Our first trip was due to an emergency with our cat, Bella. Her mouth was swollen and she was not eating, but we couldn't figure out how or why. We tried another emergency vet but were told it would be hours. When we called Animal Medical Hospital, we were told it could also be hours, but they would look at her upon arrival to determine if it was life threatening. They did check her when we arrived and said it wasn't severe. While we waited for a couple hours, we saw many people come in- some with critical injuries. We observed the friendly and caring nature of the front desk, the techs, and doctors. When Bella began leaking blood from her mouth, the staff grew concerned and saw her immediately. They were able to help her and we really appreciated their efforts on her and those we saw around us. Because of that we switched our regular veterinary needs to this location. Everyone that met Bella fell in love with her sweet nature. When I adopted a dog, Stanley, I also took him there. He is an extremely high anxiety dog and was terrified, so the yearly exam was split into 2 visits. I appreciated their care for him and not wanting to traumatize him further. He was much better the 2nd visit! Sadly, Bella passed not long ago. I called the vet to let them know so we wouldn't get the dreaded "Bella is due..." card. The front desk person I spoke to was very patient and understanding, despite me barely being able to get the words out. Shortly after, we received a condolences card and it even mentioned how Bella was the sweetest girl. We appreciated the card, but even more so that they remembered her. We have had nothing but great experiences with the staff here and will continue to see them. I highly recommend them.
The events that led to our visit here were very emotional, sad and unfortunate, but I am so grateful for this establishment and the people who work here. We live about 45+ minutes away where there are no emergency hospitals for animals. My furbaby who just turned 15 years old a couple days prior to our visit, had been declining in health for a couple of months. On this night, his respiratory rate was way too high. I called on our way to make sure it was okay that we come and the young lady I spoke with, Tara, was so incredibly kind. I was having trouble speaking because I was crying and she was very patient throughout the entire conversation with me. When we arrived, I called and let them know what spot we were at (Covid restrictions and curb service were in place at this time). A very nice young lady came out and got my baby and took him. They called to get some further information about his history and then after he was assessed by Dr. Echols, he called and spoke to me over the phone about his findings. He was very informative. He had a very empathetic and kind tone to his voice. I asked his honest medical opinion and he gave us that. I was faced with the decision no furmom wants to have to make. However, I never want my babies to suffer. Dr. Echols made the process as smooth as such a process could possibly be. He was very sympathetic and wasn’t in a rush to get it done and get us out. Tara came back with my baby and walked us out and now we begin the grieving and healing process. We sincerely thank the staff for all the kindness they showed to us and also to my sweet baby boy. Your amazing work doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.
We came here before for our dog spike never had an issue.. We recently adopted a cat from the humane society and came here because the humane society said she would need another dosage of ear drops for an infection! Obviously with all adoptions from the humane society you receive paperwork and a certificate of sorts for a free exam and $100 off for this specific place it can’t be used nowhere else. We haven’t been here since adopting her so we never used the certificate but we misplaced it from the adoption folder somehow, thinking it was no big deal we came to the appointment anyway because like I said we never used the certificate with them as it was her first appointment and we adopted the cat a week before her appointment so they know we received a certificate for them as all newly adopted pet owners do from the humane society!.. Anywho, we were told we would have to pay , I asked if we did pay and bring back the certificate would we be reimbursed? She flat out said no you would be able use the certificate on the next apportionment tho..Tried our best to get in touch we humane society to prove we have the certification (as if the paperwork wasn’t enough to know we just adopted her a week ago) but we couldn’t get anyone on the phone as the Dr kept hounding us . So we said nope and walked out! I found the certificate when we got home but my fiancé and I agreed not to come back because they weren’t willing to work with us AT ALL well at least the doctor we seen that day, Dr schlong or whatever she was also very short with us from the beginning .. We could’ve just literally went home and got the certificate and came back that very day..
I recently had to put down my 15 year old pup. I am disappointed with the bedside care because I had a senior dog and a new puppy. My senior lost his eye sight and he experienced other issues. I was distraught with the options presented because my senior pup was suffering. 1st - I don’t understand why it costs sooo much to have your senior pup put down when you are a current patient and up to date with all vaccines. 2nd - If you let them know you are putting your long time pup down then someone should follow up just to say we care. 3rd - If you have a puppy that should be taking the monthly treatments for fleas and worms then why do you have to keep going back to only get 1 pill at a time. Poor bedside care because I stated my senior was sick and dying so someone should step up and make a suggestion get 6 months of medication when I kept coming because of my senior or call me after I put him down to ask me how I am doing and how is my puppy doing. My Response to the Owner: I have waited a long time to respond however here it is. I listed 3 issues and you acknowledged 2 of them. Just for the record, the doctor did not call me because there was no records of missed calls on my phone. I checked my phone after you responded just make sure I was not mistaken. I just didn't update this review. The reason the doctor was not able to leave a message was because the doctor did not call me. After you read my review and you checked my records, you could have called me at that time. My number has not changed, that was the point.
I can not express the level of gratefulness I have for this facility and it’s vets and assistants. I took my cat here Friday due to have a urinary blockage. They rushed him and made him a priority. Within a few minutes I had a vet asking me questions and then was immediately put into a room. Unfortunately they had to keep him for a few days but I know that I made the best choice in taking him here. I was so worried and scared but they were so nice and comforting and genuinely meant t when they told me to call when ever I want and how ever much I need to, to check on him. Over the 3 days he was there I called several times and all but one time, I believe the vet assistants were able to transfer me to one of the ICU veterinarians to speak to them directly. Like where else does that happen??? Seriously they were amazing. I went to visit him yesterday and the current vet working spent an extended period of time talking to us and exhaling to us the care that they were giving him. I wish I could remember all of their names, but don’t. The first girl I spoke with was awesome and then a few of the veterinarians that cared for him that I know the names of were Dr. Gerard, and Dr. Havill. You can really tell that everyone here honestly cares about your animal and cares about you. I could go on and on about them for hours, but anyways I am so happy with the care and service I received. Even with it being a 30 min drive I will not take my furr babies any where else. Thanks everyone!!!!!
