My flight home from vacation was cancelled and after a stressful rescheduling, I found myself in a yayover at Nashville. This coffee made it worth it. I’d almost say it was fate. Barista Parlor made one of the best mochas I have ever had. I only had a mocha, so I can’t give any advice on food or drip coffee, but I think you should try this drink. The espresso was great and the syrup wasn’t too sweet. It had the perfect balance of bitter and sweet that I love. If I were you, and happened to be in the Nashville airport, I would give this drink a try. If you don’t like it, I’ll take the blame, but I’m willing to bet you will at least enjoy it! The barista that was there when I passed through was great also, had to tell him how good the drink was. Safe travels to you all!

I've been debating leaving this review, because the baristas are so kind and I love having a third-wave coffee option in the airport! With tip, I spent $20.00 for a 12 oz standard latte and a severely undercooked breakfast sandwich (as in, the bacon looked almost raw). I spent 30 minutes in line to be duped once again. Every time I say I'm going to give them another chance, I always remember why I shouldn't. I've tried this spot many times, and as far as drinks goes, it's a good spot (can be really overpriced, but I get it, airport prices), but y'all really REALLY need to figure out your hot food situation, 'cause this isn't it.

If I could rate the coffee, it would be 5 stars. BP is a local roaster with a few other locations in town and having them in the airport is great! Unfortunately, this airport location doesn’t not reflect how BP is anywhere else in town. Customer service is lacking, expressly long wait times (even when only one other customer was there besides me), menu extremely limited (good or bad?), prices not justified - waaaay overpriced for everything. Company has a good rep and the design is great. Sad that they underdelivered here. The best alternative: 8th & R which is located a little earlier in the same terminal.
The line was long but it wasn't to long of a wait, which was a pleasant surprise. The lady working the counter was pleasant and nice. She explained the flavors to me, since it seemed alittle odd it was mixed with a liquor, but reassured me you didn't taste the alcohol it was to enhance the flavor of my caramel. Which she was right, the guy making my coffee did an awesome job. He added the caramel to the hot espresso and the whisked it together. That won me over.. Im like yes someone understands my love for coffee. It tasted yummy! It was totally worth the $6 bucks for an 8oz. (2 shots of espresso and milk)
The coffee itself was of (perhaps)slightly better than average quality. With that said my receipt was not provided or offered by a regester clerk who was notable for lack of cleanlinessstandards. My eclair was not included with my coffee, as I was told that I would get it at the end of the counter. When it didn't come with my dried out mini breakfast biscuit with no discernible cheese, I asked for it. The clueless backroom enployee then microwaved it for some unknown reason, leaving it an inedible gooey mess. Avoid like the bubonic plague for anything other than coffee when you can't get that elsewhere.
Okay, this place is something to celebrate! A true third wave coffee shop in an airport does not happen everywhere, so I’m pretty thankful when I can get a single origin pour over! The staff are friendly and patient. I know some people think the prices are a little much, but honestly their pricing is pretty similar for any third wave coffee shop. Additionally the prices are pretty comparable to FiveBucks (Starbucks) around the corner where the coffee has had the life roasted out of it and is covered up with a weeks worth of sugar. This place just makes my day when I get to fly out of C Terminal at BNA.
Barista Parlor’s Germantown location is my neighborhood cafe and I love them so I naturally inclined towards them at the BNA airport. I tried to order Everything bagel with cream cheese but they were out of cream cheese and recommended I get butter instead. When I received my order, they gave me toasted bagel with separate butter cups that were not room temperature; it was so hard to spread it on the go with the bagel crumbs falling all over. It made for a messy to-go food. Blueberry muffin was good.

