June 2022. Place has changed for the better. Good prices, no need for special coupons. Bought 3 pairs of shorts. Changing ratings from 2 ⭐ to 4 ⭐. Stopped in as we are always looking for items and even items on sale. Belk is doing something a bit crazy. They offer 65% off if you down load the app HOWEVER they have increased list prices to sky high levels and in many cases find it next to impossible to find a price. Example...summer sports jacket used to sell for between $50-60 is now $160.00...are you kidding? Bill really liked Belk but not now. Stop the silly big discount promotions and get back to normal . Now here's the kicker, What if you don't have a cell phone? No discount?? Bill doesn't have a cell so no discount so Belk gets none of his business.

I enjoyed shopping at Belk's. I found 4 beautiful dresses. However, when time came to check out, I had to walk around the store searching for an employee to check out. Eventually, I found an employee. The customers ahead of me had issues. However, the employee quickly processed them out. The employee was very professional and kind.The poor cashier was struggling. I waited in line probably 10 minutes. It felt longer. While paying for my purchases, one of my dresses did not have a price tag on it. Unfortunately, because the cashier was alone and the line behind me was long, I decided to leave the dress. Did I mention it was the most expensive dress.The cashier and the customers needed help.

Went there to get jewelry because my husband doesn’t have off at all. I have 0 problem waiting. What I have a problem with is being blatantly unacknowledged and profiled because I’m younger. I had my 3 kids with me, 1 being a baby. And it was such a waste of time driving out there. It would have been a really big sale too but being treated like I wasn’t even there while acknowledging others. Lost a big sale and I’ve gotten my stuff there other years and never had issues till today. The Philippine woman moved the mirror in front of me and scoffed while doing so and still said nothing. I get everything is short staffed and waiting is what happens but how rudely I was treated is the issue.

Mixed emotions. Waited in line for 15 minutes to do a return because of the two customers at the register. One male customer was getting confused on pricing and the cashier wasn't understanding. The female customer at the other register was an employee. She had some friends/family with her and did multiple transactions, which she probably gave them her employee discount (which typically is against company policy, but the cashier kept doing it). After all the transactions she made a credit card payment and had her friends used their card to make the payment. Then when it was my turn the cashier only scanned one item for the refund. Luckily I noticed this and she corrected her mistake.

I have been at this location in the Avenues Mall many times but was very disappointed on this visit. My main complaint is that there was this obnoxious noise that was constantly going in the Curvy department. It never stopped the whole time I was there and was louder if I wandered to one wall of the department. The access to the mall was just outside this department and was closed. I asked my sister about it and she said that she had been given several different explanations from several employees. My sister had told me she doesn't shop at this location very much and I can see why. I only came out with 2 items and I didn't stay any longer than I had to due to the noise.

Used the app for a pick up, and had curbside pickup....fantastic. went inside the next day for an exchange of size. Looks like the store is being remodeled and through the transition they have a good variety still out and available. May be lacking help which is why the 4 instead of 5 stars. Not many registers and moves slow BUT friendly and helpful associate was manning the register. Lots of sales and clearance available. Got just what I needed and will definitely be back again. This store is my new go to!

30% off...but since items are not priced you will need to take it to a register to find the price as they took out the price check machines. I walked around looking for someone to ask the price and of course it's fully self service now. If you don't find your size in the shoe department I guess it's just too bad. I ended up buying nothing and wonder if they realize there are other stores that can actually take care of their business. Pity because it used to be a good place to shop

Everyone is always nice in the jewelry department. They know be by name because I have spent so much there. The lady in the cosmetics was nice. She said she had worked for y'all for 28 years. When I went to pay for my items she said I couldn't use $ gift card I received from the store. That is ridiculous. It was only for $5.00. And that I could only pay with my belk card that is crazy. I should be able to pay with cash if I want to pay that way.

Wide selection, kinda pricey, friendly customer service. All the sales at these retail stores are terrible. I feel like I'm at a car dealership with all this % of MSRP stuff. An example, since when does a t-shirt with a little art work on it ever cost $34? That's the MSRP... I'm too skeptical, and think just like at the car dealerships, the MSRP's are inflated, in this case because of the clearance sale... to make the buyer to pay more.

Open your dressing rooms back up already, I came here 3 months ago and they were closed then Today it is 02/14/22 and they are still closed all across the store it’s ridiculous, it’s a complete waste of time to come shop in person if you can’t try them on. Wake up people Covid has died down a ton and especially in Florida , there’s no reason for the dressing rooms to be closed. If your going to keep them closed then close your store.

I’m giving them 2 stars because their customer service is always amazing. But they rearranged the store recently and moved women’s downstairs to mix it with girls and it’s a mess. The bathing suits are all mixed together and finding your size is impossible. It reminds me of a garage sale, this is the exact reason I don’t shop at places like TJMAXX, it’s too confusing. You lost a long time customer today.

What Goes Around Comes Around, sells used Louis Vuitton bags, at Belks in Jacksonville, and they are outrageously overpriced and all are pre-owned. My friend purchased a used satchel bag for me. It was below fair, with loose stitching and oily handles. Horrible. She could buy it cheaper on sites like poshmark or even at an official Louis Vuitton store. Disturbing. And, no refunds or exchanges.