This is literally the worst veterinary practice I have ever had the displeasure of coming to. My 16 year old chihuahua was bitten by my sister's dog and was bleeding profusely from her neck. We came here expecting, as the name suggests, "urgent care", but proceeded to wait 2 hours to even be called back to a room. The staff show zero sense of concern or urgency. We watched probably 25 people come in and get taken back before we did. Once we finally got taken back to a room, a vet tech looked at my dog's wound, shaved the fur around it, and attempted to clean it, but couldn't because my dog was too upset anytime she'd come near it. She told us she was going to try something else and she'd be right back. An hour later, she came back in the room and told us the vet would be in soon. Another hour later (if you're keeping track, we've now been here 4 hours and still my bleeding dog has not been seen), the vet came in, didn't even clean the wound, and spent 5 minutes prescribing my dog antibiotics and pain medicine. It was another 45 minutes to wait for the medicine. 5 hours and $200 later, we were finally able to leave. What the $200 was for I couldn't tell you - no one examined or treated my dog, and antibiotics and pain meds cost about $20 total. The attitudes of everyone in this place were appalling - not one person apologized for making us wait 5 hours to be seen for a grand total of 5-10 minutes. If you truly need urgent care, avoid this place at all costs.
I’m writing this a little late but this place saved my cats life. I went to VCA originally after my cat was throwing up and not eating. They ended up just sending me home with 150$ worth of random drugs because they still didn’t have a diagnosis for her. The next day I ended up taking her here and within 2 minutes they saw the string under her tongue and immediately diagnosed her. The surgery was 3500 but they were extremely helpful with information about payment plans so I was actually able to afford the surgery that saved her life. They even called me at 3:00 in the morning to tell me that the surgery went perfectly and that my baby was going to be ok. They also gave me an extended visit the following day so I could see her. After she was discharged I noticed (what I thought were her stitches coming loose) but they allowed me to come in and use the checkup that was included in her post care treatment and reassured me that she was healing perfectly. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because a few days ago I noticed a lump on her stomach. I took her to the vet at home and they diagnosed it as an abscess that they believe was due to a suture from the surgery that became lodged in her tummy and caused an infection. She is completely fine now and is on antibiotics. But the bottom line is these people saved my cats life and I will always be so thankful for that. In total I’d give them like 4 1/2 stars if possible.
We had the worst experience at this hospital. We brought our French bulldog that was in labor on July 4th and they refused to do a c section knowing that it is not safe for a French bulldog to naturally have 7+ puppies. They sent us back home and we had to come back 7 hours later to demand a c section because our dog was unable to push any puppies out. 2 puppies died because the mother was trying to push them out for 7 hours straight when a the c section at the time requested could have save time and possibly 2 lives. Dr. Binzer Was extremely rude and kept cutting us off not allowing us to talk and explain the situation. I asked another nurse to watch over my puppies while in surgery because dr binzer had an attitude for some reason. Before leaving while they prep for surgery dr binzer decided to go out her way to come tell me that I can take my dog and leave If I didnt trust her to do the surgery and even then she still decided to cut us off not allowing us to speak to the point where I had to verbally tell her to dismiss herself because we are trying to leave and not argue. Days after the puppies were born I called to get some assistance on an issue that I was having with one of the puppies and they told me to go to care veterinary hospital and did not assist me at all. That puppy sadly died as well. I regret going here and will never come back again. We paid $2528 for this horrible experience
Horrible experience. We took our 8 month old cat here after being referred by our regular vet, when we arrived we were told our cat was in poor health and was in need of overnight care for emergency surgery due to her colon being backed up. Even though two weeks prior our regular vet deemed her in good health. We did not have the large amount of money on the spot and was not given the option of a payment plan or referral to somewhere else that would be able to help us.. So they sent us home and said take her somewhere else in the morning, because of that our cat did not make it until the morning. Not only did she have a clear mark and dried blood from where they took her blood (which no place before has EVER had a problem taking her blood) but she had nonstop diarrhea up until the moment she decided enough was enough. She passed away soon after leaving out of their care, not even a night passed. We’re now attempting to figure out where they went wrong but we are 10000% sure this was not our kittens time to go. I am so disappointed and distraught about not only the situation but the way we were treated which I can only assume to be because we weren’t financially fit. Never again.
We have been taking our two dogs here since moving from Florida about a year ago. The dedication these people have for our pets is second to none. Our pups always get super excited when we board them here to go on vacation. The most recent happening was when our dog "Tonka" was vomiting, not eating or drinking. Upon taking her into the urgent care we were left with a few options, two of which were for her to go into surgery or uthenize her. We opted for the surgery in hopes that the problem would be resolved. After completing the surgery they had found that "Tonka" had eaten a string of some sort which had wrapped around her intestines. They removed the string in two incisions and "Tonka" stayed with them for about 3 days until she was able to eat again. We are very happy with the outcome as "Tonka" is back to living life as if nothing ever happened. Everyone at this facility is very caring, knowledgeable and professional. The surgery did cost a bit of money but it was so worth it to keep her alive. Everyone who works at this facility is the best of the very best and our family will always be forever thankful.
Yikes... I am NOT sure how this place has so many positive reviews. After having 3 dogs of my own, I have never experienced such a terrible emergency vet before. Came here on a Sunday because my dog’s paw was bleeding out. As we’re bringing her in, the 4 people at the desk with only a couple others in the waiting room could care less. Wasn’t offered a rag, water for our dog or anything - just “take a seat and wait.” While we were waiting for over two hours as our dog’s paw is bleeding all over the floor and she’s crying in pain I asked several times to at least get a rag for her paw, water, see a vet tech.. ANYTHING and not a single response for help, the 4 front desk staff were more concerned discussing their weekend plans. Finally got to be seen after 2 hours of waiting and the vet was 0 help. Didn’t bandage my dog or tell us she gave them medicine that night. We also witnessed their “daycare center.” Dogs are just left out in a large glass box to sit there barking at people in the waiting room for over an hour. Do NOT bring your dog here if you’re looking for people who actually care about animals.
Dr. Helen Wright is our veterinarian, and she was so incredibly kind, gentle with our cat, and knowledgable! She took her time, never rushed through anything, and answered all questions thoroughly. We asked about diet, behavior, and general well-being, and she gave concise, well thought out, and easy to understand answers. Our cat was immediately comfortable with her, and Dr. Wright made it very clear that safety and loving care were her goals. She wanted to bond with our cat, which made us feel like we weren't just a random patient, but rather a close companion. Callie assisted us as well along with Dr. Wright, and she was also very nice. She answered questions, and did her best to make our cat feel at ease in the exam room. She gave treats, and pet our cat, all with a smile on her face and with a warm demeanor. The staff at the front desk were all fantastic as well. Brent checked us in/out, and he was very friendly and welcoming. He made me feel like he was welcoming us to his home, and not just his workplace. I highly recommend this team, especially Dr. Wright!
