The personnel in the office where polite, professional and at the same time down to earth. Mark made contact via email the day before and gave me a number to call for transfer to the nearby rental car office. We had arrived the previous day and had stayed at a hotel and the transfer from arrival to the office was still on offer - I thought this excellent customer service. The transfer driver (I didn't catch his name) was engaging during the short drive briefing us on everything from insurance to top tips on driving in the UK (thanks again!). Everything was crystal clear, smooth and easy. Thank you too for the surprise upgrade to the automatic, that and the cruise control made our drive from Manchester to Scotland a pleasant experience rather than a chore. I will definitely be using Arnold Clark again.

We dealt with the nicest staff member who quickly sorted everything for us. We were tired and jetlagged after a long flight from Australia and actually got our dates mixed up. I apologize but have forgotten her name. It was a very unusual name and I think ended in Ummaa? She was amazing and made the whole process a breeze. I actually sent an email of gratitude to her manager but I did not receive a response. I actually hugged the staff member and thanked her for the service she provided us with. I rented a car for my family’s 4 weeks holiday in the UK. I decided on Arnold Clark after reading a lot of positive reviews thanks to all. It was such a wonderful experience. I felt relaxed after been welcomed by Homaa who is just the right person you want to deal with after or before a long flight with a family. There was a bigger and better car waiting for us than the one we booked with no extra cost. Pick up and return were very smooth and paper work was clearly explained and nothing was complicated. I would also like to thank the shuttle drivers. They were both nice and helpful. I will certainly use again and recommend to others.

Hire a SUV for our honeymoon in the Lake District. Arnold Clark made the whole process so easy. Booked online and got a call the day before to confirm details to save time in the branch. Once at the beach for pick up Car was ready and waiting for me, full of fuel, which they offer for you to but in advance saving money from what it is at the pump. The car itself was spotless, great car with loads of spec extras. Stop looking at reviews, Arnold Clark (AC) will look after you. I can’t speak highly enough of this company and it’s staff. The manager Naz got us out of a hole after we were letdown by another company at Manchester Airport. AC were very friendly and professional and so nice to deal with after a long flight and after having to deal with the other awful rental company, these guys were a breath of fresh air. The price was very reasonable too. We will without a doubt be using them again and I recommend them whole heartedly. A big thank you to Naz and Mark.

After a very long and delayed flight from Melbourne, it was a relief to finally arrive at Manchester airport. The driver of the shuttle bus was very friendly and helped us with our luggage without hesitation. On arrival at the office, the agent Huma, was extremely efficient, sympathetic with our delay and organised our car immediately. A month later, we dropped off our car and the agents, Mark and Naz were there to drive us back straight to the airport and ensured our luggage was moved without us asking. An overall great service from Lindsey, both on pick up and drop off. We were confident In what we where getting and what was expected. First time we have used Arnold Clark and I have to say that the whole experience, from online booking to picking up and returning the car, was very smooth and easy. Jess and the rest of the team were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The car itself was immaculately presented and there was a thorough (and documented) handover inspection of the vehicle. Hire rates were similar to other companies' but still competitive. We will definitely keep Arnold Clark in mind for our next hire car.

We rented a car for our holidays in Wales. First we were surprised, that Arnold Clark was not at the "car rental villige" (where we went first), but had it's own shuttle service, that had to be called by phone. As soon as we checked out the right address and how to get there, everything went well. The people are very friendly, the car was as expected and the driver who took us back to the airport said goodbye to us like a friend. A little kindness like that brightens the hole day!

When arriving in Manchester I called the number I was told, within 10 minutes a shuttle was there to pick me up. The service once at the depot was friendly and my advisor Homaa was wonderful and went over any questions I had. Making sure I understood the car and I felt secure leaving. Mark was very professional when dealing with me and I'm not sure of the other guy he was working with but he was willing to help me out picking the best car for what I needed it for. I booked it online and he was able to knock some money off it and then he gave me a better car than I originally booked. Not many people get noticed for the good work and always get noticed for the bad work. Don't normally do this but I felt like these people need praising for good work

I had a really good rental experience from this branch. All the staff I spoke to were accommodating, friendly and helpful and they had me on the road in no time! I also appreciated the thoroughness of the car check so I felt assured I wouldn't be held responsible for any damage that wasn't my fault. I would certainly hire a car from here again and they had one of the lowest "under 25" premiums in the area.

I've rented a number of cars all over Europe, but this was by far the best experience I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and enormously helpful on both occasions. We were late when returning the car due to traffic problems, but thanks to the understanding of the staff and their quick response, we were still able to catch our flight. The service at Arnold Clark is 2nd to none. Pick up from the Airport by Naz who had transferred our cases into the car before we had completed the paperwork. Mark couldn't do enough to help.We were able to take the car early. The car was immaculate and they filled the car 25p a litre cheaper than we would pay at the pump. Overall wouldn't ever use any other company at the airport.

Have done lots of research around car rental company but I visit Arnold Clark frequently because they have the best staff! Mark always attends to any enquiries that I have regarding my rental car and for future bookings. Bex’s made my check in so easy and explained about the rental car well. When renting a car from Manchester airport we found the whole process to be professional and the staff friendly & helpful. From getting picked up at the airport, to collecting & returning the car to being dropped back to the airport, everything went smoothly and with no nasty surprises as we have sometimes experienced with other car hire companies. Rang them up to book a duel control car last night and the guy called mark is a legend. Helped me get it sorted within minutes and even went out the way to help me get it on the road next day for my lesson. What a find!! Such a positive stressfree experience . Recommended by our son - they fill up your fuel for about a third cheaper than the petroleum station. Even better that a ‘one way’fee & drop off at the airport was included & cheaper than most other car rentals. Complimentary coffee/tea & biscuit was an added bonus. Pick up and drop off was fast and easy. Thumbs up for the quick service but the car on the other hand was old (9 seater Mercedes Vito) and in quite poor condition. And very importantly when dropping off the car please make sure you are before their closing time other wise you are stuck with the car for another day.

Excellent professional service by Mark for my walk-in enquiry on a Dual Control car.If you have the IDs & DVLA codes etc handy the check in process will be super quick. I believe there’s also an online upload option which wasn’t applicable for my walk-in. The car was cleaned quite well. Highly recommended.
