I used to be a regular customer but the place seems to go through staff now more than ever, the customer service has declined significantly, they don't have experienced groomers on weekends, scheduling is a nightmare. The staff isn't present when communicating. For Example: they canceled my weekend appointment and asked if I can come in on a Tuesday, I replied no because I'm only off on weekends, then they replied "would a Friday appointment work for you?" I don't know who was texting me, but I'm not trying to waste my time educating everyone on the difference between a weekday and a weekend; and if you can't tell the difference between the two then what makes you think I'm going to feel comfortable buying anything or booking anything there. What more incompetentcies and frustrations await me as a customer? So yeah, I've been a customer since before they opened the azure location and I want to support a local business but I'm not sure what's going on here.

I've been going here since they opened years ago. The products that they have in there are interesting and unique. However, Today I dropped my dog off to get groomed and they texted me an hour later that he was ready for pick up. when I did come to pick him up later on in the afternoon they told me that due to the fact that he had "old" stitches They did not complete the grooming and basically shaved him. No professional communication with me was ever provided until I picked him up regarding this. The groomer kaitlyn I believe her name was was honestly abracive, aggressive and disingenuous. This is unfortunate but I think something worth noting and reviewing about if you're looking for a groomer to have open honest communication with you and your prized pet. And most valuable friend you might want to consider that when coming here now. Whether or not you want to risk the lack of professional communication that I witnessed today.

Desperately needs a booking system for the self wash. Went in first time and got told the tub was in use with someone waiting for it after, asked to make a reservation for it, was told they don't do that, asked to be on the wait list, then got told they don't do that. After just being told there's someone waiting for it. Was told to call on the way next time for the best chance. Called next day, guy said there's one ahead of me (so they DO have a wait list) so I went and waited, went in and girl said we just had to wait for a doodle to be dried, an hour later they call and say "hey so they actually have several dogs." Total wait time of 2 hours and still ended up not getting a bath. I use to work at a self wash in anthem, totally backwards operations here. Shame too, it's a nice store.

Really enjoyed this place!! Like many other self wash places they had supplies for you. But they went a little above and beyond, the basket you get includes an assortment of brushes, towels, a free snack for your good boy/girl, and face wash for your pup. We also got to choose between 4 different shampoo scents and add on $5 hot oil treatment. Aside from all that, they also have optional services you can add for VERY decent fees ! Such as nail trim or sanitary trim. Away from the bath the store is neatly organized with the all the goodies you may want to take a look at, we ourselves, picked up the wonder-ball and some chicken necks that our dogs loved !

I absolutely love the bathing section. There are 2 different spots. One is a tub, and the other is a shower. There are clips for you to hook your pups up so they don't run or slip while bathing them. I have a husky, and this a huge help for me. They're so nice about all the dog hair. I try my hardest to clean it as much as possible before I leave. But man, does it go everywhere. The doggie donuts are my favorite to buy for my dogs. They're so cute, and I feel like I'm giving them a gourmet treat! I normally get the donut and then get my dog a pupachino after her baths. Lucky starbucks is right next door.

I called to ask about grooming for my new pup and the gal on the phone was super nice and helpful. We went in the next day and she was the same gal who took my pup back for his face trimming. They kept his beautiful eyelashes intact, but made him able to see more clearly! A gentleman helped me find the perfect clean shampoo and answered more questions about brushes and grooming. Both employees were super knowledgable, friendly and took their time with me. This kind of service is why I love shopping small! This business makes it easy to keep it local. We will be back!

The place is clean and well organized. Friendly and helpful staff that seem to genuinely love being helpful and they are quite knowledgeable about product offerings. Along with them providing EVERYTHING a person needs to bathe and dry their dog for $15, I recommend the deshedding conditioner addon for dogs that shed quite a bit for $5 more dollars; works well. I bring my husky here for her twice a year shedding bath and they are very patient with me and how long it takes to bathe her. I will gladly be a repeat customer.

We called at 5:30pm to ask if they were busy, they said they only had one person using the self wash and to come in. We showed up 5:38 pm and they said they couldn’t let us use it because they close at 6….online says 7pm and on their door it says 7pm. One of the workers couldn’t answer our questions he kept looking at the other worker to answer for him. Very awkward and the other worker (who told us on the phone to come in) said the closing time was wrong online…then why make us come?! Very unprofessional and rude.

I love this place. My dog does not. LOL A tub and a shower on raised platform. Shampoo in the hose, great water pressure. Second raised platform for drying. High powered blower. Very loud, but faster drying. Snood available for covering your dog's ears. Staff are top notch and very friendly and efficient. You ask and they deliver. One visit, I couldn't find my conditioner bottle before I went. When I arrived, they handed it to me. I didn't even know I'd left it the visit before. I recommend this place highly.