I have been a client of Animal Medical Hospital for almost 10 years now. I had an animal emergency 9 years ago, and had to make a very late night visit - they were one of the only animal hospitals open. Unfortunately, I lost my precious little cat. The staff treated me so compassionately in how they cared for my cat and me as well. They sent me a beautiful sympathy card and little paw print decoration, and even made a donation on behalf of my pet to a University Veterinarian Department. That was such a thoughtful and compassionate thing to do, that I immediately began taking all of my animals there, and made them my regular animal hospital. That was 9 years ago, and I don't regret the decision. The entire staff there, from the front desk representatives, to the Vet techs and Veterinarians are all so very nice and give the best care. Everyone there is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend everyone make Animal Medical Hospital their primary care facility for all of your precious pets. They are the greatest!
Dr. Andersen is the best general practice vet. She is kind, compassionate, and always works WITH us to find the best solutions to our pets' health needs. We have taken all of our pets to her for quite a while, and she has been there through it all (from puppy wellness checks to euthanizing our senior pets). She is very knowledgeable, patiently answers questions, and is great at explaining what's going on and the game plan to care for our pets. She also knows when to refer out to a specialist, if needed. We have also seen other vets at AMH over the years (for those times Dr. Andersen couldn't get us in and we had an urgent need) , and they were all great, too. Their prices are higher than other vets on town, but there is a reason - they provide outstanding care. We had a cat that lived to 17, one to 19, and a dog that lived to 15 (despite serious kidney, liver, and back problems). Thanks to AMH and Dr. A, we had more QUALITY time with our fur babies. I highly recommend them.
My experience here is something i will always remember. The staff was so kind and compassionate and sympathetic with my husband and I. Our cat Lucy had to sadly cross the rainbow Bridge and be with her sister Shelby in the next life. She had a tumor and possible collapsed lung and operating would have a ver low chance of survival and living a normal life so we had to let her cross over. Despite this being a very difficult time for us the staff harrass me about payment or rushed us which i am so grateful for. Few years ago our cat Shelby had heart failure and had to cross the bridge and the front office staff that treated us back in Pittsburgh(this was different vet office). They harrassed me with payment, rushed us, and wouldn't let us grieve. The only person who treated us with some humanity was the vet. So when it came lucy, here i was blown away with the exceptional quality of the staff, vet, care etc. Thank you for your help and care our family truly appreciates it.
We just moved to Charlotte right after the holidays and hadn't gotten around to finding a vet yet. My eldest cat, who is about 8 years old and missing several teeth, started to get sick and was not eating/drinking. She tends to chew on tape/plastic so we assumed she might have eaten some. We called our old vet and they suggested we wait another day before taking her in since it may be something she can pass. When she didn't get better, we searched for a vet close to us and came across Animal Medical. I called while on the way and they were able to get my information in and were ready for her when we arrived. They were very transparent about the estimated time and cost. They decided to keep her overnight but kept me informed on any changes - they even sent me a few pictures of her! The friendliness and compassion of everyone involved was amazing - I had no doubts that she was in good hands! I will be using this vet for all of my fur-babies!
I watched this place tell my cousin he had to wait 4 hours before his dying cat, who was showing really obvious signs of distress, could be seen. There was zero situational awareness and emotional awareness. There was zero urgency. They made my cousin irate and only made it worse instead of using common sense. This is an awful place. We then went up the road and were tended to within seconds and they were baffled by what we told them happened here. You don't tell someone you're calling the cops after he was mislead there with no warning of any wait time (let alone FOUR HOURS) by your phone staff when their pet is dying. You are showing ZERO compassion. They didn't even look at the cat to assess how bad he was doing. The place up the road looked at him within two seconds and got him help immediately. It was that obvious. Learn how to prioritize based on the severity of the situation. Disgusting place. Disgusting people.
I have never done this but the service at Animal Medical Hospital warrants an updated review. I cannot recommend Animal Medical Hospital enough! We have been regular patients since our cat was diagnosed with cancer several years ago and have been back frequently as she was recently diagnosed with diabetes. We had a routine exam today and the staff were phenomenal - as always. We're there every month for blood work and we have yet to meet a single person who didn't take extra time to answer all of our questions or sooth any concerns we have. Our family can't thank you all enough. --- We have an older cat who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Every staff member we came in contact with ---whether is was 11AM or 3AM-- were very nice and helped put us at ease. The staff took great care of both us and our cat. As of this month all of the cancer has been removed. I cannot recommend them enough. 10/10 would go back.
Our dog started to have gastrointestinal problems so we initially called the vet we have been taking our dog to for over four years at 10am when the problems started, and they would not be able to see us until 5pm later that day. With this being an emergency situation, we could not wait, so we gave this vet a call to see if they could help us. Not only were they able to see us immediately, but they were super professional and attentive. They followed every Covid safety protocol while making sure our pup was taken care of. Dr. Lopez and the nursing staff examined our dog and gave us a diagnosis and treatment plan all in a matter of 30 minutes. I also was expecting an outrageous price, but was delightfully surprised at the reasonable cost of care that included special needs boarding and medication that our dog needed. Safe to say we will be switching from our current vet to Dr. Lopez and team!
I took my dog here for 10 years of her life. It’s nice that they are open on weekends but they go through veterinarians in frequent cycles. I got my dog’s teeth cleaned, at their recommendation (>$1000) and they seemed laser-focused on getting me to have that procedure done again every visit after that. My dog developed severe mobility issues and they offered little advice in that regard but they certainly did recommend another teeth cleaning. That was my last visit to this veterinary clinic. I took her to some other vets and specialists after and they noticed many signs right away that point to possible causes of mobility problems. These signs had been apparent for many years and the vets at Animal Medical Hospital always told me that they were normal and not to worry. She was my first and only dog. I guess you live and learn. I wish I would’ve changed vets much sooner.
Dr. Lipsett and the team at Animal Medical Hospital are wonderful. With covid you feel a little lost sitting in your car and not being able to go in. The team here understand details. They pay attention. They care. They are informative and understand that upfront cost discussion is important. No steps are missed. The file of your pet is reviewed prior to them coming and getting your pet so they know what to ask when they come to the car. It gives you an incredible peace of mind that you aren’t starting over every visit. Test results are provided quickly and easily sent to other offices for specialty services. I can’t say enough about the service that is provided. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced and I don’t know that we will ever go anywhere else. Doesn’t hurt that my dog remembered the vet after 1 visit and was so happy to see her and she got a kiss. ❤️
My wife said everyone was nice and professional... But Pre-diagnosis - I don't know X-rays only - $800 Conclusion - I don't know, but you may need to return tomorrow for us to do the same thing again... That seems like a lot of money without any answers. Is this normal? Proceed with caution, unless money isn't an issue. UPDATE: In other notes, I have requested a copy of the X-rays in case of emergency and to share with my home vet. I received them 48 hours later. They told me that they had not been able to access them since BEFORE my dog received his X-rays. I now have further concerns on how my $800 was spent. I received no answers to my dog's health except shoulder shrugs and my X-Rays may not have even been monitored. Is this why they were inconclusive? I feel taken advantage of I am fortunate that my dog's health didn't continue to decline.
