After complaining to Applebee's and giving them an opportunity to address and resolve my complaint, I'm sharing my story publicly because it is clear to me Applebee's couldn't care less about my experience in their restaurant. I received a generic automated message thanking me for my feedback and " Here's a $10.00 off your next online purchase of $30.00 or more." THIS IS MY STORY: We arrived shortly after 4, there was a staffing issue, I understand this. A manager immediately took our drink order, but it took quite a while for someone (else) to return to take our food order. We placed our order. A couple was seated at the table next to us after we ordered drinks. When the food arrived, the burger was missing its toppings. It took at least 15 minutes for the waiter to check on us and bring the missing toppings. We waited a long time for someone to bring the bill, but they never did. I had to ask the hostess to bring our bill. The bill she brought included 2 iced teas and spinach dip that we hadn’t ordered. The table next to us heard our complaint and informed us that they’d ordered those things and our burger was on their bill. The hostess called 2 waitresses over to try to figure out how to correct the bills. Both tables explained multiple times what each had ordered. When the “corrected” bills arrived, the waitress first went to the other table. She apologized to them and happily explained that she’d comped certain items on their bill due to them being inconvenienced. Then she handed us our bill saying the items we didn’t order had been removed. I looked at my bill and saw that she’d labeled the items I didn’t order “comped” (they weren’t comped because they were items we never ordered). I said to my guest that I was insulted because the table who showed up after we did received an apology and a discount for their inconvenience, but all I received was a sloppily adjusted bill. And they made me wait longer, so I was more inconvenienced! 2 managers and a waitress took turns serving us, so I don’t know who “Jessica H” is (the name on the bill). The table next to us noticed the blatant disparity of treatment between us. They felt terrible about it and offered us money. We declined and told them it’s not their responsibility to make it right. I hate to believe our nationality played a role, but how would you explain the difference in treatment? During our meal a young black couple with a baby was seated behind us. They waited, but no one came to take their order. Eventually they got up and left, telling the hostess that they had never been acknowledged. Maybe we were all subconsciously stereotyped? I typically tip a minimum of 35%. The $6 I left this evening was way too much for the treatment we received.

We had a party of 6 that had arrived here at this location. We was the second table in the building around 8 pm. out of all the tables we was put in the back by the bathrooms. We had a server very Awesome young lady. but was not on top of the details when ordering. I asked for top shelf Long Island Ice Tea in a tall glass. I did not want a goblet. I was served pre mix long island mix with horrible ratios on making the drink. and also in a goblet. I had ordered A White Russian Drink. and to Substituted Vodka for Tequila. It seem the bartender was giving the server a Kick back about the drink order So I did explained the drink. to be charged for a separate additional shot of tequila. Was not a problem paying for it. It was just not discussed that it would be a additional charge. We order our appetizers that was better in taste then the ENTREES that had been ordered. I had asked for the 8 oz. Sirloin Steak cooked Medium with Mashed potatoes and Broccoli. I was served a PRECOOKED STEAK that was reheated and served. I was so shocked I just asked for a BOX to THROW AWAY then versus sending back. It took well over a hour to get out ENTREES but it seems the Bartender was Chasi she was to busy going on SMOKE breaks wit the group of ppl that she was serving at the bar. the place was completely OFF. the Manager On Duty was lost in the Mix. Name Lori or Dillion. This had to be the worst Experience. I

This was my first time at Applebee's someone told me the food was great, i guess it was for them but our service sure was terrible well not all of it ,but most of it! My sister had a steak which that was made perfect but she also had mash and they forgot the steak sauce and the butter they never came back to the table so she couldn't ask for any...so oops!!! I had salmon and couldn't ask for lemon because they never came back to the table to see how everything was or to see if we needed anything or something they didn't refill my glass of water lets just say they were understaff and they just kept taking carryout orders but had people wait as they wanted to be seated. I sure thought that was rude let me not talk about this place anymore but I'm sure you get it though Ms Rhonda sure did look like she was going to be a great server but definitely disappointed our party of 3. She was so worried about her party of 8 and her party of 6. She forgot she had a party of 1 and 3. Ms Rhonda you missed out on a great tip as a matter of fact 8 $ for your bad service was a little to much if you ask me my sister was a little too generous for a bill of 65$. It would have been more but she forgot to add our appetizer to our order never again.

