Teller (as in one for the 10 people in here at a time) is always friendly, but there needs to be more than one. it's not like BOA can't afford another. I actually go to this BOA because the one on Stassney Ln. near my house has a wait that is usually twice as bad. If you are coming here expect to sit in line a while. I use a credit union as well. it sits about a mile and a half away and my girlfriend uses a different credit union a few blocks away. 5 minute wait either credit union. The problem is not that the area is too busy or anything of that nature. BOA simply does not care about their account holders or the workload of the people they employ. Need more proof they don't care, look at the literally dozens of reviews all complaining about the same problem. A problem that has persisted for years. Every complaint is about not having enough tellers, or staff being rude (because they are dealing with too many people). If they cared they would have looked at these and fixed the problem. Instead they give a disingenuous apology message and act like it is some great mystery or force beyond their control. It is not. Bank somewhere where they do not act like they are doing you a favor when your money goes into their bank. Don't pay for checking and don't pay predatory overdraft fees.
I opened a new account with them at this location the lady was very nice of course I was opening a new account. I went back to make a deposit the lady at the counter said why are u making a deposit with me why not use the atm? (In a rude way like I was bothering her) I said does it really matter how I want to deposit my money isn’t that what u are here for? Than I proceeded to ask some questions about my account she acted like it was just to much for her. Rude staff I am switching banks asap. There were 3 more angry customers before me saying they were going ti switch also . All she kept telling them was couldn’t help to call the number on the card or just being plain rude !!! Not even worth 1 star terrible location.
The Bank of America building is not pretty. The person that helped me open an account when I closed my Chase account seemed helpful. She seemed to get that it might not be the right bank for me even though I felt forced to open an account there. I feel scared to use my card because I’m afraid of it. There were alot of Latino families that looked like they needed quick loans in the lobby but I’m not trying to assume anything. I haven’t spoken to a teller aside from once when I depositrd a check. The security gaurds outside of The building looked like they were beaten with sticks. I don’t want to do anything but use a bank like a normal person. I’m not okay with any lies.
Sent one of our employees to the bank for $621 in change but only received back $611 in change. After paying our employee mileage reimbursement for the initial trip to the bank as well as their time waiting in line for service, 30 minutes, I thought the shortage could be resolved with a simple phone call. My mistake; no one at this location picked up the phone even after repeatedly dialing the branch for 20 minutes between 3:20pm - 3:40pm. Now, we have to make a 2nd trip to the bank, pay our employee for additional mileage and their time waiting in line a 2nd time and it's all for $10. Shame on you Bank of America.
The security officer is extremely rude and has no people skills. I was trying to check in for an appointment when he approached me saying I was cutting in line and when I told him I was there for an appointment he made a noise and gestured in the direction all this with attitude for no reason I’m extremely nice polite person. So professional and a great image for people immediately when they walk in. Surely there was a better way to approach this. This is twice I’ve been to this location and he has been this way. Will not be using this location again. More than likely will changing banks.
This is not even my bank, but my landlord makes me go deposit rent here. This location in particular sees tons of traffic, including a cross section of Austin's crazy, interesting people. If you have an hour to waste or want to people watch, come in on a Saturday morning, especially the first of the month. Otherwise, try online banking. To the credit of the staff working here, they are polite, helpful and do their best with a really slooooooow moving clientele. Just terribly understaffed. I walked in last Saturday and the wait was at least 90 minutes long. I just laughed and left.
I moved from Spain a year ago, and Bank of America was the first and only bank that made things easier for me to start in a new country. I’m seeing very bad reviews, not sure why, every time I go to this location, the waiting time is not that long, depending on how many people is waiting there, they always help me with the problems I have, and also, Monica (don’t know her surname) she’s always there to help, always with a big smile and always giving good advices. I have nothing bad to say about this location and their staff.
