My husband took our old and sick dog, Sherlock to the vet, and we feared the worst since he had not been eating and throwing up with traces of blood in it. From the tests done, we saw he had numerous things wrong with him and out of mercy, we let him be euthanized. My heart was broken and I could not go because emotionally I did not think I could handle it. I had a bond with my dog to where I felt like I could not be there. I did not want to scare our dog with my crying and my being upset. My husband said Dr. Stone was very compassionate and the staff pet and loved on Sherlock like I would. He was weak (dying-we were sure he would not last the weekend) but he still wagged his tail at the nice ladies and seemed comfortable in the room. He was content. They put him on a lush padding and let him go to sleep. My husband said they were very professional and it was very merciful. Our dog didn't like always like everyone, but he has always preferred women, so it was wonderful that he was surrounded by a bunch of kind women in his last moments and that the whole experience was peaceful and merciful. That gave me comfort dealing with an already stressful situation. Then, a week later I checked the mail and to my surprise I saw we got a card signed by the whole staff. I was truly touched. It meant so much to me to have someone reach out like that at a time we were adjusting to our loss. And a couple weeks later, I was called to pick up a memorabilia of Sherlock. We got a mold of Sherlock's paw print that was done up all cute and to remember him. I cried when the lady handed it to me (thought I was ok, but then picking that up triggered some emotion) and she said she was sorry or something to that effect. I thought from start to finish, the Clear Creek Animal Hospital and staff handled the whole situation very professionally. And they seemed to really care which is exactly what our family needed at the time. Thank you.

Here is update on my review after receiving a comment from Clear Creek: I would like to clarify that there was NO payment issue associated with this review. I have never had issues making payments or working with the staff to come up with a payment plan for their services. I dropped off my dog for boarding and was so disgusted and disappointed with the conditions that I didn't feel comfortable leaving him there so we had to make other arrangements. This response from Clear Creek is what's blatantly false and their refusal to apologize is the exact reason we will never be going back My initial review: I'm hesitant to give this vet a one star review, but I am completely disappointed. I loved this place. They treated us well when we went for check ups and they genuinely seemed to care about the animals. Or so I thought, until I took my dog to them for boarding. They walked me down a gated path to their old brick building, which wasn't renovated like the other one. The large dogs were kept in a dark hallway that smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. There was visible waste in almost every kennel. They had previously advised me to bring my dog's bed and some chew toys to make him feel more comfortable, but they just tossed them on a table and didn't put them in the kennel with my dog at all. They offer play time(tug of war, frisbee, etc), puzzle toys and cuddle time with the kennel staff, but those are all offered at an additional cost and they are only 10 minutes at a time. I will definitely not be back for boarding or any other vet services.

The staff is very nice but I do not feel as if they care about my animal. I am on a wellness plan that offers you half off visits but only scheduled visits like an annual exam or puppy vaccines. When I take my pet to a scheduled exam where they are free and covered under my wellness plan, they do not say anything about the spots on his belly or the black stuff in his ears. I have purposely not said anything about things I have seen on my dog to see if they will bring it up and treat it at the time of his free exams and they do not. My dog had an ear infection for months and as a new pet owner I had no clue. They never said anything and he was seen several times before it got unbearable for him. Seems as if they wait for me to say something about his health and schedule it then therefore I would have to pay full price instead of doing what they are supposed to do at an exam; make sure my animal is in good health and treat them if not. Which is ridiculous because I pay 40 dollars a month for a reason. They seem money hungry instead of genuinely caring about my dog. This has put a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning after this wellness plan and last round of medicine. The neglect is just disappointing

A lost dog showed up on my lawn so I took him here to see if he had a chip. They were extremely nice here and offered to check him for free but they ran the scanner over his back real fast without checking his underside or neck. They said that was good enough to pick up a chip, they wouldn't do a more thorough check, and that he did NOT have one. Well we believed her and turned him over to someone who rehabs dogs since the shelters are full and euthanizing a lot of strays right now and they took him to a different vet and they actually checked all over him and it turns out he DID have a chip underneath, they got his name, age, and owner's info and everything. I thought they were very nice and was considering bringing my own two doggies here for check ups but I won't trust them here anymore. That was a pretty simple task, she could have just checked more thoroughly. If they can't take the time to find those chips or if the device is broken then lost dogs brought here are in danger of being given to animal control and euthanized after 72hrs when they really do have families :(