Got a complimentary visit through a recent adoption with HSC (Humane Society) - I wanted to take advantage of $100 free vet credit and took my new cat to them to give her a booster shot and check her incision from being spayed- We had a great experience - the vet took her time and answered all our questions- the front desk staff were nice also - they even helped me take advantage of using my credit by purchasing kibble with the balance- I realize in reading the reviews that others in the last couple years have not had good experiences and I wonder if this vet could address how things may have changed because I really do not have a single thing to complain about. I want to bring my other two cats here but a little worried about how the experience may be when it’s not a quick/easy checkup etc or a complimentary/ new patient visit.
Our Penny girl sees Dr. Flood quite often for a chronic illness and she gets treated with THE best care. I never have to worry when I leave Penny there. She can't be around dogs and they accommodate her without a second thought and treat Penny like they would their own. I couldn't get Penny into a groomer due to her being unable to get vaccinated and they made special accommodations for her to be the first one there in the morning to be groomed so she would not be around any other dogs and put her in a nice room alone. Dr. Flood always listens and answers all of my questions. Dr. Flood also loves Penny just as much as we do and always comes prepared with next steps and is willing to call us at any time of day to give us updates on bloodwork. THANK YOU for all you do for our Penny. We appreciate the care you give to our girl.
The absolute kindest, most professional and brilliant team I’ve had the honor of being a part of as a pet parent. So much compassion radiates through the team here. I brought in my very, very sick cat and was seen immediately on a Sunday morning. Tears in my eyes, to receive a very poor prognosis for my pet. The bedside manner, specifically from Dr. Taylor, was nothing short of professional, compassionate and caring. My experience was divine intervention from God and I could see the care and respect they had towards life. Life for people and life of a pet. I have nothing but gratitude for this team. Such a blessing to have my pet in good hands although the ending was not what anyone had wanted for our sweet pet. Thank you to this team and I would recommend this animal hospital over and over again. Beyond a blessing.
Came with my dog as a walk-in came prepared for a wait. I waited in the lobby for an hour and a little, my dog started barking so I got put into a room, 4 hours past, no one came to check on my animal during this time. Then I called the front desk just asking for a timeline, kept getting told I was next, another hour past, finally get exam, get told I'll need sedation, and I can leave and come back, but ill need to sign things first OK. Get told they'll be right back, another hour past, go ask front desk what's up, get treated like I'm asking for crazy things. I understand there's a lot going on, I'm just asking for a timeline so I can semi plan the remainder of my night. Total time at the vet? Around 9 hours for a simple nail pull . Probably won't come back unless I have to. I don't suggest you come here.
Incredible staff. We've taken generations of dogs to Animal Medical for years and have had nothing but great experiences. We also utilize the grooming, boarding and day care facilities frequently. It is so nice to know that your dog is at a facility that staffs great vets 24 hours. If anything were to ever happen they immediately pull them to the medical side. The boarding and day care staff are amazing. They love our dogs and know them well. On the medical side we see Dr. Bridgette Andersen who we absolutely adore. She is so kind and patient which is saying a lot because we have a very wiggly Pug. We are so pleased to call Animal Medical our dogs only veterinarian. They definitely go above and beyond. Give them a chance if you are looking for great people that truly love your pets.
We have used Animal Medical Hospital off and on over the last 3 years only because it is clear across town from where we live. However, our experiences with the vets there has always been excellent. Our beloved Schnauzer of 13 1/2 years was very ill and the vet we were using kept putting off an X-ray and finally we took him to Animal Medical Hospital. The Vet immediately ordered an X-ray and found a large mass in his stomach- cancer. We had to make the hard decision that we didn’t want him to suffer. The vet was so kind and loving to us and our dog. I really appreciated her concern. We did adopt another dog and just took her there for a full exam. Once again the vet was very thorough. We have switched to Animal Medical Hospital for future vet care for our dog.
I had a vet voucher to take a pet into them and had a cat that had a really bad upper respiratory infection. I assume they have vouchers because their office is really unkempt, the staff is rude, and they probably need the clients. I was 2 mins late past the grace period because I had personally spent the night in the emergency room prior to my visit. I was told I had to pay the emergency fee to be seen since I was late and was treated very poorly. They were super rude right off the bat. So I called my vet, Independence Veterinary Clinic and explained to them what happened here and they comped my visit to make sure my cat was taken care of and apologized for what I had to go through. I should have never even came to this vet solely because of the voucher.
My 12-year-old lab/shepherd mix ate a small pile of dirty laundry while I was at work. For the next few days she couldn't keep anything down. She was so, so sick. I rushed her to the hospital when she wasn't acting like herself. They got her in surgery in less than two hours. The surgery was pricey, but that's because they had to go into her stomach and small intestines. They did offer several payment options though! Which I really appreciate. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with this place. A plus is that it's never crowded when I go in there-- they seem to get people and their pets into a room very quickly. They are efficient, kind, knowledgeable, and comforting. They saved my sweet dog's life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I took my dog here last night. And she has never been sick before. She was having trouble breathing. They took her back and left her there and came to us about what they was gonna do and refused to care for her until they made sure they was gonna get paid. My dog was in there suffering and all they cared about was money. And my dog died after they gave her a shot to calm her for x-rays after leaving her suffering for 49 minutes to get paid first. So if you care about your pet do not take your pet here. They are the most disrespectful heartless ppl I have ever met.Dont bring your pets here they will kill them and act like it was not there fault . I have had my dog for 13 yrs and they killed her in minutes and handed her to me in a bag.
When I first went to the hospital, it was because my 7 yr old pitbull mix was sick and I didn't know why. She wasn't eating, she was vomiting and was very weak. She had cancer, and the level of empathy and care with the next set of decisions was very comforting. She was euthanized, and the process and follow up was shocking in the best of ways. My family received a very nicely worded card and at that point I knew if we were to ever adopt again, this would be my place. That was in 2014; we adopted in 2016 and the level of care our Lizy has received is outstanding. She's a handful, but the vets and techs know her loving personality and she loves them all. Thank you for everything that has kept our furry baby girl with us.
