They are just money hungry. Refusing to assist at all in regards to me needing to cancel my membership due to my mental health and even whilst providing a medical certificate, because apparently my situation doesn’t fall under their cancellation criteria. Don’t expect them to care about allowing you to cancel if you’re not even able to leave the house nor work due to the state of your mental health. Even if you have no job they still expect you to pay out 50% of your remaining membership fees. I even asked them to put my account on hold whilst I obtain a second certificate from my doctor and they refuse and just continue to charge my card therefore putting my account into negative. Thanks anytime fitness for exacerbating my mental health condition due to this stress, I will be escalating this legally. LET PEOPLE CANCEL THEIR MEMBERSHIP IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND AND ARE NOT EVEN USING YOUR FACILITIES! I’m posting this as the lack of compassion and understanding when it comes to mental health these days infuriates me. Mental health issues are equally as valid as physical health issues.

I travel with work and have used many Anytime gyms all around the country. I’ve rated this one only three stars because it lacks what a ‘premium’ gym should be. There is lots of equipment that caters for most and is reasonably spaced out, but only has one complete power rack with lifting platform and one without. No seat for shoulder presses and no dip bars downstairs. You need to go upstairs for the assisted dip and ab machine. Members are OK, but like many other gyms there are those that think they don’t need to rerack weights or use a towel or disinfectant wipes and leave the equipment covered in sweat. I’ve been to gyms where staff actually enforce Club rules and ensure members use towels, wipe the equipment and rerack weights, this one doesn’t seem to have the same ethic. The music is a bit loud, it’s a gym not a night club. Overall, this so called ‘premium’ gym is no better than a standard Anytime, just bigger.

Joined the gym as I was told to lose some weight so I joined Anytime Fitness Carrum Downs and found that the staff members friendly and very incorgeing and my pt Georgina was great till she left and the new pt Mia has me really looking forward to our workouts each week

Facility is atrociously dirty. Lot of equipment not cleaned and heaps of dust on the windows and air conditioning units. Basic vacuuming done only. Toilets are gross. Water was off and couldn't flush. Toilets full of toilet paper.

This is the best gym in the South East !! The equipment is all new and they have so much there, the girls in the office have a such a great vibe and are very helpful.. I will be recommending all my friends here ;)

Is a great gym. Everything is set out well. The free weight area tends to get crowded whenever I've been there (after 4pm) Not sure when it's the quietest or when it's the most busiest.

Absolutely love this gym! Been to many gyms before but Anytime Fitness in Carrum Downs is just one step above. Absolutely lovely staff members and great atmosphere

Clean gym with friendly staff, always equipment to use, only busy around 5pm but still able to use what you want. I would recommend this gym to anyone

Really easy to sign up and team is willing to help you to achieve their goals in any way they can while being being 24/7 access all at the same time.

Two days in a row of no hot water (water is icy in Melbourne this time of year) and gym seems to be missing basic equipment that other gym have

Great clean gym. Very quiet during business hours and later in the evening which is great but will get busy at the usual times.

Great location, staff and equipment. Very poor process to cancel a membership, 2 months before auto renewal though.

I have started training here and the vibe and support is amazing ! I love coming daily and the girls are so helpful
