I absolutely love Athletico they have made my post op hip surgery experience amazing! I have been to multiple different Physical Therapists due to moving (states) as well as a couple different surgeries and this place is by far the best! They offer dry needling which was a very good experience! They don’t leave you feeling like you don’t know what the next step is. They are hands on. They guide you through every step of the way. Most places I been too the first day or week there hands on then they just toss you aside and won’t ever do hands on therapy again (massage and stretching) this place won’t do that to you! They actually care about you! Banaka Is my Physical Therapist in the Westport Athletico and she is seriously the sweetest soul! She is smart and she knows what she’s doing! She called to check up on me throughout treatment. She has amazing hours to fit my crazy life schedule! What PT stays open till 7am-8pm? Not many, but this one does! I am a surgical Tech I see intra operative experience and being the patient is hard for me typically. I tend to recover slower because most PT places just in general want to go at their pace not the patients and Athletico went at my pace and abided by my doctors wishes! I came into this therapy office in pain and way behind schedule due my previous PT leading me astray and not abiding by my surgeons post operative restrictions! This PT picked me right off the floor so to speak took me back to the basics (instead of putting me in the 60 day post op routine ) they took me back to day one! We started with stretching and massage and heat! Then pushed through to some strength and swimming! Now cycling and dry needling! Seriously recommend this place! I had surgery by the Chiefs orthopedic surgeon and there staff even comes here for PT as well as they refer patients here because it’s that good! Thanks Athletico! I suffered a concussion and was TERRIFIED to find that my ability to focus my eyes was completely gone as well as my ability to keep myself balanced. I felt extremely overwhelmed and depressed that it was not resolving by itself. I had always taken clear vision for granted. My neurologist recommended I start seeing Banaka for vestibular therapy. At that point, I was skeptical that there would be any improvement. However, on the very first visit, Banaka repeatedly reassured me with a thorough, easy-to-understand explanation of my injury. Her education, experience and expertise were immediately evident. I left that first appointment comforted and more hopeful than I had felt since the accident. My hopes were not misplaced!! Throughout my treatment I had very hard patches, but Banaka patiently kept me motivated and was always ready to reinforce my treatment by pointing out my progress. During the course of my treatment, it was my pleasure to work with all of the staff, not just Banaka. It was truly the highlight of my day. Kim at the front desk is amazing and handled all my scheduling, insurance and doctor interaction in a proactive way so I never had to worry about any issues issues and could focus on just my healing. Kim is on it! The aides that are there to assist were well-trained to help during the exercises, but the bonus was that they all had an encouraging, enthusiastic and empathetic way of assisting. And yes I enjoy alliteration :) I was in often and eventually came to know them all. I was treated like family--not just as a project to help with a dollar sign attached to me. I noticed that all the patients were treated this way. That really set this place above the status of adequate and put them into the category of EXTRAORDINARY. If you are looking for treatment, Athletico is the only place to go!

The team at Athletico Westport is great! Banaka is an awesome PT. Being a therapist in the mental health field, patient-centered care is something I look for in all medical clinicians and Banaka has this times 10! She is sweet, caring, and genuinely takes interest in her patients. She remembers the little things and that speaks volumes of her patient care. Coming in, I had a lot of issues in my dominant foot as a result of a complete fracture to my fibula, plantar facitis, and a heel spur. Banaka worked magic on my foot and in just a little less than a month, I have seen an improvement in my pain, balance, and strength in my weak foot. She was also very understanding when I had to take a break due to some personal issues in my life and made sure that I was set with exercises and support until I could come back. Drew is also wonderful. He has great communication and is very accommodating when trying to schedule patients. He really went the extra mile in making sure that my care would be covered by Medicaid. His communication was always polite, prompt, and thorough and he always made sure to follow up with me on each step. Additionally, the staff takes safety measures in regards to COVID-19 very seriously. They take each person’s temperature upon entering the building and make sure everyone wears a mask properly at all times. Each station and all the equipment is sanitized very well after each patient and there is plenty of space in the facility to maintain social distancing procedures. I recommend this location for anyone looking for a physical therapy “home!” You won’t find anyone better in the KC metro area.