Dr. Flood and Dr. Bishop, along with the team at AMH, gave my diabetic cat the best care possible while she was sick. She unfortunately passed peacefully at home due to severe complications from DKA, but nevertheless I was so happy with the care she received during her stay. We were constantly informed of what was going on, communication was always clear. We could call at any time and get an update on how she was doing. They made daily visits a priority and made sure we saw the doctor every time for more information on next steps and treatment going forward. AMH gave my cat the best care possible during her stay and we couldn’t be more appreciative of their kindness and passion for their patients wellbeing.
I had a very horrible visit when I rushed my dog to be seen for a seizure she had, I knew I didn’t have any funds to pay for the care or for them to treat her at the time but told them I would have money Thursday. They were very rude to me, and kept trying to get me to surrender my fur baby to them. They said she needed hospitalization but she is doing just fine since I brought her home. They also have on the paperwork stuff about euthanizing her,. I highly don’t recommend bringing your pet to this place. They are very rude, they will totally make you look bad if you aren’t doing good financially. I will NEVER be taking any of my fur babies there again. They have lost my services completely.
Dr. Erin Thomas was amazing when I brought my beloved kitty, Ella, here. Ella had a stroke that she did not survive. The professionalism, kindness, and empathy that Dr. Thomas showed was exactly what I needed. She also was very willing to answer questions I had after I left and was very considerate of my concerns. She is the best veterinarian I have experienced... I would recommend her to anyone!!! The reason I gave 4 stars is that the front desk staff could be friendlier and more personable. I was also mailed a sympathy card and laminated paw prints of Ella - which I love!! It was such a thoughtful gesture to remember an animal I loved so dearly. I framed the paw prints - Thank you so much!
Dr Lipsett is the best vet I have ever been to. Our cat loves her! He was adopted from animal control and we received a voucher to this hospital. We’ve had such a great experience I will be taking my other 2 cats to her in the future. The staff is very friendly and take the time to answer our questions. Our pets are our family and they provide the quality of care and compassion I want for them. It’s easy to get appointments and comforting they are open 24hrs for emergencies. The vet is so knowledgeable in not only medical issues but also in animal behavior which is very important to me. We are so thankful for her care for our cats and I can’t recommend her enough! —Chelsea & Nate (& Lynx!)
I have been going here for prob 15 years and i truly feel Covid has affected this business. the front desk is Absolutely horrible. the drs are wonderful but it is the front desk that doesnt understand how to perform customer service. I called at 7am due to the fact that my dog could only walk on 3 legs he hurt is back leg i was told if i came in before 9 i would be turned away and not seen. are you not an emergency vet. how disgusting to say you would be turned away??? you are in a business you should be compassionate for owers who have sick dogs. you have a sign that says 24 hours, false advertising. i am sad to say after 15 years we will not be returning.
I'm a first time pet owner. I searched around for an emergency vet late night after my 5lb dog took a fall and started limping. I was given advice on what to do over the phone. I liked the fact that they didn't sound money hungry like some of the other clinics I called previously. I scheduled an appointment with the hospital for the following morning. Their friendly staff greeted me and my pet with a warm welcome. We were taken into an exam room within minutes. The doctor took her time doing the exam and explained in detail her findings and concerns. We mapped out a plan and my dog will be a long time patient of this place!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!!
1 star review is for the Front Desk Staff. Every time I call I either get hung up on on the first try or I’m placed on hold for an extensive amount of time. I’m also always declined for boarding or day camp even weeks in advance due to max capacity. I haven’t been able to get my dog in for camp in MONTHS because the front desk always tells me “unfortunately no we don’t have room”… mind you, they don’t even proceed to offer me a waitlist in case someone cancels. The vets & vet techs are always super attentive and friendly, however, the front desk is another story and they seem to be the gate keepers on whether your pets can be attended to or not…..
My friend went to get her dog, Jax, checked out and after many tests they bluntly told her she just needs to put Jax down. They had no emotion, didn’t care and said “we’ll do it today.” They didn’t even give her a second to breathe on the information. She returned the next day to put her precious Jax down and they just cared to only ask for payment after they said payment would be taken later. Lastly, she paid for a paw print of Jax he was gone for over a week then when she picked up the paw print it was wet! They gave her another dogs paw print! Its disgusting. I can’t speak for every experience there but Jax and his mother deserved better !!!!!!
Our dog Max took a fall from about five feet and was clearly in a lot of pain. We brought him to Animal Medical Hospital to be seen. The staff were all amazing and the vet who saw our dog, Dr. Oberst, was kind and compassionate. Max ended up having a fully fractured femur and Dr. Oberst helped us get set up quickly with an orthopedic surgeon so that we can get Max onto the road to recovery. They are amazing. Know that it may take many hours (4+), but this staff is doing everything they can to treat critical and non-critical animals in the middle of a pandemic, so give them a little grace and maybe take a few snacks in the car with you.
I have been going to this facility with my cats for a few years. I really really like the people who work there. The front desk people are friendly; the vet technicians are too. And Dr. Ashley Gray is simply excellent. She wants to be there, she knows her stuff, she is excellent at customer service and explaining medical stuff. It is also very obvious that she has a love and respect for animals. She and Ms. Katie helped me recently with my cat's visit and I am so grateful to them. Thank you Dr. Gray, Katie and the rest of the staff! They always help me learn how to best take care of my pets. And my pets are super important to me :)
This animal hospital should be closed for malpractice. They sent our dog home with unexplained cuts and secretly stitched these cuts closed without our approval. They never mentioned what had happened until the cut got infected and we asked what happened. They wouldn’t accept responsibility and said maybe our dog cut himself on a fence. They also said they fixed our dogs eye but it was so poorly done that we are taking him somewhere else to have it redone. While in the waiting room of new hospital, we ran into a lady who had had the same terrible experience that we had at Animal Medical Hospital. I would never take my dog back!!
We come from Rock Hill SC up here because we are very pleased with the care they give to our baby. They do not rush us they take their time and we asked as many questions as we want. If that person can’t answer they get someone who can. We started coming here 7 years ago when we moved here because we needed a dermatologist for our baby Chelsea and after we lost her to cancer and a year later got our baby Harley we decided to return here even with the drive here no need for a dermatologist we still chose to come back to this veterinarians office because of their devotion to their patients. I highly recommend this office. Debbie
I took my Dog here 11/06/2023 and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any animal, hospitals or veterinarians…… I did a bunch of test on my dog, recommended committing her to overnight stay to do more test couple hours after I left I received a phone call saying my dog needed a $10,000 emergency surgery or thinking about having her put to sleep so we declined both options brought her home to take her to a regular veterinarian and the majority of the information I received was blown way out proportion… Also I had to basically break my 3 kids kids heart Buy telling them that The Dog they love might not come Back home.
