The place look nice, and I heard good things about it, I went in with a positive mindset about it. I ordered a mocha frappe and a chocmint frappe. The staff member was really mumbled n looked at me in a way that made me uncomfortable. I put that aside though, expecting nice flavoured cold drinks for me and my misso since it’s a hot day. Little did I know, when I was served the drinks, It was going to look like literal cat vomit. Once again, I put that to the side, still expecting it to taste good from what I heard. IT WAS NOT, neither of our drinks tasted good. The chocmint tasted how it looked, it was beyond awful. I don’t recommend going, it was such a waste of $8.90 for each drink!

I have only been here twice and the first time I had pancakes they didn't taste that great but had such a generous swrve, they were big! And had all the trimmings, ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries and of course maple syrup. The next time I came in the was an issue with my mum's cake being dry and I spoke up for her and it was rectified immediately with another cake and a partial refund. My cake was great though! So even though there has been slight issues both times visiting here staff have done their best to fix it up once they were aware of the issue which speaks volumes about their business!

Quite a disappointing experience at Annie’s Cafe. The last couple of times has been great service by the employees, however today the lady that served us our food seemed quite rude. The only conversation from her was asking who’s food was who's. The food being reasonably pricy for what you get on the plate, it was quite annoying not getting the bacon for the main part that was advertised with the bacon and eggs sandwich. The food did come not seem worth the money I was charged after not getting what I paid for. I will be taking my money elsewhere next time.

I came today because I knew someone who I used to work with that never made coffee's, yet she managed to make it taste sooo good! Not even the highlight though, the orange and almond cake was. It actually tasted like orange and almonds with not a huge overload of sugar. Their cake are beautiful (I just wanted to stare at then), the interior is lovely, and I wish I knew about this place sooner :)

Amazing food, coffee and service. Went in on a public holiday, and the girls who were working were very understaffed and yet the quality of everything was 100%!! The staff were so professional and polite despite how inconsiderate some customers were. The serving sizes were also very generous and well presented. The way those girls managed the cafe was to be highly commended!! I can only hope they managed to get a break!!

Cosy cafe, popular with older ladies, has an old time feel with the decor and a few unique antiques. Highlight is the couple of wingback arm chairs, (I think there are two lots). Situated on the main street of Christies Beach yet it feels like you're in a country town. If you like home cooked meals then this cafe is for you- delicious, homely, friendly not over-the-top fancy dishes. Best milkshakes and thickshakes! Nice selection of sweets, cakes etc.. Outside eating options too.

Disappointed bacon and egg S/W with dried out bread or very white toast not sure which. Purchased 4 of these and was charged $1 for each to have sauce, was not aware of this until we paid. Shame $4 for 4 small squirts when Woolies was selling 2l for $3.75. Ice coffee was ok. For the cost of just on $80 I certainly wouldn't recommend.

The food here never disappoints, I had the chicken wrap, crispy chicken and fresh salad which was huge, could easily feed two people,. My husband had the giant baked potato, I don't think he believed me when I warned him just how big it would be but he somehow managed to squeeze it all in because it tasted so good. Needless to say we didn't need dinner that night! Service is always great, nothing is too hard for the wonderful staff.

Ive been to Annie's Cafe twice and I love it! Wide range variety of food. Service very friendly and helpful! I started to eat healthy at the start of this year and have struggled to eat out since due to the food being to fatty for my stomach to handle but coming here there are lots of variety I can have that won't upset my stomach! I also love that they have gluten free deserts!

Recently attended a party where a gluten free strawberry cheesecake was ordered from here. I tell you, this was the most delicious cheesecake I’ve ever eaten, I went back for not only seconds but thirds (the next day, still good!). Incredibly fluffy and soft, the base was the perfect balance of soft and crisp, very fresh and incredibly delicious. Very impressed!

We used to go here quite a lot before we moved from the area and really enjoyed their breakfast. Unfortunately, after visiting this morning, we will never go back. The sausages have been replaced by really cheap ones and the bacon was really salty. We were told when the breakfast arrived that they had no baked beans. I asked for some sauce and was told it would be 50c, which I reluctantly agreed to, but it never arrived.

What a great little gem on Beach Road! Friendly, accomodating staff and good old fashioned home cooked breakfasts. Nice hot coffee and wonderful atmosphere, comfy chairs if you're after a coffee and a piece of delicious cake. Larger signage out the front would be better as we initially drove passed it. Glad we stopped the second time, well done ladies for a scrumptious breakky!

Had lunch at Annie's and wasn't disappointed. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We sat indoors, and it felt homely and inviting. Food was of high quality and very generous portions. Annie was happy to accommodate my daughter, who is a fussy eater, and adjusted her order with no hesitation. Coffee was also really good! Thank you to all the staff!

Had an awesome Easter Monday breakfast. Service was quick and polite. Food was amazing, the best eggs Benedict we've had in ages. Interior is nicely decorated with antique pieces like a typewriter and scales. Overall fantastic and would go again.

beautiful cafe, lovely staff, welcoming environment and great food. the owner is super friendly and passionate about her food and cafe. i recommend the big breakfast and the potato spud. the frappes are amazing too. also, the chicken potato balls in the fridge by the register are great to take home and have for dinner.

Love this place! A regular stop for us. My son and I go here from breakfast and milkshake dates together. Highly recommend

VERY DISAPPOINTED. Eggs Benedict had a hair on it. Bacon and eggs were overcooked ie eggs not runny and bacon cremated to the point that you could have frisbee it across the room. Poor vivid hygiene as tables were not wiped after each client. Family breakfast disaster

We will not be back they forgot about ice water forgot our toasted sandwiches menu is too expensive the service was very bad, a 1sar is to much . My friend is going through radiation and chemotherapy and needed her lunch so that it settled her stomach .

Did not go inside. Seen two of the staff smoking out back right near the back kitchen door. I had a feeling one of them was the owner. No effort to cover there work clothes. I think if you want to smoke do i on . your lunch break away from the cafe.

Really enjoyed my lunch here today. Lovely staff members who are really on the ball and helpful. The chicken caesar wrap is amazing value for the size, and the chips and thickshake were delicious. We are already discussing when we will next return!

Popped in for take away coffees. The staff were super friendly, felt like a really nice place to hang out. Hot chocolate, skinny latte and macchiato were well made. Had a great range of desserts. Wheelchair accessible as well. Will be back.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly staff and a cute little cafe. The food and frappes there are beyond amazing and always made to the best quality. It is my favourite brekky place down south and is currently getting me though lockdown!

Good home style food in large portions and terrific coffee. They cater well for our furry friends with plates of ham given to dogs as treats. Of course I am no longer able to pass Annie's without my dog dragging me back.