AMAZING!!!! I cant express just how happy I am with my Physical Therapist Clare. Being just the ripe young age of *clears throat* 29 (give or take a few) and hearing a diagnosis of 'patellar tendinitis' was scarier than an haircut from Edward Scissorhands. I was worried that the pain I was feeling in my knees was irreversible. As someone who loves activities like dancing, hiking and running, I was starting to feel pretty discouraged and questioned if I'd be abled to partake in those activities anymore. Clare immediately assured me that this was treatable and with the right exercise and muscle engagement I will improve. She was informative, friendly and encourageing. She always asks how I'm doing and more than just pleasant conversation, she's truly gotten to know me. Its easy to trust a providers care for you when they actually show genuine interest in you. In fact, the same compliment can be given to the entire staff! Fast forward 2 months later I am feeling much better. Knee pain has SIGNIFICANTLY decreased and Im feeling more empowered than ever. We may not be able to turn back the hands of time but there is absolutely something to be said about the youthfulness that magically appears when you feel stronger, healthier, faster, and PAIN FREE. Thank You Clare and Thank You to the entire staff for all the help, friendliness and compassion I see everyone having for the patients. We are all so grateful that each of you chose this wonderful profession because you're all great at what you do! I think Athletico is the 'Bees Knees'...but without the whole tendinitis thing; their knees are perfect. 10/10 recommend.

I just completed my physical therapy at Athletico (Westport) and have to credit Lydia with how wonderfully I have recovered. I never really put much stock in physical therapy before going to Athletico but I am now a true believer. At the time of my first session, I was not able to stand on my injured leg and had to use a walker at all times. Through Lydia's skilled assessments and ability to devise the perfect therapeutic regimen, my strength and balance were restored and I can now walk without assistance on any surface. Lydia knew just when to push me and when to relent a bit - she knew how to achieve a perfect balance. I could go on about how great Lydia is but that might lead you to believe that I didn't think much of the rest of the staff but nothing could be further from the truth. Drew was typically the first person I encountered when I arrived at Athletico and his upbeat attitude set the tone for the rest of my session. When Lydia was able to take a much deserved vacation, I worked with most of the other therapists, at least, once. Each one was very attentive to the plan of care Lydia had developed for me and, although each had a slightly different approach, they were, to a person, clearly dedicated to performing at the highest level of their profession. I would be remiss if I didn't add that each person I encountered at Athletico Westport made me feel that he/she genuinely cared about me as a person and each was truely invested in doing everything possible to to make my hopes for a full recovery a reality. I miss seeing them, especially Lydia, but they will all have a special place in my heart!

I found Athletico by doing a google search after a terrible experience with St. Lukes in Kansas City. Myself and another friend both see Lydia, and she is GREAT! When your there, your amongst all the patients and you can tell how encouraging, kind and knowledgeable the whole staff is. One of my biggest issues with St. Lukes was that they wanted me to drive 30 minutes north twice a week for PT, plus I would need to wait 4 weeks to get in. When your in pain and not ok, the last thing you want to do is WAIT to heal. Athletico was AMAZING out of the gate, Drew at the front desk in the Westport location listen to my story and got me in within 48 hours. They are great about booking your appointments out and work with your schedule. There is never a lack of encouragement or support. But most importantly you feel like your with family when your there. I am nearing the end of my treatment for Whiplash, wrist and shoulder injury from a car wreck. They get to know you as a person, not just as a patient. Even if you do not live near the Westport location, I highly recommend this company. I had the pleasure of being in for treatment when a group of corporate staff came in for an Anniversary party. They all treated me like family too, I go 3 times a week since beginning of June 2021. When your injured, you need someone who empathizes and wants to help you get better the best way possible and I am so so thankful for this amazing facility! Trust me, this is where you want to go if your need Physical or Occupational Therapy! Call each location to see if they offer OT, Westport does!