Ok. I can say I am a fan of this local coffee shop chain. And the latte i got at the airport was excellent. However, the food is not what they are charging. I can say the food is MORE than worth the price fixed fresh at their other locations. But the reheated biscuits are terrible at the airport. Honestly, the price and the quality is so out of wack, the chain is doing a disservice to themselves even offering food in the airport. Because if i was not a nashville local and the food i was served at the airport, i would never bother patronizing any of their locations again.
You may be walking to your gate and notice the Starbucks line is too long so decide to try this place because the line is short. There's a reason why nobody comes here. $13 for a Jimmy dean breakfast sandwich and a 16 oz coffee. The 16oz coffee is $5 and tastes like garbage. These people are charging more for a 16oz trash coffee than Starbucks charges for their venti. Think about that. The sandwich sucks and the coffee tastes terrible. Go to burger king right down the hall next time. If I could give them zero stars I would.
They have filtered coffee, so I asked if I could smell the coffee and was given 4 samples of the bean variety. It seems they don’t have good toasting process on the beans as 2/4 tasted burnt (remember I tried the beans raw), I recommend the Kabiufa beans for the filtered coffee. The coffee temperature was on spot, well prepared. Didn’t dare to try food because of other reviews. 5 stars because it’s the best coffee you can get at an airport.

Kendalynn made my trip to Barista Parlor awesome. What an example of exceptional customer service! She provided me with lengthy and expert descriptions of the different types of pour over coffee while I was deciding, and she did not lead me astray! Kendalynn was patient, kind, high energy and everything a great barista should be. So refreshing!!! And really incredible coffee. Best customer service experience I've had in quite some time.

The one star is for outstanding drip coffee, which I was able to get fairly quickly. Everything else about this place is not airport compatible. Had to leave behind my wife’s $7 latte because it took over 15 minutes and we had to board our flight. Very long line of upset customers and a very casual but pleasant “no hurry” staff. Hate to leave a bad review but BNA sorely lacks other coffee options and this one is not a good fit for an airport, where people are on a timeline.
Ordered sausage egg cheese biscuit. Waited as 3 customers got their orders and then baristas just chit-chatting. Finally had to ask for my order - said it was being prepared in the back. One went back and several minutes later it came out. Missing cheese. When I requested cheese, I was told it was cooked in egg. It wasn’t. Bone dry. Was just microwaved then stuck in foil. Avoid the food! Didn’t try the coffee.
After a stressful day of 2 canceled flights and check-ins, the friendly service and really great coffee saved my day. Got the iced honey lavender latte, was really smooth with a balanced floral note from the syrup. Little pricey but worth it for an airport IMHO. Located next to gate C-22. Highly recommend you stop by!

I never expect greatness or cheap food from airport restaurants but this was well below average. I couldn't finish the $8 biscuit because it tasted like it had been frozen and then microwaved multiple times until it had just given up on being a biscuit. Is there a hotline or nonprofit that we can report cruelty to biscuits? Someone call them and end their suffering. At least the staff was friendly.
Great friendly service! I had no idea what to try but I really loved the mocha. It’s a dark bittersweet chocolate to die for and those vegan HIFI cookies are sinfully delicious. I also really love that everything you guys sell is local, I think its important for local businesses to support each other.

I don't really check ratings for the airport because you need coffee what else are you going to do. I'm surprised this is low, my service was out of this world. Giant line but the girl never lost her smile . I work in customer service and it's tough to keep positive when you're that busy, kudos! Give that girl a raise , she had glasses and was working the register at 8 am 9/22 !
We ordered a vanilla iced coffee and it tasted like sweet tea. We took it back and they told us it was coffee. I think they accidently swapped them but it's obvious its sweet tea unless their coffee looks red. This was what it looked like in the sunlight.

Take a hard pass on Barista Parlor at BNA if you want serious coffee. No dark roast and their Americano was way too watered down - might as well have been a mild roast coffee. They do get credit for having a gluten-free muffin option and being open at 4am

Fantastic light Ethiopian roast cappuccino. Blueberry, milk chocolate notes. Even got a little latte art out of it. The crew was really nice and accommodating in answering my questions about the beans and source. Even took their book out and looked up the beans and the profiles. So happy to have real coffee in BNA terminal.
I ordered a cappuccino because I come from Seattle and like snobby coffee. The espresso shot they pulled was better than my local spot back home. They make their own carmel rather than buying that syrup in a pump. Got a chocolate croissant that was very good as well. Employees were kind to me and place looked very clean.
Ordered a drip coffee and a double shot of espresso. Typically airport coffee doesn’t stand out. But WOW! The double shot of espresso may be the best quality of coffee and best pulled shot that I have ever enjoyed. Kudos to the barista team!