I just had the worst experience here and I’m not the only one in total 4 of us walked out. Here’s the story: My wife and I came here for drinks after a movie. When greeted we told the hostess we wanted to be seated at the bar as we were only coming for some drinks. She promptly told there would be a 20-25 minute wait “probably not even that long” she said. Mind you when we walked in there was a family of about 5-6 people ahead of us and an older couple. About 5-10 into our wait the family of 5 were called for their table which left us and the older couple waiting. A few minutes later a young couple walked in who also asked to be seated at the bar. A few more minutes go by and the young lady of the you couple that walked in grew impatient of waiting and decided to tell the hostess that if she sat them they would tip the bartender. The hostess consulted with the bartender about the proposition to be tipped and the bartender promptly agreed and the young couple was then seated. Never mind that my wife and I were waiting there was again an older couple that said they had been waiting for approximately 45 mins before we even got there. This is a terrible example of customer service and I will never return here 0 out of 10. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We used to eat here or get takeout almost every weekend util the staff change a few months ago, we haven't eat there since, service is so terrible I don't even have kind words to express our experiences lately at this 86th st location, Last take out order we did, I arrived and no order was even made and we was treated as we was a bother to them, as I set there 5 other people came in for takeout and same thing to them, No food, No order made, No excuses as the store wasn't busy, there is 2 servers in there that are the rudest people to the customers I have seen in there in years, we been going there for years and was a good place to eat till now. When the getto atmosphere changes, we possibly may return, but definitely not until then. Don't waste your time if you want a relaxing good meal at the 86th and Ditch location

Yesterday my daughter & I went here to eat for her bday it wasn't busy but we waited a few to get seated I think the food has changed since last time we went we both didnt like the Mac & cheese & the sirloin steak was very plain no mushrooms on top or anything we got the two for 32 which after tax and tip was a lot more and we really didn't need anything but a couple of our appetizers there was almost a fight that broke out there know anything that saved it that we really liked was our waitress she was awesome they sung my daughter happy birthday and it was it was funny it was great we that was the best part of our meal The only part we really liked out of the whole evening

Ordered pick up and Bethany L is who took care of my order. When I arrived she was very rude and when I said thank you after she handed me my food she completely ignored me and didn’t say a word. After getting home I realized that I didn’t get my side of rice OR the extra side of rice that I paid for. When I arrived back at the restaurant she never said I’m sorry for not including the rice but tried to hand me a side of french fries? If you mess up someone’s order and they have to drive all of the way back to your restaurant then say sorry and make sure to make things right. Last time I will be ordering from this location. Bethany you need an attitude check because you were far from friendly!

I ordered water with lemon. Server came out with water. Asked for lemon a 2nd time. She wasted 3/4 of a lemon when she plated an entire lemon. But this time was almost done with my water that she never refilled. My friend asked for steak sauce. Waitress can back after we had completed our meal. Told her we no longer needed the steak sauce. She just turned around a walked away. Sad thing is the host apologized for putting us in that section before we even sat down. Why keep a server who is that bad. Do they really just need a warm body. They guy in the next section over was rocking 5 tables!

The parking lot is a shared parking lot with other businesses in this "strip mall" called North Common Willows, but there always seems to be enough parking available.

What a great place to take the family. We sit back and talk and enjoy the waitress or waiter as they serve us. Very affordable and you will leave there with a carryout box for sure. Sometimes we will order different meals and share half of it because the portions are pretty healthy meaning rather large. It's definitely a kid friendly place they will enjoy the menu. I take my fathere pretty regularly and we walk away satisfied. A must stop shop!!!

We came in about 10:15. Upon walking in the door there was drink spilled al on the floor before walking in the main door . When we came in there was no one standing at the door . We stood there watching the waiter standing there texting . After waiting and no one else coming we walked over to him to ask for help . Then he tells us they are only taking online orders . That’s completely fine . But when you have no sign and people are waiting watching you on your phone that’s terrible service . Thankfully the new waitress was very nice , went to clean up the drink and helped us with everything we needed .

Applebee's is always a nice place to go with family and friends for a great meal, relax, enjoy the company and watch sports all at the same time.

Every time I dine at Applebee's and there are children, one can tell they definitely enjoy being at the restaurant.

Nothing special but won't return if I have a say in the place to eat. Got seated near the bathroom, around 7ft away, and that's all I could smell even when the food was delivered to us. The staff was friendly a nice, the server on the other hand struggled. He would ask us questions while walking away. The food came out hot and because of the time of day we went we didn't feel rushed to leave.

This is one of the worst places ever it’s disgusting and nasty it’s dirty in the inside trash was every where I didn’t feel comfortable eating here at all and then when you make a complaint they looking at you as if you done something wrong I don’t get it! Horrible food was cold bad customer service when I told the manager my issues it was almost like he didn’t care!! Trash I wouldn’t recommend to anyone….The board of health needs to be investigating this place I didn’t even want to give them any stars they don’t deserve it at all!

