Completely illogical that a business providing a service to the public has such restricted hours. Considering the general public works between 9-5, there is no consideration for services needed outside typical working hours. Generally speaking, payment is given for the service of getting parcels delivered to your nominated address. In the event that no one is home (surprise surprise because someone is at work) parameters needs to be in place to allow adequate service needs to be fulfilled. To take working time off, hence potentially losing income to be present for a service you have paid for is simply ridiculous. I have seen some comments relating to the owner stating that it is not profitable to operate outside working hours, i.e Saturdays and or Thursday nights. Assuming this is the case, I’d advise that the business model is obviously flawed and your customers would be better off going to the Port Noarlunga Office, where they can be catered too correctly.

Stay away if you want anything more complicated than a book of stamps. I was "ordered" to leave after pointing out to the women behind the counter (by her statement a "trained" passport processor) that she had given me the wrong form to fill out for a child's passport. She then spoke to the passport office, who CONFIRMED that she had given me the wrong form.. and gave me yet ANOTHER (but different) wrong form to complete. I have since confirmed with passport information that NEITHER additional form was necessary and if I had followed her instructions, my son's passport could have been delayed by over a month. In contrast Port Noarlunga Post office has always been brilliant. Will not be back to Seaford unless there's a change of staff.

Very inconvenient that they're not open on Saturdays anymore. They were previously open for 2 hours between 10 and 12. When I asked the owner for an explanation, he said he "couldn't afford it" and that "the government should pay them to be open". My response is: You bought the franchise so it's YOUR responsibility to be open. Perhaps you could work the 2 hours on Saturday yourself? As it stands, I have to take time off work to pick up packages that I couldn't receive, because I'm at work! If you won't open on Saturdays, sell the franchise to someone who will. Not happy.

Doesn't deserve one star. GO ELSEWHERE! Port Noarlunga, McLaren Vale, Colonnades, Christies Beach..anywhere! The man is terribly rude, should not work there, tells off your children (any excuse to do it, he froths at the bit to say something even if they're not doing anything). Really wish when my parcels get taken to a PO I could choose a different one. I will collect parcels if I must, but am not handing them one cent to buy stamps etc for my business. Buy elsewhere, don't support this prick

Seaford should have a real post office and not an agency - this post office agency is always continually clogged with old people paying bills, passport applications, people buying the tawdry tack that is crammed into all the available space that makes queueing a chore, and they never seem to have enough staff for the amount of customers in the queue. I have to go there to get my parcels that auspost wont deliver properly and its a PITA every time.

I originally gave this three stars five years ago!as it was a middling experience. Since then, Saturday opening has stopped, which is utterly inconvenient for full time workers who can only pick up packages at the weekend. Not all retailers will accept a PO Box or parcel locker as delivery address, but here’s a tip - redirect it in the AusPost app/web site after it has been dispatched. I do often redirect Noarlunga parcel locker for pick up.

Either Untrained, or unprofessional and frankly don't care. Needed to send Legal document overseas and to be told due to Covid, this was not allowed. Frankly this is not true at all. Made me waste an hour calling Auspost call centre, while i was in the post office, and the agent said to me "Why are you calling this number where the Auspost employee should be call us" My bank recently sent a letter overseas to my son and Zero issue at all

Consistently terrible customer interactions (I'm not going to lie and call it service)... There is a common theme in all of the bad reviews below, and mine is no different. The bloke needs to learn that he is a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE that means actually doing his job, if Australia Post pulled their post office status it would not be even remotely disappointing. (Can't give zero stars unfortunately)

My Australia post preferences state that I want undelivered packages forwarded to Port Noarlunga but they keep going to Seaford. I work 8:30-5:30, how can I pick this package up when they are only open 9-5? Then Australia post want to charge me to redirect it to my preferred location!!!!!! It’s clearly their delivery mistake and then they tell me to pay for it.

Shithouse. The worst post office in Australia hands down. How does 2 express post packages worth $850 go missing as soon as they're handed over the counter? Puff into thin air!! What do you do? Super helpful friendly customer service. I lodged my passport renewal here after having issues with another Australia Post and the staff were very patient and willing to assist. They even re did my passport photo as they thought the previous one might not pass. I will use this post office regularly now. Thankyou

I go in there fortnightly to do money orders for someone who is in prison and the amout of judgement (i get it to a point) and lack of customer service is ridiculous, there's a old man who i think is the owner who is just rude and shouldn't work with people, also no one knows what there doing

The male staff member was so rude. Was quoted one price by another staff member and then he comes up over and starts yelling no it’s more expensive and it’s not cheap and took it out of my hands. He was so rude to me. Couldn’t believe his behavior. Must own it or he would surely be fired.

The ladies that work there are lovely and polite but the man not so polite, extremely rude and unhelpful with terrible customer service, my experiences with him were horrible, to the point where I walked out and drove all the way to Aldinga for a much more pleasant experience.

Never had an issue with the staff or the service here. They have all been helpful and polite whenever we've gone in, including the gentleman that works there. Yes, there are a lot of negative reviews here but it's not all bad, maybe we just got them on a good day!!

Just processed a passport application & the lady behind the counter couldn't have been any more helpful. I was the only person in the shop & I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Maybe previous reviewers caught the staff at a really busy time.

Seaford should employ staff that enjoy customer service and not sigh and roll their eyes when asked a simple Question which he still couldn't explain properly, if you don't have people skills don't work in customer service …

Recently moved to the area and went to the post office for the first time. Awfully rude gentleman. He not only made a rude racist and generalized remark but made me feel like he was doing me a favour by processing my transaction.

What kind of post office doesn't open on a Saturday for people who work business hours to collect parcels. Not everyone can show up 9 to 5 Monday to Friday, even being open slightly later on Thursday evening would help.

Worst post office in australia. Constantly is closed making full time workers loose work to get mail. Parcel delivery orders with leave unattended never gets followed. Not to mention the rude staff.

Not open Saturdays which is incredibly inconvenient considering people are working or busy during the week and need to do business or pick up packages on a Saturday. Stupid idea to close.

Just moved into the area, ridiculous as someone that works a 8 til 6 on weekdays to not be able to pick it up on a Thursday night due to no extended hrs, or a Sat (even if it’s 9-12)
