The reason I’m giving this place 5 stars is because they are a awesome team. I messed my ankle up real bad in February of this yr and I was assigned to another place before this which did the bare minimum for my ankle. I switched to this place right away and they took me in like family not a patient. These therapists know exactly what to do to help and how to make the experience for you fun and enjoyable. After being there for just 2 days I started to feel like my ankle will actually heal with the help of these people. The journey was well worth it. My therapist Lin was amazing she worked me but it was never nothing I couldn’t do. She had faith in me when I didn’t she pushed me and now I’m running and jumping again. When she wasn’t available I had Bobby and he was just as great. They work together as a team to make sure your taken care of. If your having second thoughts about coming here then I want to stop you and say do it they will try hard to help you and make sure that your back to good health. I’ve been done for a little while now and still go back and thank them just because the work they did for my ankle. If it wasn’t for me then I don’t think my ankle would’ve healed right.

Very professional and has excellent knowledge of what exercise will be used to help bring natural healing/better use of muscle/bone after surgery/accident. You are first greeted with a smile from Jan, the office manager, who will help you fill out paperwork if you need help in order to start your treatment. Then you are introduced to your therapist who will examine your paperwork and do your physical examination to what type of therapy you need to assist you with developing a stronger function for your body. Jon, Deb, sharlin, Bobby, and Kelsey are the therapists who are knowledgeable a compassionate to guide you to your wellness. Markita, Jatona, and and Marquis are the aides that are very helpful as well. They are helpful in scheduling your appointments. I'm very thankful for all services I have received from this clinic. I'm wishing the manager, Jon, and all the therapists and aides. My best for them, and they should get more payment, more vacation time, and a long term needed career. I thank you for the very much! Also I love Ed very much who was also a very important part of this team.

Let me tell you about this location and it’s a hidden gem to get you back right. The first person you’ll see when you visit is a woman named I believe her name is Jen but she gives me auntie vibes. She seems straightforward will not hesitate to speak her mind and is on top of business when it comes to patients. There was another young lady that was there before me, don’t see her anymore at the front desk, she had a welcoming energy on top of whew yes lawd lol.You have Ninavia, which is a PT and let me tell you fellas, god did. She has a great personality and is attentive on top of that talk about pressure god did his thing when he made her. It is a clean location, easy to access and for me laid back. Although there isn’t a lot of staff it’s what makes it so comfortable. Im grateful that I found the location and they are helping me get back to 100 percent and would above and beyond recommend this location. Foot note Ninavia should be employee of the month, hat off to you athletico you did your thing put this location together and providing staff that will keep your attention .

Athletico Chatham West is Absolutely the best PT experience I have ever had. The office staff are very polite and professional and also have great recommendations. Jan is the complete best Administrator I have ever Encountered❤. She is thorough, direct and on point all while being so polite(you dont find many people like her these days). Deb, My Therapist is the bomb. She pin points all my issues and helps me correct them and shows me very productive things to carry out at home. I have been dealing with this particular branch since 2015 and after 5 back surgeries and a broken knee, I can promise the staff at this branch are the only ones I would ever want to deal with. Adwoa and Angela are the best assitants.. They are very helpful and accomodating. And although I am not assisted by Nina, Sharlin and Michelle, they are still the most polite and professional PT's and the are all very stern and gentle at the same time with their patients(as I pay attention to detail). I would 100% recommend this office to ANYONE who needs therapy! I LOVE THIS PLACE❤

I have been having Physical Therapy for about 2 months and it has done WONDERS for my shoulder! I have improved my flexibility over 50% and the pain in my shoulder has went from a level 8 to a level 1 - 2. I used to wake up every night with shoulder pain. Now I don't usually wake up with pain and if I feel pain when I wake up, I can usually stretch it out. Thank You to my WONDERFUL PHYSICAL THERAPIST, DR. WING CHI, aka Sharlin, or Wing Chi Lau for your dedication! In addition, I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Deb, Dr. Nina and Dr. Michelle, who are also Absolutely AMAZING! I find that the staff is very friendly and the clinic was always clean. Everyone has been very helpful. My therapist was Robert Chambers, and he was not only very friendly, but he knew exactly what my needs were. Some days I was very stiff and sore, and Robert knew exactly what to do to improve my stiffness. . Robert was always very patient with me. I always felt welcome and I developed a great rapport with Robert. I highly recommend Athletico Chatham West! All the aides were very helpful . The other therapist (Deb, Sharlin, and Jon) were also excellent! Jan, who is the office coordinator is also very friendly :) In addition to the other staff, I would like to make a special commendation to all the aides at the clinic including Jatona, Marquis, Markita, Derrion, Reggie, and Alan. They were always very friendly and helpful. I always enjoyed their spirit and their upbeat energy.

I have brought my daughter here a couple of times and waited for her in the lobby. Kudos to Ms Watson who manages the front desk. Today a client came in and playfully made a remark to her that was uncalled for and very disrespectful. Ms Watson handled herself so professionally. The client then tried to circle back around to justify his remark in a different way. Kudos to Ms Watson keeping her composure and not justifying the remark in any way. Athletico give Ms Watson a raise or let her know how much appreciated she is and others as well who come in everyday and have to deal with the disrespect that they encounter at the front desk with a small portion of the clients. Kudos again Ms Watson and keep up the fantastic work!

I came to Athletico on 83rd for work therapy conditions and never imagine that I would experience such awesome care. The staff here gave exceptional customer service. Everyone is so friendly and caring. I have never been to a physical therapy facility that treated everyone like family, from the administration all the way to the physical therapist assistant's. The therapist that assisted me was the awesome Sharlin and Michelle these two ladies are the best I felt like I was with family when I was with them. The staff also keeps the facility so clean because they care about our health. I love this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs or is looking for physical therapy on the south side of Chicago.

