I took an appointment for a cleaning based on their reviews and website pictures. They called me twice while I was working to change the time but I couldn’t. When I got there it didn’t look like the picture. Someone was cleaning the floors. I filled out papers and was asked to sit but the only chair was ripped all over and I was not gonna sit there. The other chairs were where the floors was getting cleaned. This cleaning should have been done before the business opens. I went to the washroom and the floors were filthy with long black hairs and sticky spots. I was like Omg I need to go home. But I remembered the papers I just saw said I couldn’t cancel last min. So I went. The chair was very narrow and small, not comfortable at all my back started hurting after 20 mins. There wasn’t a water station beside the chair to rinse your mouth. It was a tiny little room and I felt uneasy to be honest. I did not receive the same cleaning as I usually get when I go to my regular place and now I’m thinking next time I’ll just drive there instead. No flossing happened and no fluoride I think it’s called that prevents you from drinking and eating for 30 mins I mean I e had that each cleaning for years!!! I felt like I wasted my 3 units from my insurance. I felt pressured to book another appointment but I cancelled few days later as I wasn’t feeling ok with the service I received. I don’t understand all these 5* on here. Please go see other places to compare I mean there’s lots of very clean and professional establishments to get your teeth cleaned believe me!! Don’t waste your time or money. The next day funny thing happened I told my neighbour about it and he was like girllll don’t go there!!! ‍♀️ I gave it 2 stars cause the receptionist were kind.

As a new resident to Hamilton I was looking around to find a new dentist! Saw the reviews for Barton dental and I’m so glad I made the decision to pick them. The three ladies at the front are extremely kind, accommodating and just have a great vibe overall. Made me feel very comfortable. Then I had my cleaning done and I can’t for the life of me recall her name (she has blonde hair) but she is amazing, took the time to explain everything I needed to know and did an amazing job. Then the dentist assistant who took my X-rays today, I’m horrible with names sorry. Again was amazing. She took her time to explain what’s going on with my teeth, what’s next and she’s just awesome! Felt extremely comfortable through out my entire visit and I will most definitely be back!!!! Thanks ladies!!!

I was in desperate need of a new dentist after a move and years of going without due to lack of insurance, and Barton Dental welcomed me with open arms! I'm so glad I was able to find a great dental clinic so close to home. Lara is knowledgeable and friendly, takes great care of me (and my teeth!) and always remembers our conversations (although—and I hate to say it—I find sometimes her enthusiasm and chattiness can lengthen my visit a bit as she has stopped periodically mid-cleaning to converse). Mandy + Christie are so friendly and warm; great people to have as the first point of contact when you enter. They have been beyond helpful when dealing with issues with my insurance provider.

I've had 3 cleanings with Lara. She does an incredibly thorough job leaving my teeth significantly whiter. Lara is a very patient, knowledgeable hygienist who gives lots of tips on how to maintain her hard work BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS. She's is a bubbly, funny, lovely young woman who makes the whole experience totally enjoyable ❤️ The front office staff are also wonderful with special mention to Mandy,Christy and NINA. They are rock stars in the Barto dental team. Of course I can't say enough about Dr Ameen when it comes to his dental implant design and his warm attention to his patients needs. BARTON DENTAL IS THE BEST

Lara has done my cleanings for the last two years or so. The other staff are lovely but I gladly book with Lara every time. Lara is bright and spirited, she makes me feel so comfortable and is wildly knowledgeable about my oral hygiene. She remembers everything from our previous appointments, let’s me ask a million questions, follows up with me to ensure I’m on track and have no issues. When there is a problem, she is incredibly attentive and communicates with the dentist very clearly and can put the procedure in terms I understand. Just the best.

Contacted Barton Dental and spoke to the office manager Hanna. Advised her that I was looking to see a hygienist and I have not been able to get an appointment. Some offices that I have contacted are giving appointments months out. Hanna gave me an appointment within two days. I have told her of my dental anxiety. She took it very seriously. She checked in on me while I was with the hygienist, she introduced me to the Dentists at the office, and she made sure that I felt like I was home. I'd definitely go back to Barton Dental because of her.

overcharged for poor quality work had 1 tooth was only supposed to be extracted paid 200$ for xrays 2 teeth were pulled 1 tooth reparied the worst was the recepiton desk she was abrupt and dismissive another 667$ charged the tooth nxt to the one pulled got infected had to get antibiotic could not eat for 7 days only pudding and yogurt when i called had to wait 3 days to have it checked then was told let it go 2 weeks then asked for almost 100$ for the checkup they knew full well i was on fixed income 79yrs

Had two front crowns put in and not only did they do an amazing job but they also made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. I’ve been very scared of the dentist and going here was the first time I was able to get dental work done. This office is the best dental office I’ve ever been too. I just had an fall and walked in with a chipped bridge They took me right away, bonded the bridge to get me through the holidays. We love Barton Dental ! The girls at reception are more than accommodating to all of our needs . My son visits Lisa for all of his orthodontic needs . she is wonderful and explains the entire process as we journey through the braces . All of the other staff are friendly and inviting . What an amazing office. I really appreciated the front desk taking care of my financial concerns. The dentist was really caring and thorough, even though I had tons of questions.
