The staff was very helpful with suggesting adventure books for my 8 y/o daughter. They suggested Percy Jenkins and Armani (similar to Harry Potter Series). Also, I bought some African American history books for the summer for her to read. For myself, I purchased some meditation journals and became a member for the Barnes and Noble club. The benefits include 10% off, free bday gift, free child meal, and other perks. Overall the store was clean and presentable. I came at the open time of 9am and the only issue I would say is the women’s restroom was extremely dirty and the trash was overflowing. Also there was toilet paper and paper towels all over the floors. Other than the bathroom conditions it was a great experience and I will return soon.
Dropped by to pick up a book for vacation, left with four and one for my wife. Was looking for specific title and Anna came to the rescue. I only knew two words of the title, and Anna took me to the section that it might be in, but returned within moments and found the title for me. She even made a great suggestion for a book from my wife. Anna was so helpful and brought back old school book store service. Store is well laid out, perfectly lit, great service. Stop buying books from that place named after a big river and shop here at this Barnes & Noble, where you will get personalized service and friendly help. Highly recommend
I came to Barnes & Noble today. Looking for a gift for my mom. The store is huge and has an incredible selection so I was a little bit overwhelmed. Luckily, I ran into Kevin at the service desk. He was extremely kind and generous with his time and help me find the perfect gift for my mom. You can ask for a better customer service! Also, I have to say that as a building manager myself, that the store is kept extremely clean and well organized. I took some pictures to show off how good the store looks. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for the perfect gift or just a cool place to chill.
This is really a fantastic Barnes & Noble. I have always been impressed with the selection that they have been able to offer at this particular location. I love all the photography and art books they have; it certainly stands out compared to other Barnes & Noble locations and even competes with the selection at more specialized art bookstores. The staff is also always helpful and pleasant, and they're very easy to find when you need a hand. If you're in the area and looking for a bookstore or just a cool place to spend a couple hours roaming around, this is the spot.
There were only a few customers inside Starbucks, the day I visited the location. The staff's customer service was fair. Two of my orders were incorrect. They did compensate for the mix-up. And the orders were delicious once the corrections were made and I received them. That, was a plus. The eating area was clean. The atmosphere was the usual ( and I love it) quiet and laid-back. It's pricey, yes. But, in this case the quality did not disappoint. If this POST is helpful, please, give it a thumbs UP.
Terrible Barnes and Noble. No kid toys. No Trains to play with. No where to sit and read. The Starbucks is adjacent but not connected to the store. Very very disappointed. What is the point of driving all the way to this bookstore to buy a book when people can buy books at home and have them shipped. We have a Barnes and Noble by the house. My kid and I play with the trains there a couple times a week. After every third visit we buy a book. I’d never purchase anything from this Barnes and Noble.
Planning trip to Barnes & Noble on Peachtree this weekend get belated gift for niece, child. Seeking wonderful set of books which will be good now and future. My 12 volume set of illustrated U. S. History still sitting my own bookshelf. My 12volume set of WomenS Day Encyclopedia of Cookery is sitting in other bookcase. I seeking a classic set of books my niece daughter can keep for years. Will report findings Monday......
Compared to other large bookstores this is by far the best. Finding a spot to sit and relax is easy whether it be in the coffee shop or in the nonfiction section. There is certainly more here than books. There is a good selection of family games and a children's section like no other. I have been able to find authors at this store that I have followed for years. Oh and the magazines are plenty.
This store, and shopping center all together, is infested with homeless people EVERYWHERE! They're in the restrooms, on the benches outside, and even laying in the grass. A paying customer can't comfortably sit outside on the bench and enjoy a coffee without being harassed.
Sale books are still not great, but magazine selection is good, and they still have CDs, vinyl LPs, and DVDs. Cafe is great, and I love the collectibles section in back, especially the Anime, Ghibli, and Harry Potter merch.
This Barnes and Noble is soo nice inside, and they also have a huge selection. I love the children’s story time as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. I love how clean and maintained it is as well.
Absolutely most friendly staff I’ve encountered at any establishment in quite some time. A bonus book signing and several reads on mindfulness, along w a great Richard Feynman “find” …
Dope experience, walked in for two books and left with three. Asked where one book was and the guy helped me but also respected my wish of allowing me to find it because I enjoy the hunt.
Biggest Barnes and Nobles I ever been to in my life personally. Nice environment. Huge selection of books, there's coffee inside, and there's free wi-fi. What else could you need??
Smaller location, but some of the nicest B&N staff that I've ever come across. I interacted with about 4 different people in the store, and everyone was so sweet!
Very nice store. The staff is helpful. If you’re a Starbucks fan, there is one inside. They have a great selection of books and it’s a friendly environment.
Relaxing place! IN the hustle and bustle of the big city, this was a nice spot to take a breather. The Starbucks inside was a bit unfriendly.
Great staff. Always friendly and super helpful. I order books often and have them delivered to my home. Always a good experience.
I wish they had more vinyl selections & a bit more organized with the vinyls. But the customer service was great!!!
Friendly, helpful staff. A great children's section. And don't forget Starbucks!