I came to Athletico with chronic tension headaches and daily myofascial pain. I had recently moved to KC and was on the waiting list for a primary care doctor, and after a frustrating visit to a chiropractor that seemed to care more about billing my insurance for x-rays than actually helping me, I gave Athletico a call. They responded promptly to schedule a consultation. Since I did not have a PCP to write a script for PT, they gave me the phone number of a physician to whom they refer patients, who was able to see me the following week. Because dry needling is an integral aspect of my treatment, I have worked most closely with Banaka, who is an incredibly skilled practitioner. I have also had the pleasure to work with other physical therapists at this clinic, Clare and Lydia, who offered a similar high level of care. Though I haven't worked directly with him, I have watched their occupational therapist, Greg, work with patients, and have been impressed with his demeanor as well. Further, their patient coordinator, Kim, has been a delight, as have all of the assistants at the practice. Above all, the providers at Athletico have been receptive to my needs, thorough in their explanations, kind and welcoming. I have always been treated with the same dignity and respect that I see them give all of their patients. I highly recommend this clinic, and have seen great improvement through the course of my treatment. If you're in pain, do yourself a favor and give them a call.

I cannot say enough good things about this Athletico facility! Starting with the front desk person. Drew was my first contact via the phone with the facility. He was friendly, very helpful and thorough! I had some questions and he did a fantastic job of researching the answers for me! After that, I was fairly sure I was going to get my PT from Athletico-Westport. Lydia was my therapist and Banaka stepped in when Lydia was not available. Two outstanding professionals! Lydia is great! She is knowledgeable, patient, calm and encouraging. She was very attentive to my issues and explained everything. Banaka is wonderful! She is competent, efficient, experienced, friendly, helpful and dedicated. The atmosphere of the clinic is friendly and warm and yet professional. It was a pleasure to go to my appointments! Plus, I definitely improved! I got stronger and felt less pain. And I was given a number of effective exercises to do at home that will help me to continue to improve! I don’t know where I would be without the help of Dr. Banaka Okwuone & her staff. I’ve been working with her for about 10 months after a severe car crash. She’s been treating me for a concussion, which left temporarily deaf in one ear and unable to walk and balance for months. I also suffered straining of my abdominal muscles, which she is able to treat through through pelvic floor physical therapy. She has also treated my shoulder and neck pain. She can truly do it all. They do a great job of creating a positive and welcoming environment for every patient. I fell into a severe depression adjusting to the changes in my body after the accident, but Banaka and her team gave me hope. You can tell she genuinely cares about you as a human being, and about seeing you heal. I appreciate that she has the knowledge and training to do so. I cannot recommend this facility enough. Drew is awesome and helped me navigate the frustrating aspect of auto insurance billing. Thank you Athletico!!!

I highly recommend this AthletiCo physical therapy center. The staff is professional and super friendly and it is a very organized and comfortable environment. Both Banaka and Clare have worked hard to figure out what’s best for me - and every individual that comes in. Which is very different from physical therapy I had in the past which was more cookie-cutter style / same treatment for everyone (and did nothing for me). My back has been getting “thrown out” for years now and Athletico staff are actually helping me find ways to improve my back strength and keep myself moving without pain. Both Clare and Banaka have given great explanations of my treatment plan - helping me pinpoint the two problem areas in my back and giving me exercises to overcome these issues. If you need physical therapy, this is the spot. It’s right in the heart of Westport, has easy parking access, and you’ll actually want to show up because you’ll feel better and you’ll like your therapist!

