I just spent 20 minutes writing a review and it vanished. Could it be google trying to cover up for an advertiser? BEWARE OF THIS VET CLINIC: These people are greedy, and spiteful. It has changed from the veterinary clinic I first brought my newly adopted kittens to in 2012, though that nice Dr. Flicker is still there. Today he was not there and I saw another veterinarian, Dr. Santos-Brant and her vet tech, Christine. I brought Jaz my three-year-old healthy, vibrant spayed female, in because I thought she had a cold. Some vets tell you these viruses will run their course, whether you treat it or not. But I didn't want Jaz uncomfortable so I brought her in. The office visit only went up a tad bit to $45.50. The vet noted I had not brought Jaz in for a while, and I said she is healthy, good appetite and is an active indoor-outdoor kitty but she's terribly shy of people and a trip to the vet is very stressful. Why would they ask such a question? They also asked where I got the REvolution, and I told them -- the much better priced vet clinic near downtown. Dr.Santos-Brant prescribed an antibiotic injection that cost $60. I was floored and asked if they could provide some oral medication, which they said was $58. I said please, write me a prescription I can get filled. Other vets have so done without any problem. Dr. Santos-Brant grudginly did so. They also recommended an antibiotic eye ointment which from them cost $30 and then there was the ear medications etc. I asked if they could also write a prescription for the eye ointment. I NEVER had such a HEADACHE trying to get anything filled. After five calls to pharmacies it turns out the medication is no longer on the market, it hasn't been for a while and there are other eye ointments that work just as well. So at the end a very frustrating day I called and told the tech Christine this very thing. She said oh they managed to get some of this medication even though it is not on the market anymore. She said I could go to a compounding pharmacy to get it made in a generic. Why would they be using something that isn't being made anymore? And what good is a medication if you cannot afford it? More important, what good is a prescription if you can't get it filled? It's all about money, not the health of my cat. Jaz is not my only cat. And I told them, three weeks ago I took in a third cat because her owner sold her house and moved, and left two cats. I took in one and a neighbor took in the other. It's despicable to deliberately write a prescription this vet knows can't be filled, because the one that suffers is my Jaz. It's not about the animals it's about the money. We all know they are in business to make money, but there is a line where greed should not trump decency. In Hillsborough County, there has been for years a horribly high euthanasia rate for unwanted cats -- not bad cats, but many beautiful, young, healthy kittens and cats that would make wonderful pets. So to turn this egregious thing around the county and local animal rights groups came up with a plan to spay/neuter and release these animals back to their communities, where many people pitch in to feed them. The only opposition has come from many local veterinarians. Why? It's about the money. They lose money. I am thinking of making a complaint to the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine because to write a prescription you know a person cannot get filled is unethical and incompetent. It shows a nastiness nobody needs to see in a medical person. I hope you this review helps someone make a decision and stand up for yourself.
I have given the company over a week to reply to my inquiry, and I’ve gotten no response. So I just want to share this here to hopefully alert any other pet parents to the possible negligence here. We will not be returning to Banfield. Our cat was diagnosed with diabetes at this location about a year ago. Overall it’s been ok, but there have been a few hiccups, I cracked it up to Covid. Iffy communication, etc. Waiting for a phone call/playing phone tag to get updates from doctors, leaving me out waiting in the parking lot for over an hour because they somehow thought I was not waiting for my cat, after they told me it would only be 20 minutes and I told them I would wait. I didn’t complain about any of this although it was an inconvenience. I just cared about the cat getting better. Recently, we just finished our 2nd bottle of insulin, which we have been purchasing from here, naturally. We realized upon completion that the expiration date was 2-22 — so right around the time we bought it? (We don’t go through it very fast.) Needless to say, after spending thousands of dollars treating our cat and bringing him in every 4-6 weeks, we were shocked. How could they possibly have sold us shortdated or expired insulin?! Shame on us for not noticing and blindly trusting this company and office to sell us fresh, potent medicine. That’ll never happen again. As I said, I reached out to the company, just in case expired insulin is actually ok, and gave them the chance to correct or explain, but radio silence. You would think that something like this would receive immediate attention/reassurance. So here is the review and the picture of the bottle. Be warned. UPDATE: My poor cat. He has either been misdiagnosed or had other issues besides diabetes that were not detected or addressed even though this establishment saw him month after month and they ran constant tests on him. I took him to a new Vet for a second opinion (shame on me for waiting so long) and they said his diabetes, if he ever even had it, it’s just fine.. he has hyperthyroidism and elevated liver enzymes. I feel terrible for this sweet guy that he’s been dealing with and suffering from a possible misdiagnosis for over a year now (and for my wife and I, for spending the past year trying to juggle our hectic retail schedules and lives to administer meals and shots 2x a day). i just hope he can still bounce back as he is a mere 7 pounds now even though he eats regularly. I should have done this sooner. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT if you are worried about the same outcome. The money we spent every month trying to treat something that was probably misdiagnosed might be lost, but I am going to be filing a complaint.
