Hello ; I have been a customer of auto tech for over 10 years. This week my VW transporter required major work , service , power steering pump , pink slip which was long over due . Anyone who has a VW know that things can be difficult and expensive . I was provided a list and written quote and photographs before they started any work which is appreciated. I asked another mechanic for a quote which came out to be more expensive then auto tech and longer time frame to rectify the issues . I contacted auto tech to carry out the repairs which they completed quickly at a great price. Over the years I have tried budget mechanics and coupon deals but I note you get what you pay for these days , so I always end up back at auto tech . I collected my car in a few day, the first thing I noticed is drives like new .( it’s stopped making noises and the oil leak is fixed). Auto tech also did fantastic work getting my BMW on the road . I appreciate how transparent they are with competitive pricing ,Darren has clear communication which I understand. I have brought my last two VW’s here since 2018. My 1997 Polo (#RIP, lol) and now my 2013 Jetta TSI. The team is always straight forward and honest about what needs doing. Have never felt like they try to add on unnecessary things like I have felt with other garages. Great with phone and email communication for appointments or quotes before the service, so you can budget/plan ahead & flexible drop off and pick up for convenience if your schedule mismatches their opening hours. Just had a minor service and going back in a couple weeks for tyres + alignment. Great central location so you can use public transport when you drop off your car. Walking distance to Town Hall station as they’re down in World Square P6. 10/10 service. Definitely give them a call for your next service & you may just stick with them!

Have used AutoTech a couple of times now and from the very start their communication and service has been great. After dropping the car off, within a very short time you receive an email detailing what services/repairs are required (with pictures) and quotes. So you can then confirm exactly what you do (or don't) want done. Email confirmation of your instructions is then received back. The next email received is then the one confirming your car is ready with a copy of invoice is attached. This makes it so simple as you can pay the invoice before you even go to collect the car, making it so quick and easy at collection. All in all a great customer service experience and would happily recommend anyone in the city to use them!

I’ve had an incredibly positive experience with Darren, who has provided me with impeccable service at a reasonable cost and in a very timely manner. I sent my car in on separate occasions for both a pink slip, a blue slip and for multiple repairs (including changing of tires, diagnosing and fixing an electrical problem related to the airbags, brakes, and more). On both occasions Darren was extremely helpful in giving me accurate quotes of costs and in answering my questions. He was readily reachable via phone or email. He was very accommodating of other requests (such as when I could pick my car up) - a perfect service for a young busy professional, and I would recommend this service with confidence!

Very impressed with Autotech. Having been to a few of Sydney's "dodgier" mechanics, Autotech was such a refreshing experience. My car was due for a pink slip, but also nearly due a service. I was sent a detailed quote for all the work required (with or without service), with all the cost options broken down for me. After an honest and straight forward phone call, I decided to get the full works done. Peace of mind and quality service are worth paying a bit extra for, and whilst Autotech wasn't cheap, the work done was to the highest standard and I felt I got what I paid for. They have certainly won all of my business moving forwards, and I'll recommend to friends.

I asked them for a quote to a repair, showed them photos of the damage and they said they couldn’t tell how much it was until they put my car on the lift. They told me they would get the car back to me in an hour, it ended up taking 3 hours. I called to check and confirmed again that I just wanted them to look at the damage and get back to me with a price. When I returned they told me they repaired it and cost $165(1 hr) in labour + $25 in sundries. When I looked at the repair they did, it was a zip tie job on a fairly unsubstantial underbody mud guard. Seriously? $190 all up to zip tie the mudguard. Not happy with these guys and their exorbitant labour rate.

I received an sms from AutoTech stating that my car service was completed and that the brakes needed changing. As it was late on a Friday afternoon i picked up the car and took it to another mechanic on the weekend. The other mechanic checked the car and showed me that the brakes were only 50% worn. Wasting my time over the weekend. Why would i come back to get AutoTech to check the brakes when i could see with another mechanic that the brakes didn't need changing and the report from AutoTech was dishonest from the start. Do you think people have time to waste running around? Dishonest Mechanics!

Needed a Blue Slip done moving up from Victoria. Older car but had recently passed stringent RWC a few months prior. Went to two mechanics previously both quoting in excess of $600 to get up to scratch for things I knew were not required. AutoTech were prompt and had my Blue slip done in no time after replacing the necessary brake lights that had blown. Fantastic to deal with and location is amazing, highly recommend!

Very helpful AND friendly service. From Darren at the front desk to Douglas who did the servicing on my 2002 Rav4 as well as Simon working away on another car these guys are easy to talk to and give easy to understand advice. Their pricing is great without the "Oh ya gotta have this or that" bs extras. What's needed is done and what should be is advised to be. No nasty added surprises. I highly recommend these guys.

I had to come in for a last minute inspection required for my car which was quite stressful. However Simon was super informative and helpful, from sending me directions to find their workshop (it's like a maze!) and all the way through to providing an honest final assessment of my vehicle's condition without any pushiness or hard sell on anything at all. AutoTech World Square recently serviced my car after I moved to the city. When booking the service, AutoTech was professional and very helpful in making sure I could easily locate them. I took my motorcycle there for a pink slip inspection. Darren was as kind on the phone as he was in person. They performed the check quick and easy. I live in the city, so it was very close and convenient. It is in the World Square car park, but they provide a parking ticket to get out, so you don't pay extra. Highly recommended. Just done my Honda Civic service and full check for a road trip. Darren suggested me few repair. And then i agree to have the Engine Belt and Brake fluid replacement. At first feel a bit weird because of the break in period for new belt. After drive it a while, now it just feels amazing (now we can feel the full K20 power again) Thank you Autotech Team for the perfect job.

This place is exactly what you are looking for when it comes to car service/ fixing / maintainance. I got my Cla200 in and expect to change the brake pad as well as the tranmission. However, Darren recommended that the brake pad still has 80% and tranmission doing very well. He did a very careful check and fix all the issues. 5 stars for reliable and top service.

Dropped of the car at 11am for a pink slip, was told I would get a call back when it was done, I missed one of their calls at 4:50 pm tried calling back a few minutes later realized they were closed. I had checked online and my pink slip was not even done, so my car is stuck with them now with nothing being done and no communication. What a waste of time.

I got a standard service and eSafety check carried our recently at AutoTech WorldSquare. I found them convenient and straightforward. They recommended a few extra jobs but were not pushy to get me to agree to the extra work. Overall I was happy with the service and I will go back again.

Good service although be prepared to get a little ripped off and pay higher prices if desperate for a pink slip. They will charge you $40 for a windscreen wiper replacement thinking you don't know anything, but sometimes in life you just gotta take it up the bum.

I have had a great experience with auto tech. They tell you at the end of service on the things that needs to be fixed. My Rejo was due and they gave me the pink slip as well without even me asking. I really appreciate the work they do.