Undeniably the worst (breakfast) burrito that I've ever tasted. Large clump of "egg" on a tortilla. Seemingly nothing else including any seasoning. Inedible. $11.00 in the trash.

Cashier was nice, the other 3 employees were talking in the back, handed me a cold bagel after waiting for 5 minutes with no line. I asked if they had a toaster and they knodded their heads and handed me a soggy bagel. Clearly it was microwaved. Coffee was scoulding hot I asked them to put an ice cube in it.
Got a chamomile tea and cookie from here. I can’t remember the employee’s name (I believe she had bangs and last name starts with a D) but she was sooo friendly and helpful!! She was telling us all about the benefits of the pour-over technique and turned it into a fun little experience :)
Barista Parlor is the best coffee, especially in the airport! Kendalynn is an awesome manager, and everyone working here is just immaculate vibes all around. Go get a latte and then drink it in the sky. What’s not to like?

Trying to choke down a dry lemon pound cake (at least it had a lemon flavor) before my flight ( warming it may have softened it. Maybe).Had hoped to wash it down with a good mocha. Not today. Flavorless. Donating to the nearest trash bin and looking for something edible.
Coffee is good but young woman with glasses was very rude and passive aggressive. Had to actually call her out on it so bad. Review so hopefully management can coach her. We all have bad days, just need to work on better release of whatever is frustrating her in life...
First time at Nashville Airport and First time getting a coffee from here and I really loved their coffee. I got a whiskey carmel espresso iced and I loved it. I wished I could get this in mb. Didn't enjoy the price for the size but I understand that's airport prices.
Worst and coolest hot chocolate I've ever attempted to drink. Muffin was meh at best. On a positive note, service was very good.

The food was a massive disappointment. I’ve been to every BP location in Nashville and it’s always amazing, but my breakfast biscuit was way below average here.. I was shocked. Definitely not the quality of the real stores for food- Coffee is solid of course.
Stopped by here on my way back home from a family trip and absolutely loved their drinks! I had the Honey Bourbon latte and my mom tried the Mocha. I wish there were some out on the west coast!

Driest egg biscuit I've ever had.....by far, for $11?! Next time I'll ask for cardboard instead of the biscuit. Had to throw it away. Coffee was luke warm. Everything was flavorless. Please take the advice, skip this place by ALL MEANS.
Probably the best airport coffee that I know of, makes me look forward or to connecting in Nashville. I don't care how rude the people are as long as the coffee is good. And the employees are actually nice. They make a proper cortado.
Very disappointed in the quality of coffee received, please clean your carafes. 12oz Espreeso was good, but so hot, you burn fingers & couldn't hold the paper thin cup, NO cup wraps availble to offer. Need Starbucks reopened ASAP!
I ordered a 12oz mocha latte. Worst coffee I've ever had. So bitter I could barely drink it but at $8.19, I'm going to. That's $8 I will never get back!

The BNA Barista Parlor is a wonderful stop in before a flight! Wonderful espresso beautifully crafted by talented baristas. Everyone I encountered was cheerful, knowledgeable and kind. 5 stars no complaints.
Biscuit was tiny. Supposed to be egg and cheese but they forgot the cheese. Obviously microwaved it half to death. It was hard. Latte was good though.

Who thought you’d see the day a barista parlor was in the airport haha. Great coffee probably the best in the airport. At least if you’re looking for actual coffee not an glorified chocolate milk.

Their “espresso + milk” is a latte but they can make it a cappuccino if you specify. The 4oz is perfect for those who prefer more European style cappuccinos.

Easily the worst sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit I’ve ever purchased. One bite and in the trash. Do better.