For years Vetcare Harris was our family vet for 4 animals. When my brother was ill with terminal cancer, I trusted Vetcare to board my dog Kalob. I paid the extra money so he would be well looked after during my numerous visits to California to care for a dying brother. Upon return from one trip I went to pick up my dog and they warned he had seemed "under-the-weather" for several days. I paid my boarding bill. When they brought him to me his belly was bloated and it was obvious he had a case of dog bloat, something that could have been remedied with a simple dose of antacid if caught early on. As soon as I pointed this out the tech agreed, "oh yeah, you're right" and they rushed him into surgery. It was too late, the several days like that had caused his belly in torsion. He died that night. A few weeks later after receiving condolence cards, I got a bill for the surgery. I thought it was an oversight and turned my attention to handling my brother's final affairs. Two years later, I got a notice of intention to sue for the $350 balance for the surgery, plus attorney fees. I paid/settled my account w the attorney directly as Vetcare claimed there was nothing they could do about the bill at that point. The whole situation was neglectful and painful. It was salt in the wound.. followed by glass shards and rubbing alcohol. To this day they have not made right by me for their oversight, to a loyal customer of over 15 years. It's sad.
This is the second Banfield we have used. When we first moved from Brandon to Tampa, I wasn’t ready to leave our vet. So we continued to drive out there. We have been wellness plan members for years and it’s so worth it! One time our dog was super sick and our regular Banfield said we are full, call the other Brandon one. Based on a rec of a friend, I called this office. I’ll never forget it was Peter who answered the phone, said we are really busy but if you’re concerned about your pet bring her up and we will squeeze you in as soon as we can. And they did just that. We’ve been going here for about a year and a half now and so happy we switched. It’s such a family feel they love your pets and want what’s best for them. Recently, we were so worried about our puppy because he couldn’t stop throwing up. They again, squeezed us in even with the craziness of how they’re functioning during Covid. I was well informed the entire time and it sucked dropping him off but I knew he was well taken care of. The next day, Dr. Santos called me from home on her day off to go over my puppies x rays results with me and answer all my questions. We’ve been there a lot in the last few days and I know they’re swamped but they are all still making every effort to take the best care of our pets and I am so happy we found this Banfield. ❤️
Okay, so we came here after all of the positive reviews. And gave it 2 chances with yesterday confirming we will not be coming back here. Staff was swearing to her co workers when we walked in. Took minutes to even be greeted. We made an appt online. Then we were called an hour before scheduled time to move it because they claim the online system isn’t an effective way to schedule. We then waited almost 30 min to be seen after we arrived for the time that was supposed to be 45 minutes earlier than what we originally scheduled. Both vet and tech were rude and shamed us for our young puppy not being obedient the entire time while he was on a table getting shots. Every time we spoke we were interrupted and not listened to. They didn’t even appear to like working with animals so it was an odd experience to see how they interacted with our puppy. Vet was patronizing and talked to us like we were unfit to care for a dog because we were unaware of all the options for heart worm prevention. They were focused on leaving for the day and had no interest in creating a positive experience. I have gone to several banfields and have never had an experience like this. There are other locations in the area - choose another where you’ll be treated with respect.
Our daughter rescued a puppy from a neighbor who had it chained up in the backyard. Emaciated, bleeding, hookworm etc. Very bad shape indeed. She brought him to this hospital and they were very helpful the prices were sky high. She was quoted One price and then it was double for the same procedures that were quoted originally. We live in Clearwater and decided to take ownership of the puppy I needed to bring him back for his shots. After checking prices we found that the prices were double if not more. We came back the second time because of the level of emotion and they thanked us up and down for saving the puppy etcetera. The people are friendly however when my daughter asked the doctor about the prices she was told that they are high because it's a corporation. So I'm closing with the employees intentions are good but the corporate bottom line I don't believe is about the animals it's about how much money can they make. We have since checked at least five other places and the prices at Banfield are astronomical in comparison. We have since found another vet closer and more reasonable. Might want to check around and compare before setting up an appointment. Oh yeah Clover is doing fine and as they say has found his forever home. Thanks.