I have brought our animals to Clear Creek Animal Hospital since 1978 and this was our first interaction with Dr. Coady. My son who is 18 brought in our dog Rosie for her yearly exam. Dr. Coady was extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. Unfortunately prior to Rosie’s actual appointment there had been a miscommunication during the initial scheduling as to all what we had wanted and needed to be done in regards to Rosie. Dr. Coady got on the phone with me and instantly addressed the issue. She was extremely nice and apologetic for the minor error. While there are several other vets that are a lot closer to us I still will not take our animals anywhere else. The trust and loyal service that they have provided for our pets throughout the years is invaluable. We appreciate all what they do to keep all of our pets healthy and happy through the many years of service. We are fortunate to now have Dr. Coady as Rosie’s vet going into the foreseeable future. I no long take my pets to this location or vet. The staff are friendly and nice to my pet/myself, but overall their focus is the sale and not the care of the animal or client. I've taken 2 different dogs to this location and 1 cat. Each time I take my animals the staff try to upsell on other products or services without addressing the concerns I have and the reason for my visits. My cat's nail broke off at the base and was blood and they preferred to tell me I need to put him on a flea/tick medication and didn't address his paw. More recently I took my dog to their location for a exam and nail trimming. Prior to showing up the concern of a 'bump' on my dog was gone prior to showing up and they were only able to trim 4 front nails before my pet wouldn't allow it. I was charged for the full exam (which never happened on my request at this point) and charged for the full trimming.

The staff at Clear Creek Animal Hospital have been absolutely amazing! Dr. Sacco has been heaven sent as we have gone through an incredibly traumatic and stressful situation with our dog Bingo. I could always count on a daily call from Dr. Sacco or one of her colleagues to follow up on how Bingo was doing, helping us to navigate what we needed to do for Bingo's care. Dr. Sacco was compassionate and understanding as we had to make a difficult decision to try and treat our pet or to make the hard decision to put him down. We were blessed to find the resources to afford surgery, and even though it was done through an external specialist, the Clear Creek Animal hospital family always stood in touch with us throughout the whole process. Dr. Sacco truly went above and beyond for us and we cannot thank them enough! Thank you for not only caring about Bingo, but about us as well!

They're always great with my cats! My family has gone to this same Vet for the last 20 years. I moved away at one point and had to go to another Vet, and it just wasn't as personal and thorough. I've taken my fur babies to see multiple different doctors here and I'm always impressed by how thorough they are, and how willing they are to look up information if they don't know an answer! Two of my family's three cats have chronic stress and urinary issues. The doctor understood why we didn't want to put them on daily stress meds and was able to help us make changes in their diet and environment that helped resolve their issues instead. The doctors are always happy to make sure I understand the treatment options and how they work and always do follow-up calls and visits when our pets are sick.

Update: I've come here for 4 years and still the same 5 star service!!! My pups (I have 2 now) are like family to Clear Creek ... their staff and services allow for easy wellness and sick care to be maintained. I love the Petdesk portal & the paw perks I earn. I have had a few emergencies with having small pups but all is well when coming to Clear Creek. Paw poems have offset some big expenses in the past. If your looking for staff who will be honest and offer wellness plans to offset large expenses such as dental or vaccines, nail trimming etc come here! I also love that the services are reimbursed with my Nationwide Pet Insurance! So, whether u have furbabies, Reptiles whatever come here!!! Old post: Love them... they take great care of my lil pup.

My family adopted two kittens this year, and decided to go with Clear Creek as our vet because they are so close to our home. We are beyond happy with our choice! Due to Covid, we have to wait in the car while a vet technician escorts our kitties inside. As challenging as this can be, Clear Creek has provided us with EXCELLENT communication and won our complete trust—detailed phone calls while we wait in our car, follow-up calls, and emails. They are thorough, answer all our questions, and take such good care of our fur babies :) We have both our caats on Clear Creek’s first year vaccination/spay/neuter program which ensures that all of their needs are met in their first year. The staff are so friendly and kind. Thank you Clear Creek!

They're just great..okay? They are just the absolute best at what they do. I always feel like they care about us and our lives and our dogs.. I mean.. As much as someone can that works at a place where they see hundreds of people and dogs. I find it quite astounding if anyone at a business can remember my face when they see hundreds of people in between my visit ya know? My dog loves the staff..but that depends on the dog, some dogs hate the vet and there's nothing you can do.. Lol Dr Stone is really cool and fun and likes kids too. All in all, great place. Especially their new building, oh man, what a wonderful and deserved change for everyone. Go here, they rock, like for real.