I hate leaving semi negative reviews but this was the first time I’ve ever been to this facility and I was a bit disappointed. It seemed very chaotic in the lobby and a receptionist was very loudly complaining about a phone call she had with a customer. I completely understand people being difficult but there’s a professional way to go about it. I also left before my dog could see a vet. I don’t mind waiting as a walk in but a customer came in about 2 hours late for his appointment and normally that would mean you missed your spot and are now first come first serve but they saw him before any of the other customers.
Sitting here with my cat with a hole in her throat for no known reason to me. This woman is extremely rude and getting short with families. People are actually trying to make appointments because they are tired of waiting. I really think that more doctors need to be available. They list 12 veterinarians. I've seen 2, heard of 1. You call and they tell you all these fabulous upgrades they've made to the facility. That doesn't matter if there is no one to care for your animal. They said 20 minutes when I called. Now I've been here almost 2 hours and all that's been done is a picture of the hole in her throat.
Since the first day I brought Zeppelin to Animal Medical Hospital I knew that this was going to be our go to place. If Zeppelin and I could give this place more than five stars we would. Dr. Echols is AMAZING! He genuinely cares about each pet and their owners. He always answers my concerns and is very transparent when it comes to treatments that are needed. Dr. Echols is honestly the only veterinarian that my puppy gets excited to go see. Any other time he has had to see another veterinarian he’s always been very skittish. We hate to see him go but we wish him nothing but success and happy wagging tails!!
On Monday Jan 17 I came into the facility at 6:26pm with my dog. She was bleeding out of her bottom and throwing up bile with blood in it. I watched animals go back and I understand the value of the work. After waiting until 10pm and no one in the front area because everyone went home. The last conversation with the front desk was at 8:20pm, she let us know that she was leaving but will inform the back we were still waiting. Long story short we left and was able to find a location that could see my dog. She had a blockage in her intestines, bladder stones and a UTI. Upset to say the least!!
My 13 lb toy Aussie got bit multiple times by a copperhead snake last week and we rushed her here to get her treated because of their 24/7 urgent care. I was very impressed by how quickly they were able to get her in, evaluate her, and begin treatment. The vets called and updated me at the end of their shifts several times every day like they promised. Although it was very expensive, I can't thank them enough for their prompt care and expertise that saved my dog's life! She is finally on the road to recovery after we weren't sure if she'd be able to pull through for a day or two. Thank you!
First time visit the day before Memorial Day since my old pup decided to injure herself. Was turned away from several other emergency clinics that morning (I get it, it was -of course- a holiday weekend and the veterinary field is in crisis), but AMH not only got me in, they were able to slide me into an actual appointment slot while doing non-stop appointments with other clients the whole time I was there. The building was clean and staff was lovely, quick and efficient. The prices were definitely not as bad as I was expecting. Would highly recommend to other pet owners for medical care!
we went to the animal medical hospital & 24 hour urgent care on monroe rd. that’s where the shelter gives to a $100 voucher to go to when you adopt. 100% recommend. they did her exam, an ear cleaning, ear cytology, put meds in her ears to treat the yeast & bacteria, prescribed pain meds for her leg & a nail trim. all i paid (which wasn’t covered by the voucher (it says that on the voucher as well)) was $43 for her pain medication & there was even some money left over on the voucher for my next visit. they were SO professional, took their time & extremely thorough. 100% recommend.
Our beautiful, sweet Tucker’s diabetes started its final attack on his little body late Friday night and by 6am Saturday we knew we needed help letting him go. I called our vet, they were closed for Labor Day weekend. I called another vet who suggested Animal Medical Hospital and we are grateful today for that. They showed care and compassion from the moment we got there, we needed it too! Dr. Polen was so gentle and kind. We had Tucker’s sister with us and she was caring for all of us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so gentle with our Tucker and kind to us.
My dog woke up very sick one morning - took her in and the staff here were beyond anything I could've imagined - She ended up having emergency surgery that night. The vet herself called and let me know everything that was happening, and had her nurse update me every step of the way. They encouraged me to come see her if I wanted to, whatever would make me comfortable, and they answered every question I had as many times as I needed to ask them to feel comfortable. They saved my dogs life. Genuinely precious people who will love your pet as much as you do. HIGHLY Recommend!!!!
I waited two months for an echocardiogram appointment for my dog with the cardiologist, just for me to call a week prior to confirm my appointment time and them notify me she retired last month! I waisted so much time getting records transferred and the referral confirmed and feel terrible my sick dog waited soooooo long for a procedure they have available online but no longer offer! I wish I could give a no star review! To make a sick animal wait in vain is disgusting and deplorable! These people don’t care about your pets. Please run, don’t walk away. Go somewhere else.
Our dog had a severe, dangerous intestinal block and may not have survived without the comprehensive, thoughtful intervention she received at AMH. The entire staff was compassionate and professional. We were kept well informed at every point in the long ordeal, with accurate cost estimates. The fact they were open and ready to do complicated procedures even on New Year's weekend is remarkable and the price was still very reasonable. Cannot thank or recommend them highly enough. Oh and also, dog owners reading this: please don't ever give your dog cooked ham bones. :)
I have taken my dog they’re sedated to get his toenails cut and they charge me $24 now that’s according to one person now if you talk to another person today it cost $40 now another thing is with this place is on their website to get a dog groomed. It specifically says $45-$65 so my 10 pound dog food cost 65 is what Haley told me my 50 pound dog would cost $80 false advertisement and also nobody knows correct pricing. They are there just for the money, money money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money don’t take your animals there they rip you off.
Last night I took my very sick dog into the emergency clinic. They started checking me in but realized that my dog was in distress, they dropped everything and took her back. My dog was having congestive heart failure. They kept her calm and on oxygen until I could go back and say bye to her. I stayed while they put her to sleep and they were so loving and compassionate and caring to me and my dog. I left with a paw print of Mia that they made for me. So sweet and kind of them! I would highly recommend them if your dog is having a medical emergency.
I first visited Animal Medical Hospital after finding a lost dog on 4th of July Weekend. They were incredibly helpful with talking me through what to do, scanning for a microchip, and contacting the owners. After that, I started bringing my cat and dog here for all of our vet care. We've been in for regular exams, surgery, and urgent care visits, and every single time the staff is kind, thorough, and efficient. They are always able to answer questions and provide expert advice and do everything they can to make my pets happy and comfortable.
Probably should have taken the time to read the reviews on this place before heading over there. Absolutely terrible service at the front desk! After a 6 hour wait (which was supposed to be 4 hours initially) we were still not seen by any Vet doctor for an urgent care matter for our pet. The lack of communication is horrific and frustrating. Complaints to the NC Vet Medical Board as well as the AAHA for unmet standards should be filed on this facility. Definitely do not recommend to waste your time here for any urgent matters for your pet.