I have never felt like I was in better hands than with Athletico and the lovely doctors at the Westport location. The previous reviews were a big catalyst for my decision to try this location. You will never feel forgotten, misunderstood, or ignored. Banaka does an especially good job at making you feel like you're at home and with people you know and trust - and the way she connects with every patient I see her with is a huge bonus. I started coming here for general back pain after I finally got insurance and for the first time in what feels like a decade, I have experienced days that are completely pain free. They give you exercises at home as well as in our therapy sessions so you can continue to work on your problem areas while you're away. From the consultation to the first appointment to here, with few bad days and many pain free days, I have known I was in the right place every step of the way. Thank you for all you do!

What a great place. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Clare, Banaka, Lydia, and the entire staff are absolutely top-notch and inspire instant professional confidence. But as serious as they are about the PT, somehow they manage to make the atmosphere fun. It feels more like your favorite pub or coffee shop than a "medical" establishment. I had three sessions a week for several months and looked forward to every one of them, even when they were quite challenging; and in that time I never saw a single patient who didn't perk up and smile when they walked through the door. The work gets done, but everybody is laughing and having a good time, too. It's rare to find that combination of professional competence and great atmosphere. Very great care has been taken in putting this place together, and it shows. I almost wish I hadn't gotten better so quickly -- I am going to miss my sessions.

After experiencing an auto accident I had to receive physical therapy from athletico. From the very first visit to the Westport facility I felt that the staff knew what my needs were and that they knew how to treat them. The staff was always attentive and informative. They were always ready for me upon my arrival to start, the facility was always clean and I never felt hesitant to go there. During these cautious times with the pandemic I paid attention if the equipment was carefully cleaned after each use in which it was immediately after each use. Everyone that worked with me at the facility was fantastic and exemplified true professionalism. I will truly recommend athletico to anyone I know that should need their services. Athletico Physical Therapy has been the best thing that has ever been happened to me being a professional track runner. I was referred here by my doctor for therapy to strengthen my pelvic floor. To say the least, I came across one amazing physical therapist by the name of Banaka Okwuone and she not only strengthened my pelvic floor muscles and fixed the pain I had been dealing with and having all track season, but she also has helped strengthen so many other areas and muscles that I use for running. I can’t thank Banaka enough for how much she has kicked my butt in therapy but the rewards have been so much greater and will make all the difference for me this upcoming track season. The staff here are all great and so nice to work with! If you have any type of issue they are so knowledgeable and are guaranteed to fix those issues. Thank you Athletico Staff, your so amazing!

My husband has been working with Lydia for the last few months, she has made a huge difference in his abilities... Our first visit was in a wheelchair, now he hops out of the car and walks in unassisted! Lydia is kind, patient and firm and he loves that, always trying to get her to let him do more, all the while putting up with his insistence to listen to country music while they workout! Lydia has been so encouraging and supportive to us both, always taking time explain the good days and bad days, making it easier to understand the disease and what is going on with the body, which helps us when we get frustrated or discouraged. All the staff are phenomenal, I loved Drew the first day I called to make an appointment and have not regretted choosing athletico in Westport once. Thanks you all so much, I would recommend this group to everyone!!

The best part? Having Aaron Dugan as my physical therapist. He is the best! I enjoyed learning to improve my balance, strengthen my muscles prior to surgery and knowing that many of the activities and exercises we used did not require extremely fancy equipment. With online exercise lists and a little training, I was able to replicate most of the exercises as homework, which is essential to progressing toward healing. Aaron was also sensitive to my condition and was able to adjust our workouts to match my capabilities depending on how sore I felt and kept me moving and progressing. I am very confident in the PT services that Athletico provides and will continue to choose Athletico in Westport as my place for physical therapy.

PT is extremely challenging (as it should be). It would be so easy to hate going. But I don't because I go to Athletico Westport. Banaka and the rest of the staff I've worked with truly love what they do, which makes the whole environment positive and uplifting. The therapists here truly get to know you as an individual and quickly pick up on what coaching style works for you. This is incredibly important because I feel like I can completely be myself and focus all of my energy on the exercises, while knowing that I'll get the support, challenge, and good humor that I personally need to keep pushing. I've made incredible improvements that have essentially given me my life back. I cannot be more thankful.