Ronda was our server also. Very slow complaining about her achey foot. Slow to seat us and slow to bring food. Kindly tipped her self off my husband card after we had already left some cash for the tip. I was bored and wanted a spinach dip. My husband took me here and it wasn't worth it. Bad service and tipping yourself is very bad business. We are not going back here. It never changes.

We had a very enjoyable evening here. The food was very tasty and timely, and there were no mistakes with any orders. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable to be in. The service was excellent, they made sure we knew all of our options and asked about other items they offered. They took very good care of our toddler which is a huge plus to us. Absolutely no complaints with the menu, plenty to choose from. I would recommend to anyone in the area, and I would go again myself.

I ordered the Shrimp Wonton Stir fry (forgot to take a before pic) There was a good amount of shrimp and they were good.I like spicy food but I wasn't going for spicy today and whoever prepared this was heavy handed with the spice and Salt! Celery in it is yuck! These wonton things were overloaded with spice and salt as well.If you have blood pressure issues,AVOID this dish or just this AppleBees altogether!It definitely wasn't worth $12.52 for carry out or eat in.

I have not been to this place for over a year. There was another one that was closer to my house. They have now closed and this is the next closest one. The food was good and I enjoyed the Cheeseburger and the fries. It was a special on the menu. Good value for the dollar. Check them out sometime soon and see what they can do for you.

I ordered the Top Sirloin 6 oz. medium rare. It was cooked medium well instead. I asked for them to cook me another one. It was a 25 minute wait before I got my steak ( they weren't even busy ). This time it was cooked well done. The manager already took the steak off our bill and gave us discounted prices on the other 2 meals we ordered. The other food was good, no complains. Our server took good care of us. We will be coming back.

I had to have surgery this morning at The Hand to Shoulder Center. So stayed close by and was late when we made it up there. Was starving so picked here. Wasn’t busy busy which I prefer anyway. Ate lunch and it was very good. Love the atmosphere and the service. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for my appetizer had one of the burgers for my meal. The restaurant was really clean on the inside and outside. Restrooms are clean. They do serve alcohol here depending on what you like or want. Great place to gather with friends.

Loved the burger I ordered!! Asked for extra lettuce instead of a bun and told our server it was so I could make like a lettuce wrap and it was brought to all ready wrapped as a sandwich ready for me for me to eat!! A lot of keto options there and very friendly staff ready to help you!!

Their service was good 1 meal was perfectly fine, the second not so much. The Macaroni and cheese was more like pasta with white sauce and not very tasty. The only good thing was the chicken on this meal.

My girlfriends from work have been here a couple of times and really enjoyed the half price appetizers. We ordered one of each of the appetizers on the half price menu. Everything was so good and plenty to share and even some left to take

Did not even get the chance to give a proper review. Showed up after lunch rush and half of the place was cleared. Some tables already cleared and places were available. I was told it would be 10-15 minutes to be seated after waiting

Waiter told us that he was new and asked if it was ok if he took our order. Not many places have waiters that are thzt honest. He did an excellant job.

We stopped in for dinner and found that the waitress is from Fort Wayne Luke us we are just on vacation. So is one of the other servers his name is Dan I and the waitress is named Jayda. They were the best and the food is awsome.

They were super short staffed and kind of had an attitude, I did try to make my order easy. Food was okay, I just got a grilled chicken salad, overall an "okay" experience.

I went to this location late night Wednesday place was not crowded my party of nine was seated immediately it would give a great customer service. The bill for nine people came under $150 everybody ate and we had appetizers.

Seating was a issue plenty of open areas yet they had multiple tables crammed into one section. Order a salad and had to wait 15 minutes to eat it , because I was not given sliver wear. To many people in one section.

We've experienced two poor pick up orders in a row. Both orders had at least one item incorrect, and the orders were never brought out to our vehicle.

We had the best experience here than any other Applebee’s location in awhile. We had automatically gotten seated and our order was quickly taken after that.

No issues here. Food is what you would expect. Bar is a good place to sit and have a beer, play on your phone, and grab some food too. I'll probably be back.

Courteous host, and served, cook needs help, service was back up, garlic mashed potatoes were not hot; or tasty at all! The salad was delicious, pasta good!

Waited 10 mins for someone to ask me have I been assisted . She was looking at me the whole time . Dashers be cold trying to just get a staff attention .
