I felt humiliated and racial discrimination at this shop today. I really reallydon’t recommend this shop. They just focused on money with bad services and more expensive prices. At the same time, I was shocked it still existed such a bad service until now Yesterday, I bought some souvenirs for family and friends. After finishing shopping and returning home, I found one of them has some flaws and mark in front of clothes. And they said it was new but when I tried to remove price tag, it was sticky and reposted. So, I wanted to get a refund and polity asked them to be possible. However, he rejected because of refund policy. I wanted to exchanged new one, they said it was last one and I could exchange another items. I asked them if possible to get from another branches or could collect when they would bring same items. The owner and the woman insisted that I made some tears and I tried sowing. They never sell bad things that have some flaws. They made me a fraudster in front of many people and never listen. I bought same one at another shop again. I realised that what even I bought were more expensive than other shop. I felt vey offended from their lies and services that made customer made a liar as well.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Went to return a package to a sender via FREEPOST. I was told to put the item on the scales to be then quoted almost £25! I told him I had a code for freepost to be abruptly told “doesn’t matter” and as I was trying to get the email up on my phone to be rudely told to “move out the way” so he could deal with another customer. Completely cut me out when I tried explaining the retailer covers the postage. I contacted the retailer and they said it’s completely unheard of and they’ve never had issues with anyone sending anything back before! Took the parcel to a legit branch in spring gardens and I told them the situation and they was as shocked as me over having to pay for something to send back which is free returns! Avoid and just go to an actual post office!

I've been going to this branch for over a year now and the staff there are so nice and friendly. They always greet me with a big smile no matter how busy they are. There are two queues in the shop, one is the shop queue and the other is the postal queue. They do tend to the shop queue first (when only one person is available) and l can understand that because the shop queue usually has more people. Despite that, I've never felt like I've waited too long to have my parcels posted. I come here 2-3 times a week. They are so helpful, they always prepare the proof of postage (which takes more of their time) when they see me. I don't even have to ask for it, they all know l want it by default.

Very rude and terrible customer service. The guy who dealt with my query didn’t show any interest or care about my missing recorded delivery, I’m saying this because he didn’t even check on the system, all what he did was to look behind him on a shelf then told me I got the wrong branch as they are not the Arendale post office. I told him there are no post offices inside the Arndale he said I don’t know take it up with the Royal Mail. There are plenty other post offices within a walking distance, I decided to never step in this place ever again. If it was possible I’d rate this place ZERO not one star!

SCAM ARTISTS- didn’t show me price of drink and also increased price of monster from what was on label on shelf. Refused refund and told to exchange so I did and when questioned on price, he Was shouting at my girlfriend too so aggressively and really shook her up at which point I stepped in an said he can’t speak to her like that, he shouted the sentence “I do not give a **k” . Overall good experience for scam centre but not the best for a “post office”. Dont trust your parcels there or money go anywhere else

Had an ok experience at this place today. Accidentally dropped something in store that I was going to buy, so I was picking up the pieces to take it to the counter when the cashier started yelling at me for dropping it and generally being quite rude about it. Then once he finished yelling, he told me I was going to have to buy it, but gave me a discount on it, £4 instead of £6.99, which is why this review is 2 stars instead of 0. Stars for the discount, but 3 gone for the attitude.

Went to this post office several times to top up my electricity key with a government support scheme letter. When they see I am not paying cash to them they refuse to top up with the excuse that our key machine is not working. It's quite strange as this post office is on the main location and their behavior was so rude. I will definitely not recommend it to anyone. Complaining against them already put up.

Excellent opening times especially when sending parcels. So convenient and they guy was helpful and didn't over charge like most other post offices. The item fitted through the sizer so he charged accordingly, the ones in Salford act like oh it's too tight you'll have to send it at the more expensive rate. So I was pleasantly surprised it was stress free here. Excellent selection of vapes in here too

Extremely rude and terrible customer service from the manager. Rejected Amazon delivery as he claimed phone was broken and had been for the last few weeks and it is amazons problem to fix, but have been able to pick up an Amazon parcel a few days ago. When asked for clarification regarding the broken phone, in a very uninterested tone would not clarify and hung up the phone.

bad customer service, managed to lose the item i was sending and refuse to help locate it. they blame the royal mail, for the item being switched with a building contract. but the parcel which my partner received was sealed and and not tampered with. So evidently my item was mixed up in this store. refuses to help or even think about what may have happened

The staff was so rude, lack the basic patience, acting like I owe him money. AVOID! I would rather do a self checkout. Even robot is warmer than you. If you don’t allow customers to make little mistakes (just input wrong pin by mistake, and there’s even nobody waiting behind me!). Write your rules at the door and I wouldn’t get in!!

Everytime I go here I get great service. I run an Ebay business and never have issues with the post or any complaints. They have some nifty and cool gifts too. Managed to buy toilet rolls from there today which was a bonus considering everywhere I have been has sold out. Great shop guys, best souvenir/ post office in Manchester.

Fantastic service and a joy to deal with. I have posted so many parcels this year and always choose to go to this Post Office even though there are closer ones to my house. The 2 men that work there are friendly, helpful and professional and make everything easy. Highly recommend- plus they have a brilliant selection of sweets.

very bad service, watch out they charge more. Posted a normal letter, asked for 1st class letter, but staff charged expensive large letter price. I repeated twice just a normal letter, and staff keep repeating the large letter, and didn't use the meause board to check the size. Aviod and not professional.( 8th August, 14:10.)

I went to buy a food item that my friend recommended, had no prices and he charged me 4.99 for a bag of sweets. My friend went the previous day and got 2 bags of the same sweets for £4? They just make the prices up clearly, since he didn’t scan any barcodes and just put the amount in the card machine.

The person who receives the return collection towards us is so bad and shows us so much attitude and makes us to wait in queue for longtime. As he focus mainly on his products selling rather giving importance to the royal mail return collections.I have faced this 11 th time in a row to drop a comment.

They only want cash as per another comment regarding topping up his energy fob. Seen similar incidents to this one too many times at this branch. Every times I go they are counting huge wads of cash - feels more like a bank branch. Should probably be investigated for money laundering

Fantastic service and great staff that is always super helpful and friendly. Always going here despite closer Post Office to where I work. Additionally, they have a great selection of sweets, sodas, and Cheetos that are resonably priced! Check it out highly recommended!

Made a detour across town on my morning commute as it was advertised as open at 7am. Arrived at 8.07 and not open or any sign of anyone even being in to start opening. If you’re running city centre business your online information needs to be accurate and up to date.

If you pay in cash make sure you check your change carefully! I bought a bottle of water and paid with a tenner. When I checked my change, not only had they short changed me by a pound they had also given me 2 of the old pound coins that are no longer in circulation!

Bought some earphones which were broken when I took them out of the box. Took them back the next day with the packaging and the receipt and they refused to refund or exchange and kept on saying that I must have used them. Thieves operating under a franchise.

Convenient post office, pleasant staff, always chatty and willing to help. i use this branch a lot for posting my eBay stuff and I’m very happy with everything. I can also recommend walkers shortbread plus they have a wide range of souvenirs and sweets.

Has 2 seperate queues for post office and store but serves all the store people 1st while you stand waiting for the post office even though we were waiting for over 5 minutes and the other people had just walked in! Save your time and go elsewhere!

If I Could give 1 star I would have! The guy focus on money, worst customers service, I thought it only happen to me. Just by reading the comment I now realised the guy is the problem.

Really helpful when I had to urgently send a package. He helped me do it as quickly as possible and even stopped the postman from leaving before I was done.