My dog has been having reoccurring ear infections. I have had poor responsiveness and inadequate help from the vet I was previously going to so I came here in the hopes of finding better care for my pup. Dr. Echols was so wonderfully pleasant and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I appreciate his excellent bedside manner and his attentiveness. That’s really all you can ask for when it comes to ensuring your dog gets the best care. Also - the vet tech was also super friendly and nice but I didn’t catch her name. Thank you so much!
Absolutely fantastic. This is a well organized place and the staff are friendly and awesome. My dog is very particular, and he loves to board here. This is the only place he comes back from after boarding and is his normal self (the staff actually really do love the animals). Also, Amanda has groomed our pup a couple times and she has done a fantastic job. She did everything we asked for how we asked, followed all of our specific requests, and he was done way earlier than expected even though he is very work-intensive. Thank you guys!!
Animal Medical Hospital is the only facility in Charlotte where I would board my two dogs because they offer medical boarding for dogs with high anxiety, risk of escaping a kennel, diabetes, heart problems, etc. You must have an appointment with a vet from Animal Medical prior to medical boarding. This helps the veterinarian see why the dog needs medical boarding. In medical boarding, there is someone with the dogs or very near, 24/7. I thank Animal Medical's staff for their kindness and for how they take great care of my girl, Zoey.
My Missy was in shock. I quickly grabbed her and rushed her to this facility. When I arrived, they took her immediately to the treatment area and revived her! Dr. Morris is wonderful and is an excellent clinician! She was compassionate and communicated clearly the treatment plan for my precious little senior beagle. Thank you so much team for caring for my Missy! I appreciate your willingness to help and your professionalism! I will aways remember how you made me feel which is the most important aspect of any service business!!
My little guy went in with swollen eyes, which leads to a pretty scary and invasive exam for him. The veterinarian and vet tech that saw him took the time to let him warm up to them and gave him all the treats. They allowed him to sit on the bench with me rather than the exam table for the less invasive part of the exam because they saw the table scared him. They told him how much of a good boy he was and pet him to calm him when they administered the eye drops. Seeing that they really cared made all the difference!
The Internal Medicine group within this practice is second to none. We highly recommend Dr. Bishop, Dr. Flood and their staff. Our little dog was diagnosed and treated with the same standards and expertise found in human medicine settings. Their depth of knowledge, coupled with compassion, saw us through a harrowing time while our little one was in their ICU and now, beyond. We are eternally grateful for all they've done to give our little guy a second chance. So thankful our veterinarians referred us to them!!!! ❤️
This place couldn't have been nicer to us. We had to put our big baby down and she couldn't wait until the morning to see her usual vet. It was around midnight on a weekday and they were so friendly and caring and helped us get her inside. They didn't rush us and gave us as much time as we needed. The dr loved on her and talked to her. We got her remains back within 2 days as well along with somethings that came back with her from the company they use. I couldn't thank them enough! Highly recommend.
My cat has chronic upper respiratory issues, which are very difficult to manage. She had a flare-up this week and AMH was kind enough to get us in on one day's notice due to a cancellation. I have been taking my cat there for years and everyone (from the front desk to the vet techs to the doctors) is always friendly and helpful and the doctors really listen to my experiences, treatments I have tried, etc. - and work with me to come up with options that might help. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
The staff was very friendly and flexible with us! We forgot our paperwork from the shelter for our newly adopted pup and they were patient as my wife went home to retrieve the paperwork. Our pup is very anxious due to his history prior to us adopting and they were great with him trying to calm him down. The Animal Hospital covers a free comprehensive check-up and $100 voucher for any pets adopted from CMPD Animal Care and Control which was great! Will definitely return for any future needs.
Cannot say enough great things about this animal hospital! We brought our pup here for an emergency hospitalization after she failed to get better with treatment from our regular vet. They did a thorough workup and addressed all of our worries and concerns throughout the process. Dr. Mikes and Dr. Allers were both wonderful and made sure to call and update us. Our girl is feeling so much better after her overnight stay and we can't thank the staff enough for taking such good care of her!
Nothing but praise for Animal Medical Hospital. They take such loving care of Louie, our 10 year old West Highland Terrier. He loves coming for check ups, grooming and boarding and we simply adore Dr. Schoenig and the vet techs. The front desk staff are all wonderful and Lacey is especially kind and patient in assisting me. Louie also loves getting groomed by Amanda and we could not be happier with the level of service and professionalism from AMH. They make us feel like family!
My cat needed urgent care. Every person at Animal Medical Hospital was caring and helpful. They understood how scary it was for me to have my cat so sick. They truly care about the animals in their care. Every staff person treated me and my pet with respect and understanding. We had to return to the vets the same day and they got us right in and helped my kitty. I cannot say enough good things. Even though we have moved and live further away now, I will still bring my pets here!
I have always been pleased with the love and care our cats received. Sadly, our 3 senior cats had to be euthanized within the past year due to their illnesses. I appreciated their concern for what was best for our girls and their quality of life. Having never done this before I was heartbroken but certainly felt their staff was gracious and kind to me during these experiences. 4 months ago my husband and I adopted 2 new girls, Zoe and Poppy. They have helped to heal our hearts.
I have used them as my vet for the last 2 years. Always have a reasonable price and they’re available 24 hours a day. Today my doggo didn’t feel well so I took her here (Saturday). They immediately came to my car to get her due to social distancing and kept me updated by phone. Excellent service and a very caring group of employees. You have to call them when you arrive and let them know you’re here which makes me feel a little safer too! Thanks for all you guys do!!!
We love the team at Animal Medical Hospital. They are all so nice and of course great with our dog. We’ve used all of their services; grooming, boarding, daycare, veterinarian services and their website portal for auto-shipping meds. We switched to them as our regular vet after our dog needed emergency care. Not the cheapest place, as Charlotte has great resources like Stand for Animals, but also not the most expensive! Recommend for anyone in the Charlotte area.
Our little girl just left us and the team here were with us the entire time. We made so many strange requests and asked the same questions repeatedly and they still answered them. You guys were amazing. I even tossed my keys at a staff member in a rush asking for her to make sure my doors were locked and she held them for me. The staff here really are amazing. Thank you guys. I know you did everything you could. My heart is broken but your team was there for us.
I’ve been bringing my two dogs and cat here for about 2 years and each time we leave happy. They are incredibly loving toward our animals and extremely gentle with our one elderly dog who *hates* all vet visits and spends the whole time freaking out. They’re always kind and willing to work with me when I’m on a budget. Plus, there’s nothing better than watching the dogs boarding there play in the room next to the waiting room while you wait for your appointment.