I’m rating this based on my experience with the staff today. I haven’t gotten either of my pets checked out here but I had a wonderful experience with the staff today. I found a lost Boston terrier Sunday afternoon im front of my house. He was old, weak, tired, hungry etc. I brought him in bathed and fed him. I posted him everywhere trying to find his owner. My husband and I work crazy hours so we couldn’t make it to a vet until today to have him scanned for a chip. I decided to go to this office because it’s very close. I was welcomed warmly by the staff who were more than willing to scan him for me. Turns out he did have a chip. They took the time to track down the family for me. The owner had actually passed so they found his son who met me there at the office. This wonderful pup was 14 yrs old and had been missing for 9 months! The son was uber excited to see Buster. Anyways I wanted to share this because I felt if it were not for the staff going above and beyond, I may have not been able to promptly reunite this little guy with his family ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have gone here for years and everyone has always been great. Recently my elderly Great Dane had a mass that was literally rotting and without surgery he would had died. They wanted $1800+, $200 for antibiotics! I explained to them that I know as a nurse there are human equivalents. They were able to call a prescription in to Walmart, cost $10. They didn't offer that option until I said it. I spoke to a friend about my dilemma regarding trying to get surgery for my beloved pet. They recommended Dr Ireland in Lakeland. I called, they saw me immediately, did the surgery that day for $1000 LESS! The staff was very nice. Although Vetcare staff are nice, they have become ridiculously expensive making you debate if you should get your pet euthanized because you can't afford their ridicuously expensive prices. I also had a pit I wanted to get his ears cut. Their price $800. I went else where, $200. They might do a Good job on your pet but they do a better job emptying your wallet.
Just brought my new 6 week old kittens to this location and to say I am amazed with the service would be an understatement. I told the staff that I chose their hospital because they had the best reviews in the area and they 100% earned them. The receptionists have great senses of humor and Dr Shaw and Pauline were informative and gentle with my kittens. As a first time pet owner I was anxious going in there but immediately felt that I was in good hands. I also overheard a conversation (without them knowing) between the vet techs introspectively reflecting on how to go above and beyond for their clients. How refreshing it was to listen to people who care not only for their business but whole heartedly for the well being of their clients and their fur babies. This hospital is a drive for me but it is so worth it. Bring yourself and your pets here, you won't find better care!
I absolutely LOVE this place! We have been going here for several years now with our three dogs and always get the best care. We have seen every doctor and they are all wonderful and the entire staff is so helpful and kind. Our regular vet is Dr. Flicker and he is the best vet I have ever been to. I recently had to take my dog in to have surgery which was performed by Dr. Flicker. My dog did great and Dr. Flicker was amazing. They took such good care of her and called me several times to let me know how she was going and Dr. Flicker called me to give me an update and called the next day to see how she was. He has such compassion for his patients and I am so grateful for him. I was an absolute mess and very emotional and he put me at ease. Thank you to everyone at Vet Care Harris, we will always bring our fur babies to you! Xoxo
We have been using this Vet 5 or more years and have always been very happy with the employees and with all the vet's that all work here! Loved them more before they became a "Banfield", but that's just part of business. They all have been so amazing, so compassionate, and so very very patient with each one of our furry children!!! Which have been both with our cats and dogs, and ages from babies to senior with various issues including check ups, emergencies, medications and diets, grooming, to helping us to escort our cherished family members across to the Rainbow Bridge! We have had other vet's in the past and have never had the wonderful experience that we always receive with Tampa Harris Vetrinary Hospital!!! Definitely recommend to your own furry loved ones!!!