Sharlin is working with me as my physical therapist and has proven to be knowledgeable and client friendly way beyond any expectations. She KNOWS the musculature of the human body and is always able to make important but critical suggestions during sessions. I am working with her remotely via ZOOM and absolutely love it! At first I was hesitant because of the pandemic and realized this option was available and decided to try it. A pure winner decision. I came in for pelvic concerns after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl. Deb was my therapist and she is amazing! I recommend anyone to go to her. She is very knowledgeable about the body and the inner workings. I really liked how she took time to understand what I was going through. I came in to Athletico due to a motor vehicle accident and from the time I came in to the time I left it has been a very great experience. The staff is very warm and inviting. I love that the staff calls me by my name here and I appreciated that they cater to all their clients with care. My physical therapist Sharlinn made certain I was in tiptop shape to get back to work and other activities that my accident kept me from. I can honestly say I left pain-free !! I was referred to this location by my Primary Care Physician for the treatment of “bursa” or inflammation of the hip. I started roughly a month ago with significant pain impacting my ability to cycle, walk, or sleep without significant pain. After weeks of a targeted plan and sharing stretches and strategies I can use at home, pain is reduced to little to nonexistent. In addition to this, the facility is clean and welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly and caring… ensuring you get what you need to get better.

My experience at Athletico West Chatham was GREAT! My physical therapist, Michelle, was patient but had me working hard to get better after a total knee replacement. She answered all of my questions and gave wonderful suggestions for working out at home. I’m so appreciative of the the help I received from Michelle and other staff members. They were professional, patient, kind and very helpful. My ability to walk has improved greatly. I would recommend Athletico West Chatham to anyone needing physical therapy.

Bobby is AWESOME!! I was working with him when I first injured my arm. He was compassionate and understanding. I wasn’t just another patient he made me feel like family. The location is always clean with staff constantly cleaning equipment and high touch areas throughout the visit. Appointments were convenient especially for those who work traditional hours. My physical therapist was Charlyn. She was very personable, hands on, professional but more importantly knowledgeable and willing to listen. I've sustained many injuries due to my line of work, and by far, Nina is one of the better therapists. She's very professional, and she takes a hands-on approach. In addition, she's reassuring and accomadating. Overall, this facility has some of the best therapists, in my opinion, it's all work, however the atmosphere is soothing. I would certainly recommend this location. All things considered, the aides and the office coordinators are amazing and professional as well.

This Athletico facility is the best place to go for PT rehabbing from an injury or accident. The office manager, Jan Watson, is a tremendous asset to the team as she provides excellent customer service and resolves all concerns. The therapists on site are a team working together and the atmosphere inside motivates you to understand the importance of rehab. This location is a silver lining in the Chatham area of Chicago. Still had hip/back/leg issues after hip replacement bout 5 yrs ago. Stated physical therapy at the 83rd Street location. For me easy to get to.. parking lot available. Desk service was good to get you checked it My physical therapy was wonder. Each session was 1hr and she worked me for that hour. The set up is spacious and clean. The exercises where very helpful and after 12 weeks I can still the improvement. Shout out to my therapist Sharlin !!!!

During the initial session my physical therapist was able to rapidly assess and diagnose the source of my pain, and quickly set out a therapeutic plan. I haven’t been using the services of Athletico/Chatham west, for the last six months. I am pleased to report, that the service provided by my therapist, Sharlin Lau, has been superb. The entire staff is courteous, concerned, and helpful. Sharlin is enthusiastic, hard-working, and efficient. She is willing to go above, and beyond what is required of her. I highly recommend her, and the Chatham/West office to anyone. They are truly a team!

My therapist Shirlin (excuse typo if incorrect) and I celebrating my last day. I rang the bell and was gifted with a parting gift of a water bottle. Completed 24 sessions at 3 days per week which included 13 exercises per sessions for a pinched nerve in my neck. Shirlin is awesome, awesome, awesome. The staff was ALWAYS SUPPORTIVE AND PLEASANT! Great location to visit for your PT needs. Thanks for getting me back to full functionality.

My doctor referred me to this Athletico location, and the staff there are the best of the best! I was assigned to Charlin, and she really helped my lower back to become more flexible and reduced the pain that I often have there. Her customer service was very professional and personal at the same time, becaùse she really listened to all of the details concerning my injury. The facility is very clean. The energy is good here. Everyone is nice it’s jus cohesive. I Look forward to my appointments and I appreciate how far I’ve come in such a short time. The assignments given by Michelle allow me to continue getting better at home. An I actually benefit from that. I came here for a couple of months to recover from foot surgery, and they made it a swift and painless recovery period. I worked specifically with Michelle and she is great at what she does! I would like to say they are very very professional the facility is very clean the washrooms are extra clean they on top of the game here they are very knowledgeable about your injury and how to recover a very attentive/attend to you and your needs and they are hard worker. I have been going here for a few weeks and I must say it has been great. I’m being treated for neck and back pains and have made great improvements. My sleep has even improved. My therapist, Sharlin, was awesome. I came in with knee and ankle pain due to running. I was experiencing pain when stepping out of bed in the morning, difficulty walking any distance and pain with shoes on. I worked with her 3 x's a week and feel MUCH better. The space is inviting, friendly and clean.

I’ve been coming here for the last couple of months and Nina my PT is the absolute best! She’s great and in tune with her patients, I highly recommend this place if you are in need of Physical Therapy
