Usually a good branch but needs to make improvements to its lock down Covid 19 setup. I Ordered and paid online and just needed to pop in and collect my purchase, Should have been a quick transaction. I pre- wrote down my order information on a slip of paper to speed up the collection and was wearing a face mask to be responsible. The problem was that i was made to wait inline buy the Sainsbury's staff to gain access to the Argos store within, even tho the the Argos branch was almost empty at the time. That is a terrible set up. So if Sainsbury's is busy 20,30, 50 people wanting to go into the supermarket your joining the back of that queue when you don't even want to go into the supermarket, Extremely frustrating and inefficient. Terrible logic and set up, i suggest liaising with Sainsbury's to create a separate queue for Argos customers, every problem has a solution and this is a very easy and manageable solution. Once i got in my collection was sorted in about 2 minutes. I will also Leave a similar review for the Sainsbury's store as i believe they need to make these improvements possible for Argos customs. I found the Sainsbury's staff member managing the queue to be rude and unhelpful. I was forced to join the back of the Sainsbury's queue even after explaining i didn't want to go into the supermarket, and that Argos was practically empty and that i had pre payed for my item, just needing to go in for a minute to collect and leave. There was no logic or reasoning with her on this matter at all. She walked away from the queue and as i was entering after joining the back of the queue, she questioned with another Sainsbury's staff member if id queued or not, suggesting i had pushed in. As i was leaving the building she shook her head and started laughing at me. My Argos shopping experience was longer and more stressful than necessary but this was due to Sainsbury's.
Absolutely understand (and respect) the need to limit numbers in store and adhere to social distancing, however, ordered something from Argos for collection and am required to queue in the Sainsburys 'shopping' queue (in excess of an hour I would imagine) to spend 30 seconds inside the doorway collecting my items. It could so easily be resolved with a separate queue for Argos, and a barrier blocking the way into the rest of the store so people couldn't skip the queue. Total waste of time. Wish I had been made aware of this before I ordered the items. I don't want to spend an hour in close proximity to other people unnecessarily,. Argos / Sainsburys, get your act together, or at the very least, make people aware when they are ordering so they can make an informed decision.
Argos is 50% more expensive than other retailers, including high end John's Lewis and rip off Curry's. Specific example: delonghi KG79 Coffee Grinder. £59.99 at Argos. No more than £40.00 anywhere else, and as low as £34.99 on Amazon. Checked some other items, also way higher than other retailers. Raised the specific example above with Argos, and after chasing several times I give up. They tell me their prices fluctuate. "Fluctuate them down then please" I said. After three weeks, and no action... Argos is in the
Must remember to reserve in advance before hand. check out on line for stock Availability and it said they had stock available to collect straight away (10pm night before) so thought I would just pop down next day with out reserving the items. Went down to get the items and checked on there stock screen only to find out I had to reserve them to pick up 6 hours later, at 4pm. As the roads between me and there is one of the busiest roads in and out of Bristol I went back the following day
I would give 0 If i could. I've never been treated by someone who is working in customer service.. Asian girl izza and white girl zari I am only mentioning colour of skin bcoz they lied about everything they could be lying about their names as well.. I simply went to return something which I bought 2 hours ago and they refused to take it for no reason.. simply horribe customer service and very rude they should work as a window cleaner not in customer service..
Bought Xbox elite controller. When home noticed that the box seam had already been opened. When inspecting controller there was damage in various areas. When trying to return to different Argos i was told that I had to return to original store…they also noticed that the serial number on the controller was different to the one on the box!? I’ll be making a return visit this afternoon you Jokers!
One of the rude people I have faced make me feel not welcoming(only this store)no greetings no smile whenever I go there feel regert they supposed to be help customer not turn them away I do so much shopping with argos over the years no problem with any other store but whenever I go to this particular store come out unhappy .i wish they could more helpfull with return options#argossainsbury
Pop in here today to get some items which I order on line as I know this is only a small argos but was shocked as they had it in stocks when the extra stores did not have it in stock, the staff were friendly and helpful and there was no queue so got the items within 2 min when I've got to hartcliffe I've waited for 30 min so will be using this store a lot more now.
Did not want to give any stars. Just had a horrendous Customer Services experience with 2 members of staff, Manager "Nathan" & Assistant "Elyse" Both rude and demeaning. I had a faulty item and they both said I had deliberately broke it. Which is an insult. Will think twice about buying from Argos again.
I would like to give 0 star they were not helpful at all Asian girl was on till were laughing and doing nasty jokes with each other both did lie and said I'm the manager here highly not recommend this store because of them I will never buy anything from this argos store unexperienced and rude staff
Absolutely shambolic - reserved item couldn’t be found - card was charged before the item couldn’t be retrieved - the fast track lane was not being used appropriately, staff were disorganised - incredibly disappointing for a specific trip to collect a specific item
Generally good service, prices not always competitive, but some good deals. One annoying issue, I ordered something on-line, it was shown as in-stock, but after paying I was notified I had to wait for delivery to the store. Really inconvenient and frustrating!
Just was treated very disgustingly with one of the staff, however The problem was kindly sorted out with other staff. Dear manager please look how your staff treat the customers more regularly and in a more efficient way. Regards
Easy access to the shop, it's located on the left when entering Sainsbury's. Quick pick up when ordering online. Management could be more customer friendly and focus, apart of that great shop and well organised.
Don’t order & collect from here. There is only one queue for both Sainsbury and Argos. I had to wait for an hour to pickup one item that was only £20. I asked the staff they said management made the call.
Really handy place to pick up some items same day rather than using Amazon. The staff inside (Dorian and Helena) were really helpful last time I visited, happy and easy attitude, great customer service.
Rarely ever have anything in stock but as it's local to me it's a good store to get products delivered to me for free... plus it's in a sainsbury so can shop for essentials while there.
It's my nearest supermarket, rather boring and food items are what you would expect for everyday shoppers. The booze isle is especially drab and sells a lack of local beers and spirits.
I'm only writing this review because I'm pissed off with seeing the little shopping trolley icon every time I switch on my phone when I'm at work. There is more to life than shopping.
Staff were not very helpful, they didn't seem to make an effort during my visit trying to sort out my problem, so I just left the store.
Not updated opening hours (now 8pm) so wasted journey. Then next day they remain closed at 6pm even when they should be open, ridiculous
Store is just inside the entrance of Sainsbury so me need to go through the store to find it. Service in store is quick and helpful.
Very good and friendly argos. Being in Sainsburys makes it easy to click and collect and even pick up your eBay items!
Sent an EBay purchase there to collect on my way home as would be passing, very helpful staff and efficient service
Didn't actually use it, it just happens to be in the foyer of sainsbury where we went for breakfast.
So convenient to pick up my parcels from, and do some shopping the staff are polite and friendly.
Handy to have an Argos but stock not held on site so best to order and then pick up next day.
Small but functional. Best to check availability online before visiting