I've been bringing my pets to Harris ( now Banfield) for many years. I am very comfortable with the doctors and the techs.. they are very caring, spend time with you and are good with my animals. I'm appreciative because my American Staffordshire can be a little iffy around strangers but he trusts them and I trust them with him.. Dr Flicker is very kind and excellent with our dog! I would have rated them with five stars but I am not thrilled that they are now Banfield. I don't like corporate vets or doctors offices for that matter. I wish they didn't merge or sell out to Banfield.. again, this has nothing to do with the character of the veterinarian or the staff.. it's just I don't trust corporate animal hospitals. It feels like the policies are about the $$
Never ever go here. The Dr. stole my money. I specifically said i didn't want or need an exam. I just got my puppy and had brought him to the vet 4 days before. Multiple times i stated that fact. They smiled and placated me, had my card ran thu, gave me the receipt with an office visit charge on it. And when i questioned it the man was overly rude to me. In rant tone over the question of why was I charged $98 for a simple chip. I don't care if his vet went to school for 8 years, I have a vet, 2 as a matter of fact, nether of which are her. I always have banfield chip my dogs, and it was $25 period. I wish i could give the thieves a zero DO NOT GO HERE. EVER
Great experience! I took my baby this morning. You park, call the number on the door, and they call you to get them checked in. Then a person comes out to your car (she wore a mask) and takes them inside to be seen. Then the doctor called me and discussed diagnoses and a treatment plan and I spoke with another staff who gave me plenty of options on treatment / prevention meds. They offer wellness memberships too that you pay for monthly. Then she brought my baby out to the car, got my card for payment, and brought out my receipt, lots of paper information, and his medicine. They even put 2 lollipops and 2 dog chews in the bag! :) Would recommend.
There’s not another office I’d trust my dogs with. I live in Mango and there are a lot of options between here and Hillsborough Ave, but because of they way the entire staff treats my kiddos, I wouldn’t think of going elsewhere. Drs. Flicker and Shaw are both amazing the vet techs are super nice and the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and a smile. I totally recommend this Office before other Banfields because it has less of the super corporate feel like the one in Petsmart. Also- do the health plan. So worth it. Hear them out. It’s not a gimmick. Wish I did it before my oldest dog was 9 lol
My neigbor has been taking his dogs to Harris animal hospital for 30 years, they have always been able to fit him in their schedule if he had a concern, despite having no openings! Well it’s become Banfield, a greedy corporation. They wouldn’t give him an appointment because they were booked, they told him to try other Banfields, they were booked as well, his 2 year old dog died that evening, he took it back to have it cremated, the tech handed him the ashes and wished him a nice day. Banfield is a greedy, self serving, heartless corporation with a bunch of policies and scripted bs.
I took my cat to Harris Animal Hospital. It had a terrible abscess on its neck. I was seen promptly. The female vet was sensitive, careful, and efficient. The staff friendly and considerate. Efforts were made to enable me to find the most economical option, the maximum care i could afford. It was cheaper than i had dared to hope. I received a follow up call in a couple of days to check on progress. I described what i was doing to take care and i believe i would have received a follow up advisory call if the vet had disagreed with my actions. I was entirely satisfied.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Flicker is so compassionate and awesome We were not rushed at all in deciding if she euthanize our cat. I have been to vets all over Tampa and the prices and all of the staff are wonderful I’ll never go anywhere else ever again. These people really truly do care about your pet. Also there was 0 wait. The vet saw me within 2 mins of getting there and I was squeezed in as an emergency appt.
They were great, we went there because our dog got hit by a car. They got us in as soon as we walked in the door, doctor met with us and gave us straight answers even though they weren't the ones we wanted to hear. We ultimately humanely euthenized or baby due to his injuries, but they gave us a private room and all the time we wanted to say our goodbyes. They helped us through a very difficult time and were so patient and kind.
I've been taking my 3 critters there for 17 years, when my first kittie was just a kitten. Since then I aquired a dog and another kittie, now 11 and 8 respectively. The doctors, techs and staff have never been anything but professional, personable and reliable. As my 17yo kittie is slowly but surely coming to the end of her time on this Earth and with me, there is no other place I trust with her care than Vet Care/Banfield.
Absolutely live these awesome people!!! From the first call they were kind, knowledgeable and supportive. They treated my sweet Luna kitty like a queen. She is terrified of people (she's a rescue who'd been horribly abused), very skittish except at home with momma but they were amazing with her. We are on the wellness program now and I won't ever take her anywhere else. Thank you to all thefolks at Banfield
This is the absolute best place to bring your furry loved one!! Every staff member is beyond caring and knowledgeable. They make you feel like family the moment you walk in the door, and my 3 furrbabies always receive the best quality care here. My pets and I adore the staff here so much, that even though I moved far away, I will always happily drive well over 30 minutes to come back to this facility.
