We were there on 10/8th to see the Elvis show, and let me tell it was amazing. We had the burrata which I think is one of the best if not the best we've had in Charlotte and the lasagna, which according to their menu, it fir 2 people. We brought the left over home, and we ate for 2 more days. The size is abundant for more than 2 people. We love this place, we've been there before, but what I want to mention is this, we love the food, the ambience but in this particular night, we loved the service. After being sitted for more than 20 minutes, Chris a staff member came to us and asked us if anyone has come by to take our order, he saw us there waiting for our server, and he never showed up, but him, very attentive, apologized for the inconvenience, and even though he's not a server, he decided to take our order, not only for drinks, because he said he's the barback,but for our food as well, and he kept an eye on us through out the entire show ( Elvis ). If it had not been for him (Chris) our experience would have been completely different. There's 3 things that makes us come to back to a restaurant, 1-food, 2-ambience and 3-service, the most important, and let me tell you, Chris is the reason we're coming back, I hope the boss/owner sees this and he can appreciate him the way we did, and if you're reading this, ask for him when you go there, you'd be glad you did. Great night out with my girls! BAR ONE has definitely brought a vibe to Charlotte! We traveled from North Charlotte for the experience, and they did NOT disappoint! The ambiance, food, drinks, and customer service waa top notch. The music level was perfect for conversation. Special shout out to Juan and Chris! They provided superb service! They answered all questions and helped us make final selections. Even our host Brandon was really sweet and suggested we order the drink he created! It was cute! Our table ordered the following: Appetizers: Phillips Place Scallops and wood fired wings Drinks: mojito and strawberry margarita Entree: Double Pepperoni Pizza, James (Red Snapper), All American Burger Everything was absolutely delicious! Bad experience. We were seated and told server would be over,10,15 mins go by no service.the hostesses finally came over and said we are sorry we are trying to figure out who is going to serve you...!!! Instaed of just taking the drink order and saying I'll go ahead and put them in while I get your server.she just went back to her station.mind you it was slow in the back three tables tops who were being tended to can't help to feel it's that blacks don't tip prejudice. Especially when out of all the servers who were already back there,non black server, they sen a black young lady to serve us.she was very sweet and apologetic but we all know what we t down and it was uncomfortable for us. However again she was great! This was our second time coming and the last you don't treat people like that and we tip. Being that we both served at a time. Management get it together on your staff. The first time we came we had an older white lady from New York she was awsome if she's gone get her back. The younger staff you had could use some hospitality training.

I am a frequent guest of Bar One as it is one of my favorite places however, after my last experience there and how Stephen, one of the “owners” acted in front of the entire bar I doubt I will ever visit again. I cannot condone how the employee/ employee(s) were spoken too. He walked up to the bar and was yelling at one employee inappropriately and in such a loud firm voice everyone stopped and was looking around. It was very disrespectful and quite honestly rude. I have to say that the employee who was treated so rudely is always working and is always so pleasant and kind. She is one of the main reasons we have continued to visit. Someone needs to have a conversation with him on how to speak to people. I would assume since he was in there eating with his family, he wanted to impress them. Well, it did quite the opposite for everyone else that was visiting that day. Stephen needs to learn how to operate a business and how to speak to others would be my biggest advice for him!

My recent visit to One Lounge, a popular bar, was overshadowed by an unfortunate incident involving a rude and disrespectful patron. While the venue itself exuded an inviting ambiance and provided an enjoyable experience overall, the behavior of a particular lady marred an otherwise pleasant evening. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the staff at One Lounge were committed to ensuring a positive customer experience. They were attentive, friendly, and swiftly attended to our needs. However, the harmony of the evening was abruptly disrupted when a lady, seated at a nearby table, directed her frustrations at the staff in the most unkind manner. What started as a minor misunderstanding soon escalated into a verbal assault on the staff. It was disheartening to witness someone openly insulting and berating individuals who were merely doing their best to cater to the needs of all patrons. Their professionalism and composure in the face of such disrespect were commendable.

Came for an anniversary dinner and dined in the bar one lounge. It was a crowded Sat evening and had I been there before, maybe I would have known the expected crowd, but I though it would be more of a quiet/ romantic lounge space. The worst part, however, was the fact that my husband and I were seated at a bar side booth and the group at the bar stood up almost the entire time even though there was open seating available at the bar. Because of the narrow space between the bar and the booth, the guy standing had his butt practically on our table. I had to tap him and ask him to watch his distance to our table and our food. He had a slight attitude, but I didn't care because he wasn't being considerate of our space. So, my main disappointment was I expecting a little less crowd, but again I didn't know. The food was at least good and the server was great. Our drinks took a long while to come out (well after our food) but I didn't mind too much.

