Drove an hour and specifically brought my kids to test drive and see the fit of my carseats with all of the kids loaded in the truck... I wanted to drive off the lot the same day... the 4x4 limited tundra crewmax magnetic grey metallic with the sunroof with about 104000 miles on it with the dent in the driver side rear bumper around $25000.. Could not even test drive the vehicle I wanted but I was showed a more expensive trd pro crewmax slate grey with no sunroof $38000 that was missing the primary features that I wanted (exterior color and sunroof) in their reply when I contacted them is a text from them: "Thanks for texting about this vehicle at Austin Texas Cars and Trucks! We received your message; a representative should respond shortly. Send STOP to opt out." "Austin Texas Cars and Trucks will be reaching out to you as soon as possible. Is there anything else I can help you with in the meantime?" I drove there, car full of kids and got the runaround.. Then after they do you wrong they'll ask you to delete your message because you're crazy and were "helped by another company"... so one star instead of two Dont go here... it says Texas cars and trucks on the outside of the building but by the response below it's not the actual name of the company that helps you... And since I dont know who the heck I was dealing with one of the employees told me that they have a different finance division that deals with the truck I wanted and I would have to go next door and I wouldn't want to buy from there because they "Jack up" the interest rates on their vehicles with their "in house financing".. that's why he tried to sell me the more expensive truck.. y'all need to get on the same page or sell from DIFFERENT NAMED CARLOTS.. Their new response is this silly message below attached to my review.. I know my name is on here so dont put my name in your message like I have a hit out on me.. I'm not scared of you or your goons Austin Texas cars and trucks!!

BUYER BEWARE If you value honesty and integrity do not look here. I don't normally write reviews, but I hope I can help someone else save their time and hard earn money. It was a mistake going here from internet search. My salesperson was nice but wasn't very interested in cars sales seemingly that day. I actually thought he was a customer, test drove the car Red Challenger RT . I asked was the car serviced etc. Cause personal items where inside after test drive and was told the oil was changed I think? I have TEIR 1 credit so im approved anywhere ..the next day another person called about my experience which I shared he was somewhat fluid seemingly in making these calls and wish he was there and it wouldn't have happened! ( I want to make it right) and apologized and would definitely get the car looked over the nextday When asked about service history he said he would reach out to the former owner ?? Seriously ? He committed to call me with update of car the next day.i called him at the end of day after I never heard from anyone . I decided to purchase another car based on gut feelings from the declining experience and gave him a coutesy call .. he said well somebody buying the car tomorrow we both win. Wow..so much for your word . This is someone who said he wanted to make things right ? He made things worse actually. I plan to follow up with BBB and Third Coast Group (subsidiary) I was focused on the car not thinking places like this still exist . Really glad I didn't purchase , fingers crossed for others . Get the service and honesty your hard earn money and time deserves. This is why used car dealers get a bad name.

Bought a vehicle here around a month ago, the sales process was relatively painless however my salesperson Brantley accidentally submitted my loan information to the wrong bank. He also told me the car was inspected before I bought it. I had a leaky tire shortly after purchasing so I took it to discount tire and they measured both of the rear tires at 1/32”, which doesn’t meet the DPS safety standard and I was stuck with a $1500 tire bill. I reached out to Brantley and the manager, Ken, multiple times without a response. Brantley eventually got back to me and apologized for the inconvenience but there still wasn’t a solution for the expense and when I asked when I’ll get my metal plates he said I can’t because the vehicle didn’t have an inspection on file

Horrible car dealership, don't waste your time. I called to inquire about a vehicle and the salesman was very rude when I discussed price. Then he mentioned that "they can't go any lower because of all the work they put into it" and that it had a new engine in it. All I asked for was some documentation showing what was done, where it was done, when it was done, etc. The salesman told me that they cannot provide this documentation. They're hiding something for sure. Don't waste your time here. UPDATE: Don’t believe the dealers response to my review! I asked them to email me documentation and never got an email, phone follow up, or anything! They knew I won’t buy the vehicle without it so they decided not to waste their time.

My wife and I asked Derrick what issues does the vehicle we purchased have so we are not hit with any surprises. I asked if the motor mounts were bad, is the transmission in bad shape? Derrick looked me and my wife in the eyes and told us "No, the car is fine". Well SUPRISE!!!, the car needed a new motor cooler, timing chain, guide rails, and tensioner. DPF pressure sensor, vacum pump, camshaft hall sensor, and motor mounts. These repairs cost me 12 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!. This was our first time purchasing a used car and it is by far the WORST car shopping experience EVER!

DONT BUY FROM KEN!! They sold me a 2013 tacoma with 103k miles for 23k, about a week of ownership I noticed a slight tapping under acceleration. Thinking it might just need a valve adjustment, I took it to be inspected at a Toyota dealer ship. As they reported, the motor was ran on low oil and damaged the camshaft bearings. Also they found a knock coming from the crank. After letting Ken know he proceeded to tell me they don't know what they are talking about and to "take it to my guy". Now he is ignoring all my messages. JUST ANOTHER SLIMY CAR SALESMAN.

Derek the sales guy was the main reason I will NOT return here and recommend not coming here. Wanted to buy a car and the first thing he said is that I needed a co-signer b/c I only had my job for one month & I wouldn't be able to buy a car. He didn't bother running my credit. As Julia Roberts said - "HUGE MISTAKE-BIG MISTAKE". Bought my car elsewhere. Oh yah the percentage rate he gave me was 16.9%! OUTRAGEOUS! Beware out to get the best of you for their benefit!

Saw they advertised a truck I was looking for. I called twice to inquire about truck. I called once before they opened and once after they opened. Was told to come on in a get truck. After driving over 50 miles to get there, was told truck sold day before. Place is fly by night would not go there again no matter how good the deal would nor recommend them to anyone.

What started out as a very unpleasant, unprofessional and discriminatory experience, turned out to work in our favor at the end. The Sales Manager's professionalism and behavior was appauling. This is not the profession for you. Work with Ken, the General Manager, he's nice, professional and gets the job done.

10/10 Recommend. We got a BEAUTIFUL vehicle from this location. What the picture showed is what I got!! I worked with Cesar and Brantley* (sorry if I misspelled). They were an amazing team and was very accommodating. I will recommend my friends and family here! :))