I couldn't be more impressed with this facility. I took my American Eskimo in last night and honestly thought she wouldn't survive. Within 4 hours, it seemed she was almost back to normal. Lovely staff. I was super impressed by Dr. Erin Thomas. Kind and caring. I interacted with Alona several times and she was great with keeping me informed of what was going on and working us in on a busy night. Much love and respect to everyone involved.
We have a therapy dog organization and recently found Animal Medical Hospital for some sick puppies. The staff has been wonderful! I have to say that the night time nurse/tech that helped us getting puppies in and taken care of was more than amazing. Julia was so helpful, I knew we were leaving them in good hands and was so very happy with their care. Julia specifically went over and above and they have a new client for life with us!
The worst place, staff was unorganized and the very opposite of compassionate. We had to take our dog to be euthanized and they left us in a room with no communication for over an hour. They never came back to check on us or anything. Complete disregard for care. We ended up leaving and going to Belmont, which was much better, way more caring, and showed us and our dog plenty of love. Don’t recommend this place at all.
I have no doubt AMH does everything possible in the Urgent Care, Regular visits and Boarding to make our special needs, highly nervous, not socially mature 9 year old Havachon as comfortable as he can be. They are also extremely responsive and patient with concerned Pet Parents. I am a 75 year old senior myself hearing impaired and sometimes it takes multiple times for me to comprehend and they stay right with me.
I took my dog to Animal Medical Hospital after he was attacked by another dog while out on a run. The staff were friendly and responsive and did their very best to keep me informed about what they were doing to treat him while I waited. I so appreciate their professionalism and kindness. I was also pleasantly surprised that the final bill seemed incredibly reasonable for emergency after-hours medical care.
Had to take my dog there recently for an ear infection. I found it easy to get a last minute appointment (on a Saturday!), the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. They were able to get records from my regular vet, and took great care of the pup. I also liked their location and physical building, and that they have boarding on site. Very seriously considering switching to make them our permanent vet.
For what it’s worth - I was going to have to pay between $530-$650 for an abdominal xray here on my cat. I left and found Long Animal hospital, they accepted walk-ins and it was about $180 for the same thing. No complaints about the docs or staff, they were all nice. But just a heads up that there are other walk-in options in the area that will give your pet quality care at a much more affordable rate.
As always, excellent professional, warm and understanding experience. Everyone from receptionists to checkout are personally interested in both you and your pet's health. The staff LISTENS to you - asking questions regarding physical and behavioral issues. The physical exam, test results and home follow up procedures are fully explained. Your questions are encouraged. You leave knowing what to expect.
I've had several pets and have relied on the compassionate care of Animal Medical Hospital for over 20 years. That should tell you something about how much I trust and value their services. From baths to surgeries to end-of-life care, I've always been satisfied with their knowledge, kindness and reliability. Thanks for the opportunity to let everyone know just how great this facility is. Lynn McG
I've both boarded and had my cats examined here and I've always been very happy with the service provided. They even gave one of my cats her own exam room to hang out in when she was being too much of a diva to eat in the crate when I was having her boarded. Much more affordable than other vets I've visited in the area, and the doctors always take time to talk and explain everything.
Dr. Flood, Joseph, and team…I can’t express my sincere gratitude to how you have treated my Sadie over the past few days. What I thought was going to be something minor, has turned into some devastating news about my 12 yr pup. Dr. Flood was very informative and caring towards my Sadie. She was able to get her stable and comfortable to be at home until she’s ready to move on.
We recently made the very difficult decision to have our loving companion of 16 years euthanized. Everyone here from the front desk to the the techs and especially Dr. Havill were so kind, compassionate and gentle with our sweet Mimsy. At no time did I sense any judgement or negativity regarding our decision. Thank you all so much for helping us in this very difficult time.
I come here for one particular veterinarian because she's a rockstar and so caring and knowledgeable. However, for all the years I've been coming I've always had to battle the rude and condescending front desk and scheduling staff. Ive been hung up on, belittled and treated like I'm a bad dog mom. I guess it makes them feel good to be holier than thou, but it's upsetting.
We have needed your services on several occasions. We and our fur babies have always been treated with respect and great care. Last night around 11pm we had to rush Baby our cat to your office. The vet and staff kept us updated with Baby's treatment and updated us this morning regarding Baby's condition. Would definitely recommend their services. Wayne M/ Coby L
My dog and I have been here twice now due to sickness when our regular vet couldn't fit us in. They've taken excellent care of us both times. The wait times get pretty long if you're there during/after close of regular hours, but that's understandable with a smaller staff. All of the staff we've met have been wonderful. We will absolutely continue to use them.
This review goes out to Dr. Heisler who was so comforting and professional when I had to take my cat in to be assessed and then I had to make the decision to euthanize him. A few days later I received a hand written sympathy card from her and also signed by the staff. I will keep this card forever in Professor's file. Thank you!
Animal medical took care of my Afghan hound after his heart attack until his death. Shortly afterwards we adopted an abandoned Shiba Inu. Our dog loves the day camp and we love the medical services. Although we live pretty far away, we board our Shiba there around 10 times a year with complete confidence. He loves the playtime!
We just started going here and thankfully haven’t had any emergencies just check ins for our 5 month old puppy. Dr. Laura Schoenig is super sweet and helpful. The front desk staff isn’t rude by any means like some other reviews have stated. My mom has also taken her dog here for years and has loved it
Will never bring my pets here to be seen. The bills are outrageous for the “work” they do. Majority of the staff is very incompetent. Not much sense of urgency. Talk to you as though you slow. Makes a bunch of smart remarks. Have witness them outcast fellow employees and make them feel less than.
First time here, my new kittens' first visit. Staff was nice, courteous and professional. Dr. Cassandra was great, very informative and answered all my questions as a first time furry parent. I appreciate the follow up call the next day. The staff really cares, and it shows. Thank you!
We had to make the decision to say goodbye to our pup with cancer while visiting family in Charlotte. We brought him here and the staff was so kind and compassionate towards him and us. It made a sad experience as comforting as possible and we are grateful for that. Thank you ❤️
My puppy recently had an allergic reaction to her vaccines from an outside clinic. Upon arrival staff was kind and concerned. They addressed all my concerns, questions and took care of my puppy so well. I am so thankful for their promptness and expertise, they saved her life!!
They are the best you can certainly trust them with your furry children we have been going to them for years. Love ❤️ them!! The staff is the best and we are so grateful for Dr. Jillian Stephan is the best she is very caring and professional we Love her ❤️ and so does Shasa!