I changed from one local vet on Rocky River Rd because they never returned my phone calls when my pet was in distress for two days they had vm from me. Clear Creek animal hospital is different as night and day from this other vet. I am very pleased with Clear Creek Animal Hospital. They were there for me when a vet who I had been using for 4 animals I have never even bothered to return my calls and there was a definite problem with my puppy and he needed meds right away. I highly recommend Clear Creek Animal Hospital. They are now in care of my three cats and puppy. Also the professionalism of the staff is different as night and day from the other vet off Rocky River Road

Overall I would give 5 stars but they instituted a disingenuous policy regarding prescriptions. They will not issue phone confirmation of refills to chewy or 800 pet meds; falsely claiming it saves their staff time. In reality it now means you have to call them and explain what you need; which takes as much staff time as just verifying; then you have to go to the office to pick up the prescription which means the staff has to deal with you again. In reality they have INCREASED the amount of time taken up and created a big hassle for the pet owner. For an organization that's usually on the ball this is just foolish.

Been visiting since we moved to this area in 2016 and absolutely love it here. The staff has been the friendliest we have ever met at any vet and treats all four of our fur babies as if they were their own Having Clear Creek as such an amazing vet so close to our house is one of the top three reasons we would never choose to move! When we were down on our financial luck during the height of the pandemic they worked with us for different options to fit our budget while still doing what was best for our cats. If we could give more than five stars we legit would, everyone who works here deserves it and more

Times are tough, but that doesn’t change our love for our pets. Today, I brought my dog Georgie in for her exams and vaccinations, but couldn’t pay for everything. So embarrassing. However, I get paid the next day. And because the staff and owners of Clear Creek Animal Hospital are so compassionate and care more about pets than anything else, they let me pay half today and half tomorrow. The humanity and compassion I experienced filled me with happiness. I love Clear Creek Animal Hospital, and will use them for boarding and veterinary services always. It’s not just a business for them, it’s their passion.

Dr. Bamonte and her staff are incredible! After each visit with my puppy I receive a follow-up call to check on him. Dr. Bamonte is knowledgeable about our giant breed dog and makes fantastic recommendations on food, medication and joint care. She takes the time to answer any questions we may have and is always personable. Update 2022: Dr. Coady saw our sickly cat and immediately recognized a very hard diagnosis and started him on treatment right away. A week later and our kitty is doing fantastic. All of the staff, Dr. Bamonte and Dr. Coady, are incredibly caring and generous with their time.

I was so happy to have found such a caring, kind veterinary practice when I moved to Charlotte several years ago. They have been wonderful in caring for the health of our pets and It had been a really long time since I'd had a vet that I really felt was interested in more than just our money. Dr. Bamonte has been wonderful since our dog was diagnosed with Addison's disease, and everyone there does all they can to answer our questions, soothe our fears, and care for our pets as though they were family. Clear Creek Animal Hospital is simply amazing! The doctors are all extremely helpful, caring, and compassionate. The staff is friendly and treats all pets (and parents!) like they are valued and loved. I always feel comfortable talking with the doctors and support staff because they take the time to answer all my questions and make sure I understand all the information they give me. They take extra steps, such as printing out information for me to take home as well as researching my questions. Clear Creek is the best veterinary office I've had.

My parents started using CCAH in the mid 70's because they were close to where we lived. A stray cat "adopted" us and my mom didn't want kittens to follow! I have never been long without a pet (usually pets) in my life and CCAH has always been my primary care vet. Ownership of the practice has changed a couple of times, but their commitment to pet care has always been foremost. There isn't a single staff member that doesn't genuinely care about your pet. They understand and appreciate your love for your pet and want the best for them.

I love this vet. They are always professional and kind. They treat my pets well, and they are always happy to give me a written quote for care if I ask for it. Plus, they always have openings when I have a concern and need to bring my dog or cat in right away. One time, I did leave my pets with them to board while on vacation, and my dog kept trying to get out of the cage until he scraped a sore on his nose. They waited too long to put something on him to keep him from hurting himself. Other than that, for regular care, they're great.

Amazing vet clinic - my Pit Taj has been to so many vets on our travels up and down the east coast but none of them touch clear creek. You can see from their steller reviews they care about your animal and you. I moved to south charlotte awhile back but made the drive up to see them for his visits because they are the only ones i trusted with my boy Taj. He recently passed and they were there to help every step of the way to make sure he lived as long as possible but passed with dignity. Thank you so much

Dr. Sako at Clear Creek Animal Hospital is absolutely the best vet I’ve ever seen. She is smart and she does a very thorough examination. She does not rush, answers questions and concerns professionally. She loves all the animals as if they were her own. I’ve seen a Breeder for 50 years and I would trust her with any of my dogs. Dr. Sako is not the only one. Every one on staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and so pleasant to be around. I would 1000% recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone.