My experience here has been amazing! I came in with lower back pain that I have had on and off for several years, that had been recently aggravated. In a matter of a few sessions, my pain improved immensely. At the end, it was like I never had any problems to begin with. I appreciate how I was sent home with very clear “homework” to keep improving over the course of the week between sessions (also made available to look up online!) and how my progress was monitored over the treatment to keep customizing the treatment plan. Everyone was so professional, yet also personable and kind. The environment is very positive and supportive. In short, I can’t recommend Athletico enough.

I went to Athletico over several months for a serious ankle injury/post-surgery rehab. Saw many of the therapists there with Banaka then Lydia being my amazing primary therapists, but they are all awesome. All the PT Aides are amazing. Drew at the front desk is amazing. All the PT staff I saw were amazing. I regained strength and mobility and they tailored my rehab to my lifestyle and goals, including my goal of returning to competitive sports. I'm still a work in progress because of the type of injury I suffered but they left me with less pain, swelling and a manageable and appropriate home care plan. Thanks to everyone there for putting up with high energy 7 am work outs!

This was my first experience with PT, and Athletico made it very easy and simple. Clare Wasmuth was my physical therapist at the Westport location, and she made my PT journey enjoyable and pain-free. She was always highly considerate, patient, and gave good feedback during PT. You can tell she knows exactly what she is doing, and she does it with confidence. She helped me set treatment goals and have realistic expectations on PT outcomes. She was always chipper and made sure all my questions were answered. Even after I finished PT, she said that they would still be available for questions or additional stretches/exercises. If you need PT, I highly recommend Clare!

I had an absolutely great experience with the Westport, Athletico team. I had a complete hip replacement and from day one Banaka and the Westport staff made me feel welcomed and confident that they would get back up and moving and on track for a full recovery...... And they did! Kim did a great job of scheduling and communicating my appointments each week and Ms. Clare was just the absolute best. She laid out a great rehab plan and held me accountable to do my part. in 6 short weeks my pain is gone an I am back in action with my regular workout routine and work schedule. What a team! For the first time in almost 3 years I am able to be physically active with minimal shoulder/neck pain. Athletico, specifically Banaka, Clair and the Westport team have been instrumental in providing me with a multi- model therapeutic plan of care. Love this place and it's motivational energy. Working with my physical therapist Banaka has been a great experience thus far. Banaka, along with her team, Claire and Grace have continued to push and reassure me that I can continue to go harder and get better. I must also mention how accommodating this facility is. No other facility that i contacted was able to provide transportation to and from my home. I'm currently taking pain meds and therefore cant drive to the facility and I have no one to assist me in getting there. This was no problem for them. Best PT facility that I attended. I highly recommend .

I came here for symptoms of carpal tunnel and I started working with Greg. He is so knowledgeable about what was hurting and how to approach my pain. He has given me really great exercises and strengthening techniques and I've already been seeing some improvement. A friend recommended him for her tennis elbow and I'm going to take my husband who has trigger finger. We're all classical musicians - he understands our career paths and has given us the ability to keep our careers. The rest of the staff is also amazing and so so nice. They're a great team and I would recommend anyone to this group!

Banaka and the entire Westport Athletico team were very welcoming and friendly. I went to Banaka post c-section for Pelvic Floor PT, not really understanding what all that entailed or if I really even needed it. She was very detail oriented and explained everything. We went through a series of tests and determined there was definitely some things that could use work. I met with her twice a week and I am very happy with the results. I’m definitely much stronger than when I went in and know what I need to continue to do to progress healing and strengthening my pelvic floor.

I usually don't write reviews but I have to share what an amazing PT experience I had with Athletico. I had knee surgery and the Orthopedic surgeon ordered 6 weeks of PT. From the moment I walked thru the door everyone was so friendly and professional. Lyida was assigned to my therapy rehab and she was fantastic. She listen to my concerns and delevoped an exercise plan to get me back to normal activities. I worked with Lydia 3 times a week to gain mobility and strength back in my leg and knee. I highly recommend Athletico in Westport!

