I was doing some shopping for gyms and this Lithuanian lady who was the membership consultant basically spent 30 minutes talking about how fat she used to be and how her ex fiance dumped her..ALL IRRELEVANT INFORMATION...Never asked if we needed a training program, she just tried to force it down our throats, spoke to my girlfriend about how women have to look a certain way. She then tried to predatorily get us to sign up by offering us a corporate deal that ONLY people at st james hospital supposedly get. Then she either actually called her manager or faked the call in order to get us an even cheaper deal. Then when we said we wanted to try it before committing to a contract she got defensive, and didnt want to let us sign the contract anymore? LOL. When we tried to give her constructive feedback she wouldnt let us speak. We eventually decided to leave and on our way out she recommended we not go to another gym because "it would be too expensive" for us. So to sum up our review. I'd like to provide the following feedback: 1. We didn't sign up not because the facilities were bad. We cannot comment on the staff because we don't actually know them. We didnt sign up because we didn't feel comfortable. Things that make customers feel comfortable are a warm welcome, a conversation and not pulling out sign up sheets the minute they walk in the door. 2. Affordability is really up to us. Statements like that are unprofessional. 3. I know the girls name, the fact that she MAY have been fat when she was younger, the fact that she MAY have had an ex who called her fat and unattractive. The fact that her dad MAY have died last year, she MAY have stopped eating for 6 months, MAY have lost her hair and MAY have lost her nails because of malnutrition. I say may because this could all be lies. Yet she knows absolutely nothing about me. She didn't even bother to say my name right. If you are looking to make a real sale, a relationship has to be built. For that the conversation needs to be two ways. Its a shame, the facilities were great. The price of 46 a month was reasonable. Just didn't feel comfortable signing a contract that was being shoved down our throats.

Cons - Some of the benches are in bad conditions. Uneven sitting positions make it hard to do some exercise without fear. They also don't have decline bench for doing chest workouts. They do have one decline bench for doing crunches though. - Wifi never works there and since it is underground, your mobile network would also not work. Make sure to download your playlist offline. - Showers/bathrooms are usually smelly. - Pretty crowded during peak hour. - Their membership contract is for one year. So, even if you wanna cancel, you can't. They missed explaining this in my case but I never needed to cancel though. Pros - Plenty of treadmills and other cardio machines. - Machines are in good conditions. - Workout area is pretty hygienic. - Plenty of free weights. Overall, it's a good gym for cardio and machine users but free weight exercise experience can be improved.

Whilst the gym itself does give you the illusion that it is a rather large gym the number and diversity of equipment you will find, its the same as any other gym. There are no lockers per se but some secure vaults to store your valuables. There's 4 showers for both men and women There is no parking on site you would have to park in the Supervalue underground car park and walk the rest of the way.. And Apparently if you cancel your membership they try to pursue you saying you are obliged to stay with them for one year or so, trying to threaten you with debt collectors over accounts that are overdue 36 euros :D. Just word of advice for anyone looking to start a membership here.

Richie the manager is very aggressive and rude when dealing with an issue. I rang to cancel my membership and was mislead by staff twice on how to do this by filling out an online cancellation form (to which both times some how they didn’t receive). When I contacted the club Richie shouted and threatened me that if I didn’t pay money that I didn’t even owe that he would pass it onto a debt collector because I wouldn’t give him access to my medical records. I wouldn’t recommend anyone joining this gym if that’s how they treat people and Richie could certainly do with re training his customer care and people skills.

This has to be one of the WORST GYMS I’ve ever been to. Where do I begin the gym itself it’s a shoe box. How they can even call it a gym is beyond me. The staff are down right RUDE. They are not one but helpful and when you ask them a question it’s like your offending them by speaking. But that’s not the best part let’s talk about the manager Richie. The man is extremely unprofessional, rude and extremely abrupt. He cannot handle any type of feedback good or bad talks over you to the point where it’s like he’s screaming at you. Safe to say I won’t be back. Best of luck you will need it Richie with your attitude.

Awful gym! Dirty, equipment is old and the staff are unhelpful and rude. The contracts are not explained properly by staff as they don’t know the ins and outs of them themselves. The manager of the gym was a nasty individual to deal with also and hasn’t got the skills needed to be running a place like this in my opinion with a horrible attitude. Under this comment the club pretend like I’ve never been a member and that just shows you how unprofessional they are that they have to pretend. Also they have loads of fake 5 star reviews that they’ve clear wrote themselves.

The most scam ever. When I became a member I asked about Terms and Conditions and the guy just told me "ow you just need to give one month of notice" but he didn't say that is one month After 12 months of contract, if I knew it I would have never became a member. They just said you need to assign to get in, but they didn't show the contract before, maybe I was fool just trust in what they said but I also have others 2 friends that are in the same position. Just take care.

