet hospital and left my puppy over night for observation 2,000 dollars later no xrays or exams done to give me a diagnosis instead they told me to put my puppy down ! I brought her here for a second option and they were able to do xrays provide me a diagnosis and give me medication to take home with my pet for a very affordable price ! Thank you for helping my pet! I highly recommend this place!

Thank you for giving us an appointment. We had tried 11 others before you offered us to bring our sick kitty in. The exam was very thorough and I appreciated that the Doctor had reviewed the medical records from our other vet. I also appreciated being offered a range of suggestions with next steps from a more conservative approach to one that was more complex. Also thanks for all the follow up calls and messages. It made me feel like you really cared about our sweet kitty.

Want to commend the staff and Dr Lannen for the outstanding care and treatments, to our 2 Great Danes. Since moving back to Phoenix from Chandler, we found Animal Medical Center of Deer Vally, to be the best choice for our veternarian needs. Having studied animal science in college, I can relate to the challanges presented to the staff and they go above and beyound to care for thier patients. Will be recommending the staff and Doctors to friends and family.

I have a Siberian Huskey who is almost 14 years old. She has always received excellent care. I called on Thursday and was able to get her in on Friday morning. Dr. Bower and her Tech (apologize cannot remember her name) were very thorough. She appeared to have hurt her back and could barely move. She was given medication and she is starting to be able to walk and move again. I am so very happy with the service and compassion taken with Princess and myself.

If you are looking for a dedicated, caring, humble and well-educated Vet, then look no further than Michael Lee at Animal Medical center of Deer Valley. He has cared for our dogs for several years and we just love him. He has provided excellent outside referrals when needed and handled our dog's end of life care with such dignity and compassion for both the dog and our family. It doesn't get any better than Dr. Lee. The staff are very friendly and caring.

Recently took our beloved pet in for surgery and everything was a success. She an older dog so we of course we were very worried about our sweet pup. I know they take good care of their patients and our dog was treated with tender loving care. I don't know how the experience could have been better. Check in for surgery was very thorough yet efficient. I was kept updated and informed every step of the way. When I picked Dottie up the post op care was made completely clear and written down step by step. Dottie is doing great 3 days post op. The entire staff couldn't have been more professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. Dr. Lee is a gifted surgeon!

Called to make an appointment for a sick doggie and got an appt that very day. The staff was friendly and courteous. The doctor made a quick and accurate diagnosis and gave me a few options for treatment. Once we determined what to do, the staff completed the visit with the proper medicine and instructions. For more than 20 years I've made the decision for Dr. Lee to take care of my furry kids. I lived in the area of the office when I started with Dr. Lee. Since then I've moved quite a distance from the office. It's never been a consideration to go anyplace else. Through all the stages Dr. Lee and the good people in the office have been there for us. I would recommend Animal Medical Center of DV to anyone.

I took in a stray puppy (6-8 weeks) that a family friend found abandoned in a basket. This was the ONLY location that was able to get me in same day! The vet I dealt with was AMAZING and I will be switching my other two dogs to this location too. They took their time, examined our new family member and went above and beyond to care for this sweet pup. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend

They worked our cat in for an appointment for possible eye infection the next day. We had never been in to see any vets there before, and our own vet didn't offer anything till late the next week. The front office staff was warm and friendly, as was the tech who roomed us. The Vet, Dr Lindsey Elsing, was wonderful and caring also. We will definitely be changing to this office in the future.

We love Dr. Lee and the staff at Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley. We have taken our dogs to him since he opened his original office over here in North Canyon Ranch. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy and caring. He truly loves animals and his profession. Everyone there helped us through a very difficult time when we lost our Lucy and their compassion will never be forgotten.

First visit for my Yorkie, Sage with Lisa Lannen, DVM. I was very pleased with the care and attention Sage received by Lisa and the technician.. I did not feel rushed. Lisa was extremely through on Sage’s evaluation and with addressing her medical care and my concerns. Hopefully we have found a life long veterinary. The office staff is wonderful. Very pleasant and personable.

Dr Bower and all of his staff are above and beyond in customer service. Went on recently for annual on my very shy male dog. Dr Bower has such a calm demeanor and companion for all pets,making what is usually a very trying experience for my dog less stressful. He also indemnified a skin issue I thought I had resolved. Highly recommend this practice. Worth every cent!

Dr. Lee and his staff are amazing! They always fully listen to our questions and concerns and this visit made an exception to talk with us in person due to some real concerns with our new puppy. They are flexible, professional and knowledgeable. We drive 40 minutes to see Dr. Lee vs. going to a different vet who is closer. This staff is worth the drive!

We have seen Dr. Lee for the last 29 years. Dr. Lee has always been kind and loving with all of our pets. He is an excellent Vetrenarian and he cares about pets and it shows! I've been seeing the vets at AMCDV for around 20 years. I've moved about 15 miles away and still travel there for their amazing service. We started with Dr. Lee when he opened the practice, and when he's not available we have had the same, warm service from every doctor there. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the the north valley!

Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley has been our preferred Veterinary for many, many years. The entire staff is helpful and everyone cares about our pets. They never fail to follow up with us after an appointment to see how our pets are doing (dental cleanings, injuries, etc.) following a visit. We love Dr. Lee and and the entire staff.