I had a wonderful experience recovering from an ACL injury at this location! Everybody there is so nice and helpful. It was one of the worst times being constrained to crutches and a brace, but within a month of my surgery I was already starting to feel like a brand new person thanks to my PT, Claire. Honestly I wish that I was still going even though I'm now 5 months post surgery and doing even better than I was before. This place holds a special place in my heart. Definitely recommend if you're needing some physical therapy.

Thank you Banaka, Claire, Lydia and all the staff at Athletico Westport. I have benefited greatly from their care, attention and kind persistence during treatment sessions. Therapy is hard! But being with professionals who are never condescending and always encouraging makes the challenges easier to climb. Athletico Westport is a service I would highly recommend for prehab before surgery, rehab after surgery or recovery from an injury. Keep up the good work! It has been an absolute pleasure getting therapy here! Everyone is so friendly and helpful the customer service is amazing! Dr. Okwuone is AWESOME!!! She has given me so much insight and knowledge about how I can improve and is wonderful to talk with. She makes the experience so personalized! I started physical therapy with Lydia at Athletico in February after being in a car wreck late last year. I have been to physical therapy a few times in my life and have never left a review, but Athletico really deserves the the 5 stars! The employees are very nice and empathetic. The PT’s really listen and specifically tailor their treatments based on each individual. I always leave feeling better than when I came in! I definitely have and will continue to recommend this place.

Athletico is a great friendly place. I came with high anxiety and an inside feeling that it was going to be a waste of time. Banaka is my attending therapist but they all work together. She has been very helpful with building my self esteem towards my situation. I’m still currently going and feeling more confident each day. A very professional and efficient outfit!! Clare, who was my PT, was very knowledgeable, answered numerous questions (with total patience), was creative in applying my PT exercises (I was never bored!), efficient and an overall nice person to work with! Kim, who handled the paperwork was again, efficient, professional and skilled at her job. Overall, I highly recommend Athletico (KC, Westport) - and should I ever need PT again, I would not hesitate to use them again!!

Needing physical therapy is never an ideal situation, but Athletico (and Clare, in particular) have made my PT experience productive and positive. I'm very happy with my progress so far. They do a great job educating me about what the exercises are doing, and continue to challenge my body to get stronger. Outside of doing their jobs very well, you can tell the staff enjoy what they do and enjoy working together, and that makes the vibe a great place to recover.

I've spent 26 years going to so many physical therapists for a chronic condition. Dr. Banaka is without a doubt the most knowledgeable and effective therapist I've ever had the privilege to work with. She's incredibly intuitive and attentive, a lovely human being, and super fun to be around. In fact, the whole team at Athletico Westport makes me feel like a genuine friend - an amazing group of folks I'm lucky to spend a couple days a week with.

I worked with several physical therapists during my time here and had great experiences with all of them. They helped coordinate exercises and stretches I could do outside of PT to make it a cohesive experience with my life outside of appointments. The availability they have outside of typical work hours was a life saver! Not having to miss work and still be able to make appointments was so important to picking a location.

I’ve been going to Athletico for months now, Banaka and her staff are fantastic. Everyone is super friendly and personable. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. They also do a great job of keeping everything sanitized after each patient use (bikes,elliptical, tables etc.). So happy that I started here, a few months of dry needling with therapy and my back is finally starting to feel better! So thankful.

I received excellent care at Athletico . The staff are personable, upbeat and truly care about your progress. The facility is clean and constantly sanitized after each use. My doctor referred me Banaka and I am so glad I did. She has a passion for what she does and it shows. I got get results. Banaka and her team are fantastic. I’ve worked with all the therapists in her group and each has been top notch. They have customized my sessions to fit my end goals and progress has come much faster with them than with the therapist from my previous surgery. Athletico in Westport is the best physical therapy clinic I've ever attended. The therapists are knowledgeable and professional. My therapist, Lydia, met these qualities as well as being very personable! I was in a lot of pain when I began my therapy. When it was complete, the threat of a spine operation was off the table. This would be a location I would recommend to anyone needing the service.