They scam you into signing a 1 year contract and then when you want to terminate your membership you get surprised that as per “the cancelation policy” you have to keep paying till the rest of the contract year and then keep paying for an extra month of notice after the year ends. To be fair, the monthly payment is cheap and the gym has acceptable amount of machines and is accessible 24/7 but the termination policy is horrible and the machines are of a degrading quality.

I think this gym is amazing! Incredible, friendly, welcoming staff, the price can be a little steep especially if it's two or more people going at the same time/paying. However, with fresh hot water showers, facilities/toilets, disability accessible (currently the lift is inoperable, but the staff have several times help carry the wheelchair down for my partners nephew. Overall, its great for what it offers & I would definitely recommend!

Very active gym. Got different events going on every month. Very friendly and welcoming staff. It feels like home whenever I come in. All the staff members are very helpful and they look after you in whatever you need, whenever. Always super clean, the bathroom privacy is great. The studio has lots of classes to choose from. Well-equipped gym, their machines are newer compared to other gyms.

Absolutely inhuman gym. It was raining cats and dogs, so me and my partner entered this gym for shelter. The staff member came and ask us to leave, when i protested, she told me, we not made of chocolate. We were marched out in the pouring rain. With this attitude, it reflects what kind of gym it is, and how they treat people. To think i was actually considering joining the gym. Congratulations u just lost 2 customers.

24hr access is quite handy but the temperatures in the summer months are very high so I have docked a star for this reason. There doesnt seem to be a good airflow in the gym and in the mornings the sun beats in through the windows and it is roasting! The gym looses a second star because the classes arent really classes aswell, they are just videos on a projector.

Membership covers all Anytimefitness clubs both Ireland and worldwide. Amazing value for money!

I'm a new member and I've been nothing but pleased with my experience at Anytime Fitness. There's a very wide variety of machines, all kept in great condition. It's never too crowded, there's never been a situation where I've wanted to use a machine but couldn't due to the amount of people. They're very accomodating and nice

Good gym, affordable. I'm giving it 3 stars for two main reasons, it misses two important pieces of equipment: assisted pull-ups and a calf raise machine. There are way around this using bands and/or using the leg press machines, but unfortunately without these the gym feels lacking. Staff are good people and helpful.

Great friendly atmosphere in this gym. Really bright and airy and always spotless. The individual changing/shower rooms are excellent and provide privacy and allow for peace of mind with the hygiene side of things with covid. It's never overly busy and the fact it's 24hrs gives great flexibility.

Amazing gym. Richie, the club manager has excellent customer service skills, he is very attentive to detail and takes time out of his day to help all the members (new and old). Shannon and Neil, the MAs are always so helpful. They all are so bubbly and chatty and a great asset to the gym.

Great gym in the area! Staff is keeping place clean and respecting the “new rules” due to current 2020 situation very well. Best of it for me is that it is open 24 hours a day which allows me to come and train before leaving to work in early morning. Guys keep it like that!

It's not the largest place but 24 hour access is great for if you want to work out when it's quieter. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the premises and equipment are kept in good shape. Individual shower and changing facilities are a bonus.

Best Gym Option in Kilmainham- free weights area, machine and cardio areas and a lovely stretching/class room with padded mats. Staff are extremely kind and helpful and design monthly challenges for members that brings a lovely atmosphere to the gym.

Great little gym on a very busy area. I truly appreciate it as it's open 24/7. Other than that just because is quite small comparing with others you might have to wait your turn for a long time to use some equipment if you have a daily program.

I loved the concept, atmosphere and great facilities suitable for shy people, also found the staff extremely friendly and helpful, specifically Hannah and Ruta who were both amazing, very welcoming and fun to talk to during my first visit.

Just finished a first ever. A workout on Christmas Day. Brilliant. I joined here in November and am enjoying the place so far. I get here off peak & enjoy my time. Recommend the gym. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

A great gym that I highly recommend. It is always clean and has friendly helpful staff. There is a lot of different equipment and also a great cardio room which can be used for boxing and has a ski machine.

Anytime Fitness is a great 24/7 gym option, they have wonderful staff as well, particularly Richy who facilitates the gym. It's safe and clean and the environment is top notch. Highly recommended!

I love how they have disinfectant wipes to clean equipment after use. Staff is nice enough and most of the classes are great. Bathroom availability isn't always there when you need it

24 hour gym, clean, lots of space, free weights area and plenty of machines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, can be a bit crowded at peak times as expected for a decent gym.

The equipment is cheaper (not as adjustable and feels flimsy) compared to what I'm used to back home in Aus. Big enough place though that it doesn't feel too busy and cramped.

I love this gym. The trainers and staff are friendly and helpful. It’s always clean and they do fun things like get a DJ in on Halloween. Feels like a little family there.

The equipments are pretty new. The gym is always organized and clean. There is never too many people, so no queues in equipments. I definitely recommend it.