We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Lee since the office opened years ago. They are so good and caring. I honestly have never had such a great vet. I wish Dr. Lee was an MD and was my doctor, he’s just the nicest guy. Dr. Bower too, he is always great with the dogs. The staff is all very good and professional as well. Love this place!

Very high priced. Wanted $289 per animal for spay. Didn't ask if you wanted $54 microchip, just included it. Long delays between appointments..Soooo many duplicate emails and texts. Went to snip spot over at happy valley..$200 for both animals. Check around before agreeing to anything. Price gouging in my opinion. Will not be back.

We have been taking our dogs to Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley for years and have always been very pleased with everyone from Becky at the front desk who's always on top of things to the friendly and informative Vet assistance. We just got a Schnauzer pup and I wouldn't trust anymore more this company to care for our Zeus!!

Really great staff, reasonable pricing for the most part. They really care about your animal. When I brought my cat Jinx to the vet yesterday they were incredibly loving to my cat the whole time. They really aim to ensure your animal is taken care of. My boyfriend has brought his dog here for the last few years and loves it.

We have always recommended Dr. Lee and staff to all our friends with animals. We have been seeing Dr. Lee since we moved here in 2001. We couldn't ask for a better place to take our beloved pet. Both Vets and all of the staff are wonderful, kind, caring people. We wouldn't take Pepper anywhere else. Thank you!

This place is amazing. Dr Bower and Dr Lee are great. They take time to listen to your concerns and to explain treatment plans and what is best for your pet. They are kind and caring. The staff is fantastic. They are friendly and caring as well. So happy I found AMCDV and a plus is they are so close to me.

Caring staff and willing to answer all questions. They even do follow up calls for routine matters. UPDATE-What great staff and care. They provided wonderfully for our yellow labrador Spice up to her last day. They were so caring and respectful and have a great package for private cremation.

Just changed to this vet due to dissatisfaction with previous. First visit was great with office staff, techs, and vet. Very thorough checkup, not rushed, very informative, talking time to be sure everything was understood, and very fair price. Just what I was looking for in a new vet!

Absolutely loved and appreciated my very first visit here. Dr. Lannen and Kelly were really great and went above and beyond. I am extremely happy with having chosen Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley to take my 13 year old cat to, as she is very special to me. I highly recommend.

Dr Lannen is amazing! She's straight forward and very kind. She's also very fair and does not run a bunch of unnecessary tests or suggest high dollar foods if they are not needed. She kept my cost down for me while still giving my Shadow the best care I could ever hope for. ❤

An incredibly caring staff gives me great confidence whenever I need to bring one of our pets in or when we collaborate on the best ways to keep them healthy. Everybody genuinely cares about their clients and pets and we feel so fortunate to have this practice as our vet.

Very pleased with the care we’ve received for our Beau. They’ve been able to work us in several times when Beau needed to be seen right away. Dr. Lee and Dr. Bower really take the time to listen to pet parents and they are very caring with Beau. Highly recommend!

Today Sammy just needed to have his nails clipped. I was about 20 minutes early but the technician almost immediately came to get Sammy. There was no charge. I am very happy with the loving care at your clinic and will continue to bring Sammy in for treatment.

Dr Lee and his staff have been there for me and my family for many, many years. I trust him like no other. His staff is educated and caring and have always been a comfort to me in good times and bad. I cannot more highly recommend a Vet for any pet.

We always get great service here! The doctors remember and know my dogs demeanor. They provide great care and give you options for treatment with out judgment. They never persuaded costly decisions and always check up on your animals wellbeing.

The staff at Animal Medical Center are excellent! Dr. Bower is a very compassionate Veterinarian and I feel comfortable taking my pet for care here. I have never experienced such great service and would never take my animals anywhere else.

The staff was nice, went late at night so there was only one doctor available so 4 people in the lobby was close to a 2hr, no pet insurance, antibiotics, pain meds, doctor visit $300 something. Worth it if your dog really needs the care.

Wonderful vets and staff. I have always felt they genuinely care about my pets and they have fit us in on an urgent basis more than once. I feel very lucky to have access to such care for my "kids" and highly recommend this practice.

They were all so kind and I felt like the Vet was truly there to take care of your loved ones. If you’re scared about where to take your animal, don’t be with this place. we will most definitely be back as a regular patient.

My options for treating my dog were explained in detail by the doctor, and given to me in writing as well, with cost estimates. Very friendly professional doctor and staff. Very kind to my bull terrier and put her at ease .

The entire staff is awesome! We were looking for a vet close to home & chose Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley. We are happy so far with our decision & will continue care for our puppy Nitro with their lovely staff.

They were able to get me in the same day and very responsive to my pet's needs. The vet even called me a couple of days later to check on my pet. They all are very professional, and I will not ever use a different vet!

The doctor was nice and very sympathetic towards my cat Archie they were able to do a lab result in less than 24 hours and get my animal the medicine he needed in order to take care of his thyroid disease

Dr. Lannen is absolutely amazing. She cares and is very knowledgeable. Questions are always okay and she's willing to explain and take the time needed to make sure your dog is getting the care they need.
