In my entire of life of hiring cars from Avis or other service providers, this Avis is the only one that I cannot deal with. The experience was awful and unpleasant, and I was charged for extra cleaning fee which never occurred in other Avis store. The man in charge told the car was returned in a conditional of unclean, but he cannot define what clean state is and whether it is clearly stated in T&C. I will never go with this store again or maybe never go with any Avis. I had same condition in New Zealand, I returned the car with spilled spots since I have kids but I was never charged for extra cost on that. As a service provider, I am shamed on you.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Hired a car recently and the service from the staff member was excellent. Courteous & friendly. The car I reserved was ready, clean and I was able to get on with my day without a hassle. I returned the car in a clean state and full tank and the return process couldn't have been easier. I had to get a rental whilst my own car was out for a major repair. Jules at Avis Waitara assisted me with an Hyundai I30 and a flexible rental term as I wasn’t sure how long I needed the rental. Jules was helpful and efficient, and able to extend the rental when it turned out the repair on my own car took longer. Good service, and a very neat car.

Awesome service. Have used them fora personal trip and also as part of getting a hire car from NRMA. Very prompt with the vehicle delivery. Vehicles are always clean and as expected. Easy drop off available as well. Convenient location, though parking might be bit tough to get. Will recommend highly.

Really good service. I booked for a Rav4 through my insurance company , but got a Hyundai . They told they are no longer having Toyotas, I have to go with Hyundai. The car was neat and clean and the staff was very friendly and the entire pick up and drop process was quick and easy.

Wouldn’t allow bond deposit to pay by cash (without 1.29% cc surcharge), wouldn’t give the after hours key drop on weekend, wouldn’t allow reservation for Hyundai iLoad Van, that I wanted to hire 2.5 days, and there policy is not good enough.

This firm charge a 'premium location fee' Even though it costs them nothing extra, they also charge an admin fee for any extra km used. These are sneaky charges they use to squeeze extra money out of you. Be careful.

Didn't have the vechicle type my company had booked, but rather than just a standard upgrade they gave me a premium due to the error. Really nice people to deal with too!!

Very convenient hours (open Sundays), good location (right near train station), clean cars, efficient service, reasonable prices. Definitely my go to place a hire car.

So easy to deal with, quick to do the paperwork and get us on the road. Easy to change booking arrangements. Just overall extremely professional and helpful.