Went to another groomer for my 2 doodles. (Petsmart) My dogs came back after 6 hours, poorly shaved and had multiple Knicks that were bleeding. It cost me $275. Was very hesitant to try again, but finally gave in and went to Barking Dogs. From dropping off to pick up was only 3 hours. Dogs were PERFECTLY cut to our expectations. Had little bows and scarfs that were adorable. The staff was amazing. My 2 doodles will forever be going here. After it was all said and done I paid $190!! 5 stars all around

We just moved to Las Vegas a couple months ago and found Barking Dogs for my 3 dogs and our kitties. They are so caring, and treated all my animals so well. They groomed my 2 dogs and we tried out the dog washing station which is amazing! My GSD smells so good, and I definitely recommend the hot oil treatment for 5$ it helps with shedding and she is so shiny. Great place, everything you could ever want there for your fur babies and everyone was so kind and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

Kayne absolutely loved it! He got a nice bath with a hot oil treatment and got his nails done. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were lots of natural treats and baked goodies for your puppy to enjoy! We will definitely be back! The only reason for the 4 stars is because it would have been nice if there were some kind of seating outside or somewhere to sit while waiting. It can get difficult for me standing for so long. Other than that, it was a great experience.✅

Just picked up my dog today at this location. I’ve been taking her there for over a year. Today the groomer told me they are raising the price, because they had to put a muzzle on her while being brushed. They told my neighbor they were raising her price also because the dog weighs 15 lbs. her dog only weighs 5-6 lbs. why do they have to make excuses to raise prices instead of just saying they are raising their prices? ‍♀️ My neighbor & I are looking for new groomer.

We will stop bringing our fur baby here. Why? When I see help wanted signs in the window (constantly)that's a red flag. As I have sat with corporate leaders asking me a question on how to keep people happy I said you figure it out. It's simple pay generally is a major issue and learning to work with people's schedules. It's not to hard. In all fairness they have done a good job with our pet ,until our neighbors pet was just injured. Thank you all wish you all the best!

Took my dog in to have him washed & a haircut. He had a real bad experience last time at a well none pet store. Told the lady the story. She listen to every word, made suggestions & then talked to Buddy while I was still holding him. It made Buddy relaxed & then she took him & still giving him the attention she said she'd call. I was amazed how Buddy was with her. When I came back to get him, he looked great. She did such a great job. Buddy will be a customer for life.

I am a dog breeder from Oklahoma and I brought two of my puppies with me to Las Vegas to visit family when I saw Barking dog and for the first time I use their self wash service to bath my golden doodle puppies and it was the best experience I have had. The staff was so helpful facilities for the self wash were amazing top of the line stay of the art. I was so impressed and my two fur babies looked amazing. I will returned. I wish we had one of these in Oklahoma.

Whoever is the owner of this store should be ashamed of themselves to continue to stay open for business with no AC. This week has been the hottest week in Vegas setting record temperatures. To continue to be open for business while their employees are subjected to NO air conditioning and continue to groom DOGS while it's so HOT in this store! Air conditioning is essential in Las Vegas ! Please treat your employees better !

I took my dog here for the self wash and it was definitely worth the $15. It includes towels, blow dryers, brushes & much more. (Just try to go in the mornings cause they do get busy) To top it off the staff was friendly and they make sure you’re okay during the process. They also offer hot oil to help with shedding!! Plus grooming, if you just want to drop off your dog. Just schedule a couples days advance.

This was the first time I’ve used them and I will ABSOLUTELY be back!! By far the best grooming they’ve had in the past two years since we moved here! The store is filled with great products and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful!! Even if you’re ok with your current groomer (I’ve tried a few) you should give them a try, you will NOT be sorry!!! THANK YOU FOR TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE OF MY GIRLS!!

Love this place! The self service dog wash is great! My big pup loves it, and she's scared of anyone and everything. It makes the experience nice. We've also had a kitten groomed and shaved down to short kitten hair vs his long her. I wish I could remember her name, but she did amazing with my baby and her looks great! Everything great customer service with lots of food and treats for your babies.

First time customer and I was pleasantly surprised. Great selection of food, treats, CBD products, accesories and self dog wash is set up functionally. I was able to wash both my shepherds in the same shower at the same time. Only feedback is for them to put some sort of grip on the floor on the side we do the blow drying. Otherwise loved everything else. I would definitely come back.

Great! Great place for bathing your fur babies, they have a caddy ready for all your uses. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathing station easy to use and no issues with soaping, because its happen at a different self dog wash. I have 2 dogs and I was able to put one at the drying station which is right across from shower station while I bathed one dog. I will definitely be returning.