Worst service of any bank I've ever been to. Not only at this location, but also at the one I used to have to use in LA.! Now in Austin, this branch never has enough staff, has misplaced deposits and payments I've made twice, and I'm now sitting in the drive thru to drop off a simple payment for over 30 mins... Just kept thinking for sure the person in front of me would finish soon, as there is only 1 line ever open.!! They're a huge corporation that makes more than enough to properly staff their locations. Unacceptable.
Horrible service only one teller working while the others walk off while the line is growing. They don't have money orders, and wanted to charge me 15.00$ for a cashier's check when they didn't offer checks to me when opening my account. Then when your finally up to the the tellers the guy at the podium tries to hurry the teller, and I never get everything done or questions answered while there very very poor customer services. If my company didn't bank with them I would choose a different branch.
Horrible bank, horrible customer service. Glad I bank with Wells Fargo, and I never thought I would say that. 10 people in line and only one person at the desk, meanwhile as soon as she needs help 3 other ladies come from the back office for one problem then disappear again into the back. This place needs to get there act together. If I had an account and wasn't just doing a deposit into someone else's, I would have withdrawn everything and closed my account on the spot!
I went thier to order another debit card for my wife ,but the service was not good, I asked one of the guys working thier his name is Kevin Garcia he was putting his hand on his Puckett and talking to me very rude I told him my wife she doesn't speak a good English thats why we are here ,but he said u have to call customer service or came back another day, even the branch was open and they were only 2 people front of me ,he was not professional at all I really feel bad .
Terrible, rude, insulting, and unjust are just a few words that come to mind. The teller treated me like a criminal even though I have been a customer of BofA without issue for over 6 years and I have never even so much as had an overdraft fee. Then they put a hold on the cashiers check I tried to deposit (only telling me unexpectedly 8 hours later), what’s the point of a cashiers check if you’re going to put a 10 day hold on the funds??
The staff here are very friendly. But Bank of America has understaffed this location to the point where they absolutely NEVER answer the phone. And you have to come in in person to make an appointment to see a banking consultant. So let's recap. You drive there just to get an appointment to drive back later to see someone. Lines for even the teller are often stretched back to the front door. Bank of America needs to be better at this.
I'm not one to write reviews about banks, especially a national bank, as I prefer credit unions, but since I am moving out of state soon I figured I'd open an account. This bank is connected to a juvenile center, to my surprise. However my experience was nothing but pleasant! Monica took care of me within 20 minutes and was really fun to chat with as she filled out my information.
GOOD THINGS TO SAY: Randomly stopped by this branch to get notarized. Elizabeth Serrano was super helpful and I recommend to make appointments with her for all your banking needs. BAD THINGS TO SAY: I noticed this branch is under staffed and people waiting for longer compared to other branches I visited. One teller for whole branch on 12/26 to be specific.
The worst service! Regardless of wait times, they are extremely under staffed. I desperatly needed a debit card replacement and arrived 20 minutes before closing time. I was told they were too busy and we’re about to make me leave anyway because they’re closing. Obviously, I can’t say this about other branches but this one is terrible.
I've been trying all week to talk to a person to order international currency, but they NEVER answer the phone. I know if I wait til the weekend (the only time I can go in because "banking hours" are more ridiculous than Dr hours they will say "they didn't have enough notice to order the currency." Please answer your phone!!!!
This is the closest branch to where I live. Every time I had to go in to see the cashier, there was only one person working there (always in a bad mood) with a line of at least 7-8 people. Every time I try to talk to the cashier here it takes about 30 minutes. Overall, they have terrible customer service at this branch!
I was charged $8 for cashing a check of $100 with the most disgusting attitude They have tattooed people attending and wearing jeans I remember the good old times when the banks took care of you they offered a cup of coffee and had a smile Today these corporate banks make you feel like your money is theirs.
The manager is very helpful and educated. He is dealing with his customers in compassionate and professional way. I saw the reviews on this bank and some of them are true, and I faced some problems but the manager solved the issue immediately. I recommend talking to the manager if you guys have any issue.
This is the worst BoA branch I’ve ever been to. They take forever and just to get a deposit/change transaction done takes 45 minutes. When you’re a commercial business, this time matters! Why don’t they have a drive thru? This is completely ridiculous for a bank to be lacking this service.
