the food is ok but I had a rather bad experience with the staff and her services We order food and drinks (two Matcha latte and one yuza sparking ) and when the two hot drinks arrvied, the blonde waitress mentioned a Ice Tea YUZA Matcha will arrive shortly, I correct her and said we that we didn't order that. She ackonwoledge and said the right drink will serve later on. When the cold drink arrvied, it's the Ice Tea YUZA Matcha that we didn't order, I told the petite young asian lady ( seems to be the senior staff) thats not what I order, she insist we orderd it wrong and not offering a solution such as excahnge for another drink, which caught me by suprise for a palce charge $6.50 for a drink, she just put in on the table and walks away. I don't see the point to argue with her and make a scene, maybe she misheard it or we ordered it wrong but the only thing I am certain is I DON'T DRINK TEA. As I return the drink to the counter , without a sip, and settle my bill.. she still charge us full with it. I am not coming back again and will advise all of my friends as well
It used to be one of the best cafes in Sydney, offering amazing quality food and confectionery. However, the new management has taken a toll on everything. They changed the menu, removed unique and fantastic dishes, and reduced the overall food quality and ingredients. It's likely the chef has changed too because the food went from heavenly to unbearable. On the bright side, their confectionery, especially the croissants, are still better than most places in Sydney. It's such a shame as they used to be legendary.
This is my favourite bakery. Quality sourdough and pastries with friendly staff and great coffee to boot! I called up Saturday morning and within 2 hours I picked up 20 cannoncini made that morning to order (photo attached). The cannoncini are my favourite treat from Bakerie. Very much appreciate that Bakerie were able to accommodate my order on such short notice. Everyone loved the cannoncini! Thank you!

One of the best bakeries in the upper north shore. The croissant is so fluffy, absolutely loving the croissants! Will be back for the matcha croissant that sold out that day! On par with my love of Lune croissanterie! Portuguese tart is just all right. I didn’t try the coffee as I’m here for the pastry! The puffy & cream filling cannoncino is simply delicious for someone like me who doesn’t like sweet things. Wish it had outdoor seating for me and my dog.
Great spot to grab a coffee on the run - which is excellent and not too hot! Food, trying too hard, a little simplification would help. Atmosphere a bit limited due to lack of space with people manoeuvring around waiting for coffee and on top of people trying to eat. They're doing their best in the circumstances and have some amazing pastries!

The best coffee in the area by far. It's one of my favourite cafes ever. The vibe is laid-back that you can easily spend a whole afternoon here (which some people do). The staff are extremely friendly, and even if they're busy, they're still so friendly and chatty. The pastries are a little on the expensive side, but so worth it because you're paying for top quality. Would recommend this place!!
Delicious croissant but not the best customer service. The two girls at the coffee machine were a bit too slow (probably training which is fine, but on a weekend?). There was just one girl looking after everything else, including tables, and of course she was struggling. Not her fault of course. Hopefully it was just a one off, otherwise I really hope the manager will get some help for her.
First time visiting Bakerie. The almond croissant (a bit on saltier side?) and earl gray tea croissant (tea flavoured cream was nice! Could be slightly less sweeter) were crunchy and fresh. Their black coffee was pretty good! Seemed very busy at the time I visited on a Sunday both for take out and dine in. There's 5 small tables indoors. Can't wait to return for more pastries!
Located on the main road of Gordon. A wide variety of pastries, sandwiches and hot pies. No outdoor seating so not dog friendly. Had a takeaway - citrus earl grey croissant and portuguese tart which was crispy and chewy inside. Toasted reuben sandwich was really good - especially the bread! Not very cheap but reasonably priced. Happy we found this place!
Nice food. Ordered the deluxe croissant and chicken burger. Not fat or oily at all. Cold brew is just right with mandarin and dried fruit flavour. It’s nice. Only thing is it’s next to the main road.

I visited every Saturday. Well trained staff and perfect coffee with well balanced food too. And the reason I deducted one star from the review that staffs always use gloves when moving the display croissants. Please do not touch food without gloves in front of the customer.

