I dropped a bracelet into the shop where two children were wrestling on the floor, it was difficult to concentrate as the children were so noisy. There were 3 members of staff in the shop and I was asked if I had been in the shop before which I hadn't. One person explained I was brave coming in as the children continue to cause mayhem. Today I came to collect the bracelet relieved that there was only a man in the shop, whereby I asked if I could collect my bracelet. The man looked at me for several minutes glaring at me whereupon I felt rather intimidated. Eventually I asked him politely if there was a problem as he continued to stare at me. He then asked for my name which obviously he was waiting for. Clearly I should have given my name at the beginning but all he had to do was ask and not be sarcastic. He then said he had been up since 3 am because of his children he said this on more than one occasion but by then I could not wait to leave. I will shop elsewhere, where there is a calm relaxing atmosphere with good customer service.

Recently my 87 year old mum developed a nasty swollen joint on her ring finger and we needed to get a ring cut off urgently. I rang Barrington's and they were so helpful and even offered a home visit to do the job. We did however manage to make it up to them and they couldn't have been kinder. The job was done in a matter of seconds without any hassle or additional discomfort to my mum for a small fee of £10. She was delighted to find that they did the job so well, that you can actually hardly tell that the ring has been cut at all. We have bought watches from them in the past and would highly recommend them for their customer service and friendly approach.

Amazing service from a lovely lady in Barringtons. I was after a bracelet and the one I wanted the lady behind the counter explained it might not be suitable for me as I told her I am very heavy handed and the links on the bracelet I liked was very fine. She said she would rather be honest with me than have me disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised and very much appreciated her honesty. She puts her customers needs first! Barry and Deborah really helped me out today with a small screw that was stuck in the back of my thermostat. They kept me laughing while Barry struggled with a very stubborn screw. Once he eventually opened the thermostat he found we couldn't replace the battery. They are jewellers so this wasn't in their field of work but they kindly helped me out and did not make me feel as if I was a bother. You don't get customer service like that anymore and I would highly recommend them.

A huge thank you to both Barry and Debbie for kindly spending a good couple of hours helping my friend cut a ring from a swollen finger. They were both extremely positive and caring and we are very thankful for it. In the process they gave us plenty of advice about ring sizing and materials - they clearly love what they do and are very knowledgable jewellers. I won't hesitate to return if and when a ring needs resizing in the future. Couldn't recommend them more highly!!

I was desperate to get a new battery for my wife's watch and could not find a Jewellers open anywhere in the Totteridge area (or beyond) due to the current Covid19 restrictions. Thankfully discovered that Barrington's was providing a collect and delivery service !. The outcome was that the watch was returned to me complete with a new battery installed the following morning (and at a standard cost). I cannot recommend Barrington's too highly.

I needed a new lobster claw on my sterling silver curb chain. Well I could not have taken it to a better shop. It’s a family business and they are absolutely lovely. So refreshing. You a get an incredible amazing service that is so lacking in other establishments. I can not speak highly enough about Barrington Jewellers. Local to me in Whetstone. I returned home with a curb chain that looked brand new. 5 stars all the way.

My wife's rings were resized to a high standard and available for pick-up within the promised timescales. I love Barringtons. I have been there many times for a repair, to have new watch batteries fitted or my watch straps adjusted. I had an excellent experience at Barrington Jewellers today. Superb customer service, very efficient and friendly who sorted my watch out swiftly and gave me good advice as to what to do if the screw gets loose again. They also have an excellent range of jewellery for sale. Highly recommend. I will be back for Christmas shopping and whenever I need a jewellery service again thank you so much!

Debbie was honourable , extremely helpful and willingly made suggestions . I also learned a lot too! I had jewellery to value and possibly sell after my mothers death. We've been going to Barrington for three years now and we can't recommend them highly enough! Popped in by chance to see if I could get the batteries in a couple of watches replaced and yes both watches done. I left them there with Debbie and picked them up a couple hours later, also took some more back too. The service was fantastic and I would highly recommend going there and extremely reasonable prices.