Our first banking experience in America as we have just moved here. Our decision to use Bank of America was justified by the superb service at this branch provided by Monica. Very helpful and efficient. Not to mention pleasant. She is a real asset to the company. Couldn’t be happier.
If I could give this bank zero stars I would Bank of America likes to hit people with $35 overdraft fees, even when there is money in the account and deposits are pending. When you get hit with five in a single day that is too far, me and my family will be taking our money elsewhere.
Don’t even deserve 1 star. Customer service is horrible, managers don’t care, tellers are rude. Wait time is over an hour, the Drive -thru is permanently closed , there’s NO signs that it’s out of service. Negative employees and bad management are what causes business to close.
Horrific experience with this bank and this branch. Incompetent staff and an obtuse branch manager, which is where the utter lack of communication and education starts. Won't bank here ever again. Moved to BBVA down the street and have had a wonderful experience.
Hi, Grecia the manager waited on my brother and I. After we waited 45 minutes in the waiting area. She helped my brother get a new debit card. She was very helpful, patient and understanding. We truly appreciate her assistance. Thank you, Rose and Pat R.
This branch has a phone but they choose not to answer it. I have been trying to get them to answer for over 15 minutes. The Bank of America web site is down for scheduling appointments too. I guess it is time to find a new bank to do business with.
Worst branch EVER !!!! Thry are rude the manager Roman are really rude , he told me he could not help me because he need it to manage the bank , he was standing looking at the door doing nothing !!!! Every time I go someone is complaining
They have an aisle and a sign for business clients. I enter and wait. 3 people go ahead of me in the other line. Then Im informed to wait in that line. I would happily have waited from the beginning. 20 minutes later. 1 teller
Just another and slow service with bad attitude customer service yessss it is Bank of America is a big line and just one teller wowwww other wise I have to use this location please be more fast and reliable team thank you!!!!
Horrible line. I came at 11 thinking the line complaints were from a lunch crowd. No, just a complete lack of staff. First time I've gone into a physical BOA branch in a long time and this was a huge waste of my time.
Incompetent staff, I have never been treated so poorly. This bank cannot do the simplest function which is to cash a check. Never had an issue with Bank of America until I met with this awful group. Do not go here!
Account opening was super smooth. All the staff are super helpful especially Yazmin who helped step by step and answered all my questions during opening a new account. PS: Not sure why there are such bad reviews.
I feel like this place is ran by people who have no idea what they are doing on top of being rude. I get it, 1 teller and a bunch customers come in at once, I'll be mad also. This the normal for this branch. SMH
People's accounts are still getting hacked into and money being stolen from customers and these people at Bank of America do not insure or protect your money, and are telling me there is nothing they can do.
Awful and rude people. I have never had a more awkward drawn out wait for a lazy banker to decide to verify my check so I can continue to wait in line for the one cashier to cash it. How do they have jobs?
Worst customer service ever. Last two times I visited this location has helped my decision to move our business account to another bank. Save yourself time money and headaches and bank anywhere but here.
Si pudiera dar 0 estrellas las doy un mal servicio es imposible que sin un pasaporte teniendo cuenta en este banco teniendo otra identificación no puedan ayudar a los usuarios con cualquier del banco
I asked to close my savings account, which the associate did but stated she had to deduct a penny from my then empty savings account, which I was charged an overdraft fee the next day...
The staff was so rude. I lost my card and my phone (unable to call) and they only give me a number to call they dind help me at all. Starting from the manager.... Bad bad bad service
I've called this branch approximately 50 times over the past 10 days, never once did anyone answer the phone. I walk into the branch, and employees are sitting around chatting.
I actually don't understand the negative reviews. We were attended very friendly, all our questions have been answered and we did not had to wait long. Very friendly staff
This is first time, I been doing business with BOA more then 3 but “roxy” here told me that this branch only does not take more then 3 deposit in a day Haahhhhhhhh??