Everyone that works here are such beautiful people. Clair helped me to get my knee back in shape. She is tough on you & makes you push yourself to be better. I had such a great experience at this facility. Clare, my therapist, executes her plan of care so thorough and answers all the questions I have. Madelyn and Grace, some of the rehab aides, were very patient and helped me with any questions I had and always making sure I was comfortable. I noticed Banaka, the clinic’s manager, is a great leader for this team at the Westport clinic.

I wasn't sure what to expect going into my first experience in physical therapy, but the staff and therapists at Athletico were awesome. Watching the different patients in the facility, it was very evident that they knew each person individually and had plans specific to them. Great experience and I'd most definitely recommend them to anyone with physical ailments.

I had Greg for my recovery and he was so funny and nice! I highly recommend coming here the AIDS are the sweetest and everyone overall is friendly and polite. The place is very clean, the Aids stay on top of making sure everything is clean, everyone is helped, and that everything is put up correctly. Ive been in therapy at Athletico for the last month. I can say that the environment is friendly and welcoming and I feel productive every time I leave. Greg has been great in explaining where i stand and what to look forward to and i see the same attention and care for every other person around me. I’ve been to a few physical therapists and I’ve never had one as good as Banaka. She’s personable and attentive. She truly wants to help you through your recover process. I came in after surgery, barely being able to walk, and now I can jump rope and run. Everyone at Athletico Westport was nice and easy to work with. It was sad for me to leave!

Banaka is absolutely incredible! She is so supportive and has consistently been a positive influence on my goal to live a pain free life! I have had so much improvement in my chronic pain on a daily basis, and I look forward to going to my appointments and seeing all the wonderful, friendly staff!! I would highly recommend!!!!

Banaka was amazing. She was informative, teaching me about my injury and helping me recover. She offered a personal touch that I have not experienced at any other physical therapy provider. I will miss her and Sophie and even some of the other patients I got to know. This place was like a family for several months for me.

I am very happy with my results from working with Banaka. I've had constant ankle issues for several years and they have gotten progressively worse. After twice weekly sessions for a month and half, I am pain free! I have even been able to resume my normal work out schedule without pain and swelling! I would recommend!

Amazing professional staff all the way around. Always helpful with working with schedules, and rescheduling on short notice. Athletico(Westport) is always always extremely clean. Been in rehab with Lydia and her staff since late April, and they have been so helpful with getting me back to my day to day activities!

I loved coming here!! All of the staff was so sweet and made me feel so welcomed. All the exercises and stretches were explained well and I didn’t feel silly for not not knowing something. The staff is SO knowledgeable and care about you (honestly no BS). I would recommend anyone who is needing PT to come here!!

I went here for herniated discs in neck, and shoulder/nerve issues. I received great care. Clare was very attentive and customized a good therapy plan for me. Definitely recommend to anyone suffering with neck issues that wants to find alternatives to surgery. I will definitely go back to them in the future.

Athletico Westport is an awesome team of professionals from Drew, the office manager, who helped to accommodate my schedule, to physical therapists, Banaka, Lydia and Elizabeth, who are well educated and personable. Unlike a lot of health care professionals, they all truly seem to care about your recovery.

I have been rehabbing my second knee surgery at Athletico Westport. I have been impressed not only with the quality of the therapy but the care Banaka and her team take to accommodate my work and travel schedule and keep pushing me through the recovery process. Banaka is the absolute best Physical Therapist in the KC area! She pushes me and is always asking if I’m okay! I like coming for therapy at this location. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is immaculate and the equipment is top notch. Even though I’ll be glad when my hand is healed I will miss my early morning routine and working with Banaka and the rest of the staff at Athletico.
