My time spent shopping here for Christmas gifts this year was fantastic. I was able to get pretty much everything I needed. My only issue was having trouble finding Christmas Shirts for both men& women. What I did find only had limited sizes and seemed to be sold out. The store was very clean and tidy, and ample staff were working to keep shelves stocked during the busy period. Lining up was a breeze with all registers open as well as a staff member dedicated to managing self service checkouts. Staff were all friendly even in the stress of the holiday season.

Disappointed at the customer service on Friday afternoon. All the staff didn't seem to want to be there. It was as if they needed to be there and they'd do the bare minimum for their shifts. We had to chase several staff to ask questions and felt like we were troubling them just to get some customer service. We ended up leaving without buying anything purely based on the horrible customer service. It was completely the opposite when we went to Kmart here, as the staff were super approachable and gave great customer service.

It's a great affordable variety store. Can clothe the whole family and look after your entertainment needs with lots of toys, books, DVDs and outdoor play equipment in stock. There's also a home section where you'll find kitchenware, appliances, linen and cleaning equipment and chemicals. To top it all off there is also a party section where you will find balloons, candles and other party supplies. With extended hours, it's my go to store for last minute presents, with cards and wrapping paper also available.

Although the product range at Big W Carindale is second to none as fare as Big W’s go, the shopping experience in their store is deplorable! We live in QLD where it’s hotter than Beelzebub’s balls! And when stepping inside Big W Carindale it felt like they had the heater on! I was in there today and within minutes I was sweating profusely as if I was running a marathon on mars! For the love of God and all things pure PLEASE TURN THE AC ON and crank that mother up!

With a wide variety on offer, i have learnt to check the online catalogues and printed ones before going in to make sure i don't miss out on any deals that are on offer. With loads of items for the children and also having a great variety of items for uniforms and clothing. I do find it difficult to find sizes larger then a XXXL when shopping. The pay areas are always well attended by staff and they are super friendly and helpful.

I like this Big W. It's close to 2 different car parks at Westfield Carindale so it makes it easy to get any large items to the car. Staff are friendly and helpful. Even though they were out of stock if what I wanted they told me when it would be back in stock and I didn't evwn have to ask. And the prices are great. It's a Big W. This is a nice, fresh store in the Big W chain. The area is very clean, open, and uncluttered, making it easy to access with a wheelchair. The range is average for a Big W. However, it is very sorely lacking in ladies' intimates - a very small selection. There is also almost no plus-size clothing for men or women compared to other stores. I was impressed to find recycling stations for children's toys and electronic goods.

Staff were disgustingly rude and offensive. Blantly accused of shop lifting despite showing a receipt. Asked for an apology which the self serve lady did not. Even though we did not buy anything from there but target. I will never shop there. I hope the oriental lady that works there looses her job. Disgusting behaviour. Management should look closely at there staff and review who should keep there job. Vial dogs

Big W isn't good value, for me anyway, just saying, although they were much dearer a couple of years ago when I would not even enter the store cuz overpriced and uncompetitive. I walk through now and again because they have decided to look at the competition, competitive in some things, comic book in others nowadays for me. I can usually source a lot of what they sell elsewhere. Hey they have improved, deservedly so

Always first class customer service. Wide variety of quality products. Had everything I needed, and when I couldn't find what I needed, male staff happily pointed me in the right direction. And Afterpay...Big W and Afterpay is a shopper's dream. EDIT: I've got to make a special mention of Carmel, the Queen of the Service Desk. Unfailingly cheerful and super efficient. Flawless employee!

Hips of sweets and good stuff. They have a separate party section which has everything you need for a great celebration - from nice party plates and cutlery to led lights balloons and decoration. Also, nice choice of home stuff, kitchen gadgets and things for children. Prices are awesome by the way. Check this one out for lots of good things, you'll never leave it with empty hands :)

I'd like to give a big shoutout to the wonderful woman working at the service desk yesterday at 5 pm. She not only helped me with a refund but also guided me through the purchase of a replacement vacuum cleaner. It's truly a rarity to encounter such helpful individuals in this day and age, and I wanted to ensure that her employer knows they have a superstar on their team!

Big W Westfield Carindale have lots of stock. Staff's do exceptional customer service and very helpful. Affordable shoes,clothing,toys,and lots of other items . Have big section for kids as well. T shirts starting from 5 rollers. Steel caped boots are cheeper.The only negative thing is they charge for bags . It's my favourite big W store on this area.