High wait times, poor customer service, unable to help with small requests. I don’t recommend anyone use Bank of America but if you do avoid this location at all costs
Bank of america has some of the worst service Ive recieved from a bank. They didnt want to cash my check without charging me a 6 dollar fee. I would not recommend it.
No drive through and there has been only one person at the desk for 4 months now time tired of standing outside. Hire more people. Fix your location . Or shut it down
Bank of America will maintain a funds hold for a week after you’ve canceled an order online with a vendor. Then you just have to work around it if money is tight.
Why isn't there more then one teller. The lines are to long include the wait as well. They need to come up with a better system. Management is the blame. Fix it.
With covid social disctancing and summer with temp of more than 90F they should put some umbrellas outside. You dont want your client get skin cancer right?
I used the drive through atm and the curb scraped up the bottom of my car. They need to fix the that area it’s literally a accident waiting to happen
Listed hours are until 2pm on Saturday. I got there at 1:50 and all the lanes and lobby were closed. Tried to call and they never pick up the phone.
I went in looking to open up a business checking account. The teller seemed rude and abrupt so I decided not to open account and left immediately.
The place was very clean; the staff was very organized and polite; and I got my matter resolved in less than 10 minutes. I was very impressed.
I don't understand why they shortened the hours of the drive-through. As soon as it will be necessary to print new checks, I'm out of there!
2 tellers on a Friday, line is 10 people deep. 3 employees walking around the lobby or standing in front of podium doint nothing.
Worse service ever, this location couldn't even help with resetting a pin and their customer service phone line is ridiculous.
Cordial, friendly and well meaning but simply not competent for business banking. Go elsewhere. No review as to consumer side.
Para mí asido el mejor servicio me tratan como familia todos de todos los malos comentarios no entiendo porque la gente es asi
I had to wait for 1h after my scheduled appointment time! But then I received really good treatment. So mixed feelings.
Worst bankers ever would not cash a Bank of America check without charging $8. The staff was very unhelpful and rude.
Terrible. Extremely slow service, understaffing, and just no need for this branch to even exist. Go somewhere else.
Tried to cash a check..... wanted to charge me $8.00... even though the check was written from that bank!
They never have enough tellers. Expect a long wait time. Time to finally switch to a local credit union.
Unbeleivable wait times (more than 2 hours) both times I've been here. Avoid this place like the plague.
Always dread the experience coming here. Never surprised they keep the lines long and the service at D+
Switching to Chase. I've had BoFA for 15 years and their customer service has continually gotten worse
Vary bad service at this location, they need more workers here.. bad attitude and very disrespectful!
The worst bank in the world Not professional all, I’m not going to deal whit this bank anymore
You’re bound to run into an interesting cast of characters at this bank… That’s all I’ll say
Always the best customer service bar none in America! I wouldn't bank anywhere else ever!
Terrible customer service I was on the phone for 30 minutes and I couldn’t talk to anyone
Long lines with one worker helping. Others just sit in their office on the cell phone.
So many people , nobody working… waiting in line for people to get their act together
Difficult to cash a Check, they close @ 4pm !?!?! It is to early for working people.
Muy lento y muy mal servicio al cliente en lo que se refiere a soporte técnico.
No one answers the phone at any location....I been trying all day. They suck.
Probably the worst customer service experience in the United States. Avoid.
Bank of America is a very lame institution. The operating hours are a joke!
Waiting for over 28 minutes for open a bank account? Choose another bank!!!
Zero stars would be too many. Understaffed and they make it your problem.
Great staff, sucks though no drive through. Staff help make it better.
Never open during office hours called the store no answer
Homero Salas is nice and kind, provides good service.
Great customer service, fast and easy. Very helpful
They have great team, everyone just want to help
It was excellent with Shela at Bank of America.
Avoid this bank and location like the plague
HORRIBLE BANK HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Never too busy but closes early, 4pm
I wish it was open later than 4pm .
Very helpful and polite staff
Worst customer service ever.
won't answer their phone..
They have such nice cadre
Friendly staff
Long lines
