The detailed, interactive web-based itinerary was invaluable throughout the trip. We wanted to build a bucket-list trip to the Arctic Circle to view the Northern Lights across Norway and Iceland. Our local travel agent utterly failed to in her attempt to help us plan this trip. We reached out to Avant-Garde after finding them on a web search and Aimee contacted us quickly. Within hours we knew we were in the right hands and well on our way to an unforgettable adventure. Aimee put together a first-rate itinerary of accommodations and activities. I'm super picky about travel -- suggestions she made along the way were excellent. Unfortunately, the very first leg of our outbound flight failed causing us to miss the infrequent connection to the Arctic Circle in Norway. When I contacted the emergency number Aimee and her assistant were already aware and working on alternatives. I fed her suggestions to the Delta gate agent who arranged to quickly rebook us on another carrier that would allow us to arrive in Norway - a bit worse for wear - within hours of our original schedule. Having a safety net like this to deal with the inevitable issues that accompany travel is priceless. When we begin to design our next adventure, we will absolutely put the details in the competent hands of Aimee Leon and Avant-Garde Travel.

My girlfriend and I hired Aimee / Avant-Garde to plan our Iceland trip and every detail was nailed and planned beyond my expectation! Aimee took the time prior to our trip to really understand our desires as a couple and our individual wish list. Once all information was gathered, the trip presented to us was exactly what we were seeking. The hotels were amazing, the locations were perfect, the logistics were perfectly timed to allow some leisure time as well, we were properly informed, we were supported while in Iceland, and they kept us constantly updated regarding Covid guidelines and / or changes that impacted how we traveled. In my line of work I'm a confident planner and I had never felt the need to hire a travel agency for my personal use, however we wanted a different type of experience and one that was a bit more guaranteed given the current pandemic environment and I'm beyond grateful that we used Avant-Garde as it provided details, knowledge, and adventures that I couldn't have done so on my own. I am so excited to share about a trip Avante-Guard Travel organized for me. Aimee Leon set up my trip to Jamaica to attend my daughter’s wedding. She took care of the whole thing with air fare. The destination was. Sandals. Now you would think that it would be easy just to sign up yourself. Not so according to my best friend who signed up by herself. She kept calling me asking all sorts of questions about vaccines, tests getting in and out of the country and other things I didn’t have the answer to. She wanted a place on the beach with a butler. I told Amy I wanted the cheapest room to just get us by. Amy told us she booked a nice place overlooking the pool. Well let me tell you we found out in all of our 16 party group we got the best room!! It was only two months old, second floor, bath on balcony with drapes, beautiful bedroom area with curved couch, lovely rain shower, sink and toilet area. We ended up being the room where the bride got ready! Amy had given me instructions for the whole trip. Oh, my best friend got a horrible room. Could only see the beach if you squeezed in the corner and crained your neck. It was way smaller than mine and never did see a butler. It really pays to go through this travel agency. First off, I hate to travel. The headaches involved just don't make it worth it. So when my wife said in September that she wanted to do Athens and Rome with our two teenages over the Christmas break, I thought she was nuts. I ended up calling around to several agencies, but none were really a good fit - we prefer to go at our own speed and I absolutely DESPISE group tours. I really just wanted it done our way. When I reached Amy, that all changed. She laid out so many options for us to choose from, set us up with private tour guides, stayed within our budget, and ultimately planned a trip for us that my family will never forget. Every part was thought through, the tour guides she set us up with seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs, and the trip was just amazing. Perhaps most surprising? Thank's to Aimee's hard work, my family actually had a chance to relax and just enjoy being together as a family. That kind of thing just doesn't happen with two teenagers. I'm already looking forward to our next trip.

Aimee and her team are amazing. Our trip was perfectly planned and executed. It had been delayed for two years due to Covid, but Aimee effortlessly refunded, rebooked and re-planed everything. We are able to navigate all of the flight cancellations, the pilots strike (SAS), and every other hurdle by Aimee having secured back up plans for us. I know that most people, myself included, think that you don't need to use a travel agent these days, and, for simple, straightforward flights, that is true. But for overseas travel, especially in these constantly disruptive days of travel, you do; and there is no travel agent that I could recommend more highly than Aimee and her team at Avant-Garde.

Our honeymoon trip to Greece & Italy was amazing-thanks to Aimee! Aimee met with us and emailed numerous times to hear our wants and, based on our input, revised our itinerary several times. All of her hotel selections were great, activity recommendations were fantastic, and coordinated transfers were seamless. She also stayed very engaged during our trip, including making us difficult-to-get reservations and finding us an alternative tour when our original tour was cancelled last minute. Highly recommended, and we look forward to using her for a future trip!

Aimee Leon was great from the time we started planning our vacation all the way through the time we returned home. Her follow up was consistent and thorough and she checked in with us during the vacation to make sure everything was going well. I contracted Covid-19 for the last two days of vacation and she was very helpful in navigating the process of quarantining at the resort as well as getting home. She will be our "go-to" travel agent for all future vacations!

I worked with Aimee for the first time this summer. She helped plan a family trip to Spain for me, my dad, and my aunt. She created a flexible itinerary for all of us to enjoy across 3 cities. We stayed at amazing hotels with great locations and local small group tours in each place. We left each city without feeling like there was something that we missed out on. I will definitley work with Aimee again in the near future as my love for travel continues to grow.

Our family absolutely loved our trip to Croatia and are very grateful for the wonderful itinerary Aimee at Avant Garde put together for us. Our accommodations and tours were exceptional and we appreciated the way all our transfers and travel were worry free. She took care of everything for us!
