Taken my car here on a few occasions now - previously they have always been fine for smaller jobs but I recently booked in to get a clutch fitted. From then on the car has been making loud knocking noises in the lower gears. I was convinced the car was on it's way out but I took it to our trusted family garage elsewhere and they found that brackets had been reinstalled upside down so were knocking against the exhaust! The staff are great but I feel as though they have a lot of jobs coming in so they rushed the work on mine causing the error. For a £500 bill you'd just expect it to be done right first time and not have to fork out more on the issue.

Took my car in with an interior leak and asked for them to check the pollen filter as the leak was consistent with what I had researched. They couldn’t find the leak and told me they had checked the pollen filter and that it was fine. Charged me for the time (fair enough).... Take my car to another garage and explain the leak, they find the leak is coming in through the pollen filter housing, fix it, now no leak in my car! Annoyed Beauley Motors obviously didn’t look properly but still charged me for the time they spent...! and to add to that, they left a nasty oily stain on the front passenger seat.. Gievn 2 stars because they are at least polite.

We have been using this garage since moving to bristol 5 years ago - took the car in initially as they were close to us and spotted them on a google search, but have just kept on using them because we have always found them to be really helpful, super friendly and also fairly priced - and they have always made a plan to squeeze us in if we needed something done in an emergency (which unfortunately has happened a few times!!). Even if we moved somewhere else in bristol, I would carry on using them.

Had a great experience with this garage! I usually get all work done by a family mechanic, but my car broke down and Beauley Motors was around the corner. I took my car in just before they closed and by lunchtime the next day it was ready to collect. The complete cost breakdown was given to me prior to any work being started which was a reasonable price and there were no surprise costs at the end. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return to them again :)

Expect to see random extra charges on the bill for services, and when prompted about it would blame you for not telling them not to do it! Never inform you about it, just do it, and charge you for it anyway! Extremely uncooperative. The bill was nearly twice as previously agreed - this is precisely the kind of shop that would rip you off.

Camper van returned from MOT with damaged skylight and stowed bedding moved from upper storage. John stated this was old damage and was unable to explain why the bedding had been moved. Was promised that he would ask the technician and call me back but never did. Also went ahead with MOT work without contacting me. Never going back.

Disappointing experience. Quoted almost £600 for MOT repairs then did not do all the work and left the unfinished items as advisories which the mechanic said they could do next year! They took my money and guaranteed an MOT failure next year and more work and money for them! Totally unscrupulous and unprofessional.

Left my car with them to sort out a starting issue - they ended up just wasting my time and never managed to start it. Ended up calling AA instead who started it just fine in an hour - in the middle of the street while it was raining! What kind of garage does not know how to start a car?!

Great little car garage. Even dropped off my car outside my house so I could get to work the next morning, can't get better service than that! They also are very clear in what needs doing before they do any work so you know what you're going to pay instead of getting nasty shocks.

Another perfect experience with Beauley Motor Services! Booked in for an MOT with a particular request and they kindly honoured it which they really didn't have to. Have been going to them since I moved nearby, as was recommended by a good friend, and I won't go anywhere else.

They are supposedly your 'local garage' as they want to say, so had them do an estimate for a few jobs to sort out the car - they all added up to 2-3 times more than all other shops quoted, and of course I ended up going elsewhere. Massively overpriced for no reason at all.

Very good service here from friendly and professional staff. I often refer others to go here. They have always been able to to fix what other local garages cant and for a reasonable fee. They even picked me up from work once even though it took over an hour in traffic.

This is a very friendly and reasonably priced local garage in Southville. I moved to the area recently and have taken my car there for a couple of different things and everyone has been very helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend. :)

Great mechanics that really know their stuff. They never use cheap parts and will explain every bit of work they have done. When a garage is hidden away like this one and still really busy then you know they must be doing something right.

Great garage in Southville. Kind enough to fit us in last minute for an MOT when we'd been let down by another garage, despite clearly being very busy. Reliable, and reasonably priced. Will definitely be using this garage moving forward.

It's seems hard to find a garage to trust, but I trust this one and won't go anywhere else now. They often sort out problems on the same day and the prices are so much more reasonable compared to others that I have visited.

Absolutely can’t recommend these guys enough, helped me out with my car when it got stuck outside, helped me find a local recovery guy to move it, absolutely brilliant customer services, wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!
