One of my favorite spots to see jazz in New Orleans. Peter has done a great job cultivating an amazing space, with incredible musicians. You never know who’s going to sit in. Cocktails aren’t cheap, but tasty. Great whiskey selection, great old fashioneds. Order the kale Caesar if you’re hungry, shares a kitchen with Jack Rose.
Hot damn, get yourself over to this amazing jazz bar! Not only was the music phenomenal, but the food was my favorite meal out of a week of eating out in NOLA. My favorite item was the Sticky Rib Tips w/ Jalapeño Jelly. The price was more than reasonable for all the food. I look forward to returning here in the future.
Came to the hotel and bar to see how beautiful it was in person. Really enjoyed sitting at the bar drinking the most refreshing lemonade and Tito's I've ever had. The bartender Cole was awesome and chatted with us about all things New Orleans. We will definitely be back when visiting again! More
My friend and I came in on a whim one Thursday night to see some jazz. The place was packed, there seemed to be only on server on the floor and she was working her butt off! We got our drinks and food out quickly (everything was delicious)
Stopped in just for a quick drink while touring the garden district. Wonderful place to stop. Great drinks and had a great conversation with the bar tender. We had the best catfish sandwich we have ever had. Large filet, deep-fried, and a
I wasn't expecting this place to be as good as it was as the street it is on felt quite bland when we went, but I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. Their gumbo stood out to me as pretty unique - I think it had a strong cloves
Wow! We had a fantastic time at the Bayou Bar yesterday evening. The service? On point: well-timed and not intrusive, and our server JC treated us like royalty. The food? Each of our four dishes were so tasty, flavorful and fresh. (They
First night in New Orleans and this place was a warm welcome! Cocktails and food were both on point and the live music was wonderful. Our server was welcoming and attentive as well. We had our two teens with us and this fit the bill for
We sat at the bar and had a great time with Tyler the bartender. Every drink he made was delicious. He recommended a Pimm's Cup and I couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend not showing up in a rush and to try the burger.
Great lounge at the Ponchitran Hotel. We heard terrific jazz worth double finger snapping hands. New Orleans jazz to the core. The signature cocktails are tasty. Food menu was good. Small portions and ours arrived barely warm.
GET THE BURGER! Everyone in out party had it, and we all agreed it was stellar! The bun is fantastic and everyone's burger was cooked exactly as requested. Service was very good, despite the busy Mardi Gras crowd.
Great service and food for an early evening dinner! I had the catfish sandwich with the Parmesan garlic fries. My drink of choice was the Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. They have a good selection of bourbon. More
Tried it by accident and it was a delight. Claudia my bartender was delightful, attentive and even found me a plug to keep working. Had the grilled cheese with mushrooms and it was flavorful, light and not too
Listened to a Jazz and Blues band while sipping wine. What a treat it was to see the legendary Herlin Riley on the drums that evening. Just a lively vibe in a historic spot!
Great atmosphere great food and drinks. The service is on point! The food menu is limited but everything in it is top notch! More
Amazing food and drinks , tried bay leaf cocktail and old fashioned both are very unique and they have the best live jazz. More
Staff is amazing, best cocktails around, and the live music was over the top! Highly recommend paying this place a visit! More
Small bar with above average food and service was fantastic. The music can be a little loud other than that it was great. More
