On the 26th of July at 3.30pm I decided to take my car to Maroubra Auto care for a Pink slip, I spoke to a gentleman called Ben and explained to him my situation that I was in so told me to wait for a minute to see what he could do for me, He came back and said to me no problem. I will get someone to check out your car for you and within Half an hour later I was able to get my Pink slip and go on way to pay for my Registration. So from the bottom of my Heart ❤️ I would like to thank Ben and his team for going out of their way for helping me out and bye the way I will always take my car to be serviced at Maroubra Auto Care Thank you guys.

They should change their name to Auto DON'T care. I just needed Rego and the receptionist said there were two before me and it would be ready by 1pm. I went back at 2pm and they hadn't even looked at it. They said they would get straight onto it. Finally by 4pm it was done. I told them if they needed all day that is fine. Just don't tell me I'm 3rd in line and it would be done by 1pm when clearly they can't deliver. The attitude was so awful. I was ignored and only got an apology when I complained. Even then it was pretty clear that they couldn't care less!

My car just needed a pink slip for rego. I asked them to check the wheel alignment as it felt off. I was told it would be an hour. When I returned around 90 minutes later the car was on the hoist and I was told the mechanic was having a "morning tea break" (at 9.40) and would then finish the alignment. So it took closer to two hours. It was $149 for the alignment which was more than expected but the car feels better so it's fine. I would suggest if it's going to take longer than advised to let the customer know. Everyone's time is valuable.

My flat tyre needed replacing. I went to two other local tyre places and was told I had to make a booking for next week. I remembered this business and was pleasantly welcomed and I was told it would be looked at almost immediately. They ordered the tyre and had it replaced upon arrival. The staff were very friendly and professional. I was advised up front the cost and how long it would take. Great business to have locally.

UPDATE: this is my second time with Maroubra Auto Care and I have to add the word “exceptional” to my review. They’re communicative, fast, honest, friendly and professional. I’ve been coming here for 4 or so years and they are always amazing which is why once I started coming here I never left. Do the BEST job, friendly and accomodating. I can’t rate them highly enough! The best local autocare there is. Took my car in for a service and pinkslip in the morning and had my car back before lunch. They are thorough, their prices are fair and they look after your car so you know it's in good hands. I previously used their shop in Rosebery and was glad to learn the same team moved to the one in Maroubra. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Basic service just to change filters. $1100.00 and told I required a heap of additional work on car. Went to another mechanic who advised car is fine I have been ripped off and they left a seal loose which resulted in diesel leaking from my engine. Spoke to some other locals who have all had similar experiences. DO NOT GO NEAR THESE THIEVES.

Had a second opinion on my car & told Ben about an unusual noise coming from my car, he fixed for free & then quoted me for what I needed doing. I haven't been here before & I can say they were quick to respond to my request, friendly & efficient, This will now be my mechanic moving forward. Thanks guys. 10 stars …

I’ve used Maroubra AutoCare for over 10years and they have always been upfront and honest. My car is serviced regularly and I appreciate the extra effort for customer satisfaction. Heading on a trip soon and asked if they could put bike rack on my car and it was no problem (thanks Ben).

I visited the shop on Saturday morning for pink slip inspection. It was done in an hour. The technicians found my tires were too old and need replacement. They gave me a good quote and done it in another 2 hours. Very good and quick service. Will visit the shop in the future.

Our Mini had coolant leaking so I took it in. Ben and the team kept it for a couple of hours for investigation then let me know the issue and possible different costs for the repair, then they fixed it. Was very happy with the job and felt it wall all honest work and costs.

Ben and the team have been incredibly professional all the way, communicative and always aiming for the best solution befitting to timing safety and affordability. I entrust them with all our family cars and scooter. Recommend highly!! Happy customer!!

Went in unannounced to explain my newly purchased used vehicle had a non functioning air conditioning. It was obviously not an easy fix as the previous owner did their best.
