Richard the dealer conveniently failed to explicitly mention that the boot release did not open either by the button in the car or the remote. When I confronted him after the sale (after I took the car home), he denied that he was dishonest (withholding this important fact) but said, 'You saw me open the boot with the key' - implying I should have known it was broken by his method of opening it. Go to a different used car dealer.

Due to me being a fussy buyer, I had been looking for a high quality Subaru Outback for at least 6 months, until I saw one listed with Autotraders 4 U, Mona Vale.