Let me start by saying that not all Banfields are the same. I have used this one for over a year and couldn’t be happier. The staff is always super nice, all the vets here are amazing and will listen to all my concerns and make sure I am happy with what they are doing to my dog. They always call you the next day to see how your dog is doing. I will totally recommend THIS Banfield Vet to anyone!
I have been taking my dog here for about 3 years. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them, besides that they are always so busy (for good reason)!! Even being so busy, they always make time for you. They truly care about your pet, which is crucial because my dog is so important to me. Dr. Santos and Dr. Flicker have taken such great care of my baby and I am so thankful for them!
I love this banfield office. The staff as a whole really cares about animals. The front office crew are pleasant, I enjoy talking with Peter. I've been bringing my pets here for years, back when they were VetCare. Many of the veterinarians have been there for 20+ years so you can rest assured they have lots of experience. I always recommend friends and family to this office :-)
I just to think this was a good vet. But it seems that they becoming lazy , and dont care for your pets . I'm paying monthly for a care that they are not providing. Every time you take your dog they dont offer any solution and only try to take money without giving a good service. Keep your pets away from this place. They only take your money. It just to be a good, NOT ANYMORE.
I am new owner of a puppy and she was whining and acting irratic. I called other places and everyone was busy so I just got in the car and drove. Banfield was the first hospital I went to. They could tell I was clearly distraught and fit me in. The staff and dr were phenomenal. I felt cared for and my puppy was treated with the utmost care. I am so happy to have stopped here.
I can not say how great all these people are here... very personal touch, they care about your fur baby n Dr. Santos has to be the best veterinarian I have ever had. She saved my dogs life, her knowledge and never giving up hope is why my little buddy Minnie is still here... I cant thank her and the team at VatCare/Banfield enough for all they did to save my best friend
The 5 star rating is definitely for the care, staff and Dr. Flicker. They are all amazing. The wellness plan seems to go up ever year $5-$10. I think it is now time for one person to be able to come in with their fur baby. I am over the drop off and waiting in the car business. I am sure the staff is, too. Again, the 5 star rating goes to the care, staff and Dr. Flicker!
I hope you guys aren't paying the receptionist. I called to schedule my Pup an eye exam and I was given very dry answers. When I asked about availability today she said there's nothing, when I asked about tomorrow I was told "all booked up" and wasn't offered any other day so yeah we won't be going there even if there were availability I don't trust it.
Friendly, kind, caring, patient, compassionate, attentive, knowledgeable, responsive, cooperative (actually "partner" with you, as the fur-parent)... Just a great place to take my furbaby! It is clear they truly love their profession, and enjoy their jobs. Dr. Harris is wonderful! (And Peter, Sheila, and Pauline make it all the better. :) Thank you!
Sort of friendly. But way expensive. The doctor even explained they are double the amount than "mom and pop vets" because they are a big corporation. I was charged $415 for an issue that normally cost me around $150 at other vets. However, the doc did take a new route with hopefully fixing my dog's problem, which I appreciated. Won't be going back.
Staff was friendly and professional, The DVM was excellent! They were kind and understanding that Louie was a excitable dog, because of Louie's breed he hasn't always been treated kindly and Banfield treated him kindly and they were understanding,Which is something that hasn't happened in the past. We will be back for all of Louie's future care.
Love Banfield itself the staff but the corporate aspect - Pre warning anyone if your on a wellness program and your bank rejects the payment even if you make the payment again the same day (on the due date) your charged a 20$ fee. I guess you’d say that’s a bit harsh after you’ve already charged me 600$ for a spay. Lol so be careful!
I travel all over the country and have frequented many banfields' due to my dogs' cronic conditions. Dr Flicker is by far one of my most favorite vets. He works with you to help your dog and seems to truly respect and want your input as to the treatment of your dog. Great doctor, we will definitely see him again when in that area!
My 1st time there was 6 weeks ago, My Lexi did pass 4 weeks later, But the staff, both veterinarians I worked with showed compaction, understanding and was not into if for the money, I have looked a long time for the right vet, Not IF but When I get a new dog I have my Vet picked out, Outstanding Staff! Thank you all!
I adopted a rescue that ended up having heartworm. Absolutely broke my heart. Dr Coen and her team were fantastic from day one and now my baby is happy and healthy! I can't thank them enough for their care and professionalism. Despite all of that trauma, my doggo is always excited to see them. That's how you know.
