I am not sure if this incognito review is by mistake or on purpose but let me clarify - My paintings which are sold by this gallery are hand made by me, and they are limited edition originals and not replicas. They are sold cheaper compared to the prices of limited edition on my website, as a promotion. You can have full confidence buying there. Regarding the feedback about how artists are treated - based on my experience with the people who run the place this sounds very strange, but I do not know what this is about. Anyway, the feedback about the artists is relevant only to artists and not to customers of course. Enjoy my art! :)

It’s a beautiful place in general. Didn’t know about the gem when I first visited the mall. I love how they support local, and worldwide artists here. The paintings have a very neat texture to them, and are inspiring to an artist like me who paints regularly. The blonde lady that showed us around was extremely friendly, and told us interesting facts about each of the pieces. Will definitely visit next time I’m back here in downtown.

Artists are treated very poorly here. Some paintings are being sold as originals which are replicas available on the artists website for 1/3 of the price. If you bought an Afremov painting as an original piece, it is not. Artists in the city are expected to be there 20 hours a week with no compensation for their time. Questions about legalities are met with immediate dismissal. I would not recommend artists work here.

If there was a zero rating I would definitely give it a zero rating. Went there because there were reviews of a "friendly staff" but I was welcomed with was an utterly disappointing staff telling me not to waste time searching for pieces I could not afford and selling replicas of originals while stating they were originals. Potential customers, you have been warned (especially of Jonathan).

Staff were very knowledgeable about the artists and their techniques; Service both I store and off-site was excellent; the interior designer made a number of very useful recommendations in terms of the placement of my art pieces in my home; she also assisted in rehanging some of my existing pieces in addition to hanging the pieces that I purchased from them; Miracle and Arina were great!!

have been looking for painting to match currently owned pieces and walked into this store whilst in the core shopping mall whilst on holiday. Mark was attentive, knowledgable and extremely helpful, we purchased two paintings which he shipped to the uk, extremely well wrapped arrived in perfect condition can highly recommend this store and its employees

This is a cool spot to stop by and enjoy cool art. They have contemporary and classic art pieces. The gallery is spacious and comfortable. You can take your time without being hounded by a salesperson. I found the lego pieces interesting, along with some of the contemporary brand ones.

Specialists are dealt with inadequately here. A few compositions are being sold as firsts which are copies accessible on the specialists site for 1/3 of the cost. In the event that you purchased an A fremov painting as a unique piece, it isn't.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It’s great that the staff are also interior designers and give honest, professional advice. Helped to rearrange my existing artwork and recommended styling tips to further accentuate the colours of the artwork.

There's a girl that works there with an accent.. she took the time to talk with me about about art.. I was just looking and didn't have any money to buy anything but she still made me feel very welcomed and important. Thank you for that.

Art Space and Design stands out in its curation and presentation of art. Every visit feels like a journey through different design elements, and I always leave with a renewed appreciation for creativity.

Great place, with lots of selection . Arina and staff are great to work with and offer great customer service. Really appreciated how they come to your home to help hang any art you purchase.

Finally something different in Calgary. Exhibition of talented artists and some are even provocative for Cowtown. I would like to see even more abstract and nude art.

Superb artwork and the service to match. Don't look anywhere else for art in Calgary. This is the place to go. Thanks Mark and Jonathan for an excellent experience.

SCAM! Use google lens on their paintings. You can find they are EXACT copies, and not originals, as they claim. Try it for yourself!

Dishonest staff, they'll try to sell you anything as authentic when it's actually replicas. Be careful of Lorees especially.

It's a beautiful art space were you can find unique piece of arts, not busy with lots of them, they just show the best.

Beautiful & unique pieces you won’t see elsewhere! And most are Canadian residing artists!!!!!

Amazing gallery! my experience there was incredible, the art was spectacular, LOVED IT!