My daughter wanted the Emma Wiggles cuddle doll. We walked into the store on Saturday and after minutes of searching couldn’t find it. I was approached by a friendly staff member who checked if they had any available and then found the doll for us. Excellent customer service from Rehema. Thank you. Keep up the good work …

Great department store. Has everything plus good specials. Easy returns. Convenient and close parking. Located on the ground floor, not far from the entrance. Easy shop to maneuver. Friendly staff. No fuss returns or exchange. For everyday needs, this shop is conveniently located and has everything you need.

Big W has always, previously, been our go to store, but of late, prices are too expensive for the quality of their goods. Bought a plate and check out could not provide anything to wrap it in to protect it. Husband and I have verbalise to each other that we will now go to an opposition chain first in future.

Some paint and new bits and pieces won't fix this store. Always hot and sweaty. They don't turn the Aircon on. It is well stocked. The staff are friendly but this place is still stuck in 1979 when it was built. Same floor which is worn out and looking at the ceiling reminds of the dodgy 1980s.

Wonderful male staff member full of smiles & personality welcoming everyone into Big W.. Big W has a variety of goods from kitchen appliance, clothing in many sizes, toys, lollies, electronics, music etc this store full of awesome products for all age groups, I'm really impressed with Big W!!!

This is a very big Big W (no pun intended) with a really good range. The staff are lovely. Parking at carindale is what it is, however if you can negotiate the labyrinth that is the undercover parking, you can find yourself at the bottom of a travelator that takes you directly up to Big W.

Nice neat and clean store, can find a wide range and stock on Carindale Big W. But most of the time customer service counter was unattended and when you ring the bell to call someone who expected a rude unhappy face come on counter. Recommended to maintain the service as Big W standards.

Its a typical Big W but some stocks needed a good tidy up...Helpfull staff and easy to find in the shopping centre due to many direction signs. ..there is also an escalator right there that leads directly to a car park for those who just want quick access to this Big W location...

Good store, easy to find things, fairly well stocked but I was chasing several stationery items that were not in stock at the time. Self checkout was quick and easy. I like that there's now paper bags you can buy at the register instead of the reusable enviro bags

Tracy manning the self automated product machines area was super helpful and also calmly dealt with a foul-mouthed and difficult customer with ease. It would've been the usual 3 stars, but Tracy's efforts bumped it up. Props to you, Tracy. Well done!

As busy as it is at this time of year the staff on the front end are amazing. They have kept both lines going to the checkouts and self services. Even though those lines were never ending they all kept smiles on there faces great job everyone

If you're looking for books, just try the Big W at Garden City instead. Carindale's Book Department is always half stocked and they take ages to put out the new releases on the shelf so you usually have to go chasing someone to grab a copy

Close to parking lot and with a lovely sitting area in front of the store. Great range of products. Part of the beautiful upscale Carindale mega mall. Three hours free under cover parking. Easy access. Very pleasant shopping experience.

Big W is a great store to scout around for low priced lovely items at bargain prices - especially during the sales. The sweets section and the greeting card section are both my go to areas, Haribo sweets for $2 and the budget greeting

Regular shopper at Big W but I don't go to this one often. There feels as though there's no aircon in this store. It's so hot, stuffy and smelly. Could only last 10minutes before we had to leave. Wouldn't go back unless I had to.

Tried ordering same day delivery. Don't bother they will charge you extra money and the item will NOT be delivered same day. Tried ringing to find out where it was, the lady who answered couldn't care and why should she.

I visited here today, 13/11/21 at about 1-2pm and the young dark-haired female in the layby department was quite rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. Some manners and a personality adjustment would go a long way!

Big W needs a better solution to their stock management system. On a number of occasions stock is showing in store. A purchase is made to click and collect and advised later that the items arent available.

Visited last week all the staff were smiling and friendly and coming up to ask how I was and to enjoy my day. It was very nice to see friendly smiling faces I wish more stores will have the same attitude.

An alternative option to the other big 2. Good spread of choices and there is even a nursery in this one! Bought 2 medium-size Travellers palms at rather good price. So glad to have found them here!

This store is great because it’s right next to one of the escalators. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. I’ve had boots from here that have lasted me years and years.

Most times when I go through self checkouts I get a middle aged lady named Angie. She is the most rude abrupt inpatient staff member I've see.ill go back to kmart from now on.

Helpful staff, good prices. A lot of things aren't on display that you see on the web so ask the service desk as they don't always have room in the shop floor for everything.

Do NOT order for delivery. They use Couriers Please. Needless to say, my parcel got 'lost in transit' and the courier company does absolutely nothing to assist.