My dog had been shedding her summer coat since the end of October. I took her in the for basic $15 self dog wash...you do it yourself but they give you all the tools you could ever need...plus this time I included the $5 hot oil treatment and OMG her shedding stopped! Its totally gone! Her fur is so soft and sleek and smooth now! I will be a loyal customer forever now

I absolutely love this place! I really needed to give my dog a bath and no other self wash service was open until 7. It was 6pm and I called to see if they would allow me to come in so close before closing and they did! Autumn, was so sweet to my pup and thoroughly walked me through everything. Such a wonderful place with amazing staff. I will be coming back!

1st time going there. I'll definitely be returning. There were 2 stalls to wash, blow-dry and brush out your fur baby. Comes with shampoo, brushes, towels, face wash and an apron. Ala cart there is add ons for in between full grooming. The shampoo provided doesn't lather up. If you want to get suds. Bring your own shampoo Everyone was helpful.

Always greeted with a friendly smile.. staff is very helpful & they clean & sanitize after every pet.. I love bringing my GS here for her monthly baths(self wash).. FYI they stop doggie baths close to an hr before closing.. might get a squeeze in now & then but timing is everything thing.. very popular spot so be willing to wait for a min..

I did the first try experience of their dog wash with my two dogs with one of is a real knucklehead. They were very helpful very understanding, even with the big mess we created with one of the baths. It was a great learning experience for me and I will definitely return just because of their knowledge and kindness and professionalism.

My goldendoodle loves her groomer, Andrea. The staff greet Abby as we walk in, the team is knowledgeable about their products. I picked up a new dog food and my Abby loves it. She is already on her second bag. They offer to carry out large bags of food for customers. The self-washing stations are always busy so it serves the needs.

We HAD to wash our Newfie. She is a swimmer and she was sooo stinky! There's no time limit to the self wash stations and everything you need is included: perfect pressure wash, brushes, shampoo, towels, face cloth. The staff were so helpful, they even helped us pick out a treat for our sensitive pup. I highly recommend!

Made an appointment yesterday for today at 3, girl on phone was very unhelpful when I asked to confirm , and I get there and they barely told me they can’t see him because he barely got his vaccine yesterday but a lady on the phone yesterday said it was fine. Waste of time truthfully. Don’t go here.

Took my Miniature pincher today 4/15/22 to get her nails trimmed. Took them 10 mins they couldn't trim her front paws due to her being quote on quote. "Scared" Paid $15. Then took her to petco . And they seen that they only did one back paw. Total scam. Never bringing her back to Barking dogs.

Nice place. Only issue I had was stale/old facial shampoo. When I asked the workers when they changed over the shampoo last they said a day or so. I suggested they get a new one because it can cause irritation to the dogs skin. Sadly they didn’t take the bottle to replace they just said ok.

I love this place! I’ve been bringing my maltipoo here since he had all his vaccines now he’s about to be 3 years old, Kelly is the one who usually grooms him and she’s does a wonderful job always! Also the dog food from there is the only food my dog will eat ! Highly recommend this place

Did not see Mermaid and if ya been to the one in Charlotte, NC you would be mad at this place. It is like a indoor petting zoo. I would have been mad if I actually had to pay. I would rather get up early and drive to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach than go to this place.

Costumer service has declined. Seems like staff has changed and some are not as friendly as the old staff and costumer service has also declined. Also the self wash has declined. I really liked this place but it seems like I might have to look for another place to wash my dogs.

I would have given them 5 stars but the sprayer was having trouble switching from shampoo to water so they had to put some shampoo in a cup for me. Otherwise it was awesome . People were super nice and helpful they supply everything my dog loved it . I will definitely go back

My husband and I took our baby here for the first time to use the self wash and she did so good and everyone there was super helpful and walked me through how to do everything. This is our new favorite place for our pets I'm so happy with our experience this is a great place.

We've been going here for years for our dog grooming. At first they were great, but now they charge extra for older dogs and don't tell you until you pay because "it depends on the groomer" we're going to start looking elsewhere. Watch out for surprising hidden fees

We wanted to try out a new dog self wash place. Autumn helped us and was extremely helpful and nice. Because if her attentive service, we will definitely be coming back again. There are 2 self washing stations and the give you a caddy with brushes that you may use.

I've already rated 5 stars before but I wanted to add a comment this time, was there Monday before the closing and they were so above and beyond, they have the best energy and I just absolutely looove love this self doggie wash, best in town you guys! Best!!

I highly recommend this place. Staff is friendly as heck. Super helpful and you get to give your doggo a bath! I suggest spending the extra on the hot oil treatment. It's done wonders for my dogs allergy skin and fur. Week later and she's still soft as heck

This place is awesome!! Ryan, who took care of my 2 grandpuppies was amazing. One of the dogs is 15 and has hip problems, he was extra careful with her. They both came out looking great!! They also have self-washing if you prefer to get wet

I went specifically to bath my 85 pound Labrador. The bathing tub, which was approximately 4ft high , had no stairs. They expect someone to lift big dogs. They did help with that but still inadequate and I will not return.