One of my neighbourhood favourites! Always welcoming staff, great coffee, yummy breakfast, delicious croissants & the best rye sourdough I tried in Australia. Always a pleasure coming to this busy little cafe. They also sell some amazing take-home produce, such as farmer eggs, granola & more. Highly recommend.
Food: 5/5 Excellent pastries and coffee. Love their croissants one of the best I’ve ever had in Sydney. Service: attentive and friendly staff Price: 4/5 Pastries and bread are all a bit pricey, but their quality definitely deserves that price tag! Would definitely come back for the croissants and coffee!
Looks great on socials. Cold brew was nice. The pastries ...I won't order again. $10 Ferrero croissant was chewy and damp (the pastry). It felt old. Like they'd used yesterday's croissants to fill today. The meat pie filling for a generic beef pie was lifeless. No gravy. Meat carrot and celery. Odd.
A 3.25 on pies. Heard about this neighbourhood cafe which sells delish pies. Grabbed couple of beef pie chicken pie n could not resist choco croissant as well. They werent out of this world n they aint cheap but well above average. Certainly slightly better than pottery green down the road.
Incredible, fantastic, great coffee. The service is wonderful and some of my favourites are the chicken filo, beef pie, croissant, baguette, fruit bread, sandwiches, brioche buns. The only problem is you have to get in quick if you want your favourite! Did I mention award worthy coffee?
Great place for brunch in Gordon! Coffee was great and service was too. Eggs were poached to perfection. Definitely have to go back to try their croissant They’re also open during lockdown for takeaway! Ordered the earl grey croissant and definitely didn’t disappoint!
Beside croissants lighter than air which I forgot to take a photo of since I was supper hungry, the breakfast portions are generous and well design and more importantly they taste lovely. Give it a try you won’t regret. A bit limited indoor space which is negligible.
It’s places like these that make me so happy to be living in Gordon love the pastries and bread here - if you haven’t tried one of their Cruffins - DO IT. Also has decent coffee and a small delectable menu if you’re looking for something more substantial. …
Mouth watering pastries. Online ordering and delivery available (without a small radius of Gordon). Covid safe measures well implemented. Highly recommend the creme brulee pastry, the Portuguese custards and the various croissant flavours!!! Heavenly!!
I be the cafe two times on two days. Same food but different prices. I asked what is happening? The boss was very unpolished and rude came to me and tell me get money back from tips box. That is the service I never had. horrible experience …
Tried their three berries cheesecake croissant and chunky meat pie here and it was amazingly delicious. We arrived 30 minutes to closing so unfortunately they weren't as flaky as I would've liked but still tasted delicious. Highly recommend
We had a sandwich and a few more dishes from the kitchen. All tasty, and I'd say big servings. Also took home some pastries for afternoon tea. It only has a few tables for eat in, so we had to wait a little. Friendly service too.
I have been visiting this cafe couple of time, love their food especially chilli scrambled eggs, croissant and cannoncini. Since they change the management, their food has more variety with higher standard, highly recommend!
A quaint bakery with a plethora of amazing fresh baked goods such as loaves of sourdough, pastries, pies and quiches! I bought a fresh cereals sourdough a few days ago and it was delicious for $9.80.
Creme brulee pastry taste nice but the pistachio one taste too rich. Over all the pastry is not crispy enough, hope it can be more fresh

Amazing catering service! Thank you Frank and the team for an excellent service. We couldn’t be more happy and all our guest praise how wonderful the food was! Thanks thanks thanks again!
Outstanding pastry options and excellent value for money! We ordered catering for our picnic and all the guests loved it. Their coffee and matcha range adds a nice perk too!
Pastries were quite nice especially the chorizo quiche and almond croissant. The pie could have been better. Coffee is solid as well. Overall a nice, cozy place in Gordon.
Bought a choc croissant ($6.90). Pricey but very very good. Not sure if it's the best in Syd but defs up there. Probably the best croissant I've had in the north shore.
Very cozy vibes for chitchating and enjoying coffee and croissants. Their croissants varies even they have the cube one, next time will try! - @foodjournal_byjess
Had a quick lunch. We had the Classic Beef Pie n Pepper Beef Sausage Roll. The pie was better than average with onions n carrots. The mochas we had were nice.
A good variety of bakery selection! Tho the chocolate and pistachio croissant is a bit sweet for me, I would still like to revisit and try out other items!
Good quality food and coffee (coffee could have been a bit hotter) , and the prices are reasonable

A black (charcoal) twist on the classic pain-au-chocolate. Nice big breakfast (but let down by the poached eggs not oozing it yellowy gooyeness).
what an impressive campos coffee they serve! thick crema, smooth as, nutty, chocolaty. totally blown away to find such a gem in suburbia sydney!
Super cute cafe with great food and amazing pastries. Do not leave without grabbing at least one pastry. Loved their chilli scrambled eggs.
Chicken congee was a bit salty. Chorizo was really fatty. Homemade hush brown was basically soaked in oil. Croissants are $9 each. Yikes.
Great artisan bakery, they have different items all the time so always worth dropping in. Black sesame croissant last week was amazing.
An incredible array of French inspired baked goods. Came away with just croissant and sourdough today but will be back for more treats!
Incredible fresh pastries! Creme brulee was a stand out. Also loved the almond croissant, Apple pastry, and pistachio pastry
One of the best pastry shops I’ve been to. The pistachio pain is superb. Their croissants and pies are also delicious
Excellent food and service. Quick and friendly staff, best croissants and beautiful breads. Just so tasty!
Had the creme brulee tart. Would have preferred a warm creme brulee so I wouldn't want to order it again.
Amazing pastries and coffee. Been visiting this place alot often in lockdown. Friendly staff members :)
Amazing pastries and croissants! Highly recommend the taro croissant and chilli scrambled eggs!