Pamela (Pam) is a LIFE SAVER. I needed a new suit for my husband last minute and she went above and beyond to find his sizing and the exact tuxedo I needed. I had my kids and she went out of her way to search for me without dragging them through the store. Not only did she find the last one in his sizing, they were on sale. I saved over 200$ on a full Tux. Thank you Pam! You are incredible.

Received everything by mail. The associate from the Clinique counter in the Belk’s store in Brunswick was very professional and accommodating to my needs. I will continue to order my cosmetics from this location, and I hope that I will have the same associate and the same experience as my August, 2023 experience. I wish that I could remember her name. Something like Kelly or Haley?

This is now the go to place for toddler and kids formal clothing. I tried jc Penny and they had 3 formal toddler dresses and I didn't like either of them. Belk had many racks of dresses. I bought an $80 dress for $29. They lack in the shoe department but they were happy to tell me where to locate a pair if toddler formal shoes. Great prices lots of inventory and excellent service.

Belk, you're killing me. Dressing rooms still closed and no selection of inventory. So now we are forced to buy items and try them on in the car to ensure we don't have to make a return trip. I don't enjoy paying for shipping and then traveling to the store to return it when it doesn't fit. It's time to lift these bans, and return your store back to the greatness it once was.

Went shopping today at the Belk at the Avenues for clothes for an interview. Marilyn was working the men's clothing department and was super helpful. She sized me for a shirt and even helped find a matching tie for my shirt. She was considerate of our choices and was even successfully juggling several other people who needed help at the same time. She was awesome!

Just went in to grab a quick gift and met the best cashier Joshuan. She was awesome and powerful and a great influence because she's the reason we almost got a belk card. Only reason we didn't is because I just opened another charge card today. She had excellent customer service and made our day with her calm yet shining personality.

Store looks nice but it's run of the mill...if you've seen one department store you've seen em all. Way too expensive for my taste. Was looking at a plain Christmas sweater that was half polyester and half cotton with ONE little tree on the front. Tree wasn't even decorated...just a plain ol tree. $74.50...yea, no. I'll pass.

Love Belk's I always go to the sales rack and I always find something that is a great markdown. They always have really nice clothes and they're still in style they just have things that go on the clearance rack that is my favorite place to go. Got some beautiful clothes from there and I will be continuing to shop there.

Love their sales! They sell great quality merchandise and often have sales to die for. The only thing I don't like it's the limitations placed on their coupons... and I'm not talking those which restricts a discount to certain brands, but it's omitted from clearance items...THAT SUCKS! Otherwise, a GREAT store!

Nice mall in Jacksonville. I found and bought a nice suit on clearance sale to wear for my niece's wedding. I wish this store was located in Ohio. Cashier in shoe dept was very nice and provided great customer service. Also the male who worked in shoe dept was great too. He assisted my daughter-in-law.

Hard time finding a staffer to ask a question... Layers of dust on the clothes display units. A long wait to check out (felt like Wal-Mart). Belk used to be an upscale shopping experience and they are good at it. It feels like they are becoming a discount seller, and they are not good at that.

Its been, a while since I've bought anything from there, or had any interaction with employees. however, I noticed that there was still a nice brand selection.there were slot of families in there shopping.it felt like a good place to be.on the plus side there restroom was immaculant.

Some really good sales going on right now. If you have the patience to search the clearance racks, you'll come up with some good finds. (Just don't want to try anything on because the fitting rooms were a disaster) but, despite that, a great day of found bargains.

Prices seemed higher and the sales team in the men's suite area was very pushy. Originally they were helpful but after a few minutes they were very irritating. Not everyone has unlimited resources and they did not seem to grasp what a limited budget was.

Belk has the old-school department store look and feel, but on the whole, their prices and sales feel more like an outlet store. Belk is on the first and second floor with a working escalator inside. Belk connects to the south end of the Avenues Mall.

Went to avenues mall to purchase perfume for wife. Sales associate not very friendly . Did direct me to new product but I felt I was rushed. Not at all like Atlantic store location. They were out of perfume is the reason I didn't go there at first

Not enough cashiers Saw workers on the floor stocking The cashier was not pleasant. She referred me to my cell to access my discount. I felt she should have been helpful. She was older and had poor customer service.

Never been in a Belk store before. Quickly browsed the aisles. Store was well laid out and clean. Did not purchase anything on this visit but I get the emailed offers so definitely will keep an eye on the promos .

Disappointed. It felt like a bargain basement store, or one that's going out of business. Merchandise crammed onto racks, but still very poor choices. The emailed coupons didn't apply to items on sale. Sad.

I always thought Belk was too far above my price range. Just recently learned you just have to know where to look, and when. Better than Dillard's, and light-years beyond Kohl's. I'll definitely be back!

This store used to carry Chanel makeup but not any longer, and in plus size they stopped carrying a lot of the big brand names. It's a little disappointing, Other areas are still good and well stocked.