I have been going here for a few weeks now. Upon my first visit, I was served by a man named Niko. Service was impeccable. He asked what kind of liquor I preferred and if I had any food allergies or anything I did not like in cocktails. I told him I like tequila mostly and nothing too sweet or too spicy. I was served several rounds, all different tequila drinks that were the best cocktails I've had in Charlotte, hands down. I ordered the honey badger pizza (well done), the kitchen did an amazing job. Since then, I have been served by several other bar tenders, and everyone has been very pleasant and helpful. And have ordered about a quarter of the menu, and they have yet to disappoint. This was my first visit to Bar One. I was greeted instantly by Brandon. From the moment I sat down, he was kind, warm, and hospitable. Having learned I was new to the area, he offered a kind hand and suggestions on Charlotte’s hottest spots. Bar One being number 1! As an executive in the corporate world and the chemical industry, it is critical as a procurement leader, to understand where to propose meetings and entertainment as the fiscal year evolves. Because of Brandon, I will visit your establishment again. Both personally, as well as hosting many of my professional colleagues in the future. Great place to celebrate. Service was actually great for the amount of people that were there. Food was amazing and presented very well. Bartender choice Signature drinks are a must. They handled my concerns politely and quicky. That's all I ask as a patron. Shout out to the brother who asked me to leave the review for getting someone from management to handle that concern. It’s not like me to leave a review without experiencing service somewhere. However, tonight I went into this bar with 3 clients of mine, entertaining them for what was supposed to be a great evening. We were at a restaurant close by and looking for a bar within walking distance for a night cap. We entered around 9:45, with the bar’s hours stating they closed at 11. We walked in and were stared at by 4 staff members. I asked if they were open, and the staff didn’t even respond. I asked again, still no response, just wide eyed stares - god forbid we entered their bar to try to have a drink! Absolutely bizarre and unacceptable. We naturally left, but what a poor and embarrassing customer service experience, especially as I was entertaining customers of mine. Will never return here.

First once we seated it took about 10 minutes to wait on us, no fault of our server. Jasmine was not aware she had another table. She gets 5 stars for service. Now the reason they get 1 star. We had a party of 5. They didn't have crab cakes. So we ordered 4 orders of red snapper. Waitress came back and said they only had 3 orders so I ordered something else. Then she came back and said they only had enough for 2 after they already brought the 2 to the table. We just got up and left without eating or drinking. This was it for us. The manager offered the food free and 50%off drinks but I refused to pay for drinks when my glass was still full. We immediately went to Steak 48 best decision ever.

So unimpressed and underwhelmed by this place. First of all at a price point of $22 and up for ONE drink… this place has a long way to go as far as Customer Service and raising the bar. The Owner of this place could learn a lot with a few field trips to Halls Chop House or Hestia. At your price point the staff should be more welcoming ( I waited at least 5-6 minutes after I sat down, to even have someone acknowledge me) , and maybe smile at the patrons, and at this price point you should be asking for my name and at least PRETENDING you care about my patronage!! You have a lot to still learn to set your bar higher. A lot

Just tried to walk in for a nightcap at 9:55, hours state closing at 11 and they wouldn’t serve me. They stated that it was slow so they decided to close early. A table was still enjoying a cocktail (glasses full and a party of four, I am one person) so it would have been quite simple to serve me but they declined. I reminded them of the business hours posted and they said they just decided to close early. Businesses like this do not understand the service industry. Disappointed and won’t be back. I have frequently recommended this place because I work close by and will not do so anymore.

It was nice overall . Yummy drinks / pricey but worth it and good selection . Didn’t eat so I couldn’t say . I think we happened to walk in when the host was busy bc we were a bit confused when first walked in ab where we could go but someone came after a couple of minutes . Bar was busy we snagged a table . Vibes were great and music was good . Def would recommend for a nice experience at the bar . Will say ; we parked nearby and walked ; we didn’t see any clear set parking for it .

Excellent service, bartenders are the best in this state, pizza was amazing, bar is stylish and decorated very beautiful but I don’t know who are those guys who played a sport channel in such a classy bar on Saturday night - it totally ruined the date atmosphere. First time coming here was okay, several things that bothered me. 1) no one checked back with us to see if we needed anything, hard trying to get anyone’s attention. 2) And they kept playing 50cent back to back, I don’t know who had the aux that night but the music started off good but I kid you not it seemed like they played every album of his… “ they even played the power theme song which I love” but omg it got to the point where I was so irritated and had to go. 3)the truffle fries were “GOOD”and the wings were okay. Don’t know if I’d go back though

I like dogs and think they are adorable, but the "emotional support dog" thing has been taken too far. People have allergies and some have strong fear of dogs. What about cleanliness and health code matters when in fact, we don't know how people maintain their animals or their homes? Once I observed this, our party stopped ordering and left for another restaurant/bar. This is not a Starbucks patio. This is an interior restaurant bar and I would have never expected to see a dog stare me in my face during my visit.

