Everything was good here until I went to vacate and turn in my unit. I finished cleaning out my unit about 8:30 PM on a Monday evening. Swept it out, removed the lock, and all set for turn in. I went back Tuesday about 5:00 PM to turn the unit in. They started the process, disabled my gate access, then asked me, "Did you cut the lock off of your unit?" Huh, what? No, I did not. Why? Because there is a large gash under the lock slide thing. Huh? I told them that there was nothing wrong with the door except that the slide didn't work well and I had to put my foot down on the handle (which was then at floor level with the door down) and step on it to get the slide to line up and close. They said that they found the unit door with a big slash in it like someone tried to cut off the lock and slipped cutting the door when they did a walk through that morning. And they mentioned that there were no cuts on the lock assembly itself which was strange. They showed me a picture which they said showed the slash in the door. Huh? The photo looked odd to me and they wouldn't let me look at it for long. Nor would they give me a copy of it or show it to me again. There were 3 women in the office. Training perhaps? They acted as if I was lying and they did not take me out to the unit #934 that I was turning in...Which is what I've done with all other units I've rented in Atlanta and elsewhere over the years. I have three witnesses with me when I finished with the unit and all three of them told me that they didn't notice wrong with the door when I asked them. I didn't take a photo of the door...As why would I? Their photo did not show the unit number...So it could have been ANY of the units current or past. The photo looked funny and I have to question why an iPhone Max would take such a poor photo. None of this makes any sense. I showed them the lock from my trunk which I took off the unit the previous night. It was still in my trunk. I showed them the key and showed that it opened that lock. The high security lock that they sold me when I rented the unit. They then said that they are sending it to corporate and corporate will review the CCTV videos. Fine with me I told them. Have corporate contact me with the results as I was very curious as to what was going on. So now a day later I'm wondering if this was a scam cooked up by the staff at this place? Did they have another door on another unit that was damaged and they were trying to set me up to pay for someone else's damage? I'm putting this review in to get the owner to contact me about this. What really happened? What does the CCTV video show? Was unit #934's door really damaged? Why didn't they take me to the unit as is standard practice? Why wouldn't they give me a copy of the photo? Why didn't the photo show the unit number? Did someone really sneak in there Monday night and slash the unit's door under the slide lock when there was no lock on the unit? None of this makes sense... I'd like the owner to response here and to contact me on my listed cell phone to get this resolved. I don't like to be falsely accused. And I want to clear this up. I would like to see #934's door in person as soon as possible. - C. Grant

I had a wonderful experience at Atlantic Self Storage on Philips Highway! Shay was incredibly helpful. She rented my fiancé and I a storage unit, and was able to answer the multitude of questions that I had. Shay gave us a deal that can't be beat; if you don't believe me, call around! The facility is really clean and has climate control! It works perfectly for us because we are getting married in less than a month and we don't want any heat/humidity damage. The whole process took about twenty minutes and then we were all set up! 10/10 recommend coming to Atlantic Self Storage! <3

Can I give it 20 + stars ? I am needing to get a unit in a few months and this is my first time looking into something like this. Shay really educated me on what she thinks what I would need. I have to say customer service comes naturally to Shay, her smile, personally, I feel like that she was being honest with me. The atmosphere was relaxing, inviting and there was no rush. I work for a relocation company. I visited this facility 3/27/13 and I just had to leave a review of what I saw. This storage facility is very neat, clean and well kept. The Husband and Wife team that manages the facility are the best of the best. Genuinely nice and caring people. I saw that there are hundreds of storage facilities in the area.. I strongly urge anyone reading this to use these guys. I do not believe that you will regret it.

Shay the manager here is second to none ove used quote a few different storage facilities over the years but she was kind and friendly and I swear she works so hard she needs a raise every time I'm there she is doing something and asking everyone if they need anything very happy with my decision to use this location simply because of her keep up the great work!

I needed a large storage unit on extremely short notice - like right NOW. Shay at Atlantic Storage took care of us with no hassles. We were shown a few different options to choose from, which was very helpful. Most other storage rentals I've had seemed somewhat shady. Not this place. Very clean, very professional. You won't regret doing business with them.

This is probably the best storage facility I've used to date, and I've used a lot, all over Florida and Michigan. The rates are a little bit higher than some but a few extra pennies is a small price to pay for the convenience of access, conditions of storage space, and a secure facility. Shea helped my with my outside Storage parking spot and she was awesome and was very helpful when I rented a space for my van. She made me feel very comfortable leaving my van for an extended period.I was especially pleased when she took care of an issue with my van lights by calling my contact person. Thank you Shea!
