I just got a chance to speak to duty manager today, David. While he is very helpful that he would provide corrective action on his staffs unacceptable behavior, that doesn’t stop me from leaving this review. Today, my brother get to experience a nasty question from this chinese male staff while making 2 item returns from my purchase saying “what is the reason for your return this time?” While i get it that it he always encounter my family members return items i purchase online, that doesnt give you the right to be nasty. First of all, i always make purchases to these group of stores for my self, my toddler my husband and my relatives. I make weekly purchase that i sometimes make 700-800cad worth of one time purchase. My intention of making a purchase is to keep the item hoping it does fit well however, sometimes, an item does look better in the picture than on yourself. Therefore you have no choice but to return them. No one would like to go through the process of getting charged and then wait for the returns to come back. So unfortunate that some ppl are so ignorant to react this way not knowing why returns has to be made. Totally unacceptable behavior. I hope this manager knows this staff needs to be educated how customers are to be treated. Its disappointing. I still intend to buy through banana rep online and when the time comes, i hope to make some returns myself and really hope to experience being treated sarcastically at this location at square one and i will make sure they know how i feel right on spot. Overall, I do enjoy this store, however the staff are nice and cute and helpful but what really ruined the experience is that when I did not buy all 5 things I tried on and chose to stick with one, the girl that was helping me stopped me and actually peered into my bag and asked what I bought and made a face when she realized it was JUST ONE THING. Ok so I understand you get additional pay for what people buy, but it is not ok to act this way. Poor customer service. Also I saw some of the associates on their phones. Gives an "I don't care" vibe. As well, whatever is in their disinfecting bottles made my skin peel off on my hand. I asked them if this is alcohol or hand sanitizer and the girl said it's just hand sanitizer. I walked away for a second (after having this liquid splash on me) and heard the girl laugh and say that she lied to me about what is in the bottle and how she apparently feels badly about this. Again, poor customer service. Gave this a 4 star because I like the brand, while this whole customer service ordeal deserves less stars. Just fix up your customer service and it will be a 5 star.

I walked into this store yesterday with my daughter. The blonde female manager looked at us and kept doing what ever she was doing at the desk. Then a couple came in right after us and I heard her say "Hi you two!" Very loudly and chipper to the couple. We walked around the store and each time someone came in she said hi to them. My daughter and I walked past her many times she didn't even say boo to us. So I stood in front of the cash and said to my daughter who was mortified that I said this she's 12 so everything I do mortified her. I said did she notice how this woman acknowledged everyone else but us? Well as I walked of I could hear her yelling her "Hi you two!" Directed at us but I kept on walking she ran towards me and gave me a card for 50% off that a nice young man gave me when I walked in. I told her I had one already. The thing is acknowledge people. Just because I might not dress in fancy dress doesn't mean I can't afford what's is in your store.

Located on upper level by the Walmart. Has Petites. Somewhat helpful staff but they didn't have staff regularly in fitting rooms. Helped myself to a stall, then had to wait a while for help to get zipped. I had called evg before to find a dress in size no other store had left an hr or so before closing. The associate put it on hold but said I would need to call again the day of to put it on hold again, even though I made him fully aware I wouldn't be able to try it on that very evg but would be there tomorrow. He just cited store policy for sale items on hold. I called another store for the same dress next size up just prior, and they had no policy issues. As a frequent buyer of BR Petites I appreciate the apparel so much more when top service goes with the purchase, sale price or regular.

Like a well oiled machine! I went in today to purchase a new outfit and I was instantly greeted by Zee the moment I walked in to the store. She was graat at helping me find the right size since I haven't purchased from BR before. Even when I wanted to try on some clothes, she would radio ahead and let the fitting rooms know that I was in the way and when I got to the fitting rooms, they already had a few of the items I picked out in a fitting room ready to go! Even when I needed sizes they continuously communicated between the back room to see if they have a size or not! The whole staff, including the manager was working together to make the whole shopping process incredibly easy! Thanks Zee and thanks to everyone who helped out! Definetly would return again!

Worst over the phone customer experience. I called To ask how the friends and family discount works and after explaining how I thought it worked the associate actually said “I’m not sure where you’re getting your information from?” Seriously is that how you speak to customers .And she made me feel like I was wasting her time and my call was useless. They need to really focus on providing better quality customer service and they need to hire more professional sales associates who are willing to do their job like “help customers .” Very disappointed with their service today don’t think I’ll be shopping there again.

Do NOT buy Banana Republic suits. The company's quality has gone down the drain. I used to have a Banana Republic blazer that I wore for years, really loved it. I've made 2 suit purchase from them in the last year and both have pockets ripped. I contacted customer support to salvage my suits, but their response shame and ridicule me. Now I have to burn 2 suits over broken pockets just out of principle. Textile used to be about dressing people and making people happy. It's a shame, I don't know what happened to Banana Republic. #Sad

Staff is nice except for the manager. I noticed I had been charged incorrectly and returned to the store 5 min after my purchase. Told the manager that I had been overcharged, he didn't even look at me or apologize, instead he told the other associate that I could get it fixed but I needed to line up again ( 10+ people). Completely unacceptable. I would rate a 1 if it wasn't for the great service of everyone else.

I shop at BR a lot and they're usually good, but today they made me pay full price for a dress that had been on sale when I called to put it on hold. The dress was on sale in Burlington but they didn't have my size so I had to pick it up two days later in Mississauga. They said it wasn't on sale anymore and wouldn't honour the sale price, which I think is unfair.

This Banana Republic make you experience the worst shopping experience you have dream. Katie Fyle the General Manager has trained her staff to exactly copy her attitude with customers, which is the discriminatory and uninviting. I would request the head office to charge the General Manager so that the attitude of check out staff could be helping and welcoming.

Staff can be helpful and a bit too eager at the same time. I usually purchase via website (better deals and selection) and stop by for returns or exchanges. For exchanges, some staff will make it sound like I have to return and repurchase the same SKU. "because it's a different system" I'm told but I suspect they're trying to get the sale and commission.

I used to never go into this store. Now I never leave the mall without going in and buying something. Service has been 5 star plus. I thought nothing would fit me or would appeal to my style but I was so wrong. I have been missing out for years! Thank you for great service and excellent quality clothing.

One of the many outlets that is managed beautifully. Aesthetically arranged shelves and display. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were looked after by Nicole, whome we found to be dedicated, attentive and enthusiastic. We had a wonderful shopping experience at BR.

This was certainly the best time to shop with their 40% & 10% more if you by 3 items. The traveler pants never go on sale so this was great. The staff are very helpful but can be a little over eager at times. Good size selection of men's clothes for fall. It is a nice big store.

BR is my favourite store. The style and quality for its price point is bar none. The location is adequately sized. Sure it doesn't have everything compared to other locations (Eaton centre is probably the best location) but it makes it up with awesome customer experience.

There was a lack of communication among the staff members. I purchased two items, but when I arrived home, I discovered that only one item was in the bag. It seems that they forgot to include the other item, and now they are stating that it is not possible. $75 wasted !!

I love this place. The staff is really helpful and kind. They give good suggestion and the quality of the cloths is 5 on 5. We sometimes get really great deals from clearance section as well, so do check that when you visit here.
