Burnt coffee and saccharine and insipid desserts. If you enjoy negligent service and mono dimensional desserts, this is your place. The desserts are extremely sweet so if you need a sugar fix and don’t care about what you’re eating, this is the place for you. At least, the water is good. Not worth the trip off the beaten path.
Oh, how delicious and delightful this restaurant is. I can not say enough about the delicious desserts. We ate every last bite of it all!!!!! I so wish I had some now! Try one of everything! I loved the lemon and the benyay.. I know the spelling is off..... Oh I had bacon mac and cheese as my entree... I will be back! More
The food and service here are amazing! This had become my neighborhood bar because conversation with staff is easy and the cocktails are amazing. After you have brunch or dinner, you can finish your meal with a tasty Doberge cake slice or Dobites. Top 10 cocktail bar in New Orleans. More
A small quaint little place right off of the freeway. Might be a little hard to find parking on the street if it's a busy night. The wait staff was very nice and the cakes and treats were delicious. Interesting selection of cocktails. Fun place to sit and visit with friends. More
This is located closer to the lower Garden district but took a street car to get there. It has a fun and cozy vibe inside but needed my phone flashlight to read the menu. Prices were a bit steep for my taste for dessert and tea. 2 of us came to be $35. More
This was a fun little excursion! Kind of a boutique-y restaurant. We had the bone marrow and blackened tilapia tacos. The portions were generous so we had to take our cake (petit fours) to go. Our server was great, offering great suggestions. More
Our doberge cakes were outstanding for our wedding! We placed the order about 2 months in advance for 5 cakes. We ordered lemon, chocolate, and rainbow surprise. Since we weren't from the area, we didn't taste them beforehand but we weren't
Dined at Bakery Bar on 6/23/2023. Walked into this little cozy bakery with a great first impression. We were greeted by the host promptly and taken to our seat followed by (2) glasses of water. However, after the interaction we waited quite
The King Cake Beignets were phenomenal. They remind me of a very flaky fried dough puff, except they have a cream cheese filling with a cinnamon flavor. I completely understand why they’re so popular. Your visit to New Orleans just is not
Small bar that serves booze, tea and coffee. In addition, lots of options for desserts too. They also have food options, but we did not get any. Highly recommend for groups of friends that are different types of drinkers. The service is a
A nice whole in the wall restaurant in New Orleans. The food is delicious and flavorful, and the service is friendly. The vibe is very hipster with a lot of low lighting of incandescent light bulbs. Definitely a wonderful place to take
Went here looking for dessert with a group of friends on a Wednesday night and Bakery Bar did not disappoint! We were treated to a cozy, warm atmosphere, great service and delicious desserts. All of us were impressed by the combined
We'd been out walking for hours and saw this little gem on the map. We thought it was an odd combo so had to see it. Highly recommend! The desserts are amazing!!! They were serving brunch and have a full bar. Enjoy! More
We went there to try the doberge cake, based on reviews about it. It was ok. The place itself was nice, clean, friendly service and quiet. The menu looked good, but we only tried the cake and some drinks. More
Best doberge cakes. Like they should seriously win an award. Delectable! Tastes even better than it looks. Amazing friendly service. The complete opposite of pretentious. You will love it. Good food too. More
The pastries and the drinks are absolutely amazing but the SERVERS are what made the place so electric and sparkly ✨will be coming back for the unique ambience and them happy hour prices
We've been fans of Bakery Bar for years - particularly of their boozy doberge cakes, their incredible array of cake bites, and their fun happy hour with savory treats and excellent cocktails.
This place blew me.out of the water. From curbside parking to nice throwback vibes and atmosphere. Music was good volume, bar was nice and packed and not to loud.
The desserts were excellent. The regular food wasn't so great. It's a fun little place suitable for a bite and a drink. More