0/10 would not recommend taking your furry friend to this dirty Banfield location. My poor puppy came home with fleas after visiting for his vaccinations. Adding salt to the wound, they "accidentally" cancelled his prescription for flea/heart-worm prevention in an attempt to upset their own products. Despicable
The staff and vet were great but their corporate billing is awful. We moved in Oct of 2018 and called to cancel. The vet's office said we were all set. We then found out months later we were still getting billed. They would not reimburse us for any of the monthly dues even though we didnt go to the vet at all.
Every staff member that I’ve interacted with here has always been extremely kind and helpful. I’ve heard mixed reviews about Banfield in general but my experience at this location has been great! They’ve been extremely helpful with both of my cats. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a vet.
The staff was great. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and was able to get my cat the annual vaccinations she needed. Although they try persistently to upsell different treatments/wellness packages, they respected my requests to only have certain treatments performed. Thank you.
Best vet in the Seminole Heights area. My dog is plagued with issues and they always find a way to get her in and take really good care of her. They also are a Banfield vet so if you have a Banfield plan....you save even more $$. Excellent doctors and staff. I cannot say enough about them!
Incredible staff! Came to this location with an emergency, and they were incredibly caring and prompt even though it was near the end of the day! They were super understanding with my dog, and allowed me to stay with her through all the treatment. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!
Super friendly staff and overall great experience. Let us put up a poster when our dog was lost and gave us a bunch of helpful tips. Once we found her they were quick to let me make a same day appointment and get her checked out. Switching them to my main vet immediately.
Never a bad wait time. The staff is friendly and responsive. Results are provided quickly. It seems like everyone there really cares about the well being of your fur babies. It's easy to get an appointment and the prices aren't incredibly high. Definitely recommend!!
First visit to Banfield this morning. My kitty had a wound on his face and they fit me in quickly as a new patient. Dr. made reasonable recommendations, updated his shots, and showed that they cared. Excellent staff and was very impressed. Found my new vet.
Pushing people on the website everytime they ask a question when they call is bad business I understand everything is moving digital but dang can you at least have human communication...I haven't even made an appointment yet and got pushed away ...smh
So I've been taking my dog to this vet for about 2 years now and I'm so thankful I found them. The staff is amazing and they truly care for your pet. I'm always worried about leaving my dog with others (I'm very overprotective) but I trust them 100%.
Helping my 17 yr old son Roberto & I maximize quality of life for our wonderful 12 yr old cat " Chuck" & our 11 yr old " Max" a Havanese bred , all the way from Cuba, Havanese dog. Must LOVE.... …
I have taking all my pet here at this location since it was name Harris now it is Bentfield Pet Hospital. They still have several of the old employees there. The staff is very kind and my little dog Royalty loves trying to give them all kisses
Made an appointment at 8a, advised to arrive 15 min early. Arrived, no one here until a few min before 8a. My appt was made for a growth in the ankle... no appt reminder call, no communication that there's no surgeons at this location, and
Usually have a pretty good experience but this time they charged me an exam fee just for a rabies shot which they did tell me about in advance, however for whatever reason my doggie didn't like them and got aggressive so they could not
Good luck getting advice or help in urgent situation, you would think this being an animal hospital they would be able to help you with out an appointment but take a number and wait for those unexpected emergency’s to be planned.
I made an appointment online, and received an email confirmation for it. When I arrived, they didn't have any record of it. I showed them the confirmation, and they told me that next time I should call to make an appointment.
If you have a bad experience from another Banfield location I really recommend you try this location, the staff is very friendly, the doctor was great and I had a very pleasant experience with my pet Luna!!! 10/10
Great experience. Dropped Lila off. She got her shots, was checked out, got a clean bill of health and she gave it a 4 claws rating. 5 claws would include a massage for her and me and 30 mins on the tanning bed.
I had gone when it was Vet Care for many years. It was never the same after Banfield bought them out. Appointments were set every 15 minutes. I never felt comfortable. I would never recommend them to anyone.
The people here are wonderful. They really made me and my dog feel really comfortable about everything they were doing concerning my dog's vaccinations. Very friendly staff, had a wonderful experience.
Been going here when it was Harris clinic the service is very good however for senior citizens on a fix income their prices is really to high and my dog can only get what I can afford which isn't much.
Dr Coen and staff murdered my healthy 8 year old cat. They recommended a dental cleaning and gave him too much anesthesia. Malpractice, negligence, incompetence. They gave no apologies, only excuses.