This is one of my go-to places in Charlotte for a good drink. They've recently expanded the bar, which is good because sometimes, in the past, it was hard to find a seat. They have a menu of classic cocktails and unique cocktails crafted for the patrons. The bartenders can also make other favorites that are not on the menu. You can also order food. Went to Bar One Lounge around 11 pm and ordered their French Onion Soup from their late night menu and..it..was..so..delicious! Highly recommend. Also ordered a Clover Club from their cocktail menu and it was perfect- light and not too sweet. The staff was also really friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is spot on in there, moody with really incredible art and decorative accents throughout.

We had reservations here at 8:15 and had to show up just a little late due to some of us being in an accident, and they were very understanding and accommodating. The atmosphere and music here made it a great bar lounge. The drinks were all great, they are pricey but worth it. We had the parmesan fries, which were outstanding, it came with a cheese fondue. And we also had 2 pizzas which were amazing. I can’t wait to come here again. The drink below was called ‘State of Grace’

I hate to leave this review as we have loved this bar but it has always been a little quieter and a lovely place for a cocktail and conversation. We have reservations for one of the 3 tables. It’s quite small. And it is SO LOUD it doesn’t make the excellent ($15) cocktail worth it. I’m dreading having to wait for our food. Women are SCREAMING in here. I’m appalled that management hasn’t tried to stop the absolute obnoxious and ear piercing behavior. We won’t be back.

We went to BAR ONE for Birthday celebration on 2/20/2022 Sunday afternoon. We waited 2 hours for our food and it was salty and cold, it took them one hour to state what my friend ordered was not available. I ask one of the servers/waiter for some utensils to eat our cold food with and he never even went to get it or check on us. This was the first time we went to BAR ONE and will not recommend anyone to visit this establishment, food is not good at all!

It would have been a fantastic experience… if we didn’t get booted from our table and basically forced to take our fresh food to-go. We would have loved to enjoy the atmosphere, but apparently we were seated at a table someone else reserved. Really frustrating to have to leave our booth, unfinished drinks and boxes of still-hot meals in hand, to the bar where all the staff proceeded to stare awkwardly at us while they rushed us out. Won’t be returning.

Vibe was great…..bar was full but not over crowded. Extremely comfortable seating with booths available, bar tops, and regular tables. Loved the options. Drinks were good as you’d expect from a bar, but unexpectedly the artisan pizzas were quite tasty and I’m not a big fan of pizza AT ALL!! What an amazing gem! Sophisticated decor, top-notch service team, high quality handcrafted cocktails, and spectacular food. They are the best bar in the area, stay open past 10pm M-Sa, and even serve late night food! Definitely try the Bar One tartare (made with Wagyu!), stallion pizza, and save room for a sea salt caramel cheesecake. They definitely live up to their motto: “WHERE THE STATUS QUO IS MEANT TO BE SHAKEN”

Had a business meeting with a larger group in the Bar One Lounge area. The appetizer foods served were enjoyable, and many commented on the large variety within the drink and cocktail section available. Multiple water selections were available, which I enjoyed :). I also enjoyed the darker, leather-laden, private, almost intimate atmosphere of the lounge area.

We stopped here for drinks after dinner. It was around 11p when we got there and it was crowded! If you want a seat, go earlier! The lady at the door wasn't too helpful but someone else did help assist us with a table. The space is really tight, but the drinks and service were great!

I went there on a Saturday afternoon for lunch I had the wings and the chicken parm, both were excellent . Also they had a great selection of beer to choose from. Definitely had a warm and inviting atmosphere the moment you walk in, they had fast service and a friendly staff. Will definitely be making a return visit.

I recently dined at Bar One and I have to say my experience was amazing! The new expansion area is perfect! I highly recommend trying out their pizzas and getting a few cocktails while at it. Staff was friendly and checked in with us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. I will be back soon.

The food was amazing, and I cannot say enough about our waiter/bartender Matthew. He not only made amazing, delicious drinks, but it was some really good conversation. BarOne was great. Lots of people….good music. I had the blueberry cheesecake and strawberry something non-alcoholic drink. It was okay but the cheesecake was to die for. Atmosphere was great and the bar was open till 2am, which is a plus in Charlotte.

My daughter brought me here and we had a wonderful time. We sat outside and the complete salad with salmon was possibly the best salad I have ever had! Staff was attentive and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves!