We have taken our cat Skyler to Clear Creek Animal hospital since he was a kitten. They have taken great care of him . They help us keep up with all his shots and checkups. The staff is always willing to work with you whether it is a money issue or just an appointment issue. They are pet owners themselves and realize how expensive Illness in an animal can be. They will try to come up with options you can afford. They always try to do what is best for your pet. Always a friendly atmosphere there.

My 15-1/2 year old Pomeranian had her first visit with Dr. Bamonte this morning after living in NJ and returning from 3 years in PR. We were both very pleased with the services and caring attention and kindness by everyone. On August 20 Isabel had her half year checkup. Saw Dr. Speight and was again very pleased. She took time to answer various questions. Would feel very confident coming here should Isabel develop any health problems now that she is up in age. They are very gentle and caring.

I'm so glad we have the best Veterinarian and clinic 1.5 miles away. They are so accommodating, thorough and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Maggie Sacco. She listens and doesn't push all sorts of unnecessary tests/vaccines/ procedures at all. She tries to start simple then move forward rather than taking the most aggressive approach right off the bat. I believe she truly cares about each and every pet she sees as well as their owners. Kudos to all the Clear Creek Animal Hospital staff.

Clear Creek Animal Hospital has been my vet for over 20 years and I can't imagine going any other place. This is one of the most caring and compassionate vet care centers that I have been involved with since I became a mother of fur babies!! They are definitely hands on and call to check on you if your baby has been sick or had to have surgery and had to spend time at the hospital. It is nice to know that they care about the mothers and dads of the "babies" they take care of.

We moved to Charlotte 10 years ago and one of our biggest concerns was a Vet for our older dog. We have been with them ever since. They gave our Courtney the best care in her last years and helped us give her a peaceful exit . We now have two dogs who are youngsters and We wouldn't go anywhere else for their care. Love the Staff and Drs. We also keep them at their overnight kennel. Our dogs love it there and them. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

Every Doctor and all his staff are the most caring people. I would recommend them at any one. They have loved my dog and cats unconditionally and taken such good care of them. If an emergency comes up they will take you right in and do all they can do for you.. I had such an emergency reasonably and they took great care of my dogs needs. The only experience I have here, they allow me to wait in the waiting room while waiting for an interview I arrived early for. I had a decent conversation with a guy waiting with his dog about traffic in the area. The receptionist offered me a lollipop, they tend to really Care for animals more than people from what I read on the cup I got the lollipop from. It is a veterinarian's office, welcoming pet families, it was to be expected.

I have been going to Clear Creek Animal Hospital for 25 years and have always had veterinarians there that cared about my cats. I have had 4 cats with some serious health issues (1 with kidney disease, 2 with cardiomyopathy and 1 with dental and autoimmune issues) and have been pleased with the level of knowledge and care from the doctors as well as the technicians and receptionists. I would highly recommend them.

Everything was great from the time I walked through the door. Smiling faces, asked if it was ok to give her a treat. Called back to the room on time (no waiting) . The assistant/tech. Explained throughly everything that was going to happen. She and the Doctor answered all my questions and were very patient. It was an awesome first time experience. I feel very confident with them taking care of my fur baby girl.

I love Clear Creek Animal Hospital. They loved my boxer and took wonderful care of him for 12 years. Recently he crossed the rainbow bridge and they provided so much care and support to us during this process. I cannot recommend them enough. I always received exceptional service, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have recommended them to several of my friends and their pets are now patients as well.

Dr. Sacco and Christie did a great job with my highly stressed older cat. She does not like her vet visits. Dr. Sacco and Christie care and soothe her by talking to her. She came home stressed but no anesthesia was used and she did great. This clinic cares about the animals and they check on them and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good caring veterinarian office. Thank you all!

I was looking for a great veterinarian clinic for my pup and saw that this one has great reviews so I decided to check it out and I had a great experience there. I wasn’t disappointed, All the staff was very nice and helpful. They explained everything you need to know and help you with any questions you have. They really care for your pet and his needs. The facility looks nice and very clean.