Just got to say Peter and the morning staff that were there on 8/26/2022 @ 8 am made me feel Welcomed and i made my Dogs feel Welcomed treatment was well worth the trip Amen …
Dr Flicker treats the members of our family like his own, always giving us a thorough explanation of the available options without pressuring us into an “up sell”. Can’t recommend them enough!!!
During the COVID19 quarantine, it was drop-off and pick-up for my formerly feral outdoor cat with an upper respiratory infection. Dr. Flicker called to follow-up that evening. Positive outcome.
Love the groomers the only one that I could find to bath my dog and cut his nails just because he is a pitbull no one else would let him in because he does not do well with man or other dogs
I visited the Hillsborough location. They were not taking any walkins after speaking with the receptionist she said come they took care of my pet within 10 mins I was on my way back home
Had my two dogs teeth cleaned. Both had to have teeth pulled. The doctor called to explain and was able to do cleaning and the extraction. What a difference it made in their breath.
I've been going here for around 2 years and have had nothing but first-class service. They are super patient with my big, skittish dog and I'm confident I'm in good hands with them.
The people here handle your fur baby with care. They make sure the things you need are precisely what your baby may need. Great with appointments & emergencies. Highly recommended.
Love this place!! Always helpful and you can tell they truly care about the animals. It's not just a job for them. I've been going to this group of veterinarians for over 30 years.
They are the best Vet I've ever been to, I was so happy when they became Banfield and I could start taking my animals there more regularly. Highly recommend, they love your pets!
I really appreciate their help with my pets. I am fixing to make a nice contribution to the indigent pet fund; I am so grateful for all that Banfield Pet Hospital did for me.
Drs. and staff is very cheerful, helpful, really take the time to explain all your pets needs and follow up with a phone call to check on your pet after a procedure is done.
Nice staff but INSANELY overpriced. Went in for annual check up and shots for 2 dogs. Bought a 6-month supply of flea medication and medicated shampoo. I was charged $500.
The staff at this location is 5 stars for sure. The front desk is very welcoming and sweet and the vet technicians are always kind with my two dogs. We love Dr Flicker!
Great, caring staff that have been there for a long time! (That says a lot about any business). This includes all the doctors, technicians and the front office people.
Always helpful, reasonably priced. They've always been great with my cats and allow me to decide what treatments are reasonable and best for my pets' quality of life.
They have great doctors and staff I been with them a very long time I wouldn't go to know one else my pets get good care here and have friends that come here as well
Super friendly! They explained everything in a way I could understand and they offered me a really affordable health plan for my puppy. I'm a very pleased fur mom!
They are fantasic. I have 3 dogs on plans and board there. They always go above and beoynd. Vets, techs, and front are all friendly and awesome each time we go in.
I have done business with this vet. hospital for many years. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. I enjoy doing business with them.
We have a severely allergic dog who is no stranger to the vet and these guys are amazing! They listen and are patient and understanding. Highly recommended!
Great compassion and understanding for our girl Sugar when the painful decision to let her go their warmth and understanding helped our family heal.
Our cat Rusty has been going to Banfield for 18 years and they have helped him through some tough times but he's still with us and very loveable.
I have been using them for 20 plus years and they are like family. They take good care of my pets, and very professional. And caring.
Thanks Dr. Stantos, My dog Ohana, is doing good. No more fleas, skin is improving & she doesn't smell like old corn chips any more.
So professional and took great care of our dog! Patient, easy check in and check out and super informative. Thank you so much!

They take wonderful care of our dogs. The staff is fantastic with them and I trust they are in good hands when we go in.
Dr. Santos is amazing! She explains everything so well. The staff is caring and comforting. I can ask for a better vet.
Great staff and a very well run office. I've been taking my pets here for years and cannot imagine using any one else.
I have been coming here for years. Took a new kitten for first visit. They are always very friendly and professional.
Love this place! Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating, and they take the best care of our pup!
Very kind staff. Fairly quick considering Covid Precautions. Could have done better cutting my pups nails.
Love all the Vets, they care about your animal. My stray had an abscess and they got him taken care of.
They're the best! I've taken my pup there since I got him, when he was only 2 pounds and 6 weeks old.
Upsell, cross sell … it’s all about the money. It’s a corporate pet healthcare mill. Understaffed.
They have always been super helpful. My family has been taking our pets there for atleast 20years.
I love this location! Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring with my baby, Bentley!