Every visit is a great experience. My pup is very aggressive and the staff understand how she will react. Their expertise is greatly appreciated due to the fact that they know how to make my pup experience a great one. They treat her as if she is their own pet. Everyone is very professional and polite doing and after my visit. This is a great veterinary clinic/hospital to bring your pet.

This was my first time bringing my dog here to board him over a three day weekend. The facility was very clean and everyone was very knowledgeable. They trimmed his nails for me also. He seemed to enjoy himself and didnt seem stressed of anxious when he got back home so they took very good care of him. Whenever I have to board him again I will definately be choosing them.

The doctor's, reception and technicians are top notch. They are always super friendly, efficient and accommodating. They recognize me and my dogs when we walk in and clearly explain everything they are planning to do! Special shout out to Dylan and Dr Bomonte for their extra special care! I was recommended by a friend to go here. Even though it’s a bit of a far drive for me it was definitely worth it. The staff was super nice and not pushy about selling their wellness plans like other vets. I could tell that the doctor really cared about my puppy and her well being. We love Clear Creek. We have a senior cat and dog who have been patients for about 11 years. I love that they treat my furbabies as if they are their own. Have been taking my dog to Clear Creek since I got her nearly eight years ago. They are the nicest people to deal with. My dog actually gets excited when we arrive (they all spoil her). They are always willing to work with me to schedule necessary care and boarding. I highly recommend them for your pet's health care, grooming and boarding needs.

Very efficient veterinary staff. I took my cat there for his updated vaccine. Only thing I didn't appreciate was the receptionist attempt to add an examination charge to the bill and saying it was an automatic charge. Knowing it wasn't, I brought it up again when I got inside the room, the vet agreed it wasn't necessary and adjusted the charges.

Everyone at Clear Creek is wonderful. They listen when you have concerns or when Kitty Kat aka (Ms. Nadia) doesn't want to get in the carrier. I love how they're so understanding and provide suggestions. Clear Creek Animal Hospital is wonderful in all that they do; also checking up the next day to see how your pet is doing after their visit.

My service animal has NEVER been excited to go to the vet, until now. She actually gets excited when they come out to get her! The vets and techs are fantastic! Clear communication, very open to the needs of the patient and preferences of the owner. Ive since moved about 45mins from here but will happily make the drive any time!

But not this office, they are willing to take the extra time to discuss things about your pet and give you many options for the best care of your animals.

We have 6 pets - 4 are seen by Dr. Hessin at Clear Creek (the other two are rabbits and see an exotic vet at another clinic). The paw perks are also great. This is a boutique vet but the personalization and the care are worth the money.

We love Dr. Hesson. She’s thorough and patient with every examination. I appreciate that she never rushes us out but takes time to listen and discuss all of our concerns. Very happy with the care she and the techs provide to our babies. Front desk staff is also very friendly and helpful.

This is a good location to take your babies for regular checks but if you have an emergency if you needinge a same day appointment they might not be able to help you because they're always book their prices are a little bit high but they do pay really good attention to pets.

They are very good vets, but I am not going to wait in my car again while they service my dog. There are other vets in the area. The need to treat the virus as others do. my wife said we will not bring our dog again unless one of us can be in the treatment room with our dog.

New to this vet, the office seems new and the women at the front desk are super helpful and polite. I don't know how I feel about the over all care of my dog yet. The test results do come back quickly. I will update the review after my dog has had a year of services.

Brought my dog there for a second opinion. I had spent over $2000. with no clear diagnosis. Dr Speights was so professional and courteous, I could have hugged her. I love this place and no one can go wrong by bringing your furry family member there. Bodhi loved them.

Excellent vet for my cats. They're always friendly and good with my little ones. The staff and doctors listen to your concerns and are happy to answer questions. The new building they have is great, and I feel good knowing my cats have such excellent care.

I was truly worried about not being able to go into the office for my dog’s visit ; however, the staff was fantastic! They have their procedure down pat. Additionally, the staff is helpful and compassionate. It’s obvious that they care for their patients.

Clear Creek and its staff have been treating our dogs for 20+ years. We recently had a dog that had to be put to sleep. They showed total kindness during that very difficult process. Their care for our pets has always been top notch.

Dr. Hesson and team have consistently been so great with our three pups. From typical appointments to boarding to the more complex injury treatments, they know and love our boys, and treat them with such kindness and understanding.

The vets and technicians here are all so kind and always want to help. They always call back the next day to check how your pet is doing and follow up. They also have a kennel just for patients that is very reasonable priced.
